Khorasan Mediterranean Cuisine

Came here because I was craving Mediterranean food. Walked in the restaurant and there is ton on seating for everyone! And this restaurant was different because it had Mediterranean food from all over the world. We started off with their Tea then got some appetizers. The Afghan ashaks were my favorite. Then me and my wife shared our beef kabob & spicy noodles and the spicy fried noodles. We absolutely loved it ! The server helped us understand the menu and what kinds of food their was. Definitely coming back here !

This hole in the wall place is one you won’t forget. Ever wanted to try a very different kind of food?Uyghur style is one you have been missing out on. While getting a hair cut in the area, we stumbled upon this place by chance. We even did some research to see what kind of food they offer, and after one look we knew we wanted to try it. The inside is quaint, and they have QR codes to order from at the table. Everything is plates that can be shared, which is a great thing to do, the more the merrier! We ordered a few potatoe and lamb dishes, pumpkin dumplings, a green been dish, and a beer and onion dish. Wow these dishes were fantastic, tasty, and addicting (we wanted more!). We had some hot milk tea they had, and we definitely recommend that. We finished up with honey cake, a great way to close out. This is definitely a place you bring 4-6 people to, try a bit of everything. The service is good and they check in on your repeatedly. Check this hidden taste out!

Came here since the tacos place next door was packed. The restaurant was pretty empty and felt nice and cozy. We liked the decor and the server was nice and efficient. The herbs on my mint lemonade looked a bit weird in my opinion as some were darker, similar to cilantro about to expire; the drink was good nonetheless although very strong and I watered it down a bit with the compliment water. Said compliment water had a weird taste, which I did not like at all. We ordered the dumplings shown on the appetizers section, and were very bland - not tasty at all. Then our kabobs came in, chicken and lamb. The plantes came with a generous amount of rice, a charbroiled tomato, semi raw veggies (bellpeppers, onions, and tomatoes), kabob on top of a naan, a white sauce and a lime. The lamb kabob and sauce were very good. The rice didn't have much flavor to it. The chicken kabob was good and a bit gamey. We paid a closer look to the chicken and noticed some pieces were undercooked. We brought it up to the server's attention and stopped eating as we lost our appetite. The server didn't charge us for the chicken kabob plate, which we thought was an appropriate resolution. Although our experience might not represent the average experience at this restaurant, we don't plan on going back as the food was not that tasty.

A very cozy restaurant and serves halal food. We liked the nice vibes and the decoration of the uyghur culture. We loved almost all the dishes we tried. They came quickly and hot, they were rich in flavors! Prices are moderate. They have a section for desserts. The staff are very friendly.

Update Jan 2024: we came three separate times and every time the Uyghur plov was not available. The second time we came, the service was really slow. Our hot dish was placed on the counter for a long time before serving to our table, so the dish was a bit cold. It seemed like a staff shortage problem during the busy hours. But sometimes it was really empty compared to the taco shop next door. Original review: Very very delicious! The milk tea pot (sweet) is just very tasty. It comes with a big pot with hot milk tea and a couple of small glasses. The milk tea pot can be shared with everyone on the table. The Uyghur Laghman comes with noodles and a hot sauce (your choice meat and veggies). The waitress poured the hot sauce onto the noodles at serving time. You can choose spicy level 1-10 before they make the dish. We chose spicy level 1 and really liked the tomato flavor in the sauce. The lamb skewer served at a really big portion and is enough to be shared with a couple of people on the table. We really liked the Samsa. The bun stuffed with hot beef. We ordered two of them and more to take home. The only down side is that the Uyghur Plov was not available the time we came (Sunday noon). This was a disappointment as we came for this dish before the trip. This is definitely a restaurant that we will come back. We will try other dishes next time!

Pretty good Uyghur food! I've tried better at other restaurants, but it's not bad. You actually have to pay/add tip when you're ordering online through the QR code, which is a bit strange, especially for the tipping. Food comes about the typical speed of restaurants, and the portions are really large.

My wife found this place because she really wanted to try uyghur food again. She had something similar in Northern China when she was in college. The food at this restaurant took her back to that trip. Uyghur food is completely halal food which to me means high quality but don't come here looking for pork. The lamb kabob was amazing and we cleaned that out really quickly with some naan bread that came with the dish. A lot of the dishes we bought did have some spice in them so if you don't like anything with a kick I wouldn't recommend most of the dishes, but there are some dishes for those where spice is not there jam. We got to try Doogh for the first time (yogurt based drink) and it was amazing. The server recommended the mint version and I'm so glad she did. It also comes plain or pomegranate. After leaving the restaurant I immediately looked up how to make that at home because I wanted it again. It really counterbalanced the spiciness of the dishes by cooling my taste buds off with this refreshing yogurt drink. The server was so polite and so friendly. One of the best servers I've had since COVID. She was really nice to our son and even gave us a complimentary dish for coming to the restaurant. I gave her the biggest tip I've given since COVID to any server. The decor is simple and cute then matches the theme to the place. Definitely bring your compact car when you go to this restaurant because the parking is really tight but plentiful. I will definitely go back again soon! Got to get my hands on more of that doogh!!!

This place had been on my list for awhile and I finally got the chance to go. As soon as you walk in the vibe is right from the decor to the staff. We started off with drinks I went with Doogh which was a yogurt based drink served with crush ice which was very refreshing. As I browsed the menu I saw the word Naan and ordered right away but this was the only thing I would skip next visit. After having naan from Indian restaurants the bar is set to high and I was disappointed that it didn’t come close but let me tell you about the entrees. We ordered lamb rack kabob, house laghman (Hand-pulled noodles with delicious stir-fried beef, bell pepper onions, green bean cabbage, and tomato.) and fried lamb with naan (House-seasoned lamb and naan stir-fried with onion, cilantro, and bell peppers.) The lamp chops were perfectly seasoned and cooked to perfection, so full of flavor accompanied by rice and a grilled tomato. The house laghman was what I was looking forward to the most and it didn’t disappoint. If you love noodles this is a must have. The sleeper was the fried lamb with naan. I know I said you can skip the naan itself but they way they fried with the lamb 🤌🏾. I also ordered a lentil soup myself which hit the spot even though it was very hot. My friends and I didn’t leave a morsel of food behind and definitely want to come back and try other items.
