"This family-run stall is inevitably a hit with anyone who eats here, including patrons such as the Thai royal family. The simplicity of the exterior belies the gem of a Thai kitchen hidden inside. Some dishes are unique and feature the family's secret recipes. The stir-fried pork with bird's-eye chilli is tender and bursting with herbal aromas. The signature yellow curry with large prawns and crispy lotus root strikes the perfect blend of sour, spicy and sweet." - Michelin Inspector
"Krua Apsorn has several locations around Bangkok’s more picturesque, old school neighborhoods, making it a great place to go for a hearty Thai meal while strolling around. The decadent crab omelet is an all-time favorite; round out an order with stir-fried crab with string beans and yellow chilies, river prawns with garlic, and a bowl of sour lotus stem and prawn soup. Do not skip the signature coconut sorbet for dessert. If you have a choice, try the Samsen Road location, where the chef herself, Pa Dang, spends the most time." - Chawadee Nualkhair, Austin Bush, Sirin Wongpanit
"Krua Apsorn: Thai Lunch Krua Apsorn is an award-winning, royally patronized everyday Thai food restaurant. Expect a clientele made up of fussy families and big-haired, middle-aged ladies, and a cuisine revolving around full-flavoured, largely seafood-and vegetable-heavy central Thai dishes. This is one of the most famous restaurants in Thailand and is a must for every visitor to The Siam. At a minimum you must order: Green Curry With Fish Balls, Stir fried Crab Meat with Yellow Chili and String beans, Crabmeat omelet, fried giant river prawns, mushroom larb. I recommend taking the Siam boat (5 minutes) to the Wat Rachathiwat Pier and making the short walk through the beautiful old Bangkok neighborhood. After lunch head back down to the river and walk back to The Siam stopping at the 199 year old Chinese temple just before you walk under the bridge."

We were fortunate to got a chance to try michelin (bib) restaurant and it was really worth it. Everything tastes amazing especially crab and prawn. We also tried coconut ice cream which was super delicious and i would recommend trying it out!
The downside was parking which was quite difficult to find (took us around 10 min) and too many tourists leading a but noisy for us. The service was also great.

I didn't feel the need to go to the main store, and in fact, I enjoy visiting this place. Great taste foods and friendly staff. I think that it's one of the best restaurants in Bangkok.

I heard that the founder of the restaurant was ex-chef of Royal family so we came here to eat. We asked a staff and he recommend us 6 dishes. All were enormous portion, mouthful, dedicate, sophisticated and delicious like exactly what we expected. We will definitely come back here again.

One of our favorite restaurants in Bangkok. We visited the restaurant with our luggages in tow, direct from the airport.
A few of our favorite dishes from the restaurant are:
- stir fry crab meat with yellow chilli
- deep fried fish with mango salad
- yellow curry with young lotus stem
- stinky beans with prawns and mince pork
- stir fry cow slip flower with mince pork (seasonal)
They have a small range of desserts which is all good. The coconut sorbet is especially refreshing.
Since the restaurant is located around government offices, it can get crowded at lunch time, so best to visit before 12pm or after 1pm.

Delicious and flavorful Thai food with many interesting dishes. Recommended dishes include fluffy crab omelet, stir-fried pork with bitter bean, fish cakes, and yellow curry with lotus stems. Very delicious!

The crab omelet is good. The stir-fried dragon beard with garlic is light and crunchy. I didn't want to waste 3 hours lining up for the crab omelet, and it didn't disappoint me. I will definitely come back again.

Michelin restaurant since 2019. The crab omelette should be the star dish here. Should be because the crab meat inside is rather pathetic. Fried tofu and fried crab roll is excellent. Fish with mango salad and fried vegetable is above average
Overall, a pleasant dining experience. Would be an excellent experience if the crab omelette provides the wow factor
