I went here with my family after Halloween. The farm is larger than I expected but very beautiful and well-designed. I got some apple cider donuts, a bag of apples, and jar of peaches. The customer service was great and my whole family had a good time here. We'll definitely visit again next year!

Google
We had a great time here in mid-September (prior to pumpkin patch opening). There are several activities for the kiddos, and the fields are blooming & beautiful. A visit here is highly recommended. While you're there, pick up a jug of apple cider, a box of apple cider doughnuts, and a big bag of kettle corn. Also, visit the little restaurant and enjoy an apple cider floating. You'll be glad you did.

Spending my Saturday at Kuipers Family Farm was an absolute delight, especially with the nice weather. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. One of the highlights was the chance to pick our own sunflowers and other flowers, a charming activity that added a personal touch to our visit. The little train ride around the farm was enjoyable and offered a relaxing way to see the sights. After all the walking and exploring, we treated ourselves to donuts and spiced apple cider, which was the perfect refreshment. The farm's store truly stole the show for me. I was happy to find an array of pickled items, alongside some BBQ sauce and honey. The pickled beets, in particular, have been a hit at home, and I can’t wait to share this experience with more family members on our next visit. I highly recommend checking out Kuipers Family Farm for a peaceful and enjoyable day out!

Google
We love going to Kuipers! Typically we do the pumpkin farm, but this year we decided to go apple picking (we'll still be doing the pumpkin farm of course!). We had a blast and got a LOT of really yummy apples! The kids had a great time and we were all very happy with the entire experience! We'll definitely be going back for other festivals as well, in the future!

Me and my sisters had an amazing time here this past Saturday!!! The weather was nice. 75 degrees in October, you can’t beat that! Everyone was so nice! Apple picking was a great experience! Cider Donuts absolutely delicious! I highly recommend!!

We’ve visited Kuipers Family Farm twice in last two weeks. What can I say? I adore this place. Assortment of entertainment for kids and adults - amazing! Variety of goods to buy and try - twice amazing. Great place to get out of the city and enjoy your life!

Google
Fun farm and orchard. We especially appreciate the option to receive text alerts when our preferred apple varieties are ripe.😍 Lots of activities and choices for families of all sizes. The farm shop is a fun experience all by itself. So many foods, treats, and treasures.

Google
Definitely a great family outing. Fun for all ages. They have 4 main attractions with a LOT of fun outdoor games to play. My personal favorite is the apple picking fields. You get access to some of the finest apples God has to offer. (A lot of which aren't even available in stores). Very friendly staff. My family and I are never disappointed at this place.

Yelp
Visit Date: Oct. 12, 2024 I'm surprised to see a lower average rating of Kuiper's Farm since my experience with friends was nothing like those that left 1 star reviews. Perhaps I may be a kid at heart and find joy in a place that has plenty of family friendly activities and great eats thats paired with perfect weather. As we entered the farm, there were plenty of traffic coming in and out but this was to be expected. Things went by smoothly and there was an ample amount of parking for my friends and I. No issues there. We then started off our trip by eating at their "Farmhouse Kitchen". I got myself their Pit Master sandwich, their country potato salad, and the smoked Gouda Mac and cheese. The wait was long but was worthwhile because they were all delicious! The sandwich was well seasoned with good sauces, the potato salad was tangy, rich, and creamy, while the Mac and cheese just slaps! Love it! After feeding ourselves, we continued to explore the farm, plenty of opportunities to pet their lovely animals, watch some piggies race, and do more activities. We enjoyed both of their Horror Walk (inside and out) and we particularly had a blast with their apple cannons! (There is an extra fee for the apple launchers by the way). We ended our trip by trying out some sample apple slices and their cider, which had the perfect blend of freshness, tanginess, and sweetness by the way. And yes, I bought a bottle of it! I also bought myself a bag of kettle corn popcorn, which did not disappoint! It wasn't overly sweetened unlike other family farms around the state as well. Overall, my time with friends was spectacular and concluded that Kuiper's Farm is worth the drive. If you'd like to save some money however, I'd visit during the week as tickets are cheaper! Thanks for coming along, John C.

Yelp
This farm offers a wide range of engaging activities, fun attractions, various pantry items & breathtaking hilly views, making it an ideal destination for a fun day out. The picturesque surroundings provide numerous opportunities for stunning photographs! I've inserted some photos I took during Tulip Fest in early May. Admission fees are slightly lower on weekdays than on weekends, reflecting the availability of weekend-only entertainment options. The farm is vast, well-maintained & thoughtfully designed with conveniently located facilities, including porta-johns & hand wash stations, also areas for feeding with farm animals. Even during busy weekends with families & small children, visitors can still find peaceful spots to enjoy moments of solitude. Diverse food options, such as food trucks, concessions, a farmyard bar, a farmhouse kitchen, orchard shops & a smokehouse and grill, ensuring that no one ever gets hungry during their visit!

Yelp
I don't know how this place can have an average of 3 stars. 10/10 would recommend this place for kids. I was here for the first time while they had the dinosaurs on exhibit. They had so much to do: A big obstacle course, huge slides to go down, tires to climb. My 4 year old son had a blast! The jumping pillow was a couple dollars extra, but definitely worth it! There are a ton of animals, and you can feed most of them through tubes that go into their cages. Even without the dinosaurs, we would have had a blast. But the dinosaur aspect was very well done! A walkway with a dozen different kinds of dinosaurs, people in big dinosaur costumes posing for pictures, fossil dig, baby dinosaurs to pet. It was awesome for my dino- loving kid. We had lunch at the Smoke House Grill. I had the Cherry bomb brisket sandwich, which was really tasty. The only downside was this place is in the middle of nowhere. We thought about dropping in for lunch nearby, but there's not much around. They had food trucks, concessions, and the grill though, so it wasn't an issue. Also the only bathrooms are port-a-potties.

Yelp
I love this place! I've been to their tulip fest & fall fest. I've enjoyed both. They have alot of fun attractions, good food, and a bar!

Yelp
My wife worked for Kim & Wade for several years when we lived in the area. Since then, their sons have taken over the business and it remains an awesome destination for not only school field trips from Chicagoland but also wedding venues and just a unique spot to pick pumpkins & apples, grab a hard cider or check out the corn maze! Shout out to Cheryl H and her team that runs the gift shop. Whenever we go back to Kaneland and Elburn we make sure to stop by for popcorn, apples, fudge and donuts!

Yelp
Recently came for the Tulip Fest with my bff and our kids. It wasn't too crowded and there were tons to do! They had a huge checkers game, big playground, tether ball and so much more! Really nice games for younger kids. Tulips were so beautiful!! They had a lot of nice fields and a good variety of colors. Unfortunately, it started raining within about 30 mins after we got there It started to get chilly too so we had to leave but we did have fun while we were there! Looking forward to coming back for a pumpkin patch!

Yelp
It was my first time visiting Kuipers Farm after Halloween, and I didn't feel overwhelmed by the crowds. I came here for only two things: handmade cheddar bacon flavor popcorn and donuts. It's become something of a tradition for me. From handcrafted sweets to snacks and alcoholic beverages, this farm has it all. Seasonal home decor is also available. The staff members are pleasant and made me feel welcome when I visited the facility, which is properly maintained and clean. I had a good time coming here, and it's worth the travel until next year.

Kay N.

Yelp
Your mini apple pies are horrible. Overall very dry with underbaked doughy crust. 1 star.
google avatar

Katie N.

Yelp
Came for Tulip fest on a Saturday afternoon. It was nice and spread out. There were activities, tulips, and farm animals. They sell hard ciders, beer, and wine that you are able to walk around the farm enjoying. I spent about an hour here and enjoyed my experience.

Yelp
Our first time here in 6-7 years? When we went the first time it was cute, I discovered my love of pumpkin patches but the Kuipers I went to yesterday was an ADVENTURE FARM. They have added so much, giant slides, tractors you can sit on, an obstacle course and jumping balloon thing. The dinosaur show was awesome, kudos to that lady for tights under her shorts it was very very hot yesterday. My daughter loved the photo opp egg. I wish you could buy dinosaurs but it's okay. They sell wine and cider!! It was amazing we will be back in the fall!

Yelp
This trip wasn't the best. Started off with almost 100 dollar admission, kids running around like crazy and cutting or at least trying to cut lines and make everything a lot more dangerous. Many lines for everything, but I guess it's a kids park so of course. However, the main reason why I have this place 1 star is because of the apple cider. Tastes delicious, but the aftermath is bad. I am currently writing this review in bed, as I am shaking, feeling nauseous, dizzy and having a 107 bpm heart rate. I am going to go to the ER probably. I know it was the apple cider because I didn't have anything to eat or drink besides that. I wanted to enjoy this, but sadly not.

Ashley B.

Yelp
45 mins to get a hot dog. If you plan on coming don't planning on eating here. This was not even on the weekend. What a sham.
google avatar

Jessica M.

Yelp
We went during the dinosaur farm after seeing it on a billboard and hearing many great things regarding Kuipers farm in general! Plenty of activities for the kids but wish there was a little bit more. Regardless I will be visiting again during fall when the pumpkin patch and maze are up!

Yelp
Original Review: I was planning to have my son's birthday party here, but was a little hesitant since we cannot bring outside food or a birthday cake. I spoke to the event coordinator Sam and told her that I would consider and call her back if I wanted to proceed. I've called multiple times and left multiple messages and have not heard back since. I think it's a little rude and unprofessional that I would not get a call back after I told her in a message that I wanted to proceed with the party. I was planning on bringing around 25 guests and we were going to spend about $1000 with admission, food and drinks. Unreal! Response: Hi Sam, I guess I should have reached out via Yelp initially, since it took you less time to respond here. We spoke on Monday which obviously exceeds the "48 hours" you're referring to, but who's counting. Nonetheless, I appreciate your quick reply to my review. And yes, we will find the PERFECT place for our son as you made it clear that we are not welcomed at Kuipers family farm.

Dave B.

Yelp
Fun experience with lost of activities, corn maze, and much more, mostly for younger kids or young of heart.

Bree E.

Yelp
I love this place but holy sh*t, get some more benches!!!!! One table for an entire play area is not ok! People are sitting in mulch. Also some tables with umbrellas! It's the end of oct but it's hot and sunny and there's not enough shade!
google avatar

Bailey P.

Yelp
I came to visit their sunflower patch and walked away with so many cute pictures! I was lucky enough to visit on a weekday afternoon so the place was basically empty. It was perfect since I didn't feel rushed or have to worry about strangers in the background of my pictures. The sunflower field is pretty large and included a smaller field of zinnias. There are plenty of photo ops (fences, bikes, tractors, etc.). Admission also included one flower to cut and take home! Kuiper's also has a pretty extensive gift shop with a bunch of seasonal trinkets and baked goods!

alexis a.

Yelp
Very beautiful, great experience. There were lots of activities for kids and even live music. I really recommend coming here if you love the outdoors. There were lots of parking spots and it was really easy to get in and out, that's usually a problem with most farms we have been. There only issue was the bathrooms, there was a huge line and only four port-a potty's. Lots of different options for food, great prices and speedy service. Everyone was really nice and welcoming. If you like taking pictures definitely come here.

Komal P.

Yelp
Best apple picking experience!! Loved the kettle pop popcorn!! Beautiful photo ops spots!!
google avatar

Rita B.

Yelp
This is such an amazing beautiful place. We were there for the tulip fest but will see ourselves back again because of all the kid play areas, from a huge slide to a ninja course, duck races to a playground to a race kart area all included in the price and more We will be back ! Highly recommend that you visit with your family
google avatar

Deb D.

Yelp
We had a girls day out to pick apples, visit the outdoor beverage area, and pick up holiday goodies in their huge shop. Apple picking was a slog, but the end results were excellent. We visited on a Sunday, and it was absolutely packed. Understandably, this is a seasonal business and very family-oriented. We had a great time on our visit, logistically washroom facilities were just ok. The port-a-potties needed some TLC. We will return on a weekday afternoon to avoid the kids and crowds.

Michael T.

Yelp
Lots of fun. Did not go to the activities - amusement park area, though it looked surprisingly fun. I think there is something for everyone here. There are plenty of activities for kids, as well as adults. We bought: cider, caramel apples, apples, donuts, etc., and we were pleased with the quality. (The caramel apples are slightly better than standard, and much better than the mass produced you find at the grocery store.) We found this place by chance while on the way to a farm that sells produce. We were extremely shocked to see such a large and well-developed tourist attraction in the middle of the corn fields. I suggest you look them up online and see which events might make it worth your while (pumpkin patch, apple picking, tulips etc.), then plan a trip around that. It is a very pleasant place for something different to do. And even in the middle of the week, it seemed to be busy.
google avatar

Alana S.

Yelp
For roughly around $20 for the pumpkin part of the farm, it felt like one big playground. You can pick one pumpkin from their "field" which was just a big grass patch with small pumpkins as they had people forklift boxes full of pumpkins to pick out of. Just remember to hang on to that pumpkin ticket that allows you to take your pumpkin on your way out! They had a few food trucks but the lines were so incredibly long to get food. They do have very good homemade cider and did bring a few cans home, the berry hard cider was my favorite. They had pig racing which was actually quite entertaining. The corn maze was something fun to pass the time, and had corny jokes all throughout. Felt like a standard farm for a fall day.

Yelp
Wow very beautiful place to come and do the apple picking. I truly had a wonderful experience it is so clean and very organized. The gift shop is so cute the doughnut and the Aldo have wine, apple spider fun fun fun

Jamie H.

Yelp
We went to Kuipers Family Farm on a 90 degree sunny day. We brought our own water bottles and not one person was willing to fill them for us. I am a nursing mother & saw more than one pregnant woman on the farm that same day. We paid full admission price, bought lunch & on top of nearly $100 just for that, had to spend $16 on bottled water (& needed more, but were unwilling to soend more). Do yourself a favor & go down the street to Goebbert's Farm. Last time we were there, they filled up our bottles & the activities are similar (if not better!).
google avatar

Yelp
This was a super cute farm/pumpkin patch. It's very geared towards children and families and not a lot for just adult groups. There were corn mazes, haunted houses, big slides, and so much more for the kids to play with and interact with. On a hiking trail the props were very intricate and made the haunted experience more real. It was super well organized and all the attractions were well placed and clean. I would definitely recommend for families.
google avatar

K S.

Yelp
Such a wonderful fall stop with the family! We made a day of apple picking and pumpkin patch fun! So many attractions and things to do for all ages! From corn mazes to haunted trails we had a great day! The negatives: the petting zoo - the calf looked extremely sad and withdrawn! As a vegan, seeing this baby taken from its mother and all alone was heart breaking! He isolated himself under the barn hiding. PLEASE RETURN HIM TO HIS MOTHER! The Apple bags were so tiny it was a bit humorous. The cost of everything is a bit ridiculous. It's definitely touristy. My biggest complaint is the cow :(!

Yelp
We have been going apple picking in the fall at the same place for 30 + years. It was time for a change.....we did some research and decided on Kuipers this year. First off big bonus points for being down the street from Reams Market, a perfect place to stop after. It's a huge palace, apples on one side of the road and pumpkins on the other. We started in the really great store, it was large and had a lot to look at. Apple Cider Donut Beer....yes please. Beer, wine, pies, condiments, holiday stuff, apples, other stuff, it has a bit of everything. I love that on the way from the store to the orchard they have an apple bar where you can sample the different varieties...genius! Like most orchards they have quite a few varieties of apples, including a few that I didn't know. Just past this area they have the pre-picked carts, it was a freezing cold day and our party decided that since we tried apples at the bar they just wanted to do pre pick, so we never made it to the orchard to pick. I can't wait to go back, they have food and a real bar and lots of stuff for families and kids. It is a fall apple wonderland.
google avatar

Don B.

Yelp
What a great place to go with family, kids or on your own. We love going here for apple picking and pumpkins every year. Our kids love all there is to do and the food/beverages are always a great part of our experience. Thanks for being so great.
google avatar

Sofia L.

Yelp
Had our first experience here yesterday - and it was a delight!!! First off it was a nice drive from the city - the farm is PRISTINE!!! Ample parking and a BEAUTIFUL store filled with lots of goodies and particular items to purchase. They even offered apple samples to try prior to picking or buying which is always a huge help when making a selection. We also made a visit to their beautiful sunflower field - such fun and perfect for photo ops!! Across the road they have their pumpkin patch and we bought gourds and pumpkins that are stunning at a really great price!! All the staff were SUPER NICE and helpful - it was a super nice day and we look forward to going back in the future!! I recommend to all!!
google avatar

Josh I.

Yelp
Absolutely loaded with fun family activities. It can get a little pricey to bring a large group, but making a whole day of it makes it totally worthwhile. Kids of pretty much all ages will have something fun to do, and paying a few extra bucks to bring home a pumpkin for each kid will let you extend the day's activities to home when you carve or cook with them. The farm store across the street from the activity area is also a fun walk/shop and it's free. Highly recommend. Donuts and candied apples in the shop are delicious.
google avatar

Britney R.

Yelp
This place is beautiful. They have everything from a sunflower patch, apple picking, and whole pumpkin patch plus some across the street. This place is huge. We went for the apple picking, we had a choice of picking 4 kinds of apple, for $12 per person each person in your party gets 1 bag to fill, roughly about 5/6 apples each bag. Overall great tasty apples. If you enjoy country markets you'd love this one, it start off with the honey/food sections, goes into holiday theme decor then into a beautiful bakery we're you can buy fresh made donut and pies made right there for you, also caramel apples, they also have fudge and a huge selections of apple cider and booze, beer and wine. It's a must see for the perfect fall outing.

Yelp
I came with my friend and her 4 year old daughter to Kuipers family farm for apple picking and pumpkin fun. When we went here, we did not know how much money it was going to be and boy was that a mistake. Honestly, the cost for apple picking is completely insane. There is absolutely no reason it should cost that much money to go and pick your apples than leave. First lets talk about the payment structure. There are two sides: apple picking side and pumpkin side. Both sides cost to get in; however, if you pay for both at the same time you get a discount. The discount is not very much to be completely honest. On the Apple side we didn't pick apples because we just didn't think it was worth it, but we did ride the train. My friends daughter had a blast, but it's $5 to ride in a circle with no real scenery. Although perhaps once their Christmas trees are fully grown in it will be better. On the Pumpkin side they have all the festivities like the popcorn kernel out, the jumping bean, games, playground, etc. This made the trip much more worthwhile. My friends daughter had a lot of fun and I found myself having a pretty good time too. Surprisingly the food is really good. If you go a burger wouldn't disappoint. Overall, if you go, don't go apple picking but go in the pumpkin side. Also, being your kids because it is geared toward them. You will still feel like you paid way too much, but have a decent time.

Karina W.

Yelp
Disappointing. Used to be very enjoyable but now is a money grab. $14 per person to just take pictures near their sunflowers. Apple cider donuts are not fresh and were likely taken out of the freezer from last year. Soggy and gross. Such a bummer.
google avatar

Dee Dee H.

Yelp
We had such a great time at the sunflower fields at Kuiper farms! The sunflowers were HUGE and beautiful. It was also nice that they let us all take a sunflower home, too. It's been a week since our visit and the flowers still look beautiful and fresh in our vase. We also ended up buying a lot of their merchandise and ended up regretting that we didn't buy even more! The hard cider is so good that we are now on the hunt for it at all of our local liquir stores, and even the regular apple cider is so delicious that I wish I could pack my entire fridge with it! The caramel apple was so scrumptious that my husbad declared it the best carmelized apple he has ever had. The bag of apples we bought are also super crisp and juicy beyond any apples we have gotten from the grocery store. We haven't tried the fudge and apple butter yet, but considering the quality of the other goods we already devoured, we are sure they will be delicious too. The only thing lacking from this experience was that the food from their restaurant was lacking in many ways. We ordered the sliders and turkey leg and quite literallly took one bite of each and threw them out. The turkey legs were VERY dry and bland. The sliders too were dry and lacking in flavor. The frozen apple cider was the only thing palatable from the restautant. Also, there were bees EVERYWHERE that immediately attacked our food, and also the cashier didnt seem to really know how to ring up our purchases correctly. Next time we go the Kuiper farms (and we will be back because of how awesome the rest of this establishment was), we will definitely be skipping the restaurant altogether and going all in at the market instead. Yum!

Yelp
We came here to pick sunflowers and it's a very pretty farm near Naperville. The drive was about 25 minutes and it's a really beautiful farm. The train ride is a must for the kids. The sunflowers were gorgeous and we paid extra to take more home. There were red sunflowers as well. We want to come back for the Apple picking and pumpkin fest. My only complaint would be for them to fix their website and VM so it's accurate with timing and links. All of my friends and myself tried to get info from the site and VM and it was wrong.
google avatar

Padma A.

Yelp
We reached there almost before closing and they still wanted us to pay full ticket price to explore the orchard which was a bummer. We checked out the bakery mouth some wine, apples and doughnuts . The gift shop is cute with variety jams and dips.

Anna P.

Yelp
This is the most beautiful and all around well_rounded place for an outdoor, rustic feel type wedding. It's a gorgeous venue, food was great, staff well trained and helpful. Train rides were a hit!
google avatar

Ann A.

Yelp
Poor selection of picked over orchards. Had to wait 45 minutes in line for one person working at the "tree top tap". Close off areas if you cant properly staff. Nobody should wait 35 minutes in line for a beer after paying 15$+ in admission. Get it together before next season Kuipers Farm.
google avatar

Peter R.

Yelp
If you and your family like apple picking, sunflower and a mini train ride, this is the place to go. It's a place for the family, especially kids. The place is nice and neat although they can improve in reinforcing wearing mask and social distancing. I believe it still their duty to remind costumers to avoid conflicts/fights, rather than costumer reminding costumer. As always, wear your mask, bring your sanitizer, keep social distancing. I know America is so divided when it comes to this. Just dont risk it when it comes to your family. You can also follow me on youtube at Allen Marcus travel vlog and review.
google avatar

Rich P.

Yelp
Wow, been a customer for many years but it seems Kuipers has fallen victim to the "Covid Excuse" that's plaguing area business blaming their recent drop in quality on "Covid". I love your donuts and look forward to them every fall, but this year you only have them pre packed becuase of Covid, however mine must have been packed days earlier becuase they were dry and nasty as hell....2 dozen donuts in the trash. Anything to save a buck I guess....Very disappointing To anyone looking forward to their donuts I would just recommend skipping them this year.

Yelp
Sunflower farm was very nice. The entry was $8 and I get one flower to take home. There were variety of sunflowers - smaller, larger, different colors. I would like to go there again next year.

Yelp
My sister got married here in November of 2022. She was nervous about everything going well. We met with the original planner; Nick and he reassured her everything would be fine, he knew details without having to write them down, you could tell he had done this job for quite a while. He knew which guests had allergies and included the use of golf carts to make the trek to the barn easier for all that day. The bride left that meeting beaming as she could sit back and enjoy her dream wedding without having to stress out or run around. Then it was announced that he would be leaving but he reassured us the person replacing him knew what the plans were and that everything would be handed to her and things would go smoothly. We gave this new planner a chance hoping we would still be taken care of as contracts were signed. We were told early on that she would meet with us by july/august. This woman did not meet with or even bother to email the bride until one month before the wedding; she dog talked the person who she replaced after he spoke highly of her; she claimed to have nothing written down and was trying to increase prices and take offers out that were already discussed, agreed and signed. She was hands down the most unprofessional person I have ever worked with; but we still kept quiet and gave her a chance to redeem herself. The wedding was absolutely beautiful; but none of the credit goes to the wedding coordinator at kuipers family farm. The wedding coordinator was absolutely horrible to work with, in fact she was on the phone for an hour when the bride had arrived, she was asked to get tape and wasn't seen after that, so the bridal party had to set up decorations and place cards as the coordinator was no where to be found nor could she be bothered to do anything. She and her assistant were barely seen especially when something was needed, in fact she didn't introduce herself to the groom, or even check on the bride. She was seen for an hour then she couldn't be found until dinner at 6, and even then she was hiding behind the cider coolers. For the money paid to Kuipers for this wedding, we didn't even get mediocre service. The flowers were delivered and there had been a discussion about how they were to be handled while the bride got ready; when they were dropped off the coordinator and her assistant didn't put them in water or tell anyone they had arrived so they were wilting and falling apart. I could understand some of the behavior if the bride's family were being difficult but that was not the case at all. I do not recommend having your wedding here unless you would like to pay a lot of money to do everything yourself. The food was catered and amazing, served buffet style yet the servers couldn't be bothered to keep it warm or properly covered; there were huge flies in salads and the bride's glass of water and the groom's salad had a dead fly in it. The servers were told there was plenty of food yet they gave out very small portions and the parents of the bride (who paid for everything) were told there was so much leftovers, yet those were never seen. Several of the servers were rude or gave attitude to guests and one guest overheard a server call the grandmother of the bride a b@&$#. Prior to all of this we had been told we were going to be helped by this new coordinator and to not worry as she had it all under control; yet she could not be bothered to assist with anything throughout the day. We were assured that there would be golf carts when we arrived to lessen the long walk in especially since two people in the wedding were handicapped and that guests could count on this service since it's a long walk up to the barn; however not a single golf cart was out that entire day, to the great disappointment of the older and handicapped guests. After the October meeting, the new coordinator was rather difficult to work with, I would say the behavior and attitude she and her staff had that day was in retaliation to asking one of the senior kuipers to join that meeting to smooth details out. Through none of this were the bride or her family rude or disrespectful, yet the bride had the most stressful day which could have been resolved with someone with more experience and professionalism. To be frank, this wedding was only beautiful because the people in the wedding knew how to throw parties, and the barn was beautiful; I would not recommend a kuipers wedding to my worst enemy. No one deserves to deal with the total lack of professionalism and nasty behaviors and attitudes of the coordinator and her staff. To see the bride so upset to the point of tears when she had been reassured many times she could relax and enjoy her day, only to be running around and stressing out while the planner was MIA is completely inexcusable. If kuipers had their original wedding planner back, then I would consider ever going through them again. Unfortunately for now Kuiper's has left a bad taste in our mouths.

Yelp
This is our third time at Kuipers, and up and until this visit we have enjoyed ourselves. Read other people's reviews as the experiences all seem to be the same this year. If you are coming here w/your children then there are plenty of activities, however if you are looking an enjoy a fun fall day of picking pumpkins, don't waste your money! All the pumpkins are in bins and have already been picked, let alone they are extremely picked over with barely any medium/large pumpkins remaining. Quite a disappointment, we won't be coming back.

Yelp
My family absolutely loves this pumpkin farm! (There is also an orchard across the street but this review is for the pumpkin side.) lots and lots of activities. Food, cider (although they ran out of cider donuts when we were there... ). Pig races - yes, pig races. And, of course, pumpkins! You can go out into the field to get your own or just buy from the store. Super friendly employees. Great fall fun for the whole family

Yelp
We accidentally bought week day tickets but came early on a Saturday morning. We offered to pay the difference ($3!!) but the ticket person said no. We would have to buy another ticket, the weekend one. We did that because we were there with kids but this is a ridiculous policy that should be changed. A complete lack of understanding and a rip off!!!

Yelp
We went to their pumpkin festival. There were plenty of activities for all ages. The activities were nicely spaced out so it never felt crowded or rushed to move on. Part of the adult ticket included picking a pumpkin. What they do not tell you is that the part of the entry ticket you keep is what allows you to leave the facility with a pumpkin so hang on to that ticket. I picked one of the smallest pumpkins available and was not allowed to take it because I did not keep my ticket. The woman checking tickets was rude and simply said she only works there. She indicated that I could have gone to the parking lot with a pumpkin already, came back in and now I was trying to take another one, probably worth 50 cents. So my diabolical plan to drive 45 miles , pay 19.00, (93.00 total for our entire party) to steal a pumpkin was not successful. Darn!

Yelp
We went on a weekday. Admission was about $40 for an adult, a child, and two seniors. It included 3 pumpkins but you couldn't pick them from the field, you had to pick them from a crate. The farm is cute and walkable. We spent about 3 hours there. The focus is on entertainment/outdoor activities, not actual pumpkin/apple picking. I was disappointed that apple picking is not even available on weekdays - this should have been specified on the website. Still, it's a family friendly experience, and my 6y old had a great time. He especially enjoyed feeding the goats (you are divided from the animals by a fence at all times), seeing the piglets, dragging a radio flyer with pumpkins through the farm, riding the little tractor train, going down the slide in a potato sack, riding a big tri-cycle, and jumping on the yellow pillow with his grandparents. From what I could tell, most of the kids there were about his age. The staff was friendly. Most people (including kids) were wearing masks, there were sanitation stations and water stations near the animals (not throughout the park), and it was easy to maintain physical distance from others most of the time. All of the food/drink stands appeared to be closed. But I also noticed they have dedicated nursing stations which to me indicated they tried to go above and beyond for families. In conclusion, it was a great outdoor activity for a beautiful fall day but next time I would pick a place where apple/pumpkin picking is the focus and maybe come here afterwards, if there's time.

Yelp
Disclaimer: I'm visiting from out of state where we don't have apple orchards. Now that I've gotten this out of the way, I think it's worth mentioning that I felt Kuiper Farms was worth the visit for myself and my 9 year old daughter. I researched online that you could pay $11/person to pick a bag of 1/4 peck (about 2-3lbs of apples) so I was sold. The apple orchard is opposite from the pumpkin patch- had we had more time, we would have visited there. But remember, we are coming from an area that doesn't have apple orchards. We came on a late Friday afternoon where it had been previously raining earlier in the day so it wasn't busy by the time we got there (a little after 4pm). We were advised that the apples we could pick for the day were Ida Red and Braeburn. There were cones that directed us to the path where we would walk and they placed flags as markers to indicate which row of trees to pick. My daughter and I actually chose to walk the opposite direction so we could read/see all the different varieties of other apples in the orchard before we got to the designated Ida Red and Braeburn rows. My kid was so excited and loved every minute of trying to find and pick the perfect apple to place in her bag. We wore our masks the whole time and only took them off outside for photo ops. We felt comfortable that there was adequate room to socially distance. We did go inside the shop to specifically buy apple cider donuts, a caramel apple, and apple cider. There was the usual gift shop souvenirs you could purchase in addition to fudge, apple pies, apple bread, bags of just about any apple variety, apple cider and more. My daughter and I enjoyed our outing and would gladly return and recommend it to friends.
