We tried them out early on in our trip and knew we were going to come back for sure! We tried the Carmel cream puff first and it was a winner! Had a very nice Carmel flavor and was not too sweet. We then went back for the diamond head chocolate cream puff and it was great too! (Carmel was my favorite.) Both shells were crispy and well cooked. These cream puffs were also really big and worth every penny. Would totally recommend for a sweet treat or snack!

Most probably one of the best ice cream parlours in Honolulu. The taste is great and price very reasonable. The staff are superb with fast service.

Reviewing this bakery, it stands out for its authentic matcha roll cakes and Japanese-style bread, bringing joy and sweetness to customers. Personal favorites include the Strawberry Short Cake, Kona, and Matcha roll cakes, along with delightful offerings like the Caramel and Diamond Head cream puffs. While it falls above average, it doesn't quite surpass the exceptional Japanese bakeries I've experienced in Japan. There's a slight concern about the use of color in some baked goods, like the turtle cream puffs. While they look cute, they might pose a bit of a challenge for some customers to try.

A few weeks before we arrived in Honolulu I ordered a special hello Kitty strawberry shortcake for my daughter’s birthday. Their ordering site was easy to navigate and I didn’t have any trouble at all completing my order. The cake was very cute and nicely decorated. The cake itself was nice and light, strawberry’s were fresh and the cream wasn’t too heavy. Overall we enjoyed the cake and it was suitable for our palette. We went back to kulu kulu to try their tiramisu, rainbow cake, turtle and bear cream puffs. Those were decent but a bit too sweet for our preference. I would highly recommend the strawberry shortcake.

I forgot to take a photo before i started eating it lol. I got the ube/vanilla and my husband got the caramel macadmia nut one. SOOOOO good, the only complaint would be the caramel was a little bitter. However the service was amazing and the ice cream was flavorful! Im a huge dessert foodie and definitely recommend this place.

I visited two times. Tried the caramel cream puff, the regular, the strawberry shortcake, and the soufflé cheesecake. Their cream here is really smooth and mildly sweet, which makes their cream puffs my favorite part of each visit.

We tried these on our trip to Hawaii! They are amazing in everything they make. So good, just the right amount of sugar and so so presentable. Priced right too. Must try!
