Where To Have A Big Night Out After Cooking At Home For Months

"You have two options at Hinoka Sushiko, a new Japanese restaurant in the Elston Corridor from the chef of Kyoten. The first is the 15-course $125 omakase, which takes place on the second floor and requires reservations. The second is checking out the first-floor izakaya, which is more casual and seated on a first-come-first-served basis. There you can drink Japanese whisky and sake, and order bar snacks like gyoza and karaage. Plus, it’s dark, there’s a DJ, and, if you haven’t gone out in a hundred years, it might remind you that you can’t dance." - adrian kane

The fish was perfectly in season, with each piece showcasing incredible freshness and delicate flavors. The chef was not only highly skilled but also very friendly, taking the time to explain each course and the story behind the ingredients The combination of great food, beautiful presentation, and warm service made for a memorable experience. 🫶🏻

Try it while they are relatively new and affordable… We went early thinking this place was going to be the typical case of the new Japanese in town hyped and packed… also, to take advantage of the happy hour. As a former Asia resident and total freak of Japan and their cuisine, I must say they did a good job here. Place was surprisingly empty, staff were friendly and food was fair. Well presented, good quality and fair price. I can see (and hope for them) this place becoming so popular that one day prices are off the charts and it’s impossible to get a reservation here. Meanwhile, I will come back while crowds are not invading them and eating here is still relatively reasonable for what you get. So yeah, 5 stars for an overall great Japanese experience and we will definitely be back!!

Google
Great service paired with very affordable sushi options for the size of the portions, and you can't go wrong with a sake flight! I hope more people come here, we came on a Thursday and we were the only people in there at 8p which was sad given how good everything was. Our server was so nice and all of the food came out quickly. Apps: -We started with the Wings and Gyoza and both were fine Sushi: -We did the windy city and Hi Jack and we loved both of them and the rolls were huge! Drinks: -$25 for Sake flight is great! We will def come back but I hope more people start to support them.

Tucked away in Lincoln Park, Kyoku Sushi offers a delightful and multifaceted dining experience. Whether you're a seasoned sushi veteran or a curious newcomer, Kyoku has something to satisfy your cravings. Kyoku prioritizes using the freshest, seasonal ingredients. This dedication to quality shows in every bite, from the melt-in-your-mouth sashimi to the perfectly seasoned sushi rice. Omakase or A La Carte? You Decide: Kyoku caters to both omakase enthusiasts and those who prefer to choose their own culinary adventure. The Omakase Experience: For a curated exploration of Kyoku's finest offerings, their omakase is a fantastic option. The restaurant's elegant decor impresses , complemented by attentive service. The artful presentation and the fresh, delightful sushi stand out, marrying traditional and innovative flavors beautifully. Moreover, the pricing is fair, making for an excellent dining experience that promises both quality and value. Highly recommended.

Google
KYOKU is the sister restaurant to Raisu in Irving Park, and it more than lives up to expectations. The presentation, the taste, and the ambience makes for a spectacular eating experience. I’m not a guy who really cares about the way the food looks, but even I paused to appreciate how darn pretty it all was. As great as it was to look at, it was even better to taste. KYOKU does an amazing job of highlighting the unique flavors and textures of each type of fish, and the rice, seaweed and variety of toppings complement the fish wonderfully. An impressive spot to share with a spouse, partner, friend, or yourself. Strong 5.

Google
Kyoku Sushi is fantastic. Such a classy and upscale sushi restaurant in Lincoln Park. Loved the interiors and everything is tastefully done. It was my first time here and it definitely is not my last. Will be back again. The menu has a nice selection of sashimi, nigiri , sushi's and more. The food is beautifully presented and tastes amazing. It's all freshly prepared and will blow you away with the taste and texture. We had the Gyoza, The 9, Windy City, Hi Jack, Black Widow, Scallops, Golden Crunchy Rice and Mochi Box. I would recommend them all .

Google
A little more in-line with your upscale sushi spots - definitely no Juno but a nice step up from your weekday spot. And Kyoku has a reasonably priced Omakase experience. We ordered a la carte, but did try the sake flight. Everything was fresh & delicious. The service was great and the place was as inviting as it has been for the last 3 concepts - very little has been changed to the interior since it was a steak joint.

Yelp
Great sushi place in Lincoln Park! Stopped in for a quick bite before a show this weekend and really enjoyed the atmosphere, it's upscale but cozy. The service was friendly and quick! The quality of food was top notch at a reasonable price. I started off with the crunchy rice that was deliciously prepared and the perfect amount of food before having one of their specialty rolls, which are very filling. I ordered the black widow which incorporated a variety of textures and colors and the flavors were very complimentary. The roll was very satisfactory and filling.
google avatar

Adaora O.

Yelp
The rolls were absolutely BEAUTIFUL! A little on the expensive side for sushi I will say, but if you're okay with a small splurge time to time, the taste of the rolls were great and I loved the variety in speciality rolls. Nonetheless, you could probably also go with the more simple rolls and like them just as much here Really pretty bar to sit at as well, I enjoyed the service and will definitely try again!

Yelp
Fantastic spot for an omakase experience! My friends and I went to celebrate 3 of their birthdays. The space inside is so airy and beautiful with lots of wooden elements. The chef did a wonderful job presenting us with the types of fish he was going to be using in our omakase, explain what will happen, ans started the show. The service was so quick and on top of filling up our drinks, clearing our dishes, and taking away extra glassware. The oyster was a refreshing start to the meal, hotate, chu toro, and ell were a stand-out for me. We also ordered sake flights and they were strong with lots of flavor. The best part of the night was taking rounds of shots with the chef here and there throughout our dining experience which was so fun! The prices were pretty steep for omakase including the sake flight, a total of $245. Highly recommend to try!

Yelp
Two months later and this restaurant is still up there on our sushi to compare everyone else to. Amazing ambiance, great service and superb sushi options. We feasted on: Crispy Rice starter Eel sushim Squid sushimi 3 one 2 roll A5 Wagyu sushimi Seriously, just eat here. It's amazing.

Yelp
I had decided to make a quick Chicago trip and this restaurant kept coming up as #1 or #2 on so many top ten lists that I decided I had to at least eat lunch here. I am so happy that I did! This sushi was literally phenomenal. I am sorry but besides the A5, the o-toro, the Hokkaido Scallop, and the Hokkaido Uni, I lost track of what all I consumed. I am a total sushi snob and this place literally blew me away. Now I did have to hand the obviously Americanized menu back to the waiter and tell him no I am sorry but I need the Japanese menu and better yet just keep bringing us the real thing until we tap out. He fulfilled my wish completely. Perfect service and the waiter crafted a perfect over the top lunch for us. The space is modern and has a great ambiance and open floor plan but yet still manages to capture some of the traditional sushi bar feel you get when in Japan. I will return every time I am in Chicago.

Yelp
Fresh, quality sushi with a great wine or cocktail selection. Very attentive service and moody atmosphere.

Yelp
I'm not a raw fish kind of guy. This place I made an exception and I was not disappointed. The freshest fish you'll taste. There's no odor when it comes to the fish. Highly recommended if you like raw fish. Service was amazing. She got our drinks in quickly and stop by every 2-3 mins to check up on us:

Yelp
This is a more upscale sushi spot that has a really nice ambience. The staff is friendly and will patiently walk you through any questions. As for the food itself, I enjoyed the nigiri pieces (the tuna ones being my fav) and the presentation helped me appreciate each piece (and not think too much about the price). The sushi roll was also really good but nothing particularly special on that part. I will say it took a considerable amount of time for the food to come out so I would avoid if you're in a hurry or really hungry - this spot is more for a slow romantic dinner honestly.

Yelp
Came in to celebrate a birthday and got: - The 9: 9:/10 - loved the variety and a good sampler dish - everything tasted fresh - Spider maki: 7/10 - loved that it had tempura softshell crab in it - tasted good but also tastes like any other roll in my opinion - Smoke salmon nigiri: 8/10 - as someone who doesnt typically love raw fish this tasted delicious and was one of my favorited - Golden crunchy rice: 8.5/10 - flavorful and perfectly crunchy - the rice stuck to my teeth which i didnt love but thats just personal preference - Wagyu nigiri: 10/10 - the favorite among all of us, so flavorful and delicious - lightly salted to perfection Overall: 10/10 The place itself is so nice and had a great atmosphere. The staff were all kind and even offered to take photos of us before we left. Since we came for a birthday, they gave the birthday girl a complimentary dessert that was delicious! Everything was aesthetic and picturesque on top of being delicious. We enjoyed our night there and would definitely come back to try more things!

Yelp
Loved it! The ambiance is so bougie, luxurious, and clean. The servers were great and loved our big group. Crispy Rice: This was ok. I wish the the rice had more flavor and more crisp. Uni Don: MY FAVE. Uni is hard to catch but they had an uni rice bowl with multiple pieces of uni topped with salmon roe for $25 which I think is a pretty good deal. Their fish quality is also pretty good! We wanted sake bombs which they didn't have on the menu but they accommodated still

Yelp
Very nice spot in LP for cocktails, appetizers and fresh seafood, sushi, sashimi, maki. Nice presentations. Friendly welcoming service. Nice bar. Good vibe in dining room. The calamari, seaweed salad, edamame, tempura, entrees all flavorful. Reasonable prices. Will be back

Yelp
I've been looking forward to this reservation for the past few weeks, but was instead met with the worst restaurant/omakase experience I've had to date. To give you an idea of how poor the meal was, my family and I walked out halfway through. I am honestly so sad I have to write this review, but the discrepancies between the photos I've seen on Yelp/video reviews I saw on TikTok that swayed me to come here on my trip to Chicago were shocking. The aftertaste of all the nigiri pieces I had (snapper, amberjack, akami) were very fishy, and the cuts we were given were small, messily cut, and some were even ripped (see my photo). Given the $145 price tag, it was frankly insulting. I expressed my concerns about the rip and the very fishy aftertaste to the chef, who left the bar to taste it and returned to say it was normal, and how it was supposed to taste. We move onto the next course and he gives my mom *another* ripped piece of sashimi despite our previous complaints. A reasonable explanation is that they had to change chefs, and it kind of seemed like this guy didn't know what he was doing (ie: he was moving at a very slow pace, and we asked how long the restaurant has been open and he said 7 months, but according to yelp, it has been 9). There was no liquid nitrogen presentation, no toro, and no properly cut pieces during our meal like I saw in the reviews. This is the first time I've had to walk out of a restaurant, so please beware!

Yelp
Easily the best Japanese joint in this neighborhood , one of the best in the city. Super fresh selection of nigiri and sashimi, and options few other Chicago sushi places offer, including an excellent Omakase...if you don't want to have that personal and pricey experience , there are beautifully prepared choices( Kyoku Signature...the Eight or Nine ) that use many of the Omakase high end fishies, at half the price on the regular menu . OPEN for lunch.....they never seem to be overly busy and probably could use your attendance....so go there and support a place that deserves your attention .
google avatar

Yelp
Quality of sushi is very fresh. Ambience great for conversation. Service was good however did not have tea pots for the table and true Japanese tea.
google avatar

Serg D.

Yelp
The $25 lunch special was delightful! For our rolls, we selected the negi hama and the sixth samurai - both were beautifully balanced and fresh! In terms of nigiri, we got super white tuna, salmon, and something else I can't remember. We also got uni nigiri and it was divine! Service was attentive and quick, and the atmosphere was hip and modern. Overall, a lovely midday treat!

Yelp
came back for omakase and a celebration and the food was absolutely wonderful as always!! So much variety and EVERY maki is so delicious. Highly recommend the botan ebi!!!!

Yelp
This hidden gem tucked away in the heart of Lincoln park the elegant and intimate ambiance sets the stage for an unforgettable evening. Shout out to Chef win who offers a unique culinary experience where the chef curates a series of dishes based on the freshest ingredients available that day. One standout dish was the Hokkaido Uni (sea urchin)served on Ika. The creamy richness of the Uni goes really well with Ika unexpectedly which normally I don't eat Ika at all. Also you shouldn't miss the Hokkaido scallop topped with garlic sauce and caviar this thing melts slowly in my mouth. The service throughout the meal was impeccable. Our waitress Nicole gave us a very good recommendation for wine to pair up with the meal. I can tell that the experience here is worth every penny. Everyone here is so friendly. Will definitely be back !!
google avatar

Nichole X.

Yelp
We ordered a delivery for 4 rolls and 2 nigiri: Black Widow, Hi Jack, Spider Maki, The Windy City (Raw), Unagi and Botan Ebi. The sushi rice was fantastic, but the rolls themselves didn't stand out... The sushi rice was one of the best, if not the best, one I've had in Chicago. They have the perfect texture - stickiness and softness. However, given the price, the roll itself wasn't as good as I expected. The ratio of the ingredients was a little off - one roll had too much cream cheese... Maybe dining in will be a totally different experience.

Yelp
Love love love. So we went here as a spur of the moment decision-we we're starving at 5:30! Lol. And we were so glad we did! The ambiance is so pretty and elevated-but not snooty! But more importantly the food was great! We had the golden crispy rice to start which was awesome, the three 1 two roll, black widow, and the Windy City rolls! So good! I've heard the omasake is great there! And that is next on our list for sure! Go check it out!
google avatar

Yelp
Ridiculously underappreciated. It not just that it's good, but I had a dozen previously unexperienced tastes. Just go!

Gregory K.

Yelp
Great Sushi, one of the best in the city by far. The price is fair and the Service is very good also.
google avatar

Cara K.

Yelp
Great date night spot. A bit slow service and a bit pricey but good food and ambience overall. Street parking was available on a Friday night so that was great.
google avatar

Asma M.

Yelp
I have been going to Kyoku's sister restaurant, Raisu, pretty much weekly for years so when we found out they opened this place we had to check it out - and it did not disappoint! The restaurant itself is very clean and modern and service was on point as always. The menu is very similar to Raisu but there are some differences too. There were 4 of us and we ordered edamame, signature sashimi/nigiri - yellowtail, toro and uni - then the omega, tornado and black widow rolls and we closed out with the hot stone wagyu. Everything was phenomenal. The price all in was about $360 which is pricey for sushi but $100 was just on the wagyu, expensive but definitely worth fhe splurge. If you live in the area, add this place to your rotation!
google avatar

Chris F.

Yelp
Very nice ambiance. Chef Win did a fantastic job preparing the 15 course omakase with sake pairing. The owner was very funny and chatted with us. I am surprise the restaurant wasn't full on a Friday night. Definitely come here for the omakase experience.
google avatar

Chandrika R.

Yelp
Went for a solo dinner on Saturday night and had the omakase. It was delicious! I also had Yuzu sake, which was amazing and potent! The service was friendly and efficient. The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous too! I wasn't full so I ordered the crispy rice appetizer which I highly recommend!
google avatar

Claudia F.

Yelp
Bad Customer service! The waitresses were making us feel rushed and gave me my check before even being asked if we wanted dessert. It's not a cheap spot and for the prices the customer service lacks severely. Very pretty decor but left me feeling robbed and rushed!
google avatar

Athena B.

Yelp
Unbelievable omakase experience. Came here for my birthday and was not disappointed. Really cool they show you a box of all the fish you'll be served before you begin. Every course was so innovative, perfect textures and flavors combined with so much thought. We got a few extras at the end and the chef really took care of us. Highly recommend for a special occasion!

Benjamin G.

Yelp
The sushi here is so fresh it's almost live kill good. The bento boxes are a nice touch but, I like my choice of Nigiri and Rolls. I've tried all the special rolls here tops for me are the Philadelphia roll, the hot Spicy Tuna roll and the eel roll ( not the name, just the taste) I like the delicate fried crab too. The Che chefs must hand sharpen their knives everyday because the Sashimi (when I'm in the mood) always looks beautiful. Mostly I like Nigiri saturated in Wasabi and soy. Get the Sea Bass when you can but there's nothing like fresh Tuna or Marguo. The eel is somewhat cooked but oh so delicious. All in all Sushi is usually very expensive and this matches up with all of them. The Sushi chefs are well trained and nothing beats the quality here! My only reason for not giving all 5 stars is the price point.
google avatar

Diana M.

Yelp
Nigiri, sashimi and maki were all fresh and delicious. My favorite by far was the scallop in sashimi form and atop a maki. It was some of the creamiest scallop I've had. Tempura appetizer comes fried in a light and crispy coating. Unfortunately, they were out of their sweet shrimp when I went, which is understandable considering they're in their soft opening phase, but I would love to return and try it out. The restaurant is spacious enough to accommodate large parties (we had a party of 11) with ample street parking.
google avatar

Erika P.

Yelp
Best sushi place I've EVER been to. I don't think I've ever had sushi this fresh before! Presentation, menu, staff, and atmosphere are all excellent. We also got the Wagyu slices which you grill over a hot stone--a bit pricey but TOTALLY worth it! Definitely coming back, especially with people from out of town! :-)
google avatar

Maria M.

Yelp
Hands down best sushi I had in my life! I didn't even need to use soy sauce since each piece was so flavorful. The ratio of rice used was perfect. The uni was wonderful. It melted right in my mouth. My favorite roll was the three one two. We finished out with the Waygu nigiri. We sat at the sushi bar and watched the sushi chef prepared our meal. The server was very attentive. We always had our water filled and our table was always cleared once we were done. It's a cute and modern restaurant. The bathroom is very tidy as well.

Yelp
Japanese omakase at Chicago Lincoln Park .The worst experience ever. With all the good reViews and pictures of sushi. We were here 8pm Thursday nite July 13. We had to wait 15 minutes for two other party we didn't know to show up to begin our dinner. We asked the sushi chef how long the restaurant was opened and how much experience he has. He said that the restaurant is opened 7 months and he has about 5 years of experience. All the sushi pieces are pre cut and put on the tray. The size of fish were uneven and small and we got pieces where it was cutten off at the end. I never had any sushi which was cutten off. Also, most of pieces had bad after taste. We told these problems to the sushi chef but he did not and would not amend or address these issues. We talked to manager/ partial owner and he apologized to us but we couldn't finish our meal and left the restaurant. I think they recently changed the chef. Do not go here, it will be waste of your time and money. The cost is $145 per person. Not worth it.
google avatar

Tracy N.

Yelp
My sister and I chose this place for dinner based on their reviews and photos of their menu items. Service was friendly and timely. We ordered the Sashimi Night with the Tornado Roll and the Nigiri Night with the Three One Two Roll. We were starving from our 3hr drive and it was the perfect amount of food. We also got the Yuzu Sake. The food & drinks were delicious, restaurant was clean, and ambiance was great.
google avatar

Yelp
Went here to celebrate our wedding and the food and service was awesome! We had the omakase and we loved how their nigiri had some unique fish that we've never tried before! The ambiance is very chill and it's a nice place for a date!

Yelp
If you love sushi you MUST TRY this place!! We went on a Wednesday night and there was no wait. The service and food was top notch!! We got seated in the high chairs. The ambiance was calm and classy. The restaurant and the food was beautifully decorated. Starter: Golden Crunchy Rice 10/10 - The rice was sooo crispy, the tuna was very fresh, it had just the right amount of sauce, and the flavors meshed really well together. Main dish: The 9 10/10 - This was sooo good. Every single piece of nigiri was delicious and the fish was super fresh and melted in our mouths. My top 3 favorites were the wagyu, hon maguro (bluefin tuna), and the Suzuki (sea bass). The pieces we got from left to right, Ika (squid), Suzuki (sea bass), Sake (salmon), Hon maguro (bluefin tuna), Wagyu, Uni (sea urchin), Scallop, Hamachi (yellow tail), and Unagi (eel). Kyoku Special 10/10 - I loved the crunchiness of the shrimp tempura and the creaminess of the avocado. I preferred this roll over The Windy City just because I love shrimp tempura rolls but both were good. The Windy City 9/10 - I enjoyed the spicy kick to this roll. The tuna was also very tasty. Overall this is one of my favorite sushi places I've tried. Our waiter was very kind and patient while answering all the questions we had. The food came out pretty quick. This place is so worth it for quality you get! I've been to other places that cost the same and the quality was mid.
google avatar

Grace L.

Yelp
Read about this place on one of those Chicago best restaurant lists and came because couldn't get last minute reservations for my usual omakase places. Omakase only runs at 6 and 9pm. We didn't know and since we showed up at 630 couldn't do it. Did a la carts instead. Trendy place good for young people, food was decent and well presented but didn't stand out among all the other good sushi places in the city. Music choice was odd - felt like we were in a club? The service was good, nice attentive waitstaff. Would come again for casual dinning but not a special occasion.
google avatar

Melanie C.

Yelp
So excited for this new sushi place! Fish is fresh and everything is presented beautifully. The decor, plating, and ambience is exciting. Beautiful date night location in LP. It has that wow factor! My favorites: -Sashimi: hon maguro with shiitake mushrooms -nigiri: wagyu, anything tuna, Japanese uni, hamachi -hot food: golden crispy rice (my #1) and lobster bistro soup -drink: yuzu sake (this stuff is dangerous!) Staff was nice. Would come back to try omakase.
google avatar

Murphy Z.

Yelp
Chic sushi place in Lincoln park. The ingredient is pure and fresh, the visual presentations are gorgeous! It's a bit more expensive than some other sushi place in the neighborhood, but the whole experience pays off. Recommend for date night!
google avatar

Andrew G.

Yelp
Kyoku has a nice Japanese ambiance inside and serves elegant sushi regardless if you get the omakase, or join them for a casual dinner. All of the fish tasted fresh and had a silky texture that paired well with the fresh REAL wasabi (appreciation call out for not using the cheap imitation wasabi). The pricing for everything felt fair for the quality of the food.
google avatar

Ravida S.

Yelp
Hey there, just wanted to drop a quick message to let you know how much I loved my visit to Kyoku Sushi. The Black Widow rolls were absolutely amazing, and the lobster roll was incredibly delicious. Thank you for creating such a fantastic sushi experience. Keep up the great work! Such an amazing place to go with friends dine in!Clean place !
google avatar

Jeannie Y.

Yelp
Doesn't taste authentic but good enough. Tempura was made well, nigiris were ok, can be better, excellent service. Miso cod was very tasty. Negi hama, so so. Lobster bisque a little too sweet.
google avatar

Lindsey F.

Yelp
wildly overpriced, which I suppose isn't surprising for the area. had an $18 cocktail that was not good. the golden crispy rice was not crispy, it was chewy and lukewarm. the rolls were pretty good. nigiri was pretty good but again, overpriced. the service was fine, the ambiance is fine if you're into a super mod look.
google avatar

Richard L.

Yelp
We had 6pm Omakase appointment. The fish was fresh and tasty. The chef was very nice to explain all the course and where they got the fish from. I am no sushi expert but this is fun and tasty. I will definitely come again.
google avatar

Frederick M.

Yelp
Our experience at Kyoku was excellent, from the quality of the fish to the ambiance of the modern space. Be sure to go for The 9 signature nigiri, which featured a delicious assortment of tuna, yellowtail and even the uni from Hokkaido and dry aged tuna specials. Actually, a really great value for the price. We also ordered botan ebi and the hon maguro. The only thing we were wondering is why the restaurant wasn't that full... it's one of the few places that prioritizes high end fish, not smothered in sweet sauce. We will be back soon! And try the Pearl River Pilsner Japanese beer.
google avatar

Stacey C.

Yelp
Great sushi spot in Lincoln Park! The nigiri was very good, simple but executed well. Good quality and reasonable prices. They also have a variety of rolls if you prefer that. We tried their crispy rice tuna appetizer which was super flavorful. We'll definitely be back!
google avatar

Ray G.

Yelp
Went to this restaurant for my wife's 30th. Service was excellent. Food was just as good. The 9 was worth it! Dragon roll was good but could've used a lil more eel sauce. Our waitress was the best! Staff was pleasant and attentive to our needs and made the night special. Definitely a night to remember. Will be back.

Yelp
There are many sushi restaurants in Chicago. There are even quite a few Omakase restaurants now. And a few of them feature direct interaction with the chef. But there are no experiences in Chicago that quite equal the interaction you'll experience with a very personable chef Win. Chef Win is conversational and engaging. He strives for the best every day and I believe it! Rather than the officious, controlling chefs you so often encounter in Omakase restaurants, Chef Win brings a friendly, educational attitude to the experience. The restaurant itself is well decorated, friendly atmosphere with great staffs. The fish qualities were exceptional, Plus the house soy sauce was worth trying. I was honestly satisfied from a quantity perspective too, which is not always the case for Omakase. Having been to Japan many times and had omakase on both coasts, I can say that Kyoku is definitely up there in terms of a memorable meal.

Yelp
Omg!! Love this place! Went for lunch Friday. $25 for roll and 6 pieces. The fish is incredible!!! Truly the best tuna I have had anywhere. Rolls interesting and creative. We also had a few of the special sushi pieces and they were fabulous!! You have to check this place out. Jack the owner is so nice and takes so much pride in his food!!

Yelp
Food was amazing! My table ordered a lot and everything came out pretty quickly. Tasted very high quality and looked great. It was all plated beautifully as well. We had the lobster bisque, golden crunchy rice and seaweed salad to start. For signature makis, we got the HiJack, Kyoku Special, Lobster and Three 1 Two. All the nigiri was also very fresh! Would definitely come back on date nights or even with a big group again. The whole group enjoyed it a lot and the plating added to the ambiance and experience.
