"After leaving Wall Street following his father's death and returning to Durham in 2009, the founder opened an Italian-influenced coffee shop that has since evolved into a four-part concept combining a jazz club, restaurant, bar and coffee shop. Built around a 'be you' mentality, the venue emphasizes community, live music and local art (including stage work by Artie Barksdale). Ordered these wings on doordash trying something new and I’m so not impressed. The wings are tender but it’s as if they fried prebattered chicken wings and tossed them in whatever sauce you request which really doesn’t have much depth of flavor. Wings taste like shakeys wings with sauce and garnishing. So sad bc the reviews were really good and had me excited to support this business.

Kyros is a vibe and the food selections are so good. I tried the Gold Chain Wings and they were fire with just the right amount of flavor!!! Smoothies and juices are great as well. Don't sleep on the vibes either, in the evenings Kyros Cafe & Restaurant transforms into a lounge and DJ Eveready spins the hottest new tracks! Check with the owner to reserve the venue for private events & celebrations. If you're in DTLA this spot is a must try!!!

I think it’s extremely disappointing that the bouncer told us that this place was “the afters” and we asked him, verbatim, if this was the entrance to the Blind Tiger. He lied and said it was. The actual entrance to the afters is right next door and is the place we were obviously looking for. It’s the only place in the street, and for blocks, that anyone is attempting to enter as an afters. The bouncer made us each pay $15 after lying and gave us “drink vouchers.” The drink ticket will get you a tiny mini cup that is half-filled. I just don’t think it’s right to lie to get people to patronize your business. Please rectify the situation and issue refunds.
