My colleagues and I came here after a conference. The waiter was great, recommended us to share dishes like family meal which we did and tried out a lot of dishes. Grilled octopus, smoked short ribs were my favorites. The desserts were great too. Not too sweet and nicely presented.

Kyu is located in the Fountainbleu off the North end of Las Vegas Strip. Asian bbq cuisine- family style share plates, expensive, and portions vary in size, but what we got was delicious. We ordered the Crispy Pork Guy, Brisket, sweet potato, asparagus, and stone pot Thai fried rice with King Crab. This provided a light meal for the four adults in our party to share. If we were hungrier we would have had to order more food. There was enough rice for us to each get a healthy portion. The Pork Guy was our personal favorite but each meal was very yummy!

Amazing spot. We did the taste of KYU pre fixe and it was a feast, come hungry because we couldn’t finish everything with very generous portion sizes. Vibe is upscale but trendy and welcoming, love the big windows to outside too since not many Vegas restaurants have natural window views. Cauliflower dish was our favorite bite of our entire Las Vegas trip. Staff went above and beyond, super friendly. A meal we won’t forget! Shout out to Brian and Francis who were great.

As a disabled guest, navigating certain spaces—particularly seating arrangements—can often be challenging and, at times, even emotionally difficult. On multiple occasions in multiple properties I have been asked how disabled I am or whether I could walk to a particular table. These types of questions, though perhaps well-intended, are not only deeply uncomfortable but also reflect a lack of thoughtful consideration. Your restaurant stood out as one that did not subject me to such questions. This simple yet powerful act of respect and awareness made an enormous difference in my experience. I want to especially commend your manager, Eric, who exemplifies the very best in hospitality. He is generous, thoughtful, and impressively committed to customer satisfaction. His attentiveness and warmth made me feel genuinely cared for. Eric is a tremendous asset to your organization, and I hope his value is recognized internally as deeply as I recognized it during my visit. I would also like to extend my gratitude to Jason, who provided truly exceptional service. His recommendations were spot-on, and every detail—from the food and beverages to the cleanliness and overall experience—was flawlessly managed. Jason ensured my drink was never empty, my napkin was always refreshed, and the table remained impeccably tidy. His attentiveness was consistent and genuine. Having lived and dined in luxury hotels across the globe—sometimes for months or even years at a time—I consider myself well-versed in what distinguishes good service from great. Jason is, without question, among the best I have encountered. As someone who has lectured on customer care and service at institutions around the world, including the American University in Cairo, I do not offer this praise lightly. In addition, I want to acknowledge JD and Antonio, as well as the welcoming staff at the front desk. Each one of them contributed to an atmosphere that felt warm, inviting, and sincerely hospitable. They made me feel not just accommodated, but genuinely welcome. The combination of excellent food and extraordinary service made this dining experience memorable. When you walk into Kyu, the atmosphere immediately stands out—it’s absolutely beautiful! I was a little nervous beforehand because I had heard that some restaurants in this area aren’t very kid-friendly, but I was pleasantly surprised. Kyu is definitely welcoming for families. They even had plastic cups for kids, which was a lifesaver since I forgot my child’s sippy cup. The design is thoughtful and modern, with a stunning green garden wall in the back that adds such a peaceful touch to the space. The food was solid, flavorful, and well-prepared, but what really stole the show was the dessert—it was amazing! All in all, a wonderful experience. Would definitely recommend for families or anyone looking for a nice meal in a beautiful setting. Just shy of 5 stars for me, but still a spot worth visiting!

Kyu is a great restaurant and I highly recommend it for its interesting twist on American styled food! Generous portion sizes and everything was tasty. The highlight was the lamb chops with hoisin and garlic chips. The Thai Hot pot is exactly what I want when it’s cold outside. Amazing comfort food. Our waitress Tina was brilliant and attentive. Great knowledge of the food, super friendly and helpful. Pro note … don’t ask the water guy abt his tattoo. His response will be abrupt and will make you regret ever trying to be the least bit friendly. Despite that awkward experience, we will be back.

Solid choice for dinner. Service is great, food is overall good too. We got: Crispy pork guy: amazing, very good even though it’s small. Grilled octopus: I believe it was overdone, it tasted burnt so we had to return it unfortunately. Thai rice stone pot: our favorite from the night, 10/10 we really liked it and the portion is good for two. Japanese sweet potato: pretty delicious too, a bit too sweet maybe but good if you’re into sweets. Dark Chocolate S’mores Cake: amazing, pretty sweet and delicious, recommended. Service is amazing, our server was very kind and helped us through our choices. We were charged $11 for water which we didn’t know about, but it’s not a big deal. With $110 we got a pretty good meal for two, overall satisfied.

Just ate at KYU with a group of ten last Saturday night. We were sat in our own separate room which was perfect - then proceeded to eat almost everything on the menu. Every dish was exceptional, even things I wouldn’t normally eat I tried and it all blew me away. Finished by trying three different desserts and I can’t pick a favorite. I would highly highly recommend this restaurant and I will definitely be back myself. Save room for the dessert!

Our Full KYU Experience Date night with my boyfriend -- and as always, his restaurant picks never miss! This time he chose KYU, inside the gorgeous Fontainebleau Las Vegas, and honestly... he nailed it. This was one of those meals where everything -- from the design to the dessert -- just hit perfectly. From the moment we arrived, the atmosphere drew us in. The entrance is lined with sleek wooden panels that glow softly, setting a warm, earthy tone. You can smell that faint, mouthwatering wood-fired aroma before you even walk in. Once inside, you're immediately greeted by a lively, stylish bar scene buzzing with energy. To the left is the hostess stand, where the staff greeted us with smiles and led us to our table. Tip: Make a reservation! We booked ours for 5 PM, which was ideal -- not too crowded, with that early-evening calm before the dinner rush. We were seated at Table 56, and I swear it's the best view in the house. From there, we could see the entire restaurant the ambient glow from those dreamy chandeliers that resemble floating lily pads. The lighting was perfectly moody yet bright enough to read the menu (and take a few food pics, of course!). Our server, Bryan, was exceptional -- friendly, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about the menu. KYU is pronounced like the letter "Q." His recommendations were spot-on all night, and his timing was flawless -- attentive without ever hovering. The menu itself was beautifully curated -- not too long, easy to navigate, and filled with unique options. The cocktail list immediately caught my eye, full of creative mixes and tropical twists. I started with the Roshi's Island, a Thai basil watermelon mojito. Bryan said it's a fan favorite, and he wasn't kidding -- light, refreshing, and bursting with fresh watermelon flavor. For my second drink, I switched to a non-alcoholic Hibiscus Cooler -- tangy, floral, and perfectly chilled. It was the perfect way to stay cool as dinner heated up. For starters, we ordered the Avocado Salad and the Grilled Octopus. The salad was so fresh and vibrant -- creamy avocado, crisp greens, and just the right citrusy kick. I could've easily eaten another one. The octopus was tender, smoky, and seasoned to perfection -- one of the best I've had anywhere, honestly. Then came the main event -- and wow. We shared the Thai Rice Stone Pot with King Crab, the Filet Mignon, and the Beef Short Rib. Every single bite was bursting with flavor. The stone pot came sizzling hot, packed with delicious textures and that amazing crab richness. The filet was melt-in-your-mouth tender, and the short rib had that deep, slow-cooked flavor that just makes you close your eyes and sigh. For sides, we had the Grilled Broccoli and the Japanese Sweet Potato. The broccoli had that perfect smoky char, and the sweet potato -- oh my goodness -- had these subtle vanilla notes that made it almost dessert-like. Total comfort food heaven. Speaking of dessert -- the grand finale was unforgettable. My boyfriend went all in with the Dark Chocolate S'mores Cake topped with banana-bourbon ice cream, and let's just say he didn't leave a crumb. I stole a few bites and instantly fell in love -- rich, gooey, and indulgent. I went for the Vietnamese Coffee Tiramisu, which was the cutest thing ever, shaped like a little dumpling! The presentation alone was worth it, but the taste? Even better. Pro tip: dig right into the center to get all the coffee, cream, and cocoa layers in one perfect bite. Absolutely divine. By the end of the night, we were full, happy, and already planning our next visit. From the ambiance to the impeccable service and that unforgettable smoky-Asian flavor, KYU is a total gem. It's classy without being stuffy, modern without being cold, and every detail -- from cocktails to lighting -- feels perfectly balanced. I came here on Halloween as you can tell from my photos. Hehe First and foremost, I don't like sweet potatoes that much but this place has changed my mind on that!! It's baked white sweet potato with butter plus toasted on top just topped it off. I am obsessed with it. (I even told my friend plus the server that I ain't touching it...) Now we can start talking about the other dishes. The ribs just falls off the bone literally and super tender plus flavorful! Hamachi is fresh, the fried chicken have the perfect seasoning and sauce, crab rice was a bit too sweet for me (so I went home and re-seasoned it lol), the wagyu tartar was a little dry for me but the bread that goes with it is fire (I'll be down to just order the bread), and the desserts are a must!!! We got the S'mores one and Vietnamese tiramisu. Our drinks were amazing same as our server and chef plus great company!! It is so pretty inside! TIPS: Eat the Wagyu fresh on the spot or ask for some truffle oil for it. I went home and added my own truffle oil and it was bomb af. Follow me on yelp if you like my vibe!! xoxo eatwithjennime

first time here at KYU and i would highly recommend! the staff is friendly and will seat you comfortably. the setting is very dim lighting so for an intimate experience this is perfect. the food is delicious! for appetizers we went with the Tuna Crispy Rice. Light and delicious. for the main entrees we did the short rib and rice pot with king crab. (both entrees are pretty big so sharing with 2+ people is perfect. also for cocktails we had the espresso martini and the pink puppy. yum!

I really wanted to like this place, but the Thai hotpot was a total letdown. It came out soggy and strangely sweet--nothing like the bold, balanced flavors Thai food is known for. And for something advertised with king crab, I honestly couldn't find any in the dish. For the price and hype, it just didn't deliver. The bbq ribs were ok but truly nothing to write about - I honestly don't recommend this place.

This place is worth every dollar. The service is beyond accommodating , the restaurant is beautiful, the cocktails are impressive and the food is point blank amazing. Perfect for a special occasion. Also, if you have a chance to try their tasting menu, do it!

The meal just got worse as the evening went on Pork belly - this was highlight of the meal; crispy and fatty textures with saltiness and lime. Perfect combo Sea bass - surprising good for how it looks Duck breast - not very tender, no fat, and comes with no accompaniments. Under seasoned as well; had to request salt

TLDR: Come here for upscale Asian-inspired dinner classics in a stunning modern setting that would make the nicest bars in NY and LA jealous. ------ FOOD: The Chilean sea bass came highly recommended by the waitress and she was absolutely right. It was the perfect savory, buttery fish fillet, similar to black cod. Came with delicious pickled, mixed herbs that cut through the richness of the fish beautifully. Paired it with a fantastic baby bok choy side topped with a healthy amount of chili crisp oil and garlic. It's the perfect side to share or to add some greens into your Vegas diet. ------ AMBIANCE / SERVICE: My waitress Pristina was the absolute best and was not only kind and attentive but also so fun and personable. Various people on the team checked in throughout the meal and I felt well take care of. The vibe is phenomenal. The restaurant is a stunning, dimly-lit, modern space and there's even a private room in case you want to host an event here. Only ding would be that my food took a very long time to come out even though there were very few dining at the time.

Unfortunately our visit was disappointing- we always had great meals in the past. Food was super oily and not up to par. Service was mediocre.

Amazing experience. We just got back from Korea and had a night in Vegas. Great fusion spot to come and try out. 1 con I wasn't in love with the stir fry/thai pot dish. 10+ pros Great service, very attentive Friendly staff, others check I'm to make sure you're good The ribs (which is very rare for me) we're delicious and I devoured it, minus the ones I shared to not be stingy, lol The sweet potato sounds unappealing, but to my surprise was really good. Then dessert options looked tasty, but we kept it simple. You can be dressy or casual here in true Vegas fashion. It's near one of the many entrances to the Fountainbleau hotel. Thanks to our server for making our night enjoyable.

All the rating is for the bartenders! Limited food menu and will not do much to make you happy with that said bartender was great! Fun sake bombs and wine.

Definitely a beautiful restaurant in the FB. Right when you entered, you have a beautiful bar. Open kitchen on the right as you entered. Ambience is warm and beautiful. We were seated and can see the back of the bar. The draping made it just an amazing view. There were 6 of us. All colleagues in town for a conference. Wanted to enjoy a nice restaurant. Service from our main waiter was ok. He was sufficiently doing it but not great. Either we all spoke too softly or he cannot hear so at times, we had to raise our voice to repeat our order or our wants to him. Support staff was great. Food came out timely. Table and plates were cleaned off or taken away when needed. Food was ok. Although flavorful and presentation was great, no dish stood out. We had a variety of cocktails and again nothing stood out. So overall, an ok dinner by all of us.

We're locals specifically here for Restaurant Week and we had such a great experience. Kyu (pronounced like the letter Q) is located on the casino level of Fontainebleau. Right across from Yves Saint Laurent. Made a reservation for Saturday at 7pm and we were seated right away. I think most days reservations aren't needed but we made one just in case. For restaurant week, it's a three course meal for $80. Each course had multiple options to choose from. Between my hubby and I, we had a total of six items to try! We got the following: FIRST COURSE: -Hamachi Crudo (total of 6 pieces) -Tuna Crispy Rice (total of 4 pieces) Both items were delicious. We enjoyed the Hamachi Crudo more. The citrus gave it such a refreshing taste. SECOND COURSE: -Korean Fried Chicken -Thai Rice Stone Pot with duck confit It's bone-in chicken btw. But the flavoring of the chili butter and there's a side of braised spinach...mmmm mmm....the chili butter makes this dish. The duck thai rice's portion was HUGEEEE. It's seriously MORE than enough for two people with leftovers too! Solid choice. The waiter mixed a poached egg and there's cilantro too. Delicious all together. THIRD COURSE: -Dark Chocolate S'mores Cake with banana bourbon ice cream -The Kyu Cinnamon Roll The winner here is the dang banana bourbon ice cream! Whoooo mann....I'd just order that alone. But the s'mores cake was good too. The cinnamon roll was nothing to write home about. Definitely the weak spot of the night. Service was on point and staff was on their A-game all night. Food was brought out in a timely manner. Kyu is now on our list of top restaurants.

~Food/Drinks~ The Kyu Experience: This was recommended by the server if we were interested in trying a lot of items. All of their dishes are meant to be shared, but of course, you can order for yourself too. But after the meal, we realized that it would've been a better option to order things individually. The prices didn't really add up, and we would've saved some money by opting out of some things too. Food was amazing though! Apps: Krunchy Kale was really good, super crispy and that citrus sauce to dip was refreshing. Not really worth the price though but if you're splurging, give it a try. Tuna Crispy Rice came with two pieces and I think it's tailored to how many people are doing the experience. It's a generous amount of tuna and the rice is piping hot from being deep-fried. The Roasted Cauliflower is an entire head of cauliflower! The server will cut it up and you just have to mix it in with the goat cheese and vinaigrette sauce, which gives it a sharp and creamy flavor. Highly recommend! Entrees: For the Thai Rice Stone Pot, you can pay extra to upgrade to King Crab, which is what we did. This was so good! Leave the rice on the bottom alone so it can get crispy. Lots of crab meat and the runny egg yolk mixed into the rice gave it a creamy consistency. The lemongrass flavor is strong though but we didn't mind at all. The Beef Short Rib was unexpectedly just average. You get a couple of good slices of meat but I thought the majority was too dry. The Korean Fried Chicken was all dark meat and had this really amazing chili butter. Not sure how this was Korean though since the fried batter tasted more like American fried chicken. Maybe they used gochujang as the chili? Sides: If we were ordering individually, I would've opted out of the Japanese Sweet Potato. It's pretty good but it's a lot. A giant sweet potato that's been split open and tastes like it was cooked on a campfire. More sweet than savory too but it's so filling and we didn't even finish it. At the end, we also got a little tiramisu dessert, shaped like a bun. Very soft, delicate, and smooth. A good finish after all of the heavy dishes. ~Service~ Servers were great and friendly. They were attentive and refilled waters without asking and timed each course perfectly. While we didn't have any issues, I did overhear a table behind us getting angry and I thought the server handled the situation very well. ~Atmosphere~ The restaurant has a fancier vibe but not too fancy where they were enforcing a strict dress code. We dressed up just a bit, like collared shirts and long pants, for the occasion but there were people much more casual than us. Just don't show up in flip-flops and tank tops. It's kind of dim inside but at least the noise isn't too loud. We were able to talk to each other without leaning over the table and constantly repeating ourselves. ~Logistics~ The restaurant is located inside Fontainebleau. We made reservations just to be safe but the restaurant never fully filled up while we were eating dinner. ~Conclusion~ Recommend trying at least once! I'm glad I did the Kyu Experience because now I know what to order again and what to avoid. There's still a lot of other dishes on the menu that I'd like to try as well.

Decided to book this restaurant for an anniversary dinner since it was highly recommended by a friend. Initially what stood out was the abysmal service. We had reservations set for 9:30pm on Saturday evening. We arrived early and were attended by the host. I was surprised to meet the restaurant to be pretty empty but I'm not surprised. We thought we would get prime restaurant seating preferably a booth due to the occasion we were celebrating but we did not. I even inquired as she walked us to a random open table if we were going to get seated at better table. Side note: hostess appeared very confused as she walked us to this random table that wasn't clean and prepared. They denied our booth request and gave it to the Asian couple who came after us. I specifically heard the hostess ask them what seating would they prefer and would they like the booth and offered it to them. When I asked the host about the both seating she said no it was reserved. I replied that they were offered that, it was never reserved. Not sure if this was racially motivated because we are Black but this preferential service to customers who had later reservations than we did should not be the norm. There should be no discrimination against customers in 2025 and given to another group of people just because they represent the restaurants demographics. As far as the food options, there is a one page food menu. We tried the pork belly bao buns as appetizers. Then the Thai rice stone pot, beef short rib, and coconut cream spinach. The pork belly bao buns were nothing special. The presentation was extremely lackluster. Taste wise, the pork belly was crispy but tender and good to the taste. The entrees took quite awhile for it to come out which is surprising since the restaurant is not busy. Our beef short rib was cold, not as moist and lacked seasoning. The confit duck Thai rice stone pot was just okay. The duck was very scarce in the rice. The rice was very sticky, burnt to the bottom and crispy at some points. Overall the food was 2/5. If you want better Asian-inspired dishes there are plenty other options than this restaurant.

Great service. The server walked me through their best items and what made the most sense for my interests. Had the Hamachi crudo and short rib. Both were amazing but I need to dive into the short rib. It was one of the best short ribs I've ever had. Great flavour, perfect moisture, and had a bit of an Asian flare to it. The table next to me was also raving over the short rib. It is box office and you can't skip it.

Food, service and atmosphere were excellent. I hope to dine here again, although prices are a bit on the high end for me, but probably not for the guests at Fountainbleau. I would have liked to see a sampler platter for the meat. We wanted to try the chicken and the brisket, but since the appetizers all sounded more interesting, we only got the brisket. I was most excited about the yuzu preserves on the burrata - it was a perfect blend of mild and sour, and the bread was grilled to perfection. Besides the burrata, the kale and sweet potato were the only thing we finished. The cauliflower itself was a bit bland, and the sauce mild. I would have liked to have it grilled a bit more or some garlic to give it more flavor. The Brisket was a bit dry... at $66 I would have expected it to be perfection. The rice bowl was tasty, although not that memorable. I think I was hoping for a drier fried rice or a more unique flavor. On my return I hope to get the chicken and Tiramisu. The drinks looked tasty, too - but I had my fill at the pool before our arrival.

This is one of the restaurants inside the Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel. I was able to get seated right away for a Thursday night diner without a reservation. To start off, the service and atmosphere were nice. The hosts and servers were very attentive and friendly. However, I personally just didn't find the food tasty and don't feel like it lives up to its price tag. I ordered the Korean Fried Chicken and the Thai Stone Pot with duck which are both signature dishes (as indicated on the menu). The Korean Fried Chicken was served with a sauce which tastes pretty similar to a spicy sriracha aioli. The sauce doesn't taste bad but it's just not enough to make up for the dryness and lack of the flavor of the chicken. The only thing I really like about this dish is the spinach served with the chicken. As for the Thai Stone Pot Rice, I wish that they would somehow mention on the menu or in person that it's very strong in ginger flavor. Because I'm not a fan of ginger, I struggled to finish the plate and had many leftovers. If you like Thai sweet chili sauce mixed with ginger then you might like this dish. Just be aware of that you don't get much protein and most of it would be rice. Overall, I'm feel neutral about Kyu but would not recommend the Korean Fried Chicken and Thai Stone Pot Rice.

This review is based on my visit on 2/22/25, which was my 3rd time at Kyu. I don't often repeat spots on the Strip because there are just so many places still on my list, but I have had a great time at Kyu every time I've been. My party of 3 slid up to the bar, which is a great place to sit, BTW. We had a view of the basketball games that were playing on their TV screens and the action at the bar, which for me is always entertaining. They had these amazing (and ginormous) animal-shaped vessels they were filling with a pink creamy-looking beverage. Looked like a fun time, but we weren't in the mood to heavily imbibe so passed. We were in the mood for some great food, and ordered a few entrees to share: - Korean fried chicken: I LOVE this dish. I think it was my second time having it. Everything about this dish hits - the fried skin on the chicken, the spicy and multi-dimensional sauce, the spinach and wedge of citrus to help cut the richness. Get it! - Beef short rib: The char and juicy succulence of this meat - wow. I enjoyed the pickled veggies and sauce selection too. The only thing I longed for when eating this was a bowl of rice. We didn't order any dessert this visit, but I can vouch for the fact that they are innovative and amazing. I'm not sure if they are still doing the bao trio, but if they are, this is an absolute MUST. (Hint: they are not really baos - they are just disguised to look like them.) Kyu is not only a vibe, it has real substance and turns out beautiful and memorable food. 10/10 recommend!

Amazing top notch service! Hit or miss food Tuna crispy rice - modern take on a nigiri, super crispy rice, Chipotle mayo and Yuzu with tuna, I loved the yuzu which cut the fat and added a bright flavor. I just wish it wasn't minced tuna. Pork belly baos - unimpressive, Chipotle mayo again, bao bun was ripped (the skin layer for steaming), pork belly was not a tender as expected, would NOT recommend, Go to momofuku instead Beef short ribs - TENDER AND JUICY , different sauces and cucumber/ onion pickles and seasonings you can add to make your own custom lettuce wrap. The sauce and pickles were great. Unfortunately the meat to wrap ratio is out of control, you will probably order multiple in order to eat with for all the meat. Maybe we expected a vietnamese style to eat Service was frequent attentive and overall first class by everyone! Atmosphere was green, beautiful and modern Overall it's a cute date spot, but as the food is hit or missi probably wouldn't return

Excellent! Had done a little research on this place and glad I made it happen. Everything was delicious! Service and ambiance was better than expected. Music added to the experience. Had the short ribs, soooo good! The crispy rice tuna, fantastic and the burrata, yum! Portions are a good size too. Would come back on my next trip!

A special shoutout to our server, Joel, who truly elevated the experience. He represents KYU at a top-tier level--friendly, professional, and exceptionally attentive. Joel checked in regularly to make sure my husband and I had everything we needed without ever feeling intrusive. His knowledge of the menu was impressive, and his enthusiasm for the food was contagious. KYU delivered excellence from start to finish. We left already planning our next visit. My husband had a $100 dining credit that we needed to use up at Fontainebleau. What a mess trying to find a meal to use it as someone with Celiac disease. Not only are the menus not marked at most of the restaurants at any casino, but for the restaurant that does at Fontainebleau, Kyu, they only have gluten-free options marked for items that aren't main dishes. Do chefs and managers ever consider that if they're making a menu and they're marking it for special diets, some dishes in each course should be able to be ordered by someone who is utilizing those markers? Again, there were no main dishes that were gluten-free. The waiter told me he talked to the chef and I could order the $70 filet mignon with no seasonings and a dish of salt on the side "but that it wouldn't taste good like it's supposed to." Huh? The only dish with meat that was gluten-free was the tuna crispy rice appetizer and came with 4 pieces. I ordered that and 2 vegetable sides while my husband ordered fried chicken and bao for himself. My husband and I were seated in a back corner right next to the kitchen. My husband's Korean Fried chicken came out so overcooked, with the breading partially missing, that he took 1 bite and sent it back. It was obviously overcooked and should have never left the pass. The waiter kinda argued with him and said that it's supposed to look dark. It wasn't dark, it was overcooked. My husband's fried chicken and second, redone fried chicken both came out before anything I ordered came out. What we ordered: - GF Tuna Crispy Rice - $32 (appetizer) - GF Kimono Cucumber - $14 (side) - GF Japanese Sweet Potato - $18 (side) - 2 piece Pork Belly Bao - $16 (appetizer) - Korean Fried Chicken - $36 (main) - GF 2 piece Vietnamese Coffee Tiramisu - $18 (dessert) - 1 Cafe Americano - $6 (drink) With tax, our bill came out to $151.73 before tip. Food comes out as it's ready so the Japanese sweet potato came out last after we had finished everything but before we got the dessert menu. The waiter had to check with the staff to make sure the tiramisu that was marked gluten-free was actually gluten-free. I'm still not sure what was in it although it tasted nice. Service was spotty. I often had an empty water glass until a busser kinda noticed we were neglected. Overall, I felt that this restaurant's service, quality and options weren't worth what they were charging. Came here hoping for a great dining experience, and while the food and atmosphere were impressive, the service started off on a frustrating note. We were seated and left waiting over 15 minutes without any acknowledgment. No water, no greeting, nothing. It wasn't until my friend got up and went to the check-in desk again to understand the delay. Thankfully, Pristine eventually came over as our server, and she was fantastic...quick, attentive, and professional. Now, onto the food: the crispy pork guy was to die for. Perfectly cooked, well-portioned, and packed with flavor. The paired sauce was subtle yet flavorful, and elevated the dish. Every bite was a treat. The filet mignon was also The restaurant itself is undeniably gorgeous--elegant decor and a welcoming design. But what was not welcoming? My stay at Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel that this restaurant is located in. I had an absolutely traumatic experience as a guest at this hotel, where I was stranded in freezing weather for hours because staff refused to help me access my own room after my phone died. Despite providing digital proof of my identity, they escorted staying I was 'trespassing' despite already staying there for 3 days. And whats more disturbing is that Fontainebleau Las Vegas is a public casino. Their gaming floor, poolside gaming area (which I was in) and other amenities are open to any visitor. Their negligence and complete lack of empathy made it clear that they do not prioritize the safety or well-being of their guests...especially women who are alone. So I'd strongly warn anyone against staying at Fontainebleau or supporting its services inside. No amount of good food is worth dealing with a hotel that treats guests so poorly. Which is why this facility in this hotel gets this rating...by association.

Was going to another place but they pulled a bait and switch on restaurant week so we left and came here. Were very accommodating for a party of 7 on a Saturday night last minute walk in Started the night with an old fashioned and it was made perfectly Whole table got the restaurant week menu. I had the yellowtail app with the Thai rice bowl and cinnamon roll dessert I asked about ordering more food and the waiter kindly told me the bowl was very large and I should probably wait to see how it goes. Was impressed at the size of the bowl, most places offer smaller portions for Restaurants week. Not here, was a massive bowl of rice and egg and duck and veggies. Mixed table side and served in a smaller bowl. I couldn't finish it. Cinnamon roll was amazing. I'd go back just for that Service was excellent. Our waiter was very good, helpful and always there for another drink or whatever we needed Nice inside, lots of room with a u shaped bar in the center and tables all around. Funny how sometimes things just work out. Didn't have any desire to go there at all now I can't wait to go back!

Where do I start? The ambiance of Kyu is nothing short of fun and inviting. Our servers were super attentive and were really helpful to answer any questions that we had on the menu. Starting with the drinks, there were a lot of alcohol and non-alcoholic drinks to choose from. We opted for the Kyu experience, and if you decide to go for that option, just know that there's a lot of food involved! The courses were so delicious that I forgot to take photos after the kale and got distracted. But their Korean fried chicken was perfectly cooked with a nice crunch to it. If you're at the Fontaine Bleau, don't forget to stop by Kyu!

Waiter Brian is worth his weight in gold. He remembered my last two trips to dine there including the tables I sat and my previous food order. Amazing!!!!

A group of us visited for late lunch on the Strip and the fried chicken did not disappoint!! We were seated shortly upon arriving, super nice service, they were so friendly and patient. Not packed when we went, but was relatively lively and the music was upbeat. Chicken itself was juicy and not at all dry. Thankfully, it wasn't greasy and very crispy on the outside without very aggressively thick batter coating. Seasoning was perfect. Also loved the sauce that came with it which had a bit of a kick. Definitely recommend!

This place is really beautiful inside and it's on the bottom floor of Fontainebleau. I didn't know they serve a different menu every since month so I was disappointed to not get something I had seen posted on Yelp. The Thai fried rice is on the sweeter side fyi. The service was good. I really recommend the sea bass!!!

SERVICE : Customer Service - I believe it was Mary Kay that coined the term - MMFI (Make Me Feel Important). The staff were spot on in applying that philosophy. We had several staff on rotation accommodating us including the house manager who provided a nice introduction, and checked back a few more times to see how things were going . FOOD QUALITY: Exceptional The Seabass was the best I've ever had by a long shot meaning no other Seabass comes close. Between its texture, taste, and perfect cooking - absolute perfection. The miso & herb sauce featured an array of provided a cornucopia, (a pleasant one at that) of unique flavors such that I've never experienced. The Beef Short Ribs were perfectly marbleized and succulent by themselves however adding the sauces that came with it - was the perfect accompaniment. I highly recommend their Barrata with featuring their signature homemade jam. (Unfortunately, it was devoured before I realized taking a photo might be a good idea). It includes olive oil, and a mozzarella cheese ball which features a softer interior. These combinations are perfect compliments to enhance the taste buds, but the toasted sourdough - performs double-duty by also providing perfect texture too. AMBIENCE: The ambience was soft chill featuring contemporary music at the perfect volume setting which for me means it doesn't compete with one's ability to have easily understood communication. Thus providing the opportunity to decompress after a stressful day. CRITIQUES: I cannot provide any - if I experienced any I would list. SUGGESTIONS: Allow your waiter to educate you on popular dishes. However, I suggest YOU vest time making inquiries and communicating with your waiter too. KYU is more than a place to eat great food and experience new flavors - It's an experience.

Came here with my adult kids because ky husband insisted we eat here. We ordered the Thai pot rice and the king crab, but the stars of the show were the appetizers. The hamachi crudo (so fresh!!), the octopus (my favorite) and the avocado salad (refreshing!!). Our servers Ray and Frances were amazing. So attentive and sweet- friendly and kind. They elevated the experience. Thank you Kyu- esp Ray and Frances!

We finally tried out Kyu and it was an overall great experience except for the Korean Fried Chicken which came out with pink/reddish bloody meat twice. Our server and the manager did apologize profusely and tried their best to make it right by cooking the dish again and removing the dish from our bill. They explained that it was due to the restaurant using Jidori chicken (a higher end breed similar to wagyu for beef) and that the bloodlines (which are in the thigh) are what caused the red bloody color and reassured us that the chicken meat is fully cooked & safe to eat. They swapped the thigh to breast instead so that there would be no bloody issue. The smoked short rib is a must have and the best dish of the night! It rivals the best bbq in Texas in terms of smoky taste and melt in your mouth tenderness. The pork guy was a great appetizer to start with - crunchy and salty goodness similar to lechon kawali from Filipino cuisine! The Thai fried rice was also packed with a lot of flavor. The gyoza potsticker and Japanese sweet potato can be skipped. They're not bad but nothing to remember or write home about. Lastly, if you still have room for dessert, get the tiramisu bao buns! The buns are so refreshing and light and will end the meal in a heavenly high. Service was decent and attentive. Ambiance is smart casual and lighting is a bit dark.

Ordered a classic Espresso Martini and the bartender served me up right. Offered me tequila or vodka and made a killer cocktail. Standard recipe, pre-pulled espresso. Absolutely solid. I also ordered their signature Espresso Martini, "Good Morning, Vietnam!" I remember it being better. This time it honestly tasted like sweetened watered down tequila. Not much character whatsoever. Needed more cold brew first and foremost. The garnish however was some coated cherry of sorts--amazing! I'd opt for the standard here. Fantastic restaurant overall though.

Husband and I had a great seat with a strip view. Our first time staying at the fountain blue so we wanted to experience the dining there. Everything was delicious and portions were pretty generous. Service was great and they offered to change plates before main entree which is always a plus! Table next to us ordered something with bone-marrow and the presentation seemed amazing. Overall, I'd recommend ordering a variety of dishes to SHARE and request a seat next to the windows for people watching! If you eat here ask for Blake. He is so kind and will walk you through the menu. He truly is generous and welcoming. You feel like you are one of the family at the restaurant. The food is a quality above. Take time and try an item from each section of the menu. You can walk through it so you are full. This is a place you want to come hungry. The food is worth every minute of the wait. The music is fun too. It will get you completely ready to step into one of the Vegas parties. Stop by and definitely ask for Blake.

The way the staff treated us was so kind! Wow. So this restaurant is fairly new but the food is sooo delicious. Based in Miami, these flavors are to die for. Avocado salad Hamachi crudo Japanese potato King Crab Legs Short Rib Shaved Ice The vibe in here is great, the living wall is gorgeous and I cannot wait to come back.

Been here a couple times Recommend the Oysters Crispy rice (tuna) Seabass (it's a sweet miso) Jason was our server, he was very polite and attentive.

Great spot for a large party and we all had an awesome dinner here. We tried most things on the menu (8 hungry guys) and everything was solid; we didn't have 1 bad dish. Everyone had a different favorite and I was pretty impressed overall with the service, variety, etc. We spent about $100 per person and I thought this was a pretty reasonable price given the amount of food we ate.

Great atmosphere inside Kyu at the Fontainebleau. It was our first time at the hotel and this restaurant and we were left impressed with the food and ambiance. Kyu is a lively Asian fusion restaurant with an eclectic menu and tasty drinks. Prices are on the heavy side, but that's pretty typical now for Vegas. Portions were plenty big and drinks had a good stiffness to them. We were here celebrating a 40th birthday and all went smooth. With all the different dining options in Vegas, I don't know that we would rush to come back, but we are glad we gave this place a go. It's a must visit if you're staying at the hotel.

The atmosphere and service were excellent and our food was artistic and flavorful, though quite expensive. I had a very good mocktail to start, followed by the roasted cauliflower which sits on a goat cheese sauce and shishito pepper purée - the flavors mix perfectly, though this is not a low fat entree. My husband had the Thai stone pot with duck, it was good but very rich, likely due to the duck fat permeating the rice. This is served in a hot pot and the rice becomes crispy and tasty as it sits. We also had a side of grilled broccoli with was also nicely seasoned. Overall a good spot for a cocktail and memorable meal, though very rich and filling.

Would highly recommend Kyu at the Fountainbleu! Excellent service by James, incredible food and menu. Items are a la carte and meant to be shared. We ordered the crispy tuna appetizer and the burratta with sourdough. Both were scrumptious! As for main courses we picked the crab pot and the fried chicken, with the asparagus as a side. We really could have gone with 2 apps, and one main , and then maybe room for dessert. However we were glad we ordered what we did in order to experience some of their most popular items. We tried two of the mocktails- the matcha shake and the lime fever tree tonic one. I preferred the lime one which was very tart and delicious. Next time I hope to have room to try dessert because the menu sounds amazing. Would definitely return!!

This place is slightly a trek from most strip hotels given it is located in fountainbleau, that may dissuade some but for a foodie or a special occasion this place is incredible and worth the detour. The service marks one of the best I have experienced in the US and you really feel valued as a patron here. We ordered the $75 weekday set menu and boy did it come with a lot of food. The ambiance is nice, it's earthy luxurious. We loved the living plant wall aesthetic. As part of the set menu we started with the krispy kale got the tuna with sticky rice, cauliflower with a green gazpacho like sauce, and for the mains the octopus and fried chicken. Everything was great, and I enjoyed it thoroughly. The fried chickens sauce was unique but the actual texture and consistency were good but not excellent. Desserts were decadent. Will definitely return and recommend.

We sat at the bar and ordered the hamachi crudo and the drink "good morning Vietnam". The thick white sauce on the hamachi crudo is, for lack of better words, disgusting. The fish tasted fresh though and the presentation looked nice. The drinks were a twist on an espresso martini and were pretty good. The reason for my rating is mostly because of the friendly service from Leah and the cool ambiance of the room. Will return but will not order these items

I'm so sorry I forgot our server's name but he was affable and efficient. The desserts looked really good but we didn't have room after eating all the delicious food so we asked to have just the ice cream sacred of what was on the menu and they were happy to provide it. My girl isn't a big fan of red meat and pork but she absolutely devoured the baby back ribs! I managed to get a taste without losing my finger and they were really delicious, tender, and succulent. Because of an experience she had in Korea she assumed she wouldn't like the sweet potato but I love sweet potato so I was getting it no matter what. That was beautifully done and very delicious and I thought I would have it all to myself but she started picking it off pretty quick too. If you like sweet potato like I do that one is an easy 9 out of 10. The tie stone pot was really delicious but unbelievably filling! Thought I was going to have to roll myself out of there, LOL. The king crab was delicious and they didn't skimp on it which added to the flavor and enjoyment. We would definitely go to this restaurant again.

W O W! It was my 5 year wedding anniversary and we wanted to get somewhere new. I did not know what to expect coming here and I was blown away! We got a booth by the window, which was perfect for the sunset and some people watching while we drank. The espresso martinis were probably the best we had in Las Vegas. Then the food came. I wish I could tell you which dish was my favorite but it would be impossible to choose because they each had their own unique flavor! This is not the place to come if you think pepper is a seasoning, this is the place you come to bring your taste buds alive. From the hamachi crudo in the coconut sauce to the spicy citrus shishito peppers to the wood fire sea bass to the brisket lettuce wraps, I ate more than I should have. But we still couldn't resist the temptation of a cinnamon roll. I swore I could only manage one bite but we demolished it. And our server Jess was so attentive, always making sure our drinks were full and even surprised us with a sweet treat for our anniversary! I'm already planning what I will order then next time we come.

Heard a lot of nice things about this restaurant and finally got around to try it. It is inside the latest big resort in Las Vegas, the Fontainebleau. Both the resort and the restaurant are really tastefully decorated with tons of gorgeous fresh flowers and a kinetic sculpture right outside the KYU restaurant. The restaurant has a beautiful bar near the entrance. The high ceilings make it feel very bright and airy and comfortable. This fusion restaurant offers a lot of unique and creative dishes. We ordered family style for the four of us: Wagyu Tartare prepared table side, Scallop Ceviche, Stone Pot Thai Rice with King Crab, Duck Breast Burnt Ends, Smoked Beef Short Rib, and Pork Belly Bao Buns. They did a fabulous job on all the meats. The duck breast was fantastic. The short rib was marinated for 24 hours and smoked for ten hours. It looked very appealing and was tender and juicy with a really nice smokey aroma. The pork belly was melt in the mouth tender and really tasty. The Wagyu Tartare was prepared table side and served with an excellent Japanese style milk bread. A piece of bone marrow was torched and then mixed in with the Wagyu. It was exquisite. The ceviche was a bit on the watery side. It had a hint of a coconut taste. The Stone Pot Rice was okay, not particularly outstanding compared to the meat dishes. They also have some pretty innovative original drinks. We tried the Pink Puppy and the Godzilla Water. They were both pretty good. The dessert menu did not look very attractive. We got a house made vanilla ice cream for our special occasion celebration. Our server Brian was top notch: very attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. He frequently checked on us without being intrusive. I do recommend this restaurant: great food, nice ambience, and excellent service. Prices are fair.

Came here to eat while I was staying in the Fountainbleau. The restaurant is gorgeous inside and out. I sat at the bar, had crispy pork guy (fried pork belly ends), hamachi crudo (so fresh, wow) and avocado salad. The restaurant has an amazing Japanese Whiskey collection, amongst other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. The service was also amazing - super quick and they were so nice. Sometimes you go into some place that's high-end like this and the servers aren't very nice or attentive. The prices are on the higher side- however I expected being located in a luxury hotel on the north end of the strip. I had an amazing time and the food was so on point.
