This is our many many times here. Every time we come the food didn’t disappoint us. We love the food, and we love combo deal. We always order 1 of the combo deal and add another ramen. And others etc. The staff are friendly and attentive.

Cute little Ramen shop in a great location. The service is friendly and quick, they offered a table right away and stored our luggage for us. The food has been fresh and delicious. Definitely on my list of repeats.

Great food and service was amazing. They went around with pitchers of water and they worked fast. The music was a great add-on. Very clean and fun atmosphere!

The atmosphere here is super nice and warm. Service is quick and staff are friendly. Overall food is very filling. The ramen combo is pretty good. Only down side is the pork steam buns were tad bit dry. The broth for the ramen is yummy tho! Also if you leave a review; you get to pick between free 1) popcorn chicken or 2) crepe cake slice

The food was amazing and hit the spot without breaking bank. It was a great place to go with a small group on a busy day like Valentine’s Day. The service was great, and I will be coming back. So happy this place was recommended

Saw this place while walking through Union Square. I’m happy I did! The food was superb, and the service was great also. My order came quick and it was delicious. I recommend on of their ramens. Also i recommend eating their rice with tonkatsu and egg combo. I will definitely come again!

Absolutely amazing ramen spot! I had the special egg with rice (Omurice), and it was everything I could have asked for—flavorful, perfectly cooked, and packed with umami. The rice had the perfect texture, soaking up all the delicious flavors. Highly recommend for a quick and good eat

Absolutely phenomenal. I seriously can’t wait to try more food from here but bro this food is hella good. I came here after school with my friend and the atmosphere was so amazing. I love how they gave us napkins to wipe our hands and the food came out pretty quickly. Since we’re little broke students we only got one item but it was super good. I would 10/10 recommend this. Only if you got $13 you can get a nice filling meal. It was pretty hard to eat but so yummy. And I love how they gave us clear gloves to handle and eat the sandwich ❤️

Have had this spot on my list for a while and I finally got to come for an early dinner on a Monday! I love the seating in the back with the private booths and cloth curtains. The menu was a little tricky to read given the amount of options, but I got the hang of it and ordered the Thai iced tea, omurice, yakitori and popcorn chicken. The Thai iced tea was sooo good. I also liked the zucchini yakitori, and the egg in the omurice was cooked perfectly. The matcha and red bean pudding dessert was so cute and I liked the presentation a lot. Also the service was great and the gentleman who helped us most of our meal was so nice.

I had the worst discriminatory experience at your establishment today located at 210 East 14th St, New York, NY 10003. I was very excited to try the food at this establishment so I went to visit the nearest location with my son. Upon arrival we were seated at the very first seat at the entrance, by the door. It was really cold today so I asked if I could be seated somewhere a little more inside the restaurant as I am anemic and it is really cold. My server told me no and walked away. After this I was going to leave however my son really wanted to eat here, so I said fine I will just order food for him and then go. While waiting for our food, I seen several guests pass me (of a different race than me) and get seated in warmer seats inside of the restaurant. I left it alone and let my son finish eating so we can go. After the meal, another server who was not my initial server, an older woman, arrived to our table and provided me with the check. While reviewing the check I seen that there was gratuity added to my bill. I asked her to please remove the tip. She asked me how much did I want to tip. I told her absolutely nothing this is the worst experience ever, I couldn't even order anything for myself to eat because it is too cold, please remove the tip. Her response was there is no problem here, we couldn't sit you in the back because that's for reservations only. I said was the entire restaurant for reservations only? She said No. I told her I simply wanted to sit somewhere further away from the door but I wasn't allowed too however all of the white customers that walked in was. Please remove this tip from the receipt. She then went back and forth with me stating that there was no problem that occurred. After a while I got tired of going back and forth with her and just paid the entire bill with tip included and asked her name. She stated that her name was Yan however I'm not sure how truthful this is. After me and my son left our table she was standing by the front booth, I asked her if she was the supervisor, she stated no, he is not here right now. I asked her what is his name, and then she redirected me to a business card with the stores number on it. I asked her again what is his name and she stated that I can just call that number and ask. I asked her are you unable to give me his name? She smiled, shooked her head and said no. I repeatedly asked her if she could give me the supervisors name and then she finally said that she is the manager and whatever I have to say I can say to her. While trying my best to maintain my composure I asked her to give me my tip Now, do you know how rude you are being. She said yes and took the receipt to open the register and give me back my tip. After this while me and my son is walking out she yells " Next time you people can just order take out". I have never received such disgusting service in my life, and just want to say thanks for showing me why I should never walk into your establishment again. The servers name on the receipt was Zhong J and my receipt was reprinted at 6:21 PM, Jan 5th, receipt #87. People like this should not be allowed to work in a customer service establishment.

Good food, got the spicy tonkotsu ramen. The pork was good, as was the egg. A bit spicybut not too much. Thai iced tea was ok, not as strong as I like it.

I'm very picky about my ramen so trying a new ramen place always sends up a little red flag in me wondering if it will be worth it. I took a chance and tried the curry ramen with tonkatsu and it happened to be really delicious! The combo came with a pork bun and thai iced tea. The iced tea was super good, whereas the pork bun was a bit too thick and lacked flavor. I also wished they had given me more chicken tonkatsu for my ramen. It was such a small piece. Overall, this place is great, not the best ramen I've ever had but the vibes and food make it a great place to return to.

There is nothing a good bowl of Ramen cannot fix. I wish I had this closer to home because it was so good. I could be particular about my broth, and this place truly delivers all the right flavors. Perfect flavors with noodles just the way I like it. This might be the best ramen I've had in a long time. Loved everything about it. The pork bun could have been better though. My best friend loved it too.Overall great place, I will return.

Just try some new menu items at Kyuramen and it was so good. They now have the Ying Yang bowl which has 2 different flavors in one bowl. The honeycomb platter is simply stunning . It's so beautiful. This Union square location has quickly become my favorite. The cozy and aesthetic vibes inside make it perfect spot for relaxing meal. A casual restaurant for tonkatsu omurice in the city. I got the pork tonkatsu omurice combo, which came with the omurice, tonkatsu, and thai iced tea. The omelette was soft and fluffy, but the fried rice was a little lukewarm. Tonkatsu tasted premade, but it was still okay. Thai iced tea was on the sweeter side. Takoyaki was pretty standard. The server was good at communicating like he informed us that they ran out of the batch of fried rice and that it'd take ~15 minutes for our food to come out.

i ordered the chicken ramen to go and there were no toppings. Just broth and noodles.... for $19 this is unbelievably overpriced and disappointing. I would've been better off with the instant ramen for 99¢. The boa bun was fatty and oily and the vegetable spring rolls were mushy inside. Not sure i'll return here

I was seated right away and food came out pretty quickly. Ramen was good but i felt like it was missing something. I liked the pork and the egg in it. I got the spicy tonkotsu prepared medium.

Fan-f*ckin-tastic. After years of only watching the infamous omurice action in animes, Kyuramen made my wish come true iRL. I ordered Omurice Tonkatsu (Demi glazed) with Thai Tea and danced in my seat with every single bite. The omurice had corn, meat, and onions inside for those who are curious . The decor was top tier ( book a private room for a more intimate vibe) and the Thai tea was served in the cutest cups . Not to mention great service because they knew I'd want to film the reveal and they were so chill about it. The menu offers hella options so I will be back to try the ramen burgers soon!

Came here to try the omurice and only that, but also added on a lobster chashu balls as appetizers. Honestly, a fantastic value meal. 2 omurice (one with pork katsu) + the appetizer + 2 drinks came out to a little less than $75 after tax and tip. The service was also really quick; the dishes came out extremely quick, but the order was a bit weird (omurice, then appetizer, then omurice). Demiglace omurice (4/5): This was my favorite... demiglace is the omurice you should get if you could only try one. The sauce was hearty, beefy and savory, and the egg was cooked to perfection and extremely fluffy. My only complaint is the rice is a bit bland and could have had more meat. It was very one dimensional and lowkey tasted microwaved. Curry omurice w/ pork katsu (2/5): Same comment about the rice, but the curry sauce was NOT it. It tasted a lot worse than store bought curry -- flavorless and one dimensional. It also does not pair well with the egg, and has a spice that does not complement the dish. Pork katsu was also not fantastic. Lobster Chashu Ball (3.5/5): This appetizer was good in that it was super refreshing! Its cold meat stuffed inside a thin shell, and it's fun to eat; nothing out of the world though. Drinks were a bit sweet, especially the thai iced tea. Overall, glad I came and tried the omurice, but not sure I would come again.

Ok I've been putting off going to this Japanese spot for years and I finally made it. For one, the place is really nice. It definitely can be a date night spot. I've been drooling over pictures of their Omurice. I love rice with gravy on any dish. Especially the way they present it to you by cutting the egg open and letting it just fall and covering it with that delicious gravy. It came with some pork also. But man was it delicious. I could not stop eating. Every fork full was just a ummmm in my head. I was so upset when I was finished and wanted more. Walking in the place they are very pleasant and get you to a seat quick unless it's packed. But the presentation of cutting the egg and pouring the gravy for you in front of you is some of the greatest customer service you can get. I will be back..

WOW! Absolutely delicious all around! One of my favorite spots for ramen. I stopped by once again today and was thrilled to see a brand new menu!! I've attached photos below for reference of all the new items. Great service, music, ambience, and more! If you can, reserve a private back room ahead of time--highly recommend for celebrating a big event :). Btw - Check-in on yelp for a free ice cream dessert!

Cute spot, be sure to make a reservation! Loved that they had private tables in the back (although not very soundproof). I was worried they wouldn't have omurice since I didn't see any recent photos on here, but can confirm they have it! The omurice took a bit longer than the rest of our food, but the beauty of the eggo speaks for itself. Fluffy and perfectly half-cooked like I hoped it be. Flavor-wise, however, I thought the dish was good but not spectacular. The rice under the egg is not super flavorful, and curry is not as dimensional or tasty as I'd hoped. The dish is quite large though and very filling (I ate it for two meals). Also special shoutout to the "amazing lemonade". I didn't expect anything (you have to order either a lemonade or thai iced tea with the omurice as a combo), but the cucumber + lemon flavors were great and paired so well with my omurice. Overall, I'd try it for the novelty of the egg! I wouldn't be opposed to come back, but it's not my top restaurant.

We were sat really quickly in a private booth and the food came out fast! The taste was yummy and the portions were pretty large. Would recommend to anyone looking for a hot and savory meal after a really cold day :)

Perfect spot on a cold winter's day. Came here for a late lunch (3pm) and was seated straight away. Lots of different types of ramen to choose from. I stuck to the original and also ordered the fried chicken rice burger. Ramen was nice and tasty with good broth. The fried chicken burger was also pretty good, the chicken well marinated and served with great mayo. Icing on the cake was free dessert for checking in with Yelp. I was given the option of Thai ice tea or matcha pudding with red beans. Opted for the pudding and have no regrets.

Decent spot for a quick dinner with minimal wait times (at least on the weekdays). The ramen was solid, but pretty standard. My friends liked the omurice. Service was fast but wish they brought out all our main dishes at the same time. You can do a free Thai tea or matcha pudding if you check in on Yelp which is cool.

Came here and only waited about 10 mins for bar seating! I got the honeycomb platter and it took about 15 mins longer than my friend's ramen to come out. It was good! I just wish they gave soy sauce or something to dip it in. The lobster chashu ball was the best part of the platter!

The food was very good! I feel like the bulgogi sandwich was very unique! It was a take on American style burger but it was made with rice and bulgogi! The sweat potato fries that come with the meal were very good as well! What hit me by surprised was not just the unique Japanese bulgogi burger but the lemonade that came with it! It was not just lemon but also some kind of Japanese cucumber mixed in the drink. It made the drink so much more refreshing than an average lemonade! I would come here again to try other things on the menu. I would at least recommend trying out the bulgogi burger for its uniqueness!

Ramen is a favorite of mine and this place was a disappointment. I ordered the number 1 with black garlic and my girlfriend ordered the number 6. Both were very bland and the portion of veggies was very small. The noodle portion was decent, but they were lacking flavor. It didn't sit well with either of our stomachs either. The egg was the best part! It was open late which is why we stopped in, but I now wish we didn't.

Came on a Wednesday for two around 11:45am and were seating right away. I got the #2 Kyushu Tonkotsu Shio Ramen with black garlic. Broth was packed full of umami flavor without being too salty. Pork was tender and the marinated egg was soft boiled to perfection. Great for a quick lunch. FYI check-in on Yelp to get a free ice cream and if you pay by cash there's a 8% discount on your check.

Great ramen spot with tasty broth and great service! Everything you would expect and want from a NYC ramen spot and I can't speak to the authenticness, but i can speak to the flavors! Ramen is a great dish to enjoy for a solo diner, and was sat immediately at the bar. It was quite fun watching the cooks at work. Enjoyed my shoyu ramen with pork belly. Lots of great noodles, plenty of tasty pork belly, and a perfectly poached egg. The ice cold Sapporos paired so nicely. Glad this place caught my attention as the whole menu looked very good and always great having a ramen place that isn't standing room only to get in for a quick bite.

I had a great time here! I got the curry ramen which was so delicious and tasted just like my favorite Japanese dish but in ramen form. I'd also recommend getting the Thai iced tea and the pan fried dumplings. The service here is amazing and they answered all of our questions. The seating is a bit squished here compared to other locations but they do have private seating in the back!

Found this place as I was about to head home. Decided to stop by since I noticed they are open til 1am. I had the vegetable ramen, it was pretty good but not enough vegetables for me. I wished I would've tried the bao buns but i was pretty full. The location is quite small, good for late night dinner or munchies. Service was pretty fast as well.

Came here for the first time with my friend. Not a big ramen person but decided to give it a try. My friend and I got sat down instantly and shared the shrimp tempura and each got a ramen bowl. My bowl was the "Spicy Couple" so 2 different spicy broths with one side having pork and the other with shrimp. It was very good and very filling. My friend can't eat pork so she got the chicken ramen. They do have a deal on Yelp which is if you check in you get a free Thai iced tea so I took the deal. Towards the end we felt like we were being a bit rushed to leave cause it was approaching prime dinner time so I had to finish up my meal quick. But overall not a bad place to get some good ramen with a decent price and lively vibe.

Order ramen for a late lunch. Broth was well seasoned. Wait staff were quick and friendly. Appreciated the quiet dining area. There were a few people sitting on the stools in front of the cooking area. 2-3 tables also enjoying the quiet atmosphere.

Kyuramen usually has decent ramen but this particular evening was lack luster. This is my second visit because the first time (during the day) I had the Japanese tonkatsu curry, which was delicious. The broth was well seasoned and prepared for other ingredients. Yet my second visit this evening wasn't consistent. The booths apparently were closed at 11pm but I arrived at 10:15pm. To add, there were a few people there but there was definitely booths open, with no reservation for my party of two, and there was no notice or nothing in writing about reservations. The staff just wanted to close the private booths early, mind you, the place close at 1am. There was no reason to close the booths at 10:00pm. The experience for my guest kept declining after we agreed with main dining room. Furthermore, the ramen was not consistent. The broth wasn't as seasoned as before. The dumplings were too charred. We tried the seasonings but were too spicy for my throat. We didn't finish our meal. It was unfortunate that the chefs were off this evening and gave my guest first experience a lack luster one. The staff were nice and only could accommodate best they could. Lastly, I did try the matcha pudding, it was decent. Don't think it was worth the price listed. I recommend visiting this place during the weekday afternoons. The food seems much better at certain times with chefs.

On a stroll through the city bike riding I passed by this place. I love me some ramen so I figured why not, let's give it a shot. The service was warmly welcoming, coming into the establishment. The decor is very attracting to the eyes so I love that. The service was very nice & friendly, they came very quickly in a timely manner. The food they have is exceptionally amazing especially for the price. My favorite of them all are the bao bun & the spicy ramen. If you're looking for a great choice of ramen, this is definitely the place to be

Went here on a rainy day with no reservations around 730pm on a Saturday by myself. I was able to get a seat at the bar, overlooking the kitchen. It was kinda busy. All of the tables were taken. I heard about this place through Instagram reels, so I had to try it since the combo looked good. I ordered the CP #2 Spicy Couple: Sapporo Miso + Spicy Tonkotsu but made it a combo. A combo comes with a pork bao and Vietnamese iced tea. The soup is medium spicy and I like that I had two options of ramen. The bao was reallllyyyyy good and thick! Totally worth the price. My order took really long and my server, Ming, kept checking on me and apologizing. It was not a big deal but I'm glad they were aware that it took longer than expected. To make up for the delay, they gave me two extra shrimp tempuras on the side. Overall great service and yummy food!

Ai yai yai! The noodles were ok, passable. The rest of the ramen was just value added products, products ready to plate, no need to prep. The broth was not rich at all, and wasn't even hot, all the broths we had super spicy miso wasn't so spicy, tonkotsu didn't have depth at all, veggie was weird. Gyoza was the worst, not housemade gyoza, when you try to make the hanasaki batter spread, it is suppose to be crunchy, thin, and light. It was soggy, the gyoza is basic frozen ones that have bad flavors. Popcorn chicken very chinese/taiwanese in flavors. Desserts from combo for 2, sakura jelly and matcha pudding, was far from the name.

Our first visit in awhile after the horrible experience we had at Marafuku Ramen further south. We waited not too long for a table, sitting amongst the delivery guys (this was during the week). We skipped ordering appetizers as we knew, from experience, the ramen would hit the spot (we order more maybe during the winter). When we were ready to order, after being seated, though I had to grab the attention of our waiter, though he was hovering near us. I requested the free dessert with check in, guessing that if you don't do it then and there, you may forfeit it or something. I'm not sure that was the case because our waiter's English wasn't the greatest, and the QR code at the table wasn't doing what it was supposed to so I had to check in twice on my phone. I forgot what was available but it wasn't what was listed on the standing table sign for some reason (some type of jelly and matcha pudding) so I just went with what I remembered the waiter mentioning ("ice cream") which seemed unproblematic. The ramen were perfect: hearty soup with filling sides. As I ate I thought about making ramen at home, which we all sometimes to, right, but never seems to happen because of places like Kyuramen! Anyway, when the mass-produced Nestle cone came, I was disappointed, though my partner was not. (In Japanese restaurants, ice cream usually comes in a small dish.) I am curious to see what the matcha pudding would be but I'm also afraid it'll come mass-produced too unlike what the photo in the menu suggests.

Love how some Japanese restaurants are so introvert-coded, lot of bar seating here. I was craving omurice and this place happened to be in the vicinity. Taste 8.5/10 Service & Experience 10/10 Would go again, highly recommend.

Honestly, the service was lackluster and the ramen was bland. On the other hand I highly recommend the octopus balls and fried oysters, they were magnificent. The waiter was not attentive and harassed us for a tip after giving us a subpar customer service experience.

I came here on a weekday for dinner and was immediately seated with no wait or reservation. They have table seating and bar seating, where you get to see them making the ramen at the bar. The servers were attentive and my ramen came out really quickly within a few minutes of me ordering. I got the tonkotsu signature ramen which was really good! I loved the toppings it came with (corn, seaweed, a perfectly jammy egg, bamboo, etc). The broth was flavorful and the pork was my favorite! It was nice and tender and wasn't too dry or chewy. The Thai iced tea was really sweet but delicious! The noodles themselves could've had more flavor cooked into them to make them perfect, but overall everything was really good here. If I'm in the area and looking for ramen, I'd definitely come back.

I tried the tonkotsu shouyu ramen, which was rich and flavorful, with the perfect balance of saltiness and umami. The noodles were cooked just right and the pork belly was tender. I also tried the omurice with demi glace. The omelet was fluffy, and the demi glace added a touch of meaty flavor to the dish. The portion size of the dishes are definitely shareable. The service was attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere was cozy. I appreciated the option to check in on Yelp and receive a complimentary matcha pudding. The staff saw the check in on my phone screen and brought out the pudding before I had the chance to show it to them. That's great service in my opinion!

Great Ramen. This place is very consistent in the flavor of its broth. If you are in the Union Square area and looking for a quick lunch, this is the place. The service is quick and professional. The place is small but its layout is very practical.

I had been to Kyuramen previously for the ramen soup, which was very good. Last night I had the pork gyoza and the izakaya. The gyoza were very good. The skewered items, however, were so disappointing and not good at all. They were basically tasteless, with no evidence of having been seasoned or marinated. Also, the quality of the skirt steak, pork belly and chicken thigh seemed to be inferior, and so were very tough to chew. If I return, it will be for the ramen soup, for sure.
