TLDR: All aesthetics, no eats. If the camera were your taste buds, it'd be well fed. Small portions, very salty, and unreasonable order of food. Perhaps the worst was how each dish reminded me of airplane food.

Kyuramen x TBaar were definitely one of those trending on social media, and my friends unfortunately roped me into trying it. On a Friday night, the wait time was about 30 minutes. The first thing I noticed was the amazing layout - props to that interior design team!
After being sat and enjoying their hexagonal booths, nice lighting contrast, and woody theme, I realized how punctual and present the staff were in refilling our waters and in taking orders. For myself, I had their Yinyang Bowl, which advertised "Double the Flavor" of Tonkotsu Shouyu and Miso Ramen. This bowl was perhaps the most salty broth I've had in a while. The chashu pork was not only thin but even saltier (!)
My friends had their Japanese Omurice combo, and we had both their Demi Glaze sauce and Curry Sauce with Thai iced teas. The meat for both Omurice were scant at best, but undoubtedly dry. The Thai iced tea was a standard sweetness, not too exciting.
Outside of these, the biggest disappointment was their Takoyaki appetizer. For starters, this came out after the ramen... in what world would one serve an appetizer after an entree? The takoyaki was also mostly air on the inside, with a generous smothering of sauce but barely a bite of octopus.
Between the taste and the premium that this comes for, I cannot confidently recommend Kyuramen to any of my friends. However, I will admit one thing... those aesthetics are worth coming for. The food? Not so much.
