Kyushu

Stationed in Japan Honshu area for about four years then moved to Kyushu area. My eyes have never been cleared and more opened living in the country side was this beautiful. Definitely retiring here if I get the chance.

Beautiful island, nice scenery, lots of volcanoes and hot springs. Japan is easily one of the most beautiful countries in the world, and certainly one that I will keep visiting again and again.

Drove from Kagoshima to the main island. Wide, varied environments with cities dug into the jungle mountainside in the south, resembling a comfy fantasy scene. Rolling hills and lovely drives towards the middle. Fukoka is a modern up and coming city with a great food scene. People were incredibly friendly. The only reason I can't rate the island five stars is it is difficult to navigate without taking the toll-road. Winding roads that quickly wear on you.

In the 80's I was down there with the Japanese self defense forces....for something official...can't remember what. Anyway, nice people. We had to dress in civilian clothes while off base....but of course everyone knew we were American GI's. Loved the place.

Its a very very nice place to visit if you never gone Out of the coutry before and lots of beautiful and wonderful places to go and explore and i loved every moment of it and i really recommend it to all the people out there that want to visit here and another thing i really wanted to talk about is that what makes kyushu, japan a woderful and rich culture was there amazing ,delicious and. There mouth watering food it was so yummy i wanted more than seconds but thats all i have to say about this beautiful island of kyushu, japan.
