Like others I didn’t want to write a review as we don’t want this to become known by everyone but they did such a great job during our stay. The valet and bell team greeted us and welcomed us in a way we knew we were going to enjoy our stay. Front desk took great care of us and were very helpful and informative. The room was outstanding. Family travel meant we took a corner suite and we could not have been happier. The room was beautiful with a fantastic view of the river and the Chicago skyline. The team was amazing throughout our stay and we look forward to staying on our next trip to Chicago.

As someone who’s previously worked in hotels, I do appreciate the effort that the majority of the staff put in to help guests have a great stay. I stayed on July 10-12 and the hotel service was good enough. The bar and restaurant service though, was spectacular. Loved seeing some crew from the previous Kimpton brand. There were outstanding crew from the front desk, and I wish I got their names. The bell and doormen were fantastic. They were a couple front desk staff, however, that could improve their in person interaction. The written communication through the text messaging system, needs a LOT of work, but if their management expects the team to write extremely casual text messages as if guests are friends, then you would understand. But I don’t think hotel written communications should be like this. Room cleanliness level was good and the housekeeping staff were great. Overall, the hotel has good service and a great location.

I absolutely will be staying here again! A friend and I came in from Texas for a concert and this was one of the best hotels we've stayed at! Staff was super helpful and sweet, especially that blond bombshell at the front desk, Alex I believe ♡ The room was clean and welcoming, we were on the top floor and the view was great! I will have to come back and stay here again because the location is prefect for exploring chicago attractions! We were like a 7 minute walk from The Bean and major shopping areas, even close to the red line so commuting was a breeze.

The hotel room was clean, stylish, and had a charming modern touch—I really enjoyed my stay. If possible, I’d recommend choosing a river view room. The view is lovely, and the window-side step is perfect for enjoying a coffee or reading a book. The staff were all very kind, and I appreciated the quality of the drinks and amenities provided. If I had to mention one small downside, it would be that the gym was a bit too small.

We have discovered our new favorite hotel in Chicago. The staff was so welcoming and seemed sincerely pleased that we chose to stay at their hotel. Antonio was especially helpful and a pleasure to talk to. Our room was very spacious and quiet. The hotel is in an excellent location, anything you need is in walking distance. We'll be back next year.

Fabulous location! Wonderful service! Great restaurant attached! Right on the river and close everything! The rooms are spacious! And I loved the hydrating facial masks included in the bathroom. There's a free coffee bar in the lobby and cold towels to welcome you in this 95° heat.

Great location and the rooms were nice. However, our view was a wall. This would be fine, but it was a cumulation of little things that were irksome. One, they said upon arrival that you get a facial towel to welcome you. Nope. The view was not great and they were not fully booked for the two nights we stayed. We asked for a late check out at 1:30 pm. They said they would have to charge us $75. I'm sorry, but that's cheesy. We spent a lot more than similar properties to stay in a Lotte since we had a good experience in NYC with one. Should have stayed in one of the other ones. We even checked out 15 minutes early and I asked if they could waive the fee. Nope. I'm sorry but if you're going to nickel and dime then you better offer an amazing experience. As far as the rooms, they are well kept up. Water pressure isn't the worst but not the best either. Overall, they were nice rooms. I would stay again for the location and rooms but not for the service.

I stayed at L7 over the 4th of July weekend and I have to say this stay was one of the best experiences I have ever had at a hotel. Every single staff person that I encountered was a 10/10. One of my absolute favorites was the bellhop, Vincent. He was soooo kind and I loved that he was greeting guests, including myself, by name. This made me feel extra safe because it's clear he is paying attention to who is coming in and out. The aesthetic throughout the hotel, but especially in the lobby, was beautiful. They offer unlimited coffee/lattes and tea in the lobby as well. The room assigned to us was very spacious and I love that they provided face masks! It's the little details that stand out for me. You MUST eat at the Korean Steakhouse attached to the hotel (Perilla). The food was AMAZING. I had breakfast there but I wish went for dinner as well. The location is absolutely perfect, being steps away from the river walk. We were placed on the highest floor which was soooo nice because that never happens for me lol. It is a pet friendly hotel so do keep that in mind. I personally did not have any issues, but not all people are animal lovers. Overall, this was a 10/10 stay and the only hotel that I will book when returning to Chicago. Thank you L7 staff!!!

Yelp
Came here for my trip to Chicago, and made my reservations through Cap One for Kimptom Monaco, however L7 purchased the hotel and we're making the switch that day! Upon entering the hotel D greeted me and welcomed me in. The desk staff were so great. Dealing with new systems and a lobby of guests, checkin was a breeze. I was early for checkin and not sure if a room would be ready so I asked for a river view room, as I didn't mind waiting for one to come available. I was told rooms weren't yet ready but they could accommodate and it would be ready in an hour! I decided to leave my bags and off I went to explore the city! Returning a few hours later, Antonio and desk staff (whose names I didn't get :/ ) greeted me and told me my room was ready to go! Antonio whisked me away to my room and brought my luggage in. The room was stunning! The view was even more spectacular! As a mostly suburban girl, I rarely ever stay downtown, and I'm glad I did! There was a sitting area in the bay window, which I spent a lot of my time in, gazing out at the city lights while catching up on some zzz's and movies! Super walkable to absolutely everything from food, to sites, clubs, and trains. I throughly enjoyed my stay here. They are still doing some construction on the downstairs lobby for the restaurant, but they have another lobby on 3rd floor for coffee, pastries etc. Excited to come back and visit again, and would definitely stay here again!!

Yelp
As former guests of the Kimptom Monaco, we were accustomed to exceptional quality and excited to try the new L7 Chicago by Lotte for our weekend getaway. The guests rooms are newly remodeled, spacious with tall ceilings and beautiful attention to details. The bay window padded seating was so inviting for a cup of tea and my book, plus a view of the river. The front desk staff were friendly and accomodating to our needs; check-in was a breeze. It looks like the lobby renovations are close to finish and, from our peek-in, will be gorgeous. Can't wait to come back for the unveiling!
