The torta birria con queso is very good. The bread is soft and doesn't distract from the flavor of the birria. The cheese helps hold it all together. The consome is full of flavor and extra meat. I like the torta so much that it's the only thing I've tried so far, but they cook their meat over a wood coal fire and the tacos look really good too. The food is good quality and a decent portion. This small, open kitchen taqueria delivers.

Wow, it was the best birria I had in my life! Especially the birria tortas with cheese was perfect! I also had quesadilla with birria, it was also good. Service was really friendly. Nice and chill vibe inside with good music. We only have 2 more days in the city but we will definitely be back.

Good place to get you out of a pinch when you're hungry. The food is cheap and delicious, they have Boing juices which is a plus, however the flavor isn't that authentic so if you're looking for an authentic gastronomic experience I recommend going to a street stall. I tried the quesibirrias with consomé, it's one of my favorite things so I give it a 10/10, the area and everything is very beautiful too, The only problem I could mention is that it takes a while for things to arrive; I think it took 10-15 minutes to get from the drinks to the food.

I believe this one is a Michelin Guide/Reco. The food was great! Especially the birria! We went before office people come out so luckily we got a table in an instant. The sirloin was okay, probably won't order again. Go for the birria its worth it! Their sauces are hot so be careful.

Bring on the heat with delicious tacos and tortas from La Ochenta y Nueve. A hip taco joint in the heart of Roma CDMX. Beware of the hot sauces. They come packed with heat. All the tacos are amazing. Enjoy

This restaurant will secretly be your favourite dining experience in Mexico City - mostly because it is a hole-in-the-wall serving unpretentious, accessible & delectable dishes. Don’t take my word for it, take a visit, read the reviews, all of their accolades are earned, worth it and probably only tell part of the story.

Literally the best mexican food I’ve ever had. Ordered the mulita, quesabirria, diezmillo de waygu and quesataco - honestly could not tell you which one I lkke best. A MUST GO IF YOU ARE IN CDMX!!!
