The cutest little bakery with the most authentic Parisian pastries and bread. I got the Brie, fig jam, and arugula sandwich and WOW so freaking good. I air fried it for 2 minutes the next day and it was still perfect. My friend and I also shared an almond chocolate croissant and firework did go off in my brain. If you’re gluten free try the Pave bread! Highly recommend!

Good selection of baked goods. Favorites were the chocolate croissant and the ham and cheese baguette. Ham and cheese croissant was cold. Was told because of the health code. Never heard of that before.

I’ve been going to Bien Cut on smith for years. Stumbled into this place this AM and was BLOWN AWAY by their prices for loaves. A baguette was $2 and most of their other loaves were under $6. That’s the kind of price you’d expect to pay in Paris. Bien Cut charges 3x. Highly recommend coming here.

What a gem! The pastry and croissant may very well have been the best things I've ever tasted. Even the coffee was exceptional. Add to this a very courtious, happy staff!

It was disappointing that the sandwich I wanted was not prepared for the day and or sold out. It was offered by staff for the sandwich to be made for me , which I accepted. It took WAY TOO LONG for such a simple sandwich to be made - which was ice box cold and haphazardly compiled and a messy presentation. It would have been better for them to have 86'd the item with an apology. Maybe next time

if i could give this place no stars i would service is so awful i came in asking for their ham and cheese croissant this place expects you to pay $9 for a cold food item that they are unable to heat up but to cook the item they have to heat it up to begin with. mind you there is a brick oven behind the counter this place is just a joke. and when i asked if i could heat it up the woman said you can do whatever you want but we are unable to heat it up.

Great bakery. But when they modify the sugar brioche (which always sold out by 10am) to a brioche without sugar, they poo-pooed their customers. Seems one way to conquer inflation is to charge the same price for lesser products.

Baguette and almond croissant were great! Maybe it was an off day, but croissant was burnt.

Came here because we had some time to kill. I honestly had no idea what to order, do they even have a drinks menu? Aside from the layout and not so accessible menu, I still enjoyed the salami and arugula baguette sandwich that I got. It pleasantly surprised me how fresh and flavorful the ingredients were. Hope you guys put up some more signage so people know what to order!

I love french bakeries so much! I was happy to learn about this bakery + that it was actually very close to the Trader Joe's I go to. We ordered so much items to share: 1) $2 fresh baguette, 2) 2 baguette sandwich (ham+cheese & arugula brie w/ jam), 3) apero baguette (ham&cheese variation), 4) almond choco croissant, 5) choco croissant), 6) croissant, 7) choco roule, 8) chasson aux pommes, 9) apricot oreillon, 10) financier, 11) berry danish, 12) pear almond. We also ordered 1 iced latte + 1 hot latte. Baguette - I have tried many different baguettes in NYC + this one was pretty good and for a good price ($2). But it isn't the best baguette I have tried - I recently tried the laminated baguette from Alf's Bakery + that was mind blowing. Baguette sandwich - The ham+cheese one was good, but the star was the arugula brie w/ jam one! Apero baguette (ham & cheese variation) - This one was pretty good when toasted. I see more cheese pieces on it than ham. Almond choco croissant - Out of all 3 croissants I tried, this one was my favorite. Soft & great flavors! Choco croissant - This one was good, but not the best I have eaten so far. Croissant - The one was good, and also not the best I have eaten so far. Choco roule - It was good but not my most favorite Chasson aux pommes - If you like to eat things that are similar to an apple pie, then you would like this. This item was one of my favs from here. Apricot oreillon - delicious! This apricot pastry was yum! Financier - I would skip this item. It was ok. Berry danish - not much berry or cream in this pastry. It was ok. Pear almond - it was quite tasty. The lattes were standard. Staff were friendly + there is indoor area to sit down and eat your pastries.

Drawn in by the long lines on weekend mornings. Everything looks delicious and a homemade baguette for $2 is great. On the other hand, a ham and cheese croissant for ...$9! How can this be when a chocolate croissant is $4.50? Please take some of that $9 and apply it to some interior paint, as it still looks like old Sal's Pizzeria.

Lovely staff, lovely bakery and delicious pastries. What a treat for a Sunday morning. Would highly recommend popping in here if you're nearby and want some fab bread (at only $2 a baguette) and tasty pastries

I came for Sunday breakfast in a recommendation from my cousins. Once again, they did not let me down. We lucky only had a couple people infront of us inline and were able to snag two of the limited seats in the back. Definitely plan for this to be a grab and go situation as the line grew after we got our food. We got two of their prepared sandwiches and this is probably the best baguette I've ever had. Both sandwiches were immediately devoured. I especially liked the Brie, fig jam, and arugula sandwich but the crunch from the cornichons was also superb. The pastries and coffee are also really great.

stopped in recently and had some delicious baked goods. the ham and cheese, although cold, was delicious. the financier was great. I forget what baguette sandwich we had but that was also delicious. Would definitely return to try more

Repeat after me... croissant. Au pain chocolat.. baguette..are you feeling French? Oui ? Do you know the difference between a patisserie and a viennoiserie? You say macaroon I say macaron? You say patisserie is a confectionery that sells sweets like eclair and a viennoiserie is a Boulangerie that sells breads like brioche and baguette? You are correct! La Bicyclette has been on my bucket list for some time.. however, every time I've tried to visit, especially Driggs Avenue location, it's closed. The bakery operates between 8am-1pm and for some reason I just can't make it there. Well not today, I was determined to visit its Court Street location and I was extremely lucky because I made it there by noon. Court Street is my old stomping ground when I used to live in Brooklyn Heights and walked to Cobble Hill Cinemas where this bakery is close to. The shop is small but cozy with wooden seating in the back where you can sit and enjoy your treat. I viewed the pastry case and knew I wanted to try the apple tart and an iced coffee. I asked if they carried flavored coffees and they don't thus I ordered a cold brew with a touch of simple syrup. The cold brew was okay not great.. it tasted a bit sour. I took a small bite of the apple tart and it was delicious. I love the packaging with the bicycle on it. As I sipped my brew, patrons were lined up and waiting to purchase baguettes, brioche and sportif (bread made out of rye garnished with almonds, figs, prunes, apricots). Thus, definitely a Boulangerie I expect will be a future go to.. the ambience is warm, very friendly staff and the pastries look wonderful and tempting. Repeat after me.. how to say fabulous in French? Fabuluex.. that is what La Bicyclette is!

Woke up early to head to the bakery before all of their goodies were sold out. I thought it was one of the most beautiful pastries I've ever had.

In an area rich in French bakeries, this has become our go to baguette place. They are the perfect texture, taste and price. We've had both types and they are magnifique! The pastries are also delicious! Highly recommend

Fresh pastries, very friendly staff, but as a member of this community for quite some time- it still very much looks like Sals Pizzeria that was there before them. They need a few interior and exterior changes to really make their new name in the community. Even the outdoor awning is the same color as the pizzerias was. Another suggestion is some more seating. This neighborhood thrives on casual hangouts for our old timers and new comers. ESPECIALLY being across the street from our well known Le French Tart Bakery, you guys have some competition as it is! Some outdoor seating would make you stand out for sure. Lastly, please get the front door fixed. It is SUPER HEAVY and hard to open, and I'm strong ! Quality of treats here are fresh and baked new everyday- so I will be back for sure. But my suggestions would increase my rating... I will give you guys some more time to settle in and edit my review! Congrats and welcome to the neighborhood

We stumbled upon this corner bakery in Caroll Gardens. Beautiful croissants and pastries! We got an apricot croissant, flaky buttery goodness! And savory chorizo onion cheese fougassie, crispy scrumptious ness!

Adding a third offspring to their family, this artisanal bakery is really spreading their joyous joie de vivre. They produce one of the best baguettes in the city, with its crusty exterior yielding to a textural crumb. Their regular and seasonal viennoiseries are classical yet creative with their add ins. No shortcuts are used to create these darlings. As much as I love my sweets, the breads are were my love lies.

La Bicyclette has the most delicious fresh croissants. I was first mesmerized by the ham and cheese croissant, then I came back the next two days to try the almond and the chocolate (they also have a combination chocolate almond and a variety of other flavors if you're feeling adventurous). Although there is no indoor seating, there are a few spots to sit outside, including the two benches out front on Court St. Their drip coffee is strong, and their employees are always amiable.

Delicious bakery with the perfect ambiance and staff! Baguettes are light and airy but just chewy enough.

Delicious baguettes for only $2. Everything we have tried here has been stellar. Super friendly staff. More than I can say for the French spot across the street. This is our new spot. Happy to have it in the neighborhood!
