My husband and I had the pleasure of dining here tonight! Everything was amazing from the food to the service. You can tell the owner truly cares about his business and his customers. Our server Donna was great! Very attentive and knowledgeable. My husband had the Piedmontese steak and I had the seafood pasta. We had the calamari as an appetizer and crème brulee for dessert. Outstanding!! Even the bread, bean salad and the red pepper puree/oil for dipping was delicious. The bread was very fresh. Highly recommend!! Can’t believe we haven’t tried this place sooner.

Food and service exceptional!!!! Our host Mr. Joe was amazing, he could tell the ingredients of all the mocktails making it easy to pick from. The seafood pasta was mind blowing, also the seabass entree - Spigola e Fungi. This place has become my favorite Italian food spot!!!!! 🫶

We went here for a date night and showed up a little early. The staff kindly offered us a spot at the bar while waiting for our table, but since there was a high table available in the bar area with live music, we decided to sit there — and we’re glad we did! The atmosphere was lovely and the music added a nice touch. We started with the Arancini alla Ermini and Lemon Gambas, both of which were absolutely delicious. For our main course, we shared the Vitello alla Marsala and a Parmesan Risotto. The veal was flavorful and well prepared, but the risotto was a bit of a letdown — it tasted very heavy on cream, more like mac and cheese than a traditional Italian risotto. Service was okay overall, but we noticed some small details that didn’t quite match the restaurant’s price point. For example, our server handed us the wine while holding dirty plates, which just didn’t feel right for the level they’re going for. All in all, it was a pleasant evening with good food and a nice ambiance, but the experience leaned more toward Americanized Italian than authentic Italian cuisine.

We have been dining here for 20 years. Our family has had rehearsal dinners here in the past and we love the piano bar. In our opinion, it is the best restaurant in the area. The service is excellent and the food is even better. Jerry always makes us feel welcome. I would be shocked if someone ate here and didn't love it.

Attentive and friendly staff, upscale but unintimidating decor, and delicious food. The calamari was outstanding, veg was perfect, portions were large. If I had room I might have enjoyed the New York strip or ribeye more than the tenderloin; I wasn't asked about doneness and to my taste it came a touch on the medium side of medium-rare, but still delicious. Overall well worth the visit and a throwback to a time when the obvious care that every level of staff puts into this restaurant was not so hard to find.

What an awesome place, it's an italian grill restaurant , but they feature some of the best steaks i've ever had, i had the rib eye, it was amazing.It had zippy sauce on it.It's a michigan thing. I had to try a bowl pasta on the side.Because it was an italian restaurant and let me say, it didn't disappoint, outstanding. I would definitely go back to this place and would highly recommend it. The Service was stellar, the atmosphere was amazing.We went there for a business dinner.But the gentleman we took with us said it was romantic , and he would take his wife there next time. I look forward to going back when I'm in the area.Thank you for an excellent time.

Reservation for 8pm on Friday night. Arrived at 7:55pm and we were seated immediately. Everything was top notch.. excellent old fashioned. Hands down, best escargot I’ve ever had. Our server Joe was professional and amazing, best service we have had at any restaurant in a very long time. Both pasta dishes we had for our entrees were excellent as well. We will definitely be back again. Oh and they had live music as well, another bonus! 5 stars all around 👍🏻

Truly the best dining experience I've had! From the time we walked through the door, our server Michael took care of us with the utmost care and respect. Our food was absolutely fantastic, as were the drinks. If you are looking to treat yourself, this is the place. The ambiance with the food and service makes you feel like you're on another planet! (The food was too delicious to take pictures before we dug in!)

We went here for my husband's birthday tonight 11/22/25 and had an amazing time! From the start, the host was super friendly and so fun to chat with! The ambiance was very mellow and the service was fantastic! Our servers name was Stacie and she gave us the most relaxing experience! She was so knowledgeable about the menu and very quick with drinks and appetizers. All around 10/10 experience!

It was our first time here for my friend's birthday dinner. I read some bad reviews and some good so we went with open mind. Ambience was very nice and it was quiet to carry conversation. Service was pretty good with enough staff. Not good part is quality of food and its pricing. House salad was just average. Calamari had mostly vegetables. Pasta (frutti di mare) was $38 but it didn't have much of seafood and with cream sauce - says pesto sauce but I didn't taste any pesto. Very disappointing dish. My husband ordered braised short rib. It came with a huge bone with a little meat. Over priced for quantity and quality of what you get. With all the good Italian restaurants in the area, I don't think we'll ever go back to this place.

Ate at bar and enjoyed great service from our bartender Christie. Food was marvelous. Bar had a great bourbon selection! Piano player was perfect

What a great place - my favorite We have been here many times and have always had awesome meals - you will not be disappointed. They have the best filet and great risotto and truffle mac & cheese. We really enjoy sitting in the bar area listening to Michael James on the piano on the weekends. Also Megan is a great bartender & server so we like sitting at the bar when she is working. I highly recommend you go here if you haven't already been here.

We were excited to try this restaurant but wow how disappointing it was. Everything we ordered must have been made ahead and heated in a microwave. The food was awful. It was pricey especially for the quality. Won't be returning.

First time here but was really impressed with both the ambience and the food. All first class!

We visited La Bistecca for a family birthday dinner. We anticipated the meal to be upscale, but the only thing that seems to make this place upscale it the price. The service is really the only thing that gets this place stars for us, the staff were great and they were willing to make a special request happen that wasn't on their menu. The ambiance felt like they stopped caring in 1982. Our meal unnecessarily took over 2.5 hours and, in total, it cost nearly $500 for three adults and two kids. Yes we had some wine, but for the quality of the food, the price tags are shocking. The calamari appetizer was almost entirely bell pepper strips. The spaghetti and linguini noodles were like something you can purchase in a grocery store. The green beans were not cooked at all (and I understand the idea of having them be crisp still, but they were barely even warm.) The shrort rib was mostly fat. The sea bass and polenta were flavorless- the broth that it sat in tasted like someone put a cup of salt into a quarter cup of brown water. The only food that anyone at our table enjoyed were the few meager strips of actual calamari, the escargot, and that special request I mentioned earlier- an item that wasn't on the menu. There is something to be said when an item that is not on the menu is the best dish they make. I really wanted to like the place, and am grateful the staff made it a nice time, but I cannot in good conscience recommend the price tag of this place to anyone, unless throwing money around is your jam.

Disappointed this time but look forward to a better return next time. I probably should've said something to the owner at the end of the evening when he came by to see how everything was but at that point we just needed to leave and I didn't wanna make a big issue. As it was, my son had to leave after 2 hours and missed dessert. Service was friendly but slow and not attentive. In prior visits service has been so much better. The kitchen was even slower unfortunately. The escargot appetizer was exceptional. The premium shrimp appetizer was perfectly cooked. Wish they had a cold shrimp cocktail option. House salads were really bland this night and some salt would have helped. The special butternut squash soup was ok, but wasn't a hit. Entrees took a really long time to come out and the restaurant was not that crowded. The short rib was the best of the bunch. But it had been sitting under a warming area for a long time as the sauce on it had already developed a thin layer. The shrimp and scallop pasta dish had perfectly cooked seafood but a sweet taste to it that my wife did not care for. My daughter in law has a sweet tooth and loved it however. I ordered the 9 inch filet medium rare and it came out with no pink and dry. I considered sending it back, but it took so long to come out, I didn't want to make everybody wait as we had a place to go to after dinner. For $75 it should've been cooked perfectly. Very disappointed in the steak at any price. We sampled the lemon cello cake for dessert and it was very good. Good wine and cocktail selections at reasonable prices. Love the romantic Italian ambiance.

Truly a great experience. The service was attentive and professional, and the food was excellent, all served in a quiet dining room. The Piedmontese beef was exceptional and highly recommended. Try the Fillettini di Manzo alla Siciliana for a different preparation and a good value as well.

Had a very nice dinner at this tucked away fine dining establishment. It is off the beaten path of downtown plymouth but it had a nice old school ambiance and the food while pricey was very tasty. The cocktails were also top notch!

I walked out of Plymouth into Old Italy. Who knew this gem was hiding here for years?! A handful of friends recommended this place, so I thought it was a great place to celebrate my hubby's bday. I made reservations on Open Table. The tables are socially distance so reservations are a must. There is a bar and high tops as well if you end up walking in. We were seated at a beautiful table with fresh flowers. We had a great view of the dining room and the bar area. Great spot especially when the live music starts. Our waiter greeted us and was so attentive during our visit. We were provided complimentary bread, bean salad, and olive oil treat. We started off with calamari, which was amazing. It's a pretty large dish, so I probably wouldn't order again unless we went with a larger party. Our entree comes with a house salad, fresh veggies, and potatoes. So come hungry if you order appetizers! I forgot to mention we started off with a bottle of wine too. I'm a Cali wine lover and the selection here is AMAZING! We ordered a Justin Cab for the evening. For dinner, we ordered the salmon and the filet. This restaurant is known for the beef. Oh boy, this restaurant didn't disappoint. The filet was AMAZING!!!!! I let the restaurant know that it was my husband's bday when I made the reservation so I didn't say anything to the waiter. I wish I would have reminded them so we could have gotten a candle or something with our dessert... oh well! The dessert was amazing. I'll have to do a special birthday dessert when we get home too! For dessert, we had a chocolate flourless cake with cinnamon ice cream. You could have rolled us out of dinner. This restaurant is on the expensive side, so it was a great birthday treat. The server is incredible. We felt like the only people our server was waiting on. Come for the server and the food. You won't be disappointed!

Food was just ok but not what pricing would suggest. Table settings were a bit overdone, waitstaff was a bit overly attentive . That being said if the food would have been better the whole experience would have been more enjoyable. It felt like the over-attentive waitstaff and tablescapes were trying to detract from the mediocre food

We went on a weekday and the restaurant was busy. First time here as Trattoria was fully booked. Found this restaurant in yelp, got reservation immediately. Great tasting food and dining experience. It falls on the pricey side than the regular joint but they hold up to the quality of the food they deliver. I heard steaks are really good here. The atmosphere was dim and quiet. Very attentive service. Food was good, starting from the warm bread to our main entree. The bread was crusty and came with roasted pepper dipping sauce along with bean salad. The drinks were good and strong. I ordered Chicken Parmesan, by far the best chicken I have ever had. Chicken was flavorful and delicious. Pasta could have been better. Salmon Piccata was equally good and salmon was cooked to perfection. Potatoes were crisp and the asparagus was fresh. Both our meal came with House salad, it was okay-ish. I loved their roasted potatoes and relished every bite of the chicken. We had no room for dessert.

What a wonderful experience! The filet was butter knife tender and the veal was wonderful. If you are looking for a romantic date night this is your place. All of the staff will treat you like family while letting you enjoy a special night out. The piano bar is an added perk to the wonderful ambiance.

We found this restaurant while we were searching for a place to celebrate our anniversary. We are so glad that we found this great restaurant! We live in the neighborhood for many years without knowing this place. Everything, including the food, service, ambiance was perfect. We have visited various cities of Italy and go to Traverse City ("Trattoria Stella") every summer to enjoy Italian food. I am glad that we don't have to travel far to enjoy good Italian food. My husband and I arrived a little early before the door opens yesterday. The owner, Jerry, appeared and kindly let us in with a big smile. During the course of our dinner, he came to our table a few times to check in to see how things were going and told us stories behind the menus, which was great. The waitresses were very attentive and kind, and served us food and drink promptly, ensuring they were served in the best condition. We tried the Arrancini as an appetizer. It was the best Arranciti I ever had! Jerry told us that it was his family recipe with his grand father's name on it. The appetizer came with warm bread and beans salad, both tasted great. We did not have much room to eat the main dish, and decided to share the veal scallopini and loved it. The veal was flavorful and tender, potato was crispy and the green beans were fresh! We were almost full at that point, but enjoyed the dessert which they kindly offered to us. (The crème brûlée was also the best I ever had!) I don't write review so often but was very impressed with the restaurant, so would like to share my review with others. We will certainly visit La Bistecca again. The next time, I would like to try the beef steak. I should make myself hungry before heading to the restaurant. Thank you Jerry and all the staff at La Bistecca for letting us celebrate our anniversary with great food and services.

La Bistecca is excellent. Beautiful uoscale atmosphere, wonderful wine and cocktail selection and the food is excellent. For appetizers, try the escargot. The steaks are fantastic and so is the chicken parm. I was a little disappointed in the salmon, but that's not to say it wasn't good. Service is really good but almost a bit too attentive, meaning I felt like our server lingered a bit to close a bit too much. But that's certainly better than never coming around. It's pricy so be prepared for that All in all, a fantastic choice for a nice dinner out.

I visited based upon a customer's recommendation to come here for the chicken parmesan. It is hands-down, the best I've ever had in my life. I can't wait until the next time I come to town. You must give this place a try!

Outstanding restaurant all around! An 'old school' Italian restaurant feel that is anything from casual to swanky with knowledgeable waitstaff and phenomenal food! This is where I go for the best steak! All Piedmontese - and the filet is flavorful. And they have always been perfectly cooked. I brought 4 new friends with me a couple weeks ago and the bf. Six out of six positive reviews for everything we ordered! And also some live lounge music, at least on the weekends. I drive all the way from Royal Oak to this place!!

Well let me first off say that I've lived in the area my whole life and have known about this place but never went there for dinner. Decided to try it and let me say it's not most definitely my favorite Italian restaurant in the area by far. The atmosphere, service and food are all five star. I can't even begin to say how good the drive is and the live do playing music is also a very nice touch. If you get a chance definitely check this place out!

Took my mother out for a nice dinner, thought we would try this place after all these years. Our family always went to Station 885 and could have a good meal with reasonable prices. It was a sad day when it closed. The dinner at LA Bistecca was not good. My Mom order a pasta dish and it was tasteless. I ordered salmon which came out under cook and the veggies as well. I sent it back and the veggies were still not cook through and brought out the same piece of salmon cooked to death. The waitress was fantastic, very sweet, friendly working to make it right, just too bad the food was not great especially with the overwhelming prices. 19 dollars for a glass of wine. We also sat near the kitchen door and saw workers touching food without gloves on. I understand everyone needs to make a living, but there are alot of other places out where I live near where the food is upscale and wine at 9 to 11 dollars a glass not 19 dollars and up for good Italian wine. The desert and the cocktail were the only thing good beside the service.

Food is amazing. Steak out of the world and fun old school Italian restaurant. Highly recommend the beef or pasta. Salads are great Too!

Friday night we decided last minute to see if we could get a table. They didn't have a reservation available until later than we wanted so we decided to head in anyway and eat at the bar. We were seated at a high top in the bar (our preference anyway) and Kevin was our server. He really is the best. Knowledgeable about the menu and how the food is prepared. His description of the Brussel sprouts was perfection and I was sold, but unfortunately it was dressed with mustard which is a hard no for the hubs. We ordered Hungarian peppers (always) and risotto balls for the appetizer. I don't know how to make meal of the leftover sauces but I would, 100%. I got the steak, and it was perfect but due to the apps and salad, I was only able to eat a few bites. It came with green beans and roasted red skin potatoes which were fantastic. Before I had what was left boxed, I sent a picture to my son and asked if he wanted it. He texted back "sick" and ate it all as soon as we got home. He loves steak and can cook a pretty darn good one himself and he said "even cool, eating with my hands, this steak is damn good". Hubs had a shrimp pasta that had the Hungarian peppers and sauce that he said was wonderful. He did not have any leftovers (although we did bring home 2 of the peppers for the app). We skipped dessert this time, too stuffed, but left happy, again. The water was ice cold, crisp and tasteless. I drank 3 glasses.

LaBistecca Restaurant is such a special place that my husband enjoy celebrating special occasions like birthdays and anniversaries. We have enjoyed dinning here for many years and have always had delicious meals and great service. Always consistent with a great meal, ambience and service. I highly recommend this wonderful restaurant. We also enjoyed being entertained by the piano bar after dinner. This place is a gem!

I had bolognese pasta with Steak tips and veal marsala. It was like food from heaven. And for dessert a gorgeous Creme Brulée. It had fruit and a wonderful color on the Cream. I hesitate to write my review, because selfishly I want to be able to get into the restaurant when I want! I am surprised this place doesn't have more reviews. My husband and I made a reservation 2 weeks out. We were greeted by Jerry, the owner, as soon as we walked into the restaurant. We explained we were new to the area and we're trying his restaurant for the first time. He gave us a tour of the restaurant and seated us at our table. Eric was our waiter. He greeted us, took our drink order and offered the special hors d'oevres for the evening. We settled on the Gamberi alla picate, shrimp in lemon and garlic. Bread with a wonderful red pepper purée and olive oil dipping sauce was brought to the table. ( save some bread to sop up the shrimp sauce!) next were the salads, nice and cold (nothing worse than a warm salad.) Try the raspberry vinaigrette. My husband had the sea bass as his entree, delicious and I enjoyed the salmon and the potatoes, which my husband said he would swap out the polenta for the potatoes next time! The pacing was perfect, no time limit here. We ended the meal with their house made coffee cinnamon ice cream and espressos. An amazing evening and wonderful meal. Next time we will sit in the piano bar, off the main restaurant! It was packed.

Love this place! After I messed up the reservation for a large group, they made accommodations for us. The food and service were top notch. Great place to celebrate something special or just enjoy a really good meal!!!

I am lucky I had a groupon to come here. I don't know if I've ever heard of it before, but La Bistecca is something special. I don't get to Plymouth often, but I might start coming back now! I was kindly greeted at the door and was solo so I opted to sit at the bar. I ordered an Old Fashioned and the bar tender delivered it and introduced himself as Jerry, the owner of the restaurant. He was guided me through the menu and described the dishes in detail. I was getting hungrier with each word he said. I ordered a few small plates, the beef short rib entree and the gnocchi entree. Shortly after I ordered the bread and dipping oil was delivered to the table. The bread was so soft and delicious and the dipping oil had a slightly spicy pepper purée and it blew my mind. I could already tell this meal was going to be good. My salad came soon after and was heartier and fresher than most. The torte di formaggio came next, it was beautiful! I started eating it and was in heaven. Goat cheese, pesto, balsamic and roasted peppers together making my mouth water. I couldn't wait for the main dish. The short rib was so tender you could have sliced it with a spoon. The horseradish risotto was phenomenal and I don't really like risotto. My guest loved the gnocchi so much she already wants to go back... and she ate it yesterday!!! This is gourmet Italian, so the food is not cheap, but you can order things from the menu on any budget and be satisfied. Thank you La Bistecca, this is one of my best meals of 2019

It is covid friendly and follows all guidelines. I asked for no dressing on the salad and got no salad at all. I got my lamb meal boxed up and they threw away all the bones with the best meat attached to them. The food that was not thrown away was exceptional and the recommended wine complemented it well. Food was very good and except for the wine recommendation the service was subpar. 5/5 food 2/5 service.

The decoration is classic and ambience was good. The sever was kind, nice and professional. She introduced tons of their specialties in detail to us. Thumbs up. The bread as usual in normal Italian restaurants was hard and crackly at the skin and soft inside but a bit spongey. We ordered calamari as a starter. It was really chewy but textured. Usually the coating is quite thick but this time it was thin. However, it was really good. It came with green pepper and onion which increased the flavor of it but not too much. We also upgraded the house salad to Caesar salad. The dressing was just right and the flavor was not too rich. Just cut at the point! Amazing;) By the way, I like their small pieces of bread, crouton, in the Caesar salad haha. Main dishes, we ordered the specialty shrimp linguine and a medium-rare specialty filetto di Manzo. The first cut was more like medium but they replaced it. The second cut was good. Crispy at outside and raw inside. Thumbs up. The shrimp linguine was delicious. The shrimp was awesome:)

Our 3rd time dining here and it continues to impress. It starts with the ambiance. Smaller dining room, great kind of old school vibe , plenty of space between tables, nice background music, quiet enough to actually carry on a conversation across the table. The food is fantastic. If I am taking someone out; and it has to be a "can't miss" evening, La Bistecca is on the very short list. I look for excuses to dine there.

I have fond memories of this restaurant from several work-related visits. It was even the location of one of our lovely Christmas parties. While I do not recall everything that I previously had, I do recall the buttery, tender steaks here so when the mood struck and there was an occasion to mark, a return trip was definitely in order. With the entrée already decided, a quick glance of the menu and recent reviews on Yelp led me to the appetizer course. The calamari, thick cut and lightly coated, was a nice starter. With sweet, caramelized onions and red and green peppers, julienned, it was a bit different from the usual preparation. It was served with a lemon sauce that may be better had it been served on the side since the calamari became soggy as a result of it. The house salad was nicely chilled with frisée, chopped tomatoes and cucumbers. I liked the simple and familiar flavors of the biting balsamic vinaigrette dressing mixed with the pungent grated Parmesan. As for the main attraction, even before the first bite, I was struck by the incredible char-grilled steak smell! The 16 oz Piedmontese NY strip was delicious. Thick cut, medium rare (closer to rare), with a nice crust, the steak was elevated by a buttery zip sauce. I liked the sauce so much I requested extra. The entrée is served with roasted potatoes and green beans. I saved room for dessert, a Lemocello mascarpone layer cake topped with white chocolate curls. Both the cake and frosting were incredibly light, in taste and texture - I loved it, as well as the sweet and tart sauce. Service was attentive, warm, and professional. It was even a step up from similar high-end steakhouses.

The food was wonderful. I wouldn't really consider this an Italian restaurant however. The service was nice. I loved the ambiance! It's a perfect special occasion place!

My last night in Michigan so it's time to take the family and my lady out for a nice dinner. That can get expensive though right? I'm not made of money, so you know how it goes... GROUPON! This place is on Groupon with vouchers for 2 or 4 people, but I'll go into more detail later on. The reviews are great and the menu looked good so I decided on taking everyone here. Appearance/Atmosphere: We came on a Monday night and place was like, empty. It was kinda strange. The outside looks like a normal restaurant, with a big sign standing out front so that you can't miss it. The private parking lot is always a plus. This place gives off a very unique vibe, one that you know there's no other place out there like it. Unlike the cookie-cutter chain restaurants. The main dining room is one big room with either obstacles or seating barrier to create some sort of separation in there. Down the hall to the right of the entrance is the bar area and the bathrooms. The decor was very nice, elegant and tasteful. The lighting was a lil' dark for me, but I think all of these "high end" restaurants sort of follow the same format. It wasn't a challenge to see my food or anything so that was okay. Service: Our waitress was excellent. I forget her name, but she took great care of us and all of my mom's special requests. Lol. Our waters stayed full, she was prompt with extra bread with the bean salad and was very friendly. We'd love to have her again. Food: The good part. So the complimentary bread that's served comes with an olive oil/red pepper mixture and a bean salad, which I've never seen before. It was delicious. We devoured the first round and certainly had to ask for more. As an appetizer we ordered the Calamari which was SO different from any others I've ever had. You know how "typical" calamari is? The lil' rings with sometimes an entire baby squid thrown in there? Not this time. These were like, the shape of fries almost. Lol. It was sliced squid steak, garlic, onions and peppers. A bit greasy, but oh so delicious of course! Mom ordered the Pollo E Gnocchi Formaggio which is free range chicken breast, fresh vegetables, toasted asiago stuffed gnocchi and a parmesan crust reduction. I was able to taste hers and it was delightful. For my own entree I went with their 10 ounce filet mignon with double the vegetables, hold the starches. You know, trying to cut the carbs where I can. Lol. It was decent. Not the best, but it was good. The vegetables were very fresh with a good crunch to them as well. Value: Groupon makes anything a decent value, so it was okay. So the Groupon is usually $82.50 for $120.00 worth of food. I had the $20.00 off coupon code so I got $120.00 worth of food for only $62.50. Not bad at all. So here's what you'd be paying if you go there regardless of a Groupon. Calamari was $14.00. Okay value I guess, but I've seen MUCH larger portions for cheaper. Mom's dish was $28.00. Again, I've seen bigger portions for cheaper and my filet was $49.00. Not worth it in my opinion, unless you have that Groupon. So that's where this place loses a star. The food just didn't taste like what I was paying for. That's all. In conclusion I'd totally come back here... with a Groupon or for happy hour. I think I peeked at their menu and it looked a bit appetizing. Just remember folks, Groupon, Groupon, Groupon. It'll save you a ton of money out there.

Came here for lunch with a big group on a Friday. Admittedly we were coming after a funeral so the mood was a bit somber but our waitress was very kind and helpful during the entire meal. The spot is a very old school Italian steakhouse style. They had the "best of Frank Sinatra" playing for goodness sake! But it fit perfectly and we were all humming along. Nice background music. They first brought out a round of warm bread and olive oil with a red pepper puree as dipping sauces and this was very very tasty. As a group we ordered several appetizers (two platters of arancini and one order or bruschetta) and they were excellent. In particular the bruschetta was perfectly garlicky. Then we had a soup and salad course. I got the caesar salad which I liked quite a bit as well. After the bread, apps, and salads we all remarked that we were already full and we still had the entrees to come! They are pretty generous with the portions. Everyone ordered different items for entrees but the most popular happened to be the veal marsala (4 at the table). I tried a bite and it was very good. I personally had the salmon which came with rice and vegetable. I asked them if I could swap in the parmesan risotto as a side instead of plain rice (for an up charge) and they were accommodating. This was a good decision. The risotto was just the right level of creamy and comforting and was a nice partner to the salmon. The salmon was cooked a little more well done than I typically like but in the future I'd just ask them to cook it medium. I'd definitely order it again. The tab was a bit steep for a regular lunch spot but for a "special occasion" it's a nice, delicious option. I'd much like to come back under cheerier circumstances and I'd be interested to come for dinner and have their traditional steak experience. They made a pretty crummy day a lot nicer so for that I'm grateful.

I only came here because there was an awesome Groupon. It was $60 worth of food for $28 so I thought it was a steal. My boyfriend got the Filetto di manzo and I got the pollo e gnocchi formaggio. I thought my gnocchi was delicious, but not worth the price since I only had like 7 pieces of gnocchi. I also thought the filet was good, but not worth the price because it was "supposedly" 9oz but it looked more like 7 or 8oz for $50. The food was "meh" but I do admit the service was wonderful. It's don't remember my servers name, but I remember her being so attentive and gave us great suggestions. She really made the meal worth having!

What a fantastic experience! Cannot believe that we haven't been here before now but will definitely be back. Food was excellent, service was perfect (thanks Eric), and ambiance was cool; kind of old world meets new. Jerry, the owner, was a pleasure to talk to. The passion he has for this place shows in the quality of the food he serves and the way he talks about his staff and customers. We had the seared veal chop (OMG!) and the classic spaghetti w/ meatballs, both delicious. Can't wait to go back for the highly lauded Piedmontese selections.

Very tasty and good portions for the price. A very nice place for date night! We had a great time here with my family who flew in from Texas. They really enjoyed it! Looking forward to going back

Wonderful service and the food was phenomenal. We got the lamb chops and chicken Parmesan. Seasoned and cooked perfectly. Also make sure to try their crème brûlée for dessert!

Seriously one of the best meals I have ever had... EVER. I had the Costola Corta di Manzo and my husband had the Costolette di Vitello. Both were amazing!! Also, our waiter was fantastic! Everything about this place is special, but I will not wait for a special occasion to go back. Bravo!!

Great dinner I've been here several times over the last several years I've always found the service and the food outstanding have a full bar entertainment on the weekends and a great wine selection it's worth the trip.

Whenever we are in Plymouth, we make room in our schedule for a dinner at La Bistecca. We took our family of 6 tonight along with 2 other family members and it did not disappoint. The service was impeccable- Michael was very attentive to each one of us. The entrees were perfectly prepared, each as delicious as the next. I would recommend the limoncello cake for dessert; my husband preferred the spumoni, and the older kids liked the flourless chocolate cake. The personal attention from Jerry was appreciated as well; a sign of a great restaurant is when the owner works the dining room.

This place felt like home great hospitality and great food. Great drinks, he wasn't sure how to make this drinks we wanted but he had no problem figuring it out. He did a really good job for his first time making a green tea shot. The owner made us feel right at home will definitely make this place my go too.
