LA BONNE TABLE

"LA BONNE TABLE lives by the motto ‘farm to table’. Chef Kazunari Nakamura builds strong relationships of trust with food producers, who ship ingredients to him directly from their farms. An amuse-bouche, appropriately named ‘Farm to Table’, is a colourful assortment of vegetables prepared in a variety of ways. Roast shiitake wastes no part of the mushroom, not even the stem. The chef’s ingenuity and creativity bring out the value of his ingredients." - Michelin Inspector

It was my husband and my 7th dating anniversary, we came here for the course “イル・ド・フランス メニューコース” during dinner time. We arrived at 6pm, we got seated right next to the window, which is lovely. The atmosphere in this restaurant is very nice and romantic, we like that it was not too many people. It is an 8 course meal, all of the vegetables and fruit were fresh and delicious. Each course tasted amazing, and were like art for your eyes and tastebuds, you can feel the hard work of the chefs put in them, even the bread tasted great. If I have to choose, I think the venison and the “mini brie with potato galette” were my favourite. The venison was perfectly soft and tender, it looks red but it tasted like no-fat-wagyu, the flavour exploded in your mouth and the red wine sauce topped it up. The potato galette was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, matched very well with the mini brie. The dessert “marigold” was heavenly, very rich and creamy but not too sweet. We could choose coffee or tea to enjoy at the end, but we didn’t feel like it, so we skip it. They also gave us a little “たこ焼き”, which tasted like good quality chocolate lava cake. We were there for two hours. The service was excellent, the waitresses and Sommelier who served us are kind and polite, we were very happy with everything. Thank you very much for such an amazing dinner experience.

My partner and I had the most amazing 10 course dinner at La Bonne. Each dish had the most incredible combination of flavours and textures, a perfect fusion of French and Japanese cuisine. They were mindful of my dietary requirements as someone who doesn’t eat pork. Our server, whose name I believe was Tera, was incredible. He explained each dish to us and had great knowledge of the wines available. An amazing evening and extremely well priced considering the quality of food as well as having a few glasses of wine. The restaurant itself was beautiful and was also close to a train station in a lovely area.

An absolute hidden gem! Even The brioche is an absolute delight - perfectly textured with a warm, pillowy interior and a slight chewiness that satisfies. The aroma is heavenly, with the fragrant notes of olive oil and freshly milled wheat enveloping each bite. Truly too good to be true! I will undoubtedly be returning time and time again

An amazing fusion of french and japanese cuisine! The food was spectacular! - I really liked the grilled sashimi tuna (seasonal), and the Fugu/scallop pie. I had the 8-course meal with non-alcoholic pairing for lunch. Service was excellent. It is course meals only, so don't come here if you're in a rush! The entrance to the restaurant is from outside the building (not inside).

Thoroughly enjoyed my meal and experience. They did their best to explain things to me in English and I was very appreciative of it. Food was excellent and when you factor in the price of the lunch course, this should be on your list of restaurants to visit in Tokyo. The pork pie is the chef's signature dish and it was easy to see why.

Exceptional casual French restaurant -food and service were excellent and highly recommended. My sommelier Mr. Terahara gave me some fantastic notes on each non-alcoholic pairing drink-very passionate. The ingenious non-alcoholic beverage is house made. Located in a historical retro part of downtown Tokyo near Nihonbashi -few stations away from Ginza.

The food is great. It's not fancy but delicious, and the flavors are better than some Michelin one-star restaurants. The non-alcohol pairings by the restaurant's sommelier is excellent; the drinks pair very well with the food. Also, the service is very attentive.

Yelp
La Bonne Table is one of those dining experiences of a lifetime. Perfect service which included the chefs coming out with each course to explain the creative dishes. The design includes counter seating to watch the chefs, private booths or tables in open dining rooms. We enjoyed the changing digital art in the dining room. We had a prefix three course meal plus a couple of amuse bouche. As expected in a restaurant featuring a modern young chef pushing the envelope, the food was artful, creative, delicious and FUN!!!
