"Here, Italian recipes meet Japanese ingredients. The fish carpaccio is subtly flavoured with kelp, while the focaccia is served with a yuzu pepper sauce; the risotto is made with Japanese rice. Both Italian and Japanese cuisines celebrate the four seasons, incorporating unique flavours into every dish. While set menus remain the focus, La Brianza also offers à la carte dishes in the evening, allowing diners to tailor their culinary journey." - Michelin Inspector

August 2025: Usually I have pretty good and delicious meals when visiting Japan. I booked this place for a special occasion (boyfriend’s birthday). In the reservation, I wrote that 1 person is allergic to shellfish. When we got there, service and food was just not good. This was by far the worst meal I’ve ever had. Let me start by saying: Half the menu had shellfish on it and I had to mention to them again stating that there is a shellfish allergy. They looked lost and confused because they didn’t know how to substitute his meals. They would give him a piece of prosciutto as a substitute. Do I feel like the price matched what they substituted with? Absolutely not. All the courses that came out was way below average. The gazpacho was bitter and the uni didn’t seem so fresh. The truffle gratin with egg threw me off the most because the truffle had no truffle taste. And it was so watery. How is that even possible? My bread course came out after course #6. I added extra yen to have a fish course and they gave me 2 pieces of grilled calamari stuff with breadcrumbs. LOL I felt like this dinner was just a prank!!! I just wanted to leave so bad. The only thing that tasted good was the fried eel, prosciutto, and the wagyu steak. Our last course was dessert. And it was terrible. No water was ever served to us but instead, the drink menu was shoved in our faces. They finally poured us water at the 7th course!!!!!!! The waiters don’t know the menus and when they brought us dishes, they can’t explain the dish correctly. One waiter told me it’s eggplant in my gazpacho when it’s clearly edamame???? Oh my goodness. I think only 3 dishes was explained to me clearly and matched the description!!! Service was SLOW AND BAD. This whole entire dinner took 2.5 hours. Our table was never fully cleared or crumbed. Our empty glasses just sat there with us, melting ice and condensation all over. We had to keep the same fork and knife for ALL courses except dessert. I am so confused because I’m not use to this type of service. I thought this was high end dining….? Might I mention that online they have a dress code but when I went in, I saw people wearing shorts, sneakers, and a regular T shirt. I just need some clarity here. The staff needs to be trained better and know the chef’s menu. Food allergies are a serious matter and I think maybe they need to do more research. Food is so mid and the price does not match it. Are the reviews online real? Because I really am speechless and shocked with my experience. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to come here. I’m sorry for such a negative review but this was my biggest regret of my Japan trip. This is very traumatic for me and my partner.

I received a ticket for this restaurant, so I visited alone. I ordered the lunch set but had it changed to fresh pasta Bolognese, which was delicious. The photo shows the soft-boiled egg gratin topped with truffle.

My husband and I had a fabulous experience at La Brianza! Every course was delicious - our favorites were the seaweed ball (sorry I don't recall the name) in the first course, the caprese, pork with porcini mushroom sauce, the waygu steak (who knew wasabi on steak was that amazing?), and tiramisu for dessert. Multiple staff members waited on us, and everyone was so gracious and accommodating. I especially appreciated that dessert had a few nods to American Thanksgiving, since we are traveling here during the holiday this year 😊 We have become obsessed with Yuzu since discovering it on this trip, and had the most delicious Yuzu gin and tonic! Price was excellent for the quality and portions - honestly much better than the experiences we've had in Italy. I was surprised to see some of the negative reviews - perhaps an off night? We would absolutely come back.

OCT 2024 Visited here for lunch and had the La Brianza Special. Started off with two bite size appetizers (fig with stracciatella and seaweed ball), both were very tasty. For the antipasto, the yellowtail carpaccio paired with the pickled sweet onion was refreshing, and the deep fried mussel with the prosciutto and herb paste was delicious; wish there was more of the couscous as it was literally one spoon's worth. The freshly baked signature egg gratin was creamy and delightful with the added shaved truffle. The pasta was their take on cacio e pepe, topped with mushrooms and porchetta; pretty tasty with a unique sharp pink peppercorn flavor, though maybe overpowering the cheese a bit. For the secondo, it was upgraded to aged beef sirloin which had a pretty intense depth of flavor and was tender but it would have been better if the meat was seared a bit more. Dessert was ice cream with poached pear, caramel sauce and puff pastry which was nice and sweet. Overall it was a tasty meal at an affordable price, and the service was good with the staffs being helpful and taking the time to explain the dishes.

I visited this restaurant on a Friday evening and ordered the ‘Regionale,’ an 8-course Italian regional cuisine menu. Every dish was delightful, and I was thoroughly satisfied with the experience. The highlight was definitely the main course, a perfectly cooked sirloin that was absolutely delicious. I highly recommend this place for special occasions like anniversaries

A very French-y Italian at the residential part of Roppongi Hills. The reasonable 8,800yen course comes with 9 dishes (incl. amuse bouche) and were really nicely executed but nothing was a mind-blower (it doesn't have to be but usually there is a dish that will leave an incredible impact on me). I was alone and was seated at the bar seat where you can see the entire kitchen in action (was nice).

The restaurant is located in Roppongi Hills Residence C! The beautiful blue chairs in the restaurant are eye-catching! If you visit the restaurant with your loved one, you will be able to enjoy a wonderful meal in close proximity! I personally recommend the truffle gratin and carbonara! For dessert, the tiramisu was delicious!

A bib gourmand restaurant in the Micheline guide. The 6000 yen course was not bad considering the price, but with few issues. They served a whale carpaccio which it's taste was ok but in a small lump. A lumpy carpaccion is a first thing in my life. Their fish dish with coconut milk were off with a super sweet taste therefrom. Dodgy service throughout. For some reason, out amuze bouche and bread was skipped, not that that was the main reason for insuficient service standards. Poor English only speaking in mixed Japanese and English.

Yelp
The Italian restaurant located in Roppongi Hills. I come here once in a while. Had 8800 JPY lunch course with 5 wine pairings this time with my friend. The appetizers, fish carpaccio, their signature truffle gratin, beef steak and the seasonal chestnut tiramisu for the desert, all the dishes were incredibly delicious with perfect wine pairings. Pretty blue restaurant interior is also good. Very cozy place and I love here.

Yelp
La Brianza was unfortunately one of the worst meals we ever had. Our party of 6 found the entire meal inedible. It was a set menu and it got worse with each course. To top it off not only were we given raw inedible steak- it was thick as rubber. It was around 8 courses and we would have been happy if even a few courses were ok but no such luck. If you like mainly raw meat this may be the place for you but otherwise pass. Hate to give bad reviews but this one is in a class of its own.

Yelp
Ok ... not really Italian but more fusion kind of food. Good quality of ingredients but don't really taste Italian dishes ... trust me, I am Italian

Yelp
My mom actually recommended this place to me and I took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We arrived quite late but they were still able to seat us. Although we were seated at the bar, we loved it! We were the only customers seated at the bar so it felt very special and almost as if we were getting special treatment and more tended to because of it. The bartender made a recommendation for dessert (pumpkin pudding) and I have NEVER tasted anything more delicious!!!! The service was absolutely wonderful and I can't wait to go back and try from the course menu next time! ごちそうさまでした!とっても美味しかったです!ありがとうございました

Yelp
Ok this restaurant is actually in my building. On the 3rd floor. It would be hard to find for anyone not living here, but regardless it is full every night. The food is excellent and the chef, Yoshi, speaks English very well. There is a nice value four course set every night, but also some fabulous other options including the best porchetta I have ever had. Worth a trip downstairs, and also a trip across town.
