I went because I wanted to eat a good pozole, I was looking for places and this was the one with the best rating. And unfortunately it's not good, the corn was raw and the food that my father asked for salty cold and with the same taste as the pozole. As if they had used the same beef broth to make the food my dad asked for and the pozole.

I had gone to several restaurants that only offer eggs during breakfast, so i was ready to be disappointed with this one too. Surprisingly, they offer more than eggs rice and beans:). Just 2 miles out of las Vegas busy vibe, this affordable restaurant awaits you with a good caldo for the hungover. We had caldo de Pata, chilaquiles Verdes and sopes. The restaurant also offers natural juices and fresh made "agua fresca." Next to it there is another venue just in case you want to stay loyal to pancakes.

The food had no flavor non zip zero ,I will never go there again , I don't use salt in my food but mam who ever is the cook to hold back on the seasoning. I even had to use salt on the table and still no flavor i cant even use a star on the food.

I was looking for an authentic Mexican place to eat and found this gem. The flavors of some of the dishes reminded me of the way my mom used to make it. The menudo was super good and they give you options. You can get menudo with homeny, with pigs feet, or just meat. We also got their pork with nopales in green chili. The meat feels right off the bone and the sauce was perfectly seasoned. The best part were the home made flour and corn tortillas 😋.

My husband went to this restaurant and got some menudo with grano and no pata and he got the opposite of what he order the service wasn’t what we expected because, if they’re going to serve customers whatever they felt like it’s not good service at all. I’m so disappointed on how they gave us big pieces of bone on top of that.

Here in Vegas for the weekend and always looking for a new place to eat. It's a small place but the staff is really nice and the food delicious. Will come back!

Absolutely disgusting experience -- do NOT waste your time or money here. The service was beyond trash, and the food was even worse. We ordered menudo, and I've eaten menudo my entire life -- this was hands down the most horrific version I've ever tasted. The broth was sweet, like some kind of fideo soup gone wrong. Completely inedible. My mom actually got sick after eating it, and I couldn't even finish mine -- that's how nasty it was. The staff acted like we were a burden just for being there. Our server took over 40 minutes just to take our order and another 30 minutes to bring out water. Because of the "good" reviews, we waited it out like fools thinking maybe the food would make up for it -- huge mistake. This place is awful from start to finish. Save yourself the disappointment and go literally anywhere else. (En español) Experiencia absolutamente asquerosa -- NO pierdas tu tiempo ni tu dinero aquí. El servicio fue una completa basura, y la comida todavía peor. Pedimos menudo, y he comido menudo toda mi vida -- pero este fue, sin duda, el peor y más horrible que he probado. The pozole is really tasty and good portions. The hard shells tacos are also good and tasty. Prices are comparable to other places around the area. I think the tortillas are handmade - those are so good and soft. The chips tasted like they were a day old or so. Small cute place to eat if you are looking to eat real Mexican food and away from the "foo-foo" fancy places in the strip or nearby. The waiters are very friendly.

4/5 La Casita de Doña Machi Cute little spot! The place is super clean, colorful, and has that warm "you're-eating-at-your-aunt's-house" kind of vibe. Totally feels like a home-cooked meal is coming your way -- and for the most part, it delivers. I ordered the Menudo (red) and Pozole (red) plus a Café de Olla. The Menudo was solid -- meat was tender, and best of all, it didn't have that funky smell you sometimes get elsewhere (you know the one). The Pozole was okay -- broth could use a bit more seasoning since it leaned a little bland, but the meat was tender and the toppings were on point. Now, their red salsa deserves its own shoutout -- seriously, that stuff brings everything to life. A little scoop of that and suddenly the Menudo and Pozole are doing their thing. As for the Café de Olla... ehhh, I'd skip it. Tasted kind of watered down, and Vegas has plenty of spots that do it better. Overall, I'd totally come back for the Menudo and Pozole (and that killer salsa). Just skip the coffee and you're golden.

Amazing ! The food was delicious I had menudo and it was really good with home made tortillas!!! The lady was very friendly, small place but really welcoming. Will definitely come back when in Vegas.

Birria tacos good menudo really good my hubby is a menudo fanatic and is picky he loves it. Chilaquiles rojos not spicy but good carne en su jugo was good. I was disappointed on the cafe de olla. This place is legit! I discovered this place last time in town about a month ago when I was craving Menudo. What a find! Tortillas made by hand, tasty salsa, great overall menu etc. etc. Don't get turned off by the appearance. Located in a strip mall (next to 7-11). NEVER judge a book by it's cover. Give it a try, you'll thank me later.

I had the Menudo and the wife had Costillas de puerco con nopales the food was excellent the staff was Friendly and attentive. We will be back to this restaurant whenever we are in Las Vegas

I was craving menudo and am so glad I decided to try La Casita De Doña Machi. They have broth options (red or white) and I was able to customize my bowl to include pata and not have any hominy. So basically, tripe and pata in a red broth. I love that the broth did not come spicy and you can adjust the level of heat with the side of hot sauce they give you - which I really liked. I was dipping the meat in it as opposed to adding it to my broth! The restaurant is clean, really cute, and small - so it can get pretty crowded. The service was excellent. Everyone was really nice. I am already looking forward to my next visit because I really want to order the empanadas and try their other foods!

Primera ves y última, lo bueno que pedí una prueba del menudo antes de ordenar, no puedo entender como algo tan básico como lavar el menudo se le puede pasar a alguien, tenía un olor muy feo y sabía muy mal, decidimos mejor comer frijoles con totopos y unos tacos dorados que estaban muy ricos. Si lo que andas buscando es un buen menudo este no es el lugar.

We visited vegas on Saturday and went for our first meal tiny spot but it was nicely decorated. Service was fast but that was it they took our order served and never asked if we needed anything until we asked for water. Food was fantastic per my husband white menudo he loved it. Myself I got red menudo eh it was okay tasted more like pozole. But overall good spot to eat fast and go.

Went around 4pm on Sunday! We had 2 Caguamas and 2 large menudos. It was delicious, the table was ready with all the fixings that our menudo needed! Las tortillas de maiz son hecho a Mano. They were so soft and hot a delicious! The server was so attentive and was with the vibes! Love this place! Will be back again!

My wife and I wanted some Mexican food near us as we were driving and this place came up. I'm so happy we decided to try this place. My chilaquiles verdes were the salsa it came with reminded me of the chilaquiles I get when I visit Mexico. It wasn't Americanized. The salsa had a good spicy kick to it instead of it being tomatoey. My wife had the menudo and she loved it too. By far out of all the places I've tried chilaquiles this is the spot

I so badly wanted this place to work out but alas, it was just meh. I got the menudo with hominy (how it's made back home but rarely found in vegas) and the ribs with cactus in a red sauce. The salsa was not spicy and kinda boring honestly. Nothing was technically bad it's just not as good as the reviews suggest. Overall everything lacked flavor. Inside was cute and quaint. People were friendly and helpful. Again, not bad and if you're wanting some basic Mexican food for a good price.

I gave this place a couple of opportunities! The food is very disappointing. The service is extremely subpar, from the greeting, the way you are looked at when you come into the restaurant, and how you are spoken to are just beyond to be considered acceptable service. Very rude, rushed, and annoyed is the perception given off by the woman who is some type of owner or manager. The ambiance of the restaurant is nice and has a great aesthetic to enjoy. But the food is just so lacking flavor and isn't worth the price for what is presented to you. Honestly, trashy food, the menu says one thing and your served something else. When a large party comes in it is almost as if it is an "inconvenience" to have to serve the customer. And seeing as this is not a restaurant of well known merit or advertisement, one would hope you could offer something meaningful to a customer for the prices you are asking for! The tortillas are okay, nothing special!

The food, the service and the ambiance is great! I always stop by here when we are in Vegas. It is a hole in the wall restaurant but you know, those are always the best! Y tortillas hechas a mano...The best! I normally order Chilaquiles rojos and my husband orders Menudo and it is delicious and authentic. I also order cafe the hoya and taste just like coffee from Mexico. I totally recommend this place 100%.

This place was great and had descent prices, now the prices has gone up and the quality of the food has gone down. My wife ordered enchiladas de pollo, the chicken was dry inside they should have fried the shredded chicken with its sauce to give it more flavor not dry. The waitresses don't really smile. It has been a couple of times now that we see the quality of the food go down. I don't think we will be coming back here.

I seen this restaurant on TikTok, came to eat with my family and over all the food has great taste and was cooked perfectly, the waitress was very helpful and had good assistance.

Found this spot thru tiktok and it did not disappoint! I had red menudo it was sooooo good! My husband had Costillas verdes con nopales he said it was delicious just like his mom's cooking !! A+

I've been coming here for years. 15plus and let me tell you i've been recommending. people to this restaurant for years ! Todays visit i have to say has been the worst experience ever , been waiting for 1 1 1/2 to be seated , seems like over the years they have been becoming popular witch you would think that they would hire more staff , well that's not the case 2 servers for a full restaurant is insane im definitely not coming. back here ! to have to wait fro 1 1/2 by the time i eat 2 hrs is ridiculous! they lost my business!!!!

Loved the breakfast here, it's authentic Mexican food and the service is great. The pace looks a little sketchy on the outside but inside it's a really nice ambiance and the restaurant itself is very representative of the Mexican culture. My family and I came here to have breakfast during our Vegas tip and it was really good. By the way we are authentic Mexicans so we can distinguish pocho Mexican food from the real authentic food. I'm telling you this place is the real deal. We got chilaquiles rojos, huevos rancheros, and menudo and everything was absolutely delicious. I'll post some pictures below of our food. Thank you to our wonderful server, she was very kind and made sure we had everything we needed.

Delicious, like mom made it Mexican breakfast. Don't let the strip mall location fool you. Homemade tortillas, good coffee, and really good, traditional Mexican breakfast entrees like machaca, chilaquiles, menudo and huevos con chorizo. My kids were also able to order pancakes and chocolate milk which they loved. With only 1 waitress (she was busing tables too) was slow for a Monday morning, but worth it! Large portions!

We come from Reno often, we have tried many restaurants and this one was just a Wow!!! We got pozole, birria tacos, flautas and caldo de res. Everything was just on point. Delicious and just great food, great customer service and great price!! Thank you thank you

Coming from Los Angeles it's been a challenge finding an authentic Mexican spot. It's usually those mom and pop, whole in the wall places that serve up those home away from home dishes. Well, this place is it. I really wanted menudo on a weekday and even though I knew it was a stretch since it's typically a weekend/Sunday dish I searched Yelp anyway. Thank goodness I did and found this hidden gem. As soon as I walked in a was greeted by the lovely server. The outfit and decor resembled Mexico to its fullest. They even had Mexican candy and trinkets in front for purchase. I shared a bowl of menudo and the chilaquiles breakfast with my boyfriend. Neither dish disappointed and both were decent sized servings worth the price for sure which wasn't bad at all. The menudo was hot and tasty. I went with the option of adding a pork's foot. I'm a hominy fan and was glad it was added. The chilaquiles came with all the fixings: sour cream and cheese along side were the rice and beans. I can't wait to return and try the rest of the menu. Hello everyone as a yelp app user I'm always relying on the app to look for the best place to have a great breakfast.. I found this place last casita de doña machi supposedly the most authentic homemade Mexican restaurant.. let me tell you guys IT IS NOT .. my wife and I decided to stop at la casita de doña machi for some breakfast. First of no fountains sodas which means no refills they have bottles. I ordered me a bottle of coke and my wife ordered a orange juice they brought a cup of water down orange juice that tasted horrible she hated it and decided to return it and switched it to a cafe de Hoya and also the cafe de Hoya was extra dark and not good at all plus it was brought in a broken cup not presentable at all plus very dangerous could of cut anyone in the mouth . Now let's move on to our food my wife ordered the machaca omelette 14.99 and my self a chilaquiles con carne and eggs 25 . Machaca omelette was decent 4.5 out of 10 the machaca was very very chewy the omelette came with rice and beans on the side beans 5.5 out 10 they were decent rice was very very dry and cold 1.5 out 10 ...now my plate chilaquiles rojos carne and eggs.. let's start with the chilaquiles no flavor what so ever and a water down salsa roja made the tortillas very very wet and soggy 1.5 out of 10 ,eggs were well cooked 9 out of 10 beans were decent 5.5 out of 10 carne was horrible tasted like it was sandbag for hours no freshness no flavor and very very cheap quality of meat . For the price they charging at least cook the meat to order or a better quality of meat .. please people don't be embarrassed to say something it's your money you guys are not asking for any free meal ...waitress was ok service don't want to blame her for anything she was very busy and was the only waitress working ...hope this review is helpful to future customers wanting to visit this restaurant...

I was in town for a conference staying at the strip. While there is some great food on the strip; steaks, burgers and seafood can get old real quick. In trying to find home some comfort food that reminded me of home and help with the hangover (in my family we cure it with some spicy home made food), my better half found this place way off strip. Taking a gamble with a $20 Uber ride to this literal hole in the wall on the corner of a tiny strip mall, next to 7 elven - I was like what the heck did we do. What we found was holy grail of my moms cooking. Simple but diverse menu of great Mexican food. From caldos, menudos, tacos to the deliciousness of costillas en salsa roja con nopales (pork ribs with red salsa and cactus). Damn this food was good. The drive out of the strip was absolutely worth it. We ended up coming on our last day again just to lift our spirits. We tried menudo (da bomb!!), costillas en salsa roja (the standout for me), caldo de res (deeeelicious), and some tacos. The handmade corn tortillas and a negra model y café just topped it all off. If your are looking for some truly authentic Mexican recipes full of flavor and none of the hype (food speaks for itself) - make the trip. You won't regret it!!!!

I went this Monday to get menudo for 15 of my Family members And everything was on Point. Menudo was fresh and Bomb as hell!! I have really picky family eaters, especially with menudo, and nobody complained and loved every bite of it, especially the salsa spicy and Delicious. Small place, never noticed it before. Invited my nephew for the menudo cause we had a bit of a hangover. Menudo was not bad at all, plenty of Flavor and the fresh hand made tortillas were amazing. I will definitely be returning. Nice little restaurant with home feel to it. Good service also.

I e search for a place that hAve blanco menudo and came across this place. Small quaint place. Been here 2 times already. It's good and they are super friendly . Also ordered el pastor & asada tacos. It was also pretty tasty, not far off from El Gordo. The only difference is asada taco here does not have the avocado sauce. But good thing they give you the grill jalapeño & onions.. love it.

Best place in Las Vegas...that I've been so far for a menudo. They offer it in white, red with and without hominy. Their tacos are pretty tasty too.
