La Cava del Tequila

My fave drinking lounge in Epcot is this small yet lively lounge located in the Mexican pavilion!! The bartenders will make most tequila drink requests and I’ve never been disappointed. My faves are the avacado and I ask for a spicy skinny mescal marg with a tahini rim and it’s fire! So goood!! My friend always gets the black magic. The chips and dips are also def worth getting you get so much to eat and service is always pretty on top of it. Enjoy and savor the magic! You will leave a happy camper!

This place has absolutely cratered in quality since I last visited. The most egregious thing was, after paying and tipping the bartenders, they forgot half of my order. Not once, but twice. Both times they looked at me like I was an idiot for still standing and waiting there, as if I should leave without the rest of my drinks I'd paid them for. Besides that, seemingly every drink is now premade and poured out of a pitcher or blender they just keep prepped behind the counter. And the quality of the drinks is far inferior while costing a decent bit more than when I was last here a few years ago. It's really a shame, because Mexico used to have the absolute best drinks of anywhere in the Epcot World Showcase. I definitely wouldn't waste money on any of the more expensive drinks here anymore.

Specialty drinks and fast service. This place is a cave of wonders and mostly serves grab and go cocktails for the many people who come through Mexico at Epcot. We’ve come here for years and love their authentic recipes and fresh ingredients. It’s a must if you’re at Epcot!!

A+ service - our waiter was charming and funny and friendly - and the avocado margs are *SO GOOD* - I just wish they had a FEW more food options. There is just chips and queso, guac, and chips. The salsa is quite smoky, and we really enjoyed the queso. It's a really small spot and feels like a cozy tequila bar. You can order drinks to go.

Well worth every minute of wait... the tequila is better than anything I’ve had before! The Pink Popcorn tequila drink was a wonderful balance of sweet and salt with a tasty blanco tequila taste to top it off. Then you can hang out “in Mexico” while you enjoy your beverage! Enjoy my friends!

We heard that you didn’t really do the Epcot drinking around the world if you didn’t go to La Cava and get an avocado margarita. We were disappointed on all fronts. After waiting in a long line, where we were aggressively told to wait along the wall many times, it was our turn. We approached the bar, where another cast member made sure that we stood up against the bar. Two gentlemen tended to me and my two friends. He then charged my friend for all 3 of our drinks. I left the establishment to find somewhere to sit. The gentlemen that did not check us out ran after us to tell us that I didn’t pay my bill. He forced my friend to pay for ANOTHER margarita, even though we had already paid for our 3. They were very aggressive with the entire experience and we were not impressed. The avocado margarita was not worth all of this - as many have said, it’s too commercialized now and comes out of a pre-mixed blender.

Staff is amazing! Chips, salsa and queso also amazing! Of course, the Margaritas! You truly can't go wrong with any of the Margaritas here. The Avocado is surprisingly refreshing. The Lily is also good. Worth the price? Ehhh...I'll let you decide, but it is tasty and comes with a flashy presentation, as well as being able to take home the plastic cup it comes in which features a design of Lily Aldridge's autograph.

My happy place at Epcot. I always look for Pepe and ask him to recommend a tequila, He hasn't been wrong yet!
