La Chicharronada Colombiana

It's next impossible to find authentic Colombian food in the Bay area. This is it with absolutely no frills. If you only care about the food then I'd give it 5 stars but 2.5 stars for ambiance. I found it to be kind of pricey because I ordered 3 imported sodas at $5 each and $6 for an empanada is a bit much but they tasted great. I don't like that everything was in Spanish. I want to paint them a mural or something to add to the ambiance since I'm Colombian, I don't think it really represents my country well. Go for the food.

The food is fantastic... The chicharon is cooked to perfection. The meals are served with plantains and yucca, which is a wonderful diversity from the local food. The brisket was a tiny bit dry. But the experience and Columbian soda was a fun addition!

They are breaking the law by having a baby in the kitchen walking around near the stove. The baby was keep crying and his mom she is the server, cashier and the kitchen helper was creaming at him telling him to stop crying. Later on the food arrive and was plane not flavor at all. While I was eating someone was ordering with her at the register 2 cockroach on the wall near the empanadas. And when I noticed I have other 2 walking on the wall on the table that I was sitting on. No flavor plus you get sick from those cockroach not going back there ever again.

Really good place good food and tone of parking

I wanted to try this place but just looking at the food pictures and reviews, make me turn to a different place, dishes in disposable plates and forks is a big no no. it looks like a corrientazo en Colombia but not flavor according with reviews.

Ordered a cheeseburger and they forget the cheese, burger tasted very weird and nasty like it wasn't beef. This place used to be good.

In less than eight days, I came back three times, and that's no coincidence. It is simply undeniable how enjoyable it is to sit down and savor a truly homemade soup, especially that comforting beef rib broth that warms both body and soul. Tasting the arepa with egg instantly transported me back to my beloved Cartagena. The chicharrón was outstanding; rich, tender, and juicy on the inside, with a perfectly crispy skin on the outside. And the carne a la llanera (mamona) was truly unique, authentic, and full of flavor. The side dishes, rice, sweet fried plantains, yuca, and salted potatoes, completed an experience that was generous, well-balanced, and absolutely delicious. The atmosphere, enhanced by Colombian music, along with the warm and attentive service provided by the Trillizos, made each visit feel like coming home. I would return once, a hundred, even a thousand times. Everything here is fresh, homemade, and genuinely made from the heart

I ate at their new location. Great customer service . I went on the weekend where they have the variety of meat. I will come back and try them again

No te ofrecen agua. Esperan que la compres. Y en VERANO. Por ley el agua es gratis en california. 100% todos los restaurantes te traen agua con hielo gratis apenas se sientan las personas. Sin importar si pidieron para llevar o para comer en restaurante. No estamos en Colombia por favor adaptarse. Se molestan por que el cliente pregunta sobre los métodos de pagos disponibles. Primera vez que me toca ver el Menú por AIRDROP. Fue demorado y no es conveniente para el cliente. Pedí un mixto para llevar, y fue muy incómodo pedir unas tapitas de ají para llevar. "El guacamole está adentro" yo pedí ají señora. No se enoje conmigo. El parlante estaba súper duro y mi esposa no podía escucharme. (Le di un concejo y no le gustó) Mi esposa me dijo "CASI TE PEGAN" "se controlaron mucho" Perdón la molestia señores de verdad no fue nuestra intención molestarlos con nuestra visita. Mi esposa no es colombiana y quería mostrarle algo de Colombia. Y tenía que hacer más preguntas. Es natural. $31 invertido.

It was my first time visiting this restaurant, and let me tell you--the food is absolutely amazing. Every dish is full of flavor and brings a true taste of Colombia to these faraway lands. The service was attentive, and everything tasted fresh. The ambience today was especially lovely thanks to the live band. The chicharrón was perfectly crispy and packed with flavor, while the yuca was incredibly soft. The churrasco was a generous portion and super flavorful. We also got the sancocho, which didn't make it into the photo, but it was just as delicious.

The bandeja was not very tasty, and the service was not very friendly. Overall, the experience didn't make me want to return. I don't feel it represents good Colombian food. There is definitely room for improvement.

El servicio fue pésimo, está lleno de moscas y habían cucarachas en el piso. No te ofrecen el menú, te llevan la soda y no vuelve a aparecer la mesera.
