"What if we told you that a Latin American restaurant has the best pizza on the central coast? La Cosecha is a crowd-pleaser on Paso’s main square, and while their menu is very good overall (the daily ceviche should definitely hit your table), you and everyone else is here for the pizza. The mediterrano with house made lamb sausage and goat cheese is special, but you really can’t go wrong. They also do a great weekend brunch without the intense crowds that swarm at night. And yes, the pizzas are available then too. photo credit: Jakob Layman" - Brant Cox

This is hands down the ultimate shopping spot. Impeccably organized shelves, unparalleled cleanliness, and prices that put regular ShopRite or Walmart stores to shame – the specials here are downright insane! The vegetables are remarkably fresh, not left frozen in the bins overnight. Need cooking advice? Just ask, they've got you covered! While the checkout experience wasn't the friendliest, even with me being bilingual in Spanish, and despite the rush at 8:00 pm when they close at 10:00 pm, I'd go as far as saying it bordered on blatant rudeness. Nonetheless, the allure of returning for the fresh seafood, butcher specials, diverse fruit selection, and incredible desserts is hard to resist!

Great place to shop. If you haven't been to this kind of grocery, you're in for a treat.

Very nice and friendly employees. Easy to find and purchase groceries. Fresh meats cuts in your presence and very clean. Prices affordable according to your needs. First time at store. I am from Miami Fl. Just visiting the area.

me and my mother were shopping there today in produce and came down a aisle in produce the boy was standing in the aisle my mother said excuse me so she can get by and the boy rolled his eyes at my mother and did not move!! I had to say excuse me very loud and he had an attitude!! Very bad customer service definitely not friendly. If i wasn’t with my mother I would’ve had a few words for him!! I see this is a common issue with the store “not friendly associates”, that’s bad! why work if you don’t have a good attitude there is plenty of people wanting to work!! Management needs to get it together and train them better!!

Google
One star was given because of how incredibly uncomfortable I felt in the store today, Memorial Day 2022. Paid a visit around 12:45 PM. I found all the products that I did need which were all incredibly fresh. The young produce man helped me pick good mangoes that were ready to be used today. The store was clean and smelled clean as well. When I made it to the register the young lady working the register made me feel so uncomfortable that I actually felt embarrassed. When I first walked up to the register after waiting in line behind 3 people she looked at me and rolled her eyes and didn’t even try to hide it at all. I feel as though if you’re not Spanish they don’t want to help you and have an attitude. I will never returned to this store. Plenty of other places I’d rather give my hard earned money to & feel a little respect at least. Unless you’re Spanish stay home!

Yelp
I was in Atlantic City and I wanted to buy some Latin products to bring to my mum, that's when I found this super market. The market is medium size with a lot of variety of products from different countries in Latin America. The quality of the vegetables was good and the isles were well defined. If you are looking for Peruvian Products, the selection is amazing as you can see in my photos. Th only reason why it is only 3 stars is because they do not have a fresh bakery area and the cleanliness of the market (including their restroom) is not that good.

Yelp
I will not shop here! They leave their flyers all over the neighborhood creating trash and garbage as their workers walk all over our property. Stop leaving flyers all over! Want me to read it...pay for postage! At least then I can throw your trash in the garbage instead of throwing in the trash after catching it in my yard.

Yelp
Some cashier talks too much with each other while you are trying to check out. The guys by the meat area are always excellent.

Yelp
I used to work on their forklift and electric pallet jacks, and I can attest to the cleanliness here. Awesome owner, and everybody is awesome! I' d shop there for their excellentbmeats alone, but they're kinda far from where I live.. but I highly recommend them!

Yelp
This is by far the most awesome place to shop. Every shelf stocked and extremely neat. Soo clean. Forget Walmart these prices are great and the special insane !!! Vegetables are fresh. Not frozen in the bins at night. If you don't know what to do with a veggie that my seem weird to us white folk. Ask the person next to you they will go on about things to do with it. Everyone is so friendly. Customers included. Like the way it should be. Everyone is like a family at a bbq. We chat ya know..

Yelp
Today was my second time going to this store in the past 2 months, and I have to say it is really nice and clean. I noticed it has been open for a while a now prior to going and it is bigger than other Spanish grocery stores in the area, more diverse in products from Central America & South America, as well as the islands ex Jamaica. I have a pros and cons of the grocery store . For the Latino area this is a great addition to the area, in servicing to the community. It is very hard to find a grocer that does not cater to one specific country of origin and that is not in the city. Still while it looks like supermarket it still has a convenience store price aka pretty high for that convenience , compared to Walmart or Shoprite, for the same America items. Vegetables and fruit at Asian supermarket/Produce junction has better competition, but for certain cuts of specialty meats and packaged items from Latin america is worth it. But they need more work in customer service ( has a lot to do with difference in culture as well ) ,and re thinking outlay of the store poor floor planning. I do not know if it was to keep cost low from building bigger or not. But it really puts a damper on the shopping experience due to the layout of the store, the design in my opinion is not in any way constructed to be inviting or to linger in any space too long with it's tight corners and aisles, barely 2 people can walk down aisle while pushing a cart . Only if your petite and skinny ,having a regular push shopping cart is redundant when you can barely turn without hitting something or someone for that matter, best to get the little carry on carts for efficiency and if you need to get more stuff bring some one along so they can carry a second little cart. The employees other than the cashiers do not in any way have any manners and it shows with their management, they just try to squeeze past you without saying anything to give notice to their presence when in the store. Since the store is so claustrophobic it is hard to move around people, today as well was the same thing, with management in the section of the freezer where all the baked goods are. The managers/supervisors a woman with a pink/rosada blouse and a older man in a suit, pushed there way beside me and a family member without a excuse me or sorry ( not even in Spanish) and preceded to block our way in their attempts to do what they need to do with no remorse . Only when the older man in the suit in his attempts to brush/push past us knocked over bags of chips acknowledged us only by slightly looking at me and then at the bags of chips, as if though I did it. When he saw I was not making any attempt to pick them up, since I was not a fault he picked them up then again he continued to talk with the other women in the pink blouse, as if though they did not try to bulldoze us over just seconds prior. While turning the cart into next aisle they did not really attempt to move for us to to be able to get out of the freezer section. As we got out of the little corner of the freezer, going towards where the candles are. The older woman in the pink blouse walked very briskly passed us and another couple with the older man in the suit trailing along in almost in a very authoritarian manner, without any regard to whom was walking, no excuse me or pardon me with her little clipboard. Any business has to respect the customer to some degree, It is quite hard to support a small Latino business owners, since the air of elitism is thick in a neighborhood that needs a access to a market for necessity . In this scenario since they are the biggest so far.. as I said, with the various selection of products they feel that it does not matter how their customer service is. People will come regardless due to necessity, it is not about over the stars back bending down service, but common courtesy that she( pink blouse ) and the older man( in suit) seem to lack. Karma is a real beach, sooner or later another market will open bigger and better as theirs, hopefully with some class and hospitality in tow. With all that I have written here, you will not be disappointed on what you find in there , in that I give it five stars, the 2 stars is for rude management . So please do go, but to go with the best mental readiness. Stock up so as not to have to come as often if you are a claustrophobic person or allergic to rude people !! Pros: -Close by -good selection from each country - fresh produce -meat section is clean and tidy -parking - girls on the cashier are fast at check out. Cons - stockers are rude - management is rude - aisle are too squished together - parking quite a bit hectic - prices are a bit high for American brands even for a regular supermarket. - claustrophobic

Yelp
Absolutely the best Spanish supermarket I've ever shopped at . The variety is enormous. I'm not Spanish and everyone there made me feel welcome. Extremely helpful and polite staff . The Mexican sausage is fresh and delicious. Try the fresh behind the counter Oaxaca Cheese .

Yelp
I went to the store to buy a panini press on 1-14-21 and when I got to my house it was broken. So I went to the store right away to returned it. I went to costumer service and I was helped by a cashier name Martha and the manager Claudia. The first thing she says to me is if I broke it. Okay was the last one on the shelf and also expensive. Why should i broke it if I was dying for one. So then the manager says to me that they don't sell this item at the store. Really loud and everyone just started at us. I was so humilliated and so upset. Okay so why is the name of the store, address and item number with the price on the receipt. So when she comes back, she is like yeah we do sell it here. So when I started calling them on what they said to me, they got mad at me. I was a loyal customer. I almost when there everyday. I will nerver go back to that store again.

Yelp
I find that customer service at La Cosecha is absolutely on point. In the two years in shopping here, no one has ever been rude to me. Although I am quite limited in speaking Spanish, personnel works with me if I don't understand how to ask for a particular item. I have also found that other customers are also very helpful if I point at something and ask what it is or what it's use is. The store is CLEAN!! It's wonderful to walk into a market and not smell bleach that tries to cover the scent of meats gone bad. The meats are always fresh and it very nice to find foods you don't find in supermarkets. I give a five star rating in customer service and the market itself!!

Yelp
New market has almost everything you need for your vacation food needs. We stopped here after brunch at Mambo Café, since they're across the street from each other. We needed a few simple supplies for our outdoor adventures, like ice, water, napkins, tea, etc. Pleasant staff.

Yelp
This is by far the best Hispanic plus supermarket I've ever been to. This place is superclean!! How do I know that, well I bumped into a worker is was wiping down the shelves and wiping off the dust from the cans. What supermarket does that. The staff were excellent. Their produce and meat section is super clean and organized! The only thing I didn't like was that the store feels small. They have just about everything you can think of in the Hispanic food area, but they also cater to American foods.
