La Cucina di Pescepane

This restaurant is located in an adorable area. We chose the house wine which was delightful. We started with the fried artichoke and 3 dips. That was great. My husband had the fish and chips. I chose a special of pasta with clams. Everything was well presented. But, the main courses were heavily salted. I couldn’t finish my pasta because of the amount of salt; my husband did that for me. We chose a cheesecake and the baked apple desserts which were excellent.

I visited this restaurant twice for dinner and the first time it was a the begining of the evening and the meal and service was very good. The second time it was late in the evening and things varied a bit as you could tell the energy and attention level was not the same. I ordered the same dishes but on the second night my seafood plate was missing some items and was overcooked. I did not get the tender juicy seafood I was expecting. We also got the seafood crostone as a starter and unfortunately they were not the best.

Nice and quiet little restaurant with great seafood. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Had to book a table a couple of days in advance but it was worth it.

Thanks for great&fresh seafood. It’s really hard to find nice place for seafood in Florence. But finally I found it :) I already miss the juice from shrimp’s head lol

Really good place to eat sea food and have a great time with friends and family, it has the best plates.

This very charming and unassuming restaurant has some of the best seafood I’ve had anywhere. We had tuna tartare, grilled squid, and fried zucchini flowers as appetizers and grilled octopus, spaghetti with clams, and tagliolini with seafood as main. All were amazing. We’ve eaten a lot of seafood on this trip (starting with 3 days in Venice and 5 in Florence) and this place was our favorite. The grilled pulpo was phenomenal - perfectly cooked, very tender. The service was wonderful - the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the overall ambience was really pleasant. Highly recommend!

Home made 🍷 and dishes was great. Especially seafood Parmigiana
