Where to Smoke a Cigar and Enjoy a Cocktail in Los Angeles | Eater LA

"The back room at La Descarga might be one of the best cigar scenes in the city, with a fantastic selection of rare rums and spirits to go with the solid lineup of cigars. Just poke into the far room after entering through the mezzanine closet door, a spectacle in itself. Unfortunately, the cigar selection is pretty limited, though what they offer tends to be very high quality. Folks are welcome to bring cigars here as well." - Matthew Kang

"At this Cuban rum bar, you walk through a fake closet into a cool, bi-level speakeasy. Even if you wouldn't normally order it, rum is the best choice here as they have many small-batch, esoteric varities, which are great on their own or mixed into one of the very well-made cocktails (complete with hand-carved ice). Be warned that this is one of the few places in LA that's still cigar-friendly. There's great music that you'll want to move to, including salsa and live jazz."

LA’s Most Festive Bars for the Winter | Eater

"Take a well-deserved vacation to Cuba without even leaving LA. That’s the idea behind this speakeasy-style Koreatown bar that’ll have you dropping all your seasonal stresses on the dance floor to live salsa music — often with burlesque accompaniment. Reserve well in advance to avoid the line (and dress to impress) and flit from the cigar room to the packed dance floor and to the bar for rum-based cocktails such as a mojito or daiquiri, or choose from a long list of rums from the world over." - Vox Creative

Awesome atmosphere! The whole Havana vibe gave me all the feels 😍 (2nd generation Cuban🇨🇺💃🏼.) The burlesque show was so fun! It was tasteful, beautiful and interactive. The band was incredible too. It was a great first time experience. My only suggestion is getting there early because it gets packed quickly and also a folding hand fan would come in handy ladies ( and gentlemen, if you wanna make a good impression 😉) because it gets really hot in there, plus it would go with the aesthetics. I'm planning on checking out their free salsa class on Tuesday night at 8:30pm with my boyfriend. Sounds like a great time. Can't wait!

La Descarga is a hidden treasure that offers one of the most authentic and immersive speakeasy experiences in Los Angeles. From the moment you step through the discreet entrance, you’re transported to a bygone era of charm, sophistication, and excitement. The venue’s ambiance is exquisite, reminiscent of Havana nights with its vintage decor, dim lighting, and a lively, welcoming atmosphere. The Cuban music is a standout feature, with live performances on weekends that are nothing short of electrifying. The musicians capture the heart and soul of Cuban rhythms, creating a vibe that’s impossible not to dance along to. And speaking of dancing, La Descarga takes it a step further with their breathtaking dance show. The performers exude passion and energy, seamlessly blending traditional Cuban styles with a touch of theatrical flair. It’s a captivating experience that makes the night feel truly special. The process to get in is straightforward and reasonable, adding to the speakeasy mystique without being overly exclusive. Once inside, the exceptional service and expertly crafted cocktails make it well worth the visit. Each drink feels like a journey through time, perfectly complementing the enchanting surroundings. La Descarga is not just a bar; it’s an experience. Whether you’re looking for a unique date night, a celebration, or simply a memorable evening, this venue delivers in every way. Highly recommended for anyone who loves music, dance, and a touch of adventure!

Came here for my friends birthday on a Thursday evening. The place was nearly empty at 930pm but quickly filled up as soon as the live band and burlesque performances started! I had the mojito and it was perfect and not sweet (which I loved). Come for a good time and good music! I also here on certain nights of the week the teach dancing, so I’ll have to come back

Google
Bar and lounge, speakeasy. During midweek not busy and locals having great time salsa dancing. Drink are expensive , lots of bottle service , really cool cabaret show two or three times a night. Great service. No food that I know of. Smoking lounge with cigars available

Google
Nice but small space. Main space was very small crowded couldn’t dance. Hard to see burlesque on top balcony and only one came out briefly. One bartender did good for being solo. The cigar lounge was bigger with another bar but Smokey lol. No food service.

Google
When getting bottle service, in addition to tip, they’ll slap on an “entertainment fee” even if they the table you’re assigned is not where the artists perform. This place is extremely small and gets ridiculously crowded, even if you have your own table, chances are people will be bumping into you. Typically a benefit of getting bottle service is the fact that you have your own personal space. That is not the case at this location.

I go on Tuesday, salsa night. The instructor is top notch, class starts at 8:30 pm,don't be late. The bartenders are impeccable, amazing to watch them work and the drinks are fantastic. You can reserve a table, but not absolutely necessary. There are a couple of burlesque shows starting at 10pm. The dancers are amazing. One room has live music, the other room allows smoking. I always have a drink and a cigar there. I highly recommend checking this place out. They have valet for 20 bucks or you can look for street parking.

Google
I’m surprised to see this bar wasn’t reviewed higher so I thought I’d chime in. I’ve been here a handful of times for free Salsa classes Tuesday night and free Bachata on Wednesdays and it was awesome! WHY ITS AWESOME - This place is a secret speakeasy in a part of town you’d never expect and they do cool shhh at the door when you enter (love the attention to detail). - The ambiance is amazing. - This is one of the few salsa classes I’ve been to where the entire group skews young and relatively hot. - The salsa teacher skews hot lol. She’s an amazing teacher and breaks things down extra well for beginners. I’ve taken a lot of salsa classes and this stands out by far. - Later in the night (after salsa) there’s dancing, live musicians and burlesque! The fact that there’s no cover, free salsa lessons, and free live entertainment makes me feel spoiled drinks are like $20, but how else is this place supposed to pay performers and make money? Whether you go to salsa or you want to go out, this place is cool

Yelp
Their website hours are incorrect, they open at 9pm. We and several others had a reservation at 8pm but they didn't open officially until 9. The speakeasy entrance is fun and the vibes are very prohibition meets old school Cuba. The back room has a cigar room where you can actually buy Cuban cigars to smoke. The front room has a live band and burlesque show but they started later than we expected - like 10:30pm instead of 10pm. The show was excellent though so quite worth it. I only tried a mojito for drinks but it was tasty! A fun place for a night out but beware if you're wearing heels, it's kind of same rules as a Vegas club. Only tables and seats if you do bottle service!

Yelp
La Descaga is an interesting Houston bros bar. You can smoke cigars in the back, which is interesting and fun, and there is burlesque every hour I believe on the weekends. Live music most of the time also. They don't serve any food here.. but the drinks are good quality. 10$ for a corona in a bottle though... They do salsa lessons, and make sure not to be late or the instructor will verbally abuse you in front of the entire class. (Skip the salsa nights ) The female bartender is pretty rude , BUT the patrons are extremely friendly and nice. Other than that, it's a fun place to dance with someone you want to have a fun night with, the patrons

Yelp
If you're looking for an honest review, here it is. The place is great. Drinks are great. Music and ambiance are great. Unfortunately the place is a whole SCAM. Entry is complicated and overpriced. From what I read and experienced, property especially phones are stolen here all the time and the place is in on it. I only had one drink because I breast feed and still someone managed to snatch my phone out of my bag. Got so bad the Dj was announcing there was theft going on, but I guess that's their routine to make it seem like they're "doing something about it." So yeah enjoy at your own risk. I personally wouldn't patronize this place anymore. PS. I need my phone because I'm a new mom and my dad has just had open heart surgery. God forbid I went out to enjoy myself a bit and lost what I needed to be in touch with them. That's just my story. People have it worse so think about who you're giving business to when you come here. LAPD seriously should get involved.

Yelp
I had a really good time. Salsa dancing in the front, with a live band and a burlesque show. WOW! I am just glad I was able to get in, place gets packed. Back room is open air - so people are smoking cigarettes and cigars. Not really my favorite but you are able to still breathe. A nice size bar an huge dance floor. Table booths against the wall. Rigo was very helpful! Alexis not so much.

Yelp
It's a cool Latin spot with good music, different music rooms and several bars. Ladies, bring comfortable shoes. Not much seating available.

Yelp
Cuban themed speakeasy! Apparently on Tuesday nights this place teaches salsa lessons and then after the students can put the lessons to use with the live band that plays! This place was great, loved the variety of salsa music, not just Cuban! As the night got longer they even started playing reggaeton to keep the vibe going. I will totally be coming back here for a salsa night. Also, there was a cabaret show but unfortunately I missed it was told she uses fire too

Yelp
This place is always packed. Fast dancing, live band from mezzanine above, burlesque show on the second story stage. Drinks are flowing here, make sure you study up on some Peruvian or South American cocktails so you get something good to go with the vibe. Don't forget to light up a stick in the next room over, they have a smashing cigar bar that looks like a snapshot out of a 1960s movie.

Yelp
Sent here on a Saturday night and it was pretty busy so had to wait like 30min to get in. I loved the entrance that they do if you're a first timer to give you that speakeasy experience. As soon as you walk in your instantly hit with a ton of culture and great music to create a very unique ambience that makes you just want to dance. Pair all of that with some great cocktails, live music and short burlesque shows that come on every hour, and you have a truly great experience. Although this place is a bit small it never was too crowded and I enjoyed coming here. Highly recommend if you like Latin music, love to dance, and enjoy some great tequila. Salud!

Yelp
Great ambience and entertainment!! Grown and sexy spot if you like good music and dancing. Love the cigar area! One of my go to spots in LA.

Yelp
Went there for the first time on Friday and it didn't disappoint me! Ambiance is really good. Selection of music were great! And the performance of the band and the dancers are excellent! Will definitely come back and bring more friends!

Yelp
One of our favorite places to go to dance. Love getting a table in the cigar lounge (not for the faint hearted who can't handle cigar or cigarette smoke) Great music and vibes. Plus their punch bowls are delicious! They also have a couple shows in the main room which is always a pleasure to watch. Make sure to use the "speak easy" entrance for a fun way to enter! They do follow a dress code so dress accordingly!
google avatar

Yelp
Absolutely LOVED this bar! I wish I could give a 4.5 but I can't. From the entrance to the exit this place is such an experience, one of my favorite speakeasy's I've been too. You walk in the secret entrance and enter into an active scene. The drinks are tasty, the music is loud and inviting, and the staff are so fast and helpful! This should absolutely be a stop on your trip to Los Angeles! Make sure you make a reservation at least a week in advance. You won't regret it, we'll be back for sure!

Yelp
I absolutely love this hidden gem. We came here for a friends birthday and had one of the best times. The music is phenomenal, the ambiance is superb and the employees are top notch. I recommend getting a table but you can also come for a night cap drink. They had a live band when we went but there are multiple rooms so one is traditional Spanish music with a band (not sure if this is only weekends) and then the back room which has a DJ that plays new faster pace songs. They have it set up as a speakeasy, if you've never been to one before this is the perfect one to get your toes wet with. They also offer valet but I don't remember how much it was.

Yelp
Not a place to go if you are looking for a salsa dancing night, as I was. Very polite staff including the parking lot attendant at the cheaper lot down the street. I did the reservation online so I did not have to pay for entry. People were definitely having a good time. It is more of a place to go in a pack of girl friends or as a couple. The live band was great so I did enjoy them. I think I lasted 45 minutes before deciding to head home.
google avatar

Bryant C.

Yelp
Very cool ambiance. It was my first time here and the speakeasy entrance reminded me of Coco by Disney Pixar. Loved the atmosphere. Drinks were ok but fairly pricey (most were around $18). My partner and I did the salsa class and it was fun! Tip: DO NOT come late. Some people came late and the teacher called them out, which is fair since the moves build on each other. The teacher is very strict but so good!
google avatar

Erica A.

Yelp
Don't let the outside looks fool you. Inside is a great time. They do have two bars connected so It's double good vibes. They even had a burlesque show .

T. P.

Yelp
Was booking for a "Standing Reservation" to celebrate a birthday and got a call back to "recommend that we NOT choose La Descarga" due to footwear. (One in our group has a sprained ankle and will be "unable to wear heels") Really? "She might get a cut from broken glass" ..What? Now... This smacks of discrimination, ageism, and sexist. I'm truly offended. I know, just a few, lesbian girlfriends, that will NEVER wear heels. So, just because we have vaginas, heels are mandatory? Look, I respect a dress code, appreciate it in fact. This is bizarre and ridiculous.
google avatar

Yelp
One of my top speakeasies in the LA area. It is a little cramped inside and can be sketchy navigating the unique entrance, but it makes for some good fun. It has several small rooms to check out. I'm not big on smoking so I skip the cigar room. There is an occasional burlesque-style show that includes some kind of silly latin booty shaking choreo if I remember, but a good vibe. An acceptable date spot, though in the last room there was not much dancing when I went, and my date was a bit shy.
google avatar

Christian G.

Yelp
La Descarga is the perfect Cuban-themed speakeasy bar for a night out on the town. The only stump? It's super exclusive on the weekends and reservations are required. I have celebrated my birthday once here and on another occasion was lucky to get in. Other than that, the drinks, the music and the vibe are amazing! There is a cigar lounge aside from the main room where you can get cigars and drinks.

Yelp
Nothing but the best. Never ate here but came for drinks show and cigars. Service is good but crowded and ambiance is perfect. Great hang out place lots of fun
google avatar

Rose B.

Yelp
Fun spot! Came here with a group of friends and it was fun. It's a good mix of places to sit down and talk and places to dance. The burlesque show was very tame fyi, which I appreciate. My only critique is the website emphasizes a dress code but it is definitely not enforced.
google avatar

Yelp
My favorite bar in Los Angeles! Live music, great ambience, amazing mojitos and the show is the best. I always take people who are visiting LA for the first time and they always loved it!

Yelp
Gives off a speakeasy vibe! Great for a girls night or date night. Drinks were creative and delightful. Burlesque Show was entertaining! Vibe: Great music, makes you want to dance all night Drinks were refreshing and creative! Live music ! The band was very talented! Burlesque show happens every hour. Great entertainment and gets you in the mood to dance. Staff were kind and keep checking around for everyone's safety (which I appreciated) Environment: Hard to find parking but they do have Valet. Long Line after 10ish ( came pretty early ) They have street tacos and a food truck nearby which is great to end the night I was informed that we needed reservations but the bouncer was very kind and allowed us to come in. Im not sure how to reserve a spot though.

Yelp
Super cool little speakeasy in Hollywood. Bar gets crowded fast but the drinks are really good. As far I could find, there's only on women's restroom so that was a good wait. There's two rooms for dancing and a separate lounge area for sitting. The music was really good they had a great mix that night I went. Parking is a mission tho I had to pay $20 for parking.
google avatar

Yelp
google avatar

Yelp
Great place. The drinks are good, the ambiance is terrific and the entertainment was very enjoyable.

Keily O.

Yelp
I'm so disappointed about this place. This was my favorite place to go for 4 years. Last night I went with my family and friends to celebrate my birthday, and first they try to charge $100 per parking, when I know they charge 25$, I was driving a Corvette and I think they try to get money from me, anyway I felt bad and preferred to look for parking on the street around. After that at the entrance they said they are only letting people in if they buy a bottle of tequila and get a tablet for $365. We accepted. But in the end they charged $505 so we asked why? They said that they took 100$ for tip, but they didn't even ask us how much we wanted to give for tip. We try to talk to them and the manager was so rude, here in the video you can watch the way he talked to us. He said that they can take de 20% like a tip, but $130? That was more than the 20% of what we spent.

Yelp
Weekend nights are now busier, making it challenging to gain immediate entry, a clear sign of the venue's growing popularity. It's advisable to make a reservation at least a week ahead to secure your spot. While the atmosphere is enjoyable, the main dance floor can get overly crowded. Don't miss out on the captivating \

Kylie C.

Yelp
I really love this bar. The drinks are great and there's a cigar lounge which is cool. There's also live music and burlesque shows which are awesome!
google avatar

Ayoosh K.

Yelp
LA doesn't have too many speakeasy's. This is gotta be top 3. I've been here mostly during weeknights and it's bumping. Tuesday has salsa with tacos outside. Staff is friendly. Vibes like Mehcio.
google avatar

Vince R.

Yelp
Fun place to dance and have drinks with a speakeasy Havana vibe. Not a huge place and it gets pretty packed but it's a great experience if you want to experience Live Salsa and burlesque dancers on the bar.

Jim P.

Yelp
Denied entry to my girlfriend for some made-up reason about her shoes. Kept changing their story when we pointed out they were letting in other people with similar shoes. Clearly they didn't want to say the real reason. Rude.
google avatar

Javy G.

Yelp
This place is what they say, Shady. I was overcharged for drinks. 4 days later, they charged another amount. The phone doesn't work. Disgrace of an establishment. Stay away from this so-called Cuban club

Yelp
AVOID THIS PLACE GIRLS!!!! Seemed really cool at first, the drinks were awful tho. The burlesques aspects and the music is top tier. But the issue here ultimately lies with whoever is managing this place. DONT GIVE THIS BUSINESS YOUR MONEY!!!! My friend and I were roofied here and the guy that did it was really obvious about it (walked up didn't say a thing to us and he like did like a magician swoop over my friends drink ) like wtf and even the security tapped him on his shoulder afterwards so I assumed that he was getting kicked out but no the security kinda just whispered something to him and that guy (older middleeaster/Latino wearing ridiculously tight skinny jeans and big clunky sneakers) was on his phone recording our group and my friends almost the whole night. We threw the drink away and ordered another round but I think that was roofied by the bar tender or maybe by the guys friends who were a table away from us. I had an awful espresso martini, a roofied whisky sour and two shots and I've been throwing up since. I'm 5'11 200 lbs I can drink. I can hold my liquor But this place doesn't serve liquor. They serve roofies. So there's two conclusions that I got out of this experience: 1 this whole place is in on it (the security guy proved it) hope y'all get what's coming to y'all. 2 there's a few bad apples working here making the whole place look like a dump. Regardless of what it is the end of the day management needs to do better. Provide a safer place. There's cameras and there's no excuses! Do it right or just don't. Stop being EMBARASSING

Yelp
Loved this speak easy place. Drinks were fabulous and the service was top notch. A must go!

Yelp
Fun and unique hot spot with fresh drinks. The ambience is the best part about La Descarga, that is until it becomes overly crowded. My husband and a small group of us visited early in the evening and really enjoyed the atmosphere, the cigar lounge and the live music. As the night progressed things got more and more compacted with a lot of people. We're not nightclub regulars, so we found it to be a very uncomfortable experience when we couldn't easily access walkways to navigate from room to room. If you're looking to get the best upscale experience with room to show-off some Latin dance moves go during the week, or early on the weekends. Tip: this is not a cash-free friendly spot. Bring cash for valet, entry, drinks etc. Parking is awful, plan to valet.

Humera M.

Yelp
THIS PLACE IS RUN BY THIEVES. If you're a woman, I wouldn't go here unless you want to be attacked, robbed, and yelled at by incompetent employees just for asking for assistance. I had my phone stolen there last night (along with multiple other women) and the staff offered NO help, or even any kind words. Instead, they were beyond RUDE, disrespectful, and kicked out me and the other women who were victims of theft. It's clear they are working with and/or protecting the thieves. Full Story: I was at La Descarga on a Saturday night. I was constantly checking to make sure that my purse was secure because the place was so crowded and I was being overly cautious. I was in the main room but it was way too crowded and we could barely move/breathe so we decided to go to the second room. On the walk over to the other room, I checked my purse on my shoulder. The clasp was locked. I entered the room and started dancing with my friends. Less than 2 minutes later, I checked my purse on my shoulder again, and I noticed it was unlocked. I looked inside, and my phone was gone. I immediately knew it was stolen. I walked to the nearest security guard and told him what happened. He said he would check with his managers to see what they could do. I quickly logged into findmyiphone on my friend's phone. It showed that the phone was still there. The security guard then returned and told me that he reviewed the security camera footage and that a 'little boy' stole my phone. (this is a 21+bar, WTF). He said all he could tell me was that it was a 'little man looking boy'. I asked if the DJ in that room could pause the music for a few seconds so I could play the findmyiphone alarm sound. He said he would check with his manager. He disappeared for like 10-15 minutes. While he was gone, a woman came up to me with her husband and said that her phone was just stolen too. I looked for the missing security guard and found him standing outside with his manager. The manager asked me to step over to him so we could talk directly. There were two other women there whose phones were also just stolen too. He told me there was nothing he could do except take my name and email address to reach out to me if my phone showed up. I asked again if he would pause the music for 10 seconds (as they've done multiple times throughout the night for various announcements) so I could play the alarm sound in the small room because my phone and the thief were still in there. He said that he wouldn't disturb the other guests just for me and the other woman. But I'm sorry, if you know there are thieves in your establishment actively stealing from multiple of your customers, wouldn't you want to do something about that to protect your customers. It's clear they don't care. He told me that people get drunk in here all the time and drop their phones and claim they've been stolen. He was trying to gaslight me. I told him that I hadn't had a drink all night and was sober. I asked him if I could watch the security camera footage the other security guard was talking about. He then started raising his voice at me. He was yelling saying that there's over 300 people in there and how dare I expect him to watch the footage right now. I very calmly told him that I didn't ask anyone to review the footage, the other security guard voluntarily told me that the security camera footage had been reviewed and that he saw a little boy/man take my phone. I just want to see that same footage if it's possible to figure out who in the bar had my phone so I could get it back. He started yelling at me and calling me a liar. At this point, I walked away from him because he wasn't offering me any help. I walked back inside to find one of my friends so they could order me an Uber so I could leave this godforsaken establishment. I was standing near the exit about to walk back outside to leave when the same manager/security guard walks up to me and yells at me that I need to leave the establishment. He proceeded to go back inside and kick 2 of my friends out too. (Mind you - they had no interactions with this man, he just knew they were with me). Shocked is an understatement to what I was feeling in this moment. MY phone was stolen, and he offered me NO help, yet he was kicking ME out.I understand that businesses aren't required to help you in times like these. I could accept that. But his ATTITUDE was unacceptable. He is one of the most inconsiderate and disrespectful people I have ever encountered. I'm truly appalled that instead of helping any of us victims of theft, the security at La Descarga told us all to leave. That told me all I need to know. The staff of La Descarga is either working with the thieves, or they are the thieves, or they're intentionally tuning a blind eye because they're lazy fucks who don't care about their customers. This place is either run by criminals of just insanely negligent people. Either way I won't ever return.

Yelp
So are waiting over a week for a reservation confirmation i get it via email about 24hrs prior. It sucks that they ask for a 48hr notice for a cancelation when they dont provide ample notice so you could plan your night out. This place has lost its luster. Whats the point of taking you through the top entrance if they are just going to usher you through like cattle. Dont waste you money on the cigars. You could smoke on the dance floor or the hallway like a junkie getting a fix. No real section to sit and enjoy a smoke. This place is just another club. Nothing special about it.

Yelp
I love this place!!! I've been coming here since la Descarga opened. Every speakeasy bar opened by the Houston Brothers carry their own themed and different music. La Descarga is my favorite! Latin vibes! It has great music, beautiful burlesque show with an amazing jazz band, friendly staff, delicious unique drinks. This place brings you into another world. This place is meant to Socialize and dance the night away. Their cigar lounge has expanded which gives you more room for dancing! My Favorite bartenders are Carlo and Rigo, they make the best drinks. Yes, people talk about how crowded and small this place is but that's expected for it being such a popular location. You want to take a break from the regular clubs? Come here as well as any other speakeasy bar the Houston Brothers have!

Yelp
BE WARNED !!! This was a disappointing experience last night for the La Descarga New Year's Eve party. Having it oversold beyond capacity... I felt like calling the Los Angeles Fire Department on them . Very dangerous ! Couldn't drink couldn't dance couldn't move couldn't breathe... Seriously? And I kept seeing more and more people being let in as we approached midnight. I actually felt sorry for the groups that dropped $1200+ for a table because I was blocking them for the whole show ....I was standing in front of them.... there was no space!! Will never recommend this club again... And it's too small for salsa dancing anyway. -Mark

Yelp
Didn't try the food if they had any. Service was great very attentive. They don't really have any deserts for birthdays would have to probably bring your own or plan something ahead. The entrance was very cool I thought I was going to get robbed lol or kidnapped but very cute entrance. No flash when taking pictures inside. Lots of fun but it can get crowded later at night so arrive when they open. Dressy style for this place. The show plays every 45 min I believe. Different ones.

Yelp
If you're looking for a place where you can enjoy good music & drinks La Descarga will not disappoint you ! I've hosted a few Girl Nights here and I'm always blown away with a fun night. They have a cool band playing live music & beautiful girls performing Burlesque shows which will have you dancing the whole night away along with , Bartenders who are very attentive and ready to take your order , Drinks are also very good and have never been disappointed. La Fresita is one of my favorites but sometimes I ask "dealers choice" and allow the bartender to serve me a new drink and let me tell you I've never been disappointed. This place offers you the best of the best and if you need a sign to go out this is your sign to come out to LA Descarga and dance the night away

Yelp
Attended a birthday celebration at La Descargo. It is a very unique place that does burlesque but also Cuban themed. The staff is friendly and the drinks we had were delicious. There was booth type seating and two separate areas; however both areas are pretty small. By 10pm, both areas were packed! They did have a few seating areas that could be reserved (not sure on price). Valet parking was 25 and there was a 20 cover fee per person. I would definitely attend again!

Yelp
The music is top tier! Very energetic ambiance, great place for a night out. The decor is stylish and creates a inviting space. The crowd is very friendly and majority of them dance salsa so good! Bartenders are great and drinks a good too.

Yelp
Consistently fun place, great free salsa classes on Tuesday, beautiful speakeasy vibe for the burlesque show, awesome reggaeton floor. One of my favorite spots for a night out in LA, even fun on a weekday. They stay open late and don't really start popping off until 11:30

Yelp
I had been wanting to check this place out for a while and thankfully had a chance to check it out. This is a really cool dimly lit speakeasy that offers a unique experience in the area. We got there pretty early and enjoyed a mostly empty space which was nice so we could explore the two rooms and easily get drinks. After a while it started to get crowded and soon after the burlesque dancer began her performance. She performed right in the middle of the dance floor which was a really cool experience. The performer was accompanied by musicians playing instruments and unfortunately I'm absolute clueless as to what those instruments were but I'd rather not attempt to name them. I really enjoyed the music, mostly Cuban and the like, and the ambiance was excellent for a night out or a date. Highly recommend!!

Yelp
this place is shady and a fraud. It's weird that 7 people phones get stolen and no one there does nothing about it. they all know about it and they don't warn the costumers. i think LAPD needs to investigate!!!
