"La Famiglia Giorgio’s is one of the few places in the North End where you can feed a crowd without parting with a small fortune. The large menu full of American Italian favorites is ideal for picky eaters, and their wide range of vegetarian and gluten-free options makes this place a godsend for those with dietary restrictions. The portions here are enormous, and restaurant policy stipulates that each diner must order either an app or an entree, so plan accordingly. We like the slices of stuffed eggplant rollatini full of stretchy mozzarella, creamy ricotta, and sharp pecorino, as well as the chicken piccata with their housemade linguine pasta. Everything is good here, but “Little Al’s favorite,” which consists of chicken cutlet, broccoli, and gnocchi tossed in a pink vodka sauce, is compulsory. Classics like chicken and eggplant parmesan are among the best versions in the city. Fair warning on the portion sizes — they are huge.
