Nestled in Chelsea, La Famiglia is a nostalgic Italian eatery with a lively atmosphere, where families gather over generous portions of pasta and seafood.
"It might be a coincidence but La Famiglia, an old-school Tuscan spot, feels like it was made for families. Groups, large and small, sit at huge round tables, reaching across to steal a prawn, or—even worse—an entire asparagus and ricotta-filled, creamy walnut sauce-covered piece of ravioli. Family and friends gather, taking up a corner of the huge, holiday-feeling covered courtyard, where laughter is loud and conversations are even louder. Bring a fun group, get your own bowl of pasta and some prawns for the table, and know that whatever the weather, La Famiglia will be a good time." - heidi lauth beasley, jake missing, rianne shlebak

Because as much as everyone feels like family, they’re the kind of family who winter in Courchevel and have inherited a two-bed in Fulham. The seafood is good, the pastas are solid, and a combination of the two is a safe bet—we’re looking at you lobster linguine. Food Rundown photo credit: Rianne Shlebak Gamberoni Allo Spiedo If you don’t order these, you’ll see plates of the chunky grilled prawns being delivered to other tables and wish you did. Meaty with a hint of garlic, these are nice for the table—even if it's just you. photo credit: Rianne Shlebak Tagliolini All’olio Tartufato We’d describe this as a buttery pasta with a hint of truffle. Perfectly pleasant if you’re after something satisfyingly beige that’s not too heavy. photo credit: Rianne Shlebak Linguine All’astice This light and fresh tomato sauce pasta comes with half a lobster, so things will absolutely get messy. But it’s a solid version of the dish and one of the better pastas on the menu." - Rianne Shlebak
