"La Fama is a Wynwood Cuban classic that should be protected at all costs. The place is packed every day for lunch with folks eating seared palomillas and yuca drenched in garlicky mojo. Construction workers bump elbows at the crowded counter every time they take a bite of pan con bistec. If the counter is full, there’s a separate door that leads to a small room with a handful of tables where you can spread out. And you’ll need the space if you order an entree because each one comes with two giant sides. Prices will make you do a double take. That palomilla is just $13.85, and the pan con bistec is $8.30. This sort of place is almost extinct in Wynwood. Almost." - Virginia Otazo

The place was very clean, staff were patient and friendly. I got the fried pork chops with rice and beans, sooooo good! It was enough food for like 3 meals and very affordable! Definitely going back!

I order a tostada but it didn’t had much butter the employees all talking and never serve the food right also order scrambled eggs and bacon witch it was not that good the only good thing was the coffee .

This is what Wynwood use to be, the most authentic place to eat in this Boriken Neighborhood. Food just like Abuela used to make!

This little gem is a historic piece of the neighborhood. It's also one of the few places near Wynwood where you can get a warm meal at 6:00am! Cozy countertop seating, lots of Latin-Caribbean kitsch decorating the whole place. It's just lovely. They have a different special for each day of the week. Can't go wrong with a soup, sandwich, or something crispy :)

I had a chicken sandwich. Asked for extra avocado. One of the best sandwiches in my life. Delicious cuban coffee, friendly service and very good atmosphere in here. I definitely recommend!
