"Even though it’s a 25-minute drive from downtown, La Farm Bakery in Cary is worth finding an excuse to go to the area, whether it’s for the North Carolina Museum of Art or a hike in nearby William B. Umstead State Park. This French bakery has scones, cookies, pastries, and a white chocolate baguette that definitely counts as bread, not dessert. There are also sandwiches like the Croque Madame, or the grilled cheese made with three cheeses and mornay sauce. Finding a seat can sometimes be a pain, but tables turn quickly despite the fact that no one ever wants to leave here." - Christine Byrne

La Farm Bakery – A Flavorful Escape! Stepped into La Farm and it truly felt like a slice of bakery heaven! Tried their sugar cookies, macarons, and the dreamy French Brest éclair – each bite was full of flavor and finesse. The quality, freshness, and delicate textures make it worth every penny. Yes, it’s a tad pricey, but totally justified by the experience. If you’re a dessert lover, this place is a must-visit!

I like coming here, but I feel like it has gone up in price/value. $3.99 for a soft drink is outrageous. The bakery items are so yummy, I next time I will just get a water. Also, the value you get for the breakfast sandwich is not there. I paid over $20 for the food you see in the photo. 🤦‍♂️

Google
I judge a bakery by its almond croissant. This wasn't mind blowing, but it did not disappoint either. A little too crisp on the edges, but the center was delightful. The ham and cheese croissant was also delicious. Pleasant vibes and plenty of outdoor seating as well. It doesn't feel like a true bakery. The offerings seemed geared towards a mass market, but still a convenient bakery for everyday breads and pastries that's a step up from grocery store bakeries nonetheless.

Ohhhh it’s cuteeee! I love it. Very fancy schmancy pants for a little bakery. We got an assortment of treats and I got a coffee, a caramel latte with 2 shots and guess what?! It tastes like the coffee in Seattle! By far the best cup of coffee I’ve had in North Carolina so far. This is a new favorite spot for sure. My only little complaint, for this amount of money, the staff needs to ask if you want any of your items heated up. We ate cookies and a dill scone and a few bites of our blueberry scone, all would have been better heated up. Next time I’ll ask.

If I could go above five stars.. as a local real estate agent I love to bring my out-of-town clients to lunch here when we have an inspection I’ll often times bring lunch to the new buyers just so that they know that there is yummy food really close

Went on a Saturday about 11ish, already packed. Wee bit lost how to order, 3-registers but people were in line. Primarily to look at counter items without cutting anyone off. Got a Sausage Baguette, good taste but a bit dry. Pastry was adequate. Chocolate croissant was perfectly flaky but chocolate cream was hard to find. Overall, a bit more commercial than I anticipated. But, I would return and try something different.

Google
The cinnamon white chocolate scone exceeded my expectations and paired perfectly with the iced latte. So many delicious looking pastries available. Quick and fast service when ordering in on a Sunday morning.

Google
Was hungry and passing by, wanted something quick that wasn't fast food. This place did the trick -- the drip coffee was excellent, and I got a tomato+egg scramble (with side salad) that was honestly delicious. The bakery was WAY bigger than I expected and it took a lot of motivation to hold off on ordering a few sweet treats, everything looked so good!!

Yelp
Went for a treat with my grandson recently and have been here a few other times before. There is plenty of seating and the staff are friendly and helpful. I had a latte with a pastry and grandson had a cookie with milk. All was delicious. I've had the eclairs in the past and they are the best! I have also had lunch here and portions are huge. I could personally use a smaller portion be side I don't like to take leftover sandwiches home. That's probably the only negative I have but I feel that way about many places I eat at. If you like large portions, then you would be 100 percent satisfied here. Service staff in dining room are friendly and helpful and I appreciated that as well!

Yelp
***FOOD: unbelievable amount of items for breakfast & lunch. the baked goods and breakfast are so good. Freshly made baked items and made to order breakfast. Coffee is good too. ***COST (OUT OF 4$) $$ reasonably priced coffee & bakery goods ***DÉCOR: felt like a country coffee shop. Friendly cozy warm. ***SERVICE: quick friendly service. Food took a little while to come out. Really good coffee and lattes. ***RECOMMEND: YES RECOMMEND. Definitely will come back for more of their breads buns croissants and breakfast.

Julia W.

Yelp
I got the spinach and feta baguette, and the ham & cheese croissant. Both were packed with flavor and delicious. My only complaint is that we asked for them to be heated up, and they did not heat them up until they were warm. They were still cold when we ate them. I would still come back for the great coffee and pastries though!

Yelp
Consistency of service & food has decreased a bit in the last few years. It is still a good place to go, but requires a bit of extra Grace & patience :) Went by to get a Pimento Cheese sandwich & was told they don't have in the kitchen. I've been ordering this for over 10 years & today, Alice told me they don't keep this in the kitchen. Oh well... it used to be one of my favorites. On the positive, they have gazpacho back for July.

Phuong Dung N.

Yelp
Outstanding bakery w french pastry. The place is spacious and has plenty of seatings. They offer a wide variery of bread, sandwiches and sweet treats. They also have coffee and tea. I love their pastries so much that I returned the day after to try some more. Their pear ricotta cake was unique and very refreshing. The creame brulee tart is also one of a kind. Everything I tried has the perfect level of sweetness which is rare to find in the US. Service was quick and friendly. Will def return when I have a chance.

Bill M.

Yelp
Horribly slow. No customers in store. 530pm ordered. 6pm received food. No one before me got food to order

Shanelle Y.

Yelp
It's been many years since I last came to La Farm, so I decided to stop by today. I tried their coffee for the first time (ordered a latte) and it was pretty good! I was happy to see that they have non-dairy milk options and a few different flavored syrup options as well. The workers were friendly and the drinks came out quickly. I came in the afternoon, but thankfully they still had a decent selection of pastries available. I tried a bite of my friends almond croissant, and it tasted fresh and delicious. Their blueberry tart was my favorite treat as a child, so I decided to get one for old times sake, and it was just as good as I remember!

Yelp
This spot is a great space to come and visit. Breakfast or lunch is the perfect spot to meet with friends

Yelp
New favorite bakery in NC. The sandwiches are incredible and you cannot leave without a white chocolate baguette. The flavor is unexpected and delicious.

Rich M.

Yelp
First time here a few weeks ago, we've heard this place from a number of people and tried their stuff at the NC State Fair this year. La Farm presents a cozy feel to its locations and a pleasant place to stop by either for a coffee or a bite to eat. Some seemed to have clients or other small meetings here. The staff is very friendly and not overly rushing you to order. The food is really good here, they had some seasonal sample cake pieces out which were amazing. I feel you can't go wrong with this place, I look forward to coming back again.

Mitch R.

Yelp
Easy and Plenty of Parking as you come on. Food is delicious and plenty of flavors from the wonderful combinations in every plate. You can't go wrong on anything you order Staff is incredible and accommodating to ensure you have a great dining experience.

Melody B.

Yelp
I typically only order bakery items to-go at La Farm, but I finally made time to eat food at the cafe. I went on a Sunday and unfortunately, they only serve brunch on Sundays. Fortunately, the food was delicious! I ordered the crème brûlée French toast and the bread was absolutely perfect. We ordered at the counter and a staff member brought us our food in about 15 minutes. We ate outside and everything was super clean. My next La Farm goal is to try the lunch/dinner menu. It wouldn't be a La Farm trip without getting something new. I decided to try their festive Turkey bread. I believe it was a sourdough bread and it was shaped like a turkey. As always, La Farm never misses with their bread. You can't go wrong ordering anything from the bakery!

Amanda K.

Yelp
I'm so surprised I haven't made a review to this place yet. I go there enough! I don't think you can go wrong with anything on their menu. My go to is the poulet au fromage with chips and extra ranch. All of it is amazing! Another good option is the parisien! Their bread is amazing and so are the cookies. It kills me to not give 5 stars but the past few times I've gone, I've had some problems with their pastries. Their chocolate cake is the best I've ever had and I constantly get it but sometimes it has a slightly old taste. Additionally, I got their crème brûlée tart for the first time and it lacked flavor of any kind. In fact, the biggest flavor present was the freezer burnt taste of the crust. I will continue to get meals from la farm but I might have to stop trying pastries past breads or cookies.

Brittany C.

Yelp
Cute little bakery with a good amount of treats to choose from, fast service and an overall bright atmosphere. Coffee was fantastic.

Christine W.

Yelp
La Farm truly outdid themselves today. We found seating easily and our food came out within 10 minutes. My croque madame was quite delicious! It's my favorite dish. My partner ordered an avocado toast that he really liked. The ambiance there is always nice. Clean, open, and sunlit. The mirrors on the wall make it look even bigger than it actually is.

Tom H.

Yelp
Location is always going to be a plus attached to a grocery store like Whole Foods. Having said that there is always fresh items to choose from and the staff is always extremely friendly and accommodating as much as possible. I will typically pick up a coffee here and while it's not a larger coffee shop with plenty of options, what is here is adequate and the portions are normal sized coffee and lattes. Plenty of seating due to the fact that the Whole Foods has its own bench seating that is available to use. Besides that the indoor seating is almost always adequate unless people don't want to go outdoors (rain, cold etc). Overall I wouldn't park and stop in here only for caffeine but definitely if you're wanting to pick up some bakery items.

Mel T.

Yelp
My husband's family lives in the area, and they love this bakery. I've been a few times, and I still don't get the hype. The pastry items are over-priced, and they just aren't that good. Most of the things I've tried taste like they're already a day old, and there are always flies hovering around them. On this most recent trip, I didn't get any baked goods but I was seeking an iced coffee. I asked if they had decaf iced coffee. The cashier asked if I meant a decaf iced latte. Sure, I'll take whatever decaf iced drink they have. For a moment, I thought I was still ordering the coffee so I asked if they could put milk in it. I was met with a bit of an attitude, and a "well, a latte already has milk in it." Kind of annoying but whatever. The latte itself was $5.40, which was definitely not worth it for the quality or the experience. Plus, the lines are all out of whack. Is it one or two lines? Nobody knows. Next time the family comes back, I'm just going to sit this one out.

Yelp
I enjoy La Farm Bakery's all-day breakfast options. The restaurant is always clean. The service is always exceptional. The staff here are welcoming and pleasant. There is always a staff member who stops and chat with me while working or just being helpful with my order even when I come in and order on the kiosk. Even the customers here are pleasant to one another. High-quality food and service here. I'm appreciative of each visit. I love, love, LOVE the breakfast sandwich egg, bacon, and cheese on fresh croissants or ciabatta bread. So good!

Eric B.

Yelp
My son and I both had a breakfast sandwich on croissants... MAN!!! They were amazing!! Well balanced and eggs were cooked to perfection! Then we picked up a peach scone, chocolate chip chocolate banana bread, and blueberry and raspberry tart... ALL STELLAR!! Well balanced and soft on the scone. The tart was the winner! The banana bread was some of the best I've ever had!(

Neha K.

Yelp
We LOVE LaFarm! Preston corners is a walkable distance for us and our family loves coming here for a perfect weekend Brunch. They have true sourdough based options, plenty for vegetarians and the BLT is likely the best in town. They also have very good coffee to pair with those offerings and have options for a bottle of wine from to sip on their patio. The deserts are wonderful and that white chocolate baguette shouldn't be missed! We also often get the scones and the orange flavor is a home run!

Gina G.

Yelp
We drove 30 min to the Cary La Farm location on 10/13 for a to go order of a sausage breakfast sandwich, spinach frittata and a coffee. The coffee was very good but after getting partially home we looked at the order to see we received 2 frittatas. We turned around and let the kitchen know we didn't get our sandwich. It was remade and halfway home we saw it was bacon not sausage and both frittata were ham. Our order was $36 and we ate none of it. This was after we received an incorrect order at the airport location last week but couldn't go back due to our flight. Overpriced food and you won't get what you order.

Cindy N.

Yelp
First time back in 2 years & finally got the chance to sit down to enjoy my favorite croque madam --was pleased that it wasn't burnt like the last few times I ordered togo. Staff were friendly and the food came out hot. Service was great! I was just sadden go have driven 30 min and they didn't have my pimento cheese spread available to buy.

Duane W.

Yelp
Came across this amazing place and WOW!! This decadent spot has it all. I had the deluxe breakfast sandwich ( Ham, eggs, and cheese). Light and delicious. You will be hard-pressed to come here and not purchase anything to go. The array of prepared foods, baked goods, and food is second to none.

Kristina D.

Yelp
Our first time here and just wow..food was really good and the pastries were out of this world. The best scones I have ever eaten. We truly enjoyed our breakfast and visit.

Jennifer H.

Yelp
A first timer, that met a friend who is much more of a regular visitor to this location yesterday. It was a cute atmosphere and not as busy as I was expecting for a Saturday afternoon. My friend order the tomato scramble with a side of chips which she was very much looking forward to but when her food arrived at the table it came with a side salad. She chalked that up to a healthier option, and never said anything, but it has peaked my interest to return to give these homemade chips a try that she was raving about! I ordered the French toast, which was really good! We also got scones to go and wow, the scone I got was amazing!!

Amit M.

Yelp
La farm bakery INTRO: Bakery/cafe located in Cary. Almond Croissant- sweet and nutty flavor fill with a custard. Pumpkin Chocolate Scone- not very tasty and was extremely dry. Chocolate bar- nothing can ever go wrong with a chocolate bar. Chocolate layer cake- Rich, sweet and delicious. The chocolate flavor you have been looking for. Parking/location- Very small parking lot and hard to find a parking space. Located on NW Cary Parkway. Ambience/Service- Extremely busy when arrived so the wait to order was 15-20 minutes. Has a rustic Farm atmosphere and had inside and outside dining. Includes both a bakery and café portion.

Rick S.

Yelp
Came back again for breakfast and decided to try the Croque Madame and kids French toast (again). The croque madame was made very well. The bread was thick and held up the ham, fried egg and cheese well. The Gruyère cheese was prominent on the palate and the ham was a perfect size, it did not overwhelm the sandwich. The egg was cooked perfectly ( over easy) and ran out beautifully once the bread was cut into. The French toast was good once again and my little one ate every last piece.

Kathi C.

Yelp
The food here has always been spectacular. This time, however, I was pretty disappointed. I always get the same thing, the grilled cheese sandwich with a side salad. It has always been so fabulous! This time, it was like on baby bread, and it was barely toasted. The older lady that I meet with on a biweekly basis had the same thing. She also orders a bowl of tomato basil soup. Hers looked perfect, mine was sorely lacking. I'm so disappointed. My heart breaks for another good grilled cheese sandwich.

Dennis T.

Yelp
Beautiful "farm" decor for a quaint bakery. I'm glad I stumbled upon this place. They had a great display of pastries, jelly, jams, and soups. Fresh orange juice that is prepared for you to pick up and go. The food was delicious. The only takeaway was that the service was long. It took a while for our food to come out. I'm not sure if we just picked a bad way or what. But I noticed some people who came after us that we're still waiting for their food even after I finished eating. I got an egg sandwich with sausage. It comes with a side of fruit. The sandwich comes on a brioche bun. It's a pretty normal sandwich but I would definitely come back to this spot! I'm from out of town and would recommend this spot to anyone coming in the Durham/Raleigh area!

Tracy D.

Yelp
My mom and I visited this location recently for lunch. I wanted to give them a second chance as my last lunch visit was not very good. We arrived at 1:20 pm ( restaurant was not busy)and were able to quickly place our order....2 chicken salad sandwiches with chips and tea. We proceeded to get our tea and the dispenser was empty, so I let a cafe worker know. We waited for over 15 minutes for our food and for the tea to be brewed. When we received our sandwiches they were sloppily made and very skimpy on the chicken salad. (The same thing happened at my previous cafe visit.) The price and quality for the cafe is not worth the value. I'll stick to buying the pastries and bread and avoid the cafe.

Jamie E.

Yelp
I was super excited to try this place and was disappointed. I got the Le Parisien sandwich and an iced americano. The sandwich was just okay- hardly any butter and the bread tasted old. The iced americano was awful. I had to throw it away. The potato chips were the only good part. I might need to return to try the pastries or breakfast. Those seemed to have better reviews!

Linjie S.

Yelp
Way over priced white chocolate baguette. And very mediocre pastry. They can mention they are American country bakery, Chinese country bakery. Just not French bakery. All I can say is American's money is way too easy to take. Go to some pastry school to learn how to make good one, then take customer's money.

Kori M.

Yelp
I popped in to grab a snack and a loaf of bread after hearing everyone rave about it. I wasn't really impressed. There were flies buzzing all over the fresh pastries that were out. The croissants looked really small. I had a gift card so I ordered a $7 piece of chocolate cake, which I normally wouldn't spend the money on. When I handed the cashier my card, she replied "no gift cards." I asked why and she told me the system was down then she just stared at me. Since she hadn't yet grabbed my cake, I told her I'd like to skip it. She said she couldn't remove it from the bill and I'd have to wait for the manager to come back. After waiting for several minutes and seeing the cashier awkwardly fiddle with the items around the register without looking at me or saying a word, I decided to just pay for everything so I could leave. Once I got home, I tried the cake and it tasted no better than a box of Betty Crocker cake mix. The bread, however, was amazing. I will definitely be saving my gift card funds for the bread and passing on everything else. Also, the service at the Whole Foods location is infinitely better than this one!

Vanessa G.

Yelp
Bakery dream come true!!! You walk in and you're hit with the amazing aromas of yummy pastries and freshly baked bread. I got the French toast and once everyone had a piece of it they were wanting their own! We also took home white chocolate cookies and they were delicious even after a few days old of us having them with us. The ambiance was so cute; it was very Parisian and French inspired.

L O.

Yelp
Food and service was excellent. Highly recommend the BLT. The sesame bread was the perfect combination with the crispy bacon.

Ashley S.

Yelp
An incredible bakery chain in the Raleigh-Durham area. Always love coming here for breakfast and treats when I am in town.

Matthew M.

Yelp
Service has gotten pretty terrible. It seems like every time I come now I have to clean off my own table from the previous customers mess. The white chocolate baguettes are half the size they used to and everything is grossly overpriced. It's a bakery/cafe.. not a white tablecloth restaurant. Their product is consistently good but doesn't justify the high prices in my opinion. The fact that you have to request a mug when you get coffee even after you've already told them it's "for here" or they just give it to you in a paper cup is just lazy. Flies visibly landing on the bread as you walk inside is just unappetizing. This place is good but it definitely used to be better.

Luis C.

Yelp
Great place to begin the day! Very nice atmosphere and great selection to choose from. Coffee and the bacon cheddar quiche made the cut, no regrets. I excellent service and attitude.

Hannah F.

Yelp
Popped in to La Farm Bakery in Cary today for some sweet treats & picked up a chocolate/almond croissant along with their mini white chocolate baguette. I have to say I was a bit skeptical of the baguette as I am not a white chocolate fan but it was a wonderful combination. I appreciated that it was the perfect touch of sweet.

Chendella B.

Yelp
First of all, the storefront draws you in and gives you a feel as you're in a bakery in Italy or France. The food was delicious. I had the egg scrambler, added avocado. My husband had a breakfast sandwich. Coffee was great, and the service by Corinna was excellent; she was pleasant, attentive, and prompt. Next time I come fly into Raleigh, we will definitely stop here!

Kristy N.

Yelp
Meh. Over-priced for what it is. Unimpressed by the small sandwich and weak coffee for almost $19 (w/o tip). Also, came here to get some work done over lunch and they do not offer wifi. I don't see a reason to return.

David C.

Yelp
We've been customers of La Farm since moving to the area and had always been impressed with the quality, variety and service. That said, a lot can change in 6 months. A recent visit left much to be desired. $98 for 5 almond croissants, 3 plain croissants, 1 almond & chocolate croissant, 3 tarts, a loaf of bread and some rolls. The almond croissants used to be superb. In fact, we thought of them as the icing on the cake moving here, to have access to the best almond croissants anywhere! loaded with almond filling and so buttery and flaky, yumm! Fast forward to today and they are cutting corners. No, scratch that, they are rounding corners. Easily the almond croissants today have 2/3 less filling. The tarts are DRY DRY DRY. The lemon tart crust was 1/4 inch thick!! The blueberry tart and apple/almond tart both tasted the same--- bland and sweet. Sadly, I doubt we will return. I'm adding pictures for reference. I even scraped the almond from each half to get an idea how much was used. I never took pictures when these used to be filled well so I can't show you a comparison but before they went and cheap'd out, there wasn't a bite lacking in a measurable amount of filling. Now, it's barely enough to lace the croissant with an almond flavor.

Gretchen C.

Yelp
I don't go all the time because I'd eat everything lol but La Farm is a little slice of heaven.. Everything I have is always so yummy down to the Gingerbread latte. The staff are super friendly and always willing to find out if they have something that may be out of season (aka pumpkin spice for my latte lol) and the atmosphere is really quaint and relaxing. Definitely a nice little early morning or late morning spot to grab a quick bite..

Camryn H.

Yelp
Zero gluten free options. As a bakery in 2023, you would expect at least fruit or something. Asked two employees, both said they have nothing gluten free at all. Cute place inside though with TONS of regular pastries! However the no GF options at all really earned the 1 star from me.

Marin J.

Yelp
LaFarm used to disappoint me. But I gave them another try after many many years, and I am glad I did. I cannot say that they have the crossaint game down as tight as say, Boulted does.... the lamination still leaves a bit to be desired. The croissnts run a bit on the gummy side. Probably that is a feature for them, not a bug, as their choc crossaint probably travels better than the traditional Boulted...more genuinely french styled ones...maybe lasts longer on a retailers shelf...perhaps? But where I would say LaFarm holds it down for me is the bread. I have liked the farmhouse one for a while, and tried on a whim...the seeded Italian and BOOM, the first bite brought me back to my days to the North End of Boston. And then there was this pumpkin pie that strolled into town. Unspecting...not particularly adorned, and a little priced like a lambo. I am here to tell you that I hate pumpkin pie. But my curiosity overcame me when my friend swooned over it. And I took a very tepid tiny...not forkfull...but fork-tine full. And then I took a bite. Nice...very nice. Spices ... a rich blend and a slightly sweet but well proportioned crust that was worth the bite alone.

Rebecca M.

Yelp
La Farm Bakery is a nice spot to go for brunch. They have tried to distance the tables and offer outside dining in the parking lot. So that means less parking in the small lot. You order at the register and are given a number and the food is brought to your table. Whoever brought out my food was confused with the number as she went outside twice with the food looking for a different number. The number she was looking for was my friend's number who had already gotten her food. So by the time I did get my food it was luke warm. I'm sure it would have tasted better hot. I'd also check to make sure you get everything you order and pay for when buying pastries and bread. As the employee taking my order and ringing me up wasn't communicating with the other employee getting my items. I also had to ask for a bag when I had a lot of items. So I was disappointed with the customer service. It might just have been an off day.

Jessica R.

Yelp
I grew up in New Orleans and have been saying my family start to post about Mardi Gras and I began to crave king cake. In my search, I came across La Farm Bakery. It was on my bucket list of places to visit since I moved to Raleigh so I was very excited that I was in the area and had time to stop in. They have a wide variety of pastries that looked absolutely delicious along with some sandwich/salad options. I bought a mini king cake and a poulet au formage with chips. The sandwich was good, very generous with the meat and cheese. The chips were homemade and provided a nice compliment to the sandwich. I was able to try their signature white chocolate baguette. It is delightful! It has that comforting taste of homemade bread with little sweet notes here and there as you get the bites of white chocolate. Now, the king cake is not a true king cake (and they note that it is their rendition OF a king cake) but it's a good pastry and has nice presentation. I would for sure be back to try some of their other pastries.

Bao-Y H.

Yelp
Went out of our way to visit La Farm Bakery during our long weekend visit after seeing all the good reviews. It did not disappoint. We ordered: - S'more French macaron - Passion fruit French macaron - White Chocolate Mini Baguette - Pain au chocolat Everything is tasty and the line moved pretty quickly. I am not the biggest fan of French macarons but even still they were yummy! The s'more one was my fave and different from most others I've tried. If I could really only recommend one thing it would the White Chocolate Mini Baguette. Seriously one of the best treats I've ever had. So much so that I remembered seeing one when I arriving at the airport and made sure I went and got some of the mini ones to bring home for my family to try. I've even started to look online to inquiry about shipping! Definitely recommend this place and will be back if we were ever back in the Raleigh area.

Yelp
If I could leave a zero star review, I would. Stopped by yesterday for 1 almond croissant at $4.99 (which was not in the bag & why I'd leave 0 stars) 2 chocolate croissants at $4.49 each 1 plain croissant at $3.99 and 1 scone at $4.29 The employee taking my to-go order clearly did not want to work there (or in general I suspect) and was making subtle huffing/puffing sounds as well as not making any eye contact what so ever. The pretax subtotal should be $22.25 and the tax rate is listed as a catering tax for the sales & use tax rate 7.25% plus the Wake Country Prepared Food and Beverage Tax of 1% for 8.25%. This would be $1.84 (rounded up). I was charged a flat $23 which makes zero mathematical sense even if I remove the almost croissant we didn't receive. Called the bakery three times before a female employee answered and in a tone that betrayed her fake pleasantry told me all managers are "busy". I tried this a few times before giving up. I will backcharge the $4.99 which means Chase will probably just eat it as a courtesy to me so this bakery will continue cheating customers and being rude, just without my patronage.
