La Fine Bouche

Booked this place for my birthday dinner. I couldn't be happier. I treated myself for the long service (6 courses) and we were advancing in the evening the courses were getting better and really exciting and the bar was quite hight to start with. Everything was thought to the detail and some of the flavours really unexpected but well balanced. Highly recommended if you are looking for some high end cuisine with affordable prices.

Everything was really great, from the greeting, the staff, and the very delicious food. Each dish had that special finesse. If any of my friends tell me that they are visiting Bordeaux I will tell them to go here.

Fantastic tasting menu. Great service. Each course was a work of art for all our senses. One of my friends is vegetarian, and her dishes were made with just as much care, i.e. they had interesting tastes and were presented beautifully. The extensive wine list has great options at all price ranges.

Great experience here last night. Staffs were extremelynice and gentle, the food was delicious, we spent a great time there and would love to dine in here next time soon

We couldn’t be happier! This is a true gem with a great culinary experience that will open up all your senses. I agree with previous reviews that this is a Michelin level restaurant. The dishes are exceptional and the service was excellent. We went for a 4 courses menu that included two great extra mise-en-Bouche. We were offered to do some cheese tasting in between courses. This was excellent but charged on top of the set menu. Something worth keeping in mind and that perhaps the waiters should warn customers about. This said it was a perfect experience and highly recommend everyone to try it!

This has been one of our favourite meals during our entire Europe trip! Our meal was faultless - warm setting and service, absolutely delicious food made with quality ingredients - all at a reasonable price. Each and every course was enjoyable and demonstrated skill with practiced technique. I couldn't recommend it more highly

Disappointing Experience at La Fine Bouche – Unacceptable Rudeness My recent visit to La Fine Bouche in Bordeaux was unfortunately ruined by the exceptionally rude staff. While I was excited to try the food, the moment we arrived, we were met with unnecessary hostility. We arrived about five minutes before our reservation, which is something I often do to ensure I'm on time. Instead of a simple "We're not quite ready yet," a female server immediately made a huge, dramatic scene. She reacted by shaking her head and speaking rapidly and forcefully in French with a clearly rude and condescending tone. Even though I don't speak fluent French, the body language and sheer theatrics conveyed her displeasure in a way that was completely unprofessional and unwarranted. She acted as if we had committed a grave offense by arriving slightly early. This initial poor attitude was unfortunately followed by a very slow pace of service throughout the meal.We opted for thr 4 course tasting menu and it took nearly two and a half hours. I cannot recommend a restaurant where the service is this arrogant and unwelcoming. Save your money and time for one of the many other wonderful establishments in Bordeaux that actually appreciate your business. Rating: 1/5 (Solely for the location, as the staff deserves a 0)

It was an excellent evening with a six course meal, including wine pairings that matched the cuisine beautifully. Technically, if you count the amuse bouche and a small plate before dinner followed by small candies after dinner, you might say it was a nine course meal. Plan on allowing plenty of time to enjoy the evening as our dinner lasted over three hours. The food was elegantly plated, and each course was clearly explained to showcase the ingredients and flavors. The price for two for the evening was $355, so be sure you are one who values exploring flavor combinations, wine pairings, and presentation.
