if you’re looking for high quality, local cuisine at a fair price in Bordeaux look no further. this charming little restaurant offers a 4 or 6 course menu, plus a little greeting from the kitchen to start with, a cheese selection and sweets to send you off into the night. the full menu is a great option to savor all the flavors from the sea and the land. surprising taste combinations, without being pretentious or too artistic. the ingredients are all fresh and perfectly prepared, making this menu thoroughly enjoyable. we didn’t go for the wine pairing, but it looked very nice. and definitely save some space for the cheese. the selection is very nice and it makes for a nice link between the main courses and the two desserts. the restaurant is quiet and gives you enough privacy. staff is very well trained, polite and helpful - also explaining certain dishes in english, when i couldn’t understand the french word. do plan enough time (we left after more than three hours).

Booked this place for my birthday dinner. I couldn't be happier. I treated myself for the long service (6 courses) and we were advancing in the evening the courses were getting better and really exciting and the bar was quite hight to start with. Everything was thought to the detail and some of the flavours really unexpected but well balanced. Highly recommended if you are looking for some high end cuisine with affordable prices.

Fantastic tasting menu. Great service. Each course was a work of art for all our senses. One of my friends is vegetarian, and her dishes were made with just as much care, i.e. they had interesting tastes and were presented beautifully. The extensive wine list has great options at all price ranges.

Everything was really great, from the greeting, the staff, and the very delicious food. Each dish had that special finesse. If any of my friends tell me that they are visiting Bordeaux I will tell them to go here.

What an incredible experience. I have been to so many tasting restaurants. No offense to them but I'm usually bored by the time the last little bite on a giant plate or rock comes out. Not here, they were nothing short of incredible! Wonderful, inventive, delicious with the most talented staff. We had the 6 courses with wine pairing. I actually understood the story that the Chef was telling.

Great experience here last night. Staffs were extremelynice and gentle, the food was delicious, we spent a great time there and would love to dine in here next time soon

We couldn’t be happier! This is a true gem with a great culinary experience that will open up all your senses. I agree with previous reviews that this is a Michelin level restaurant. The dishes are exceptional and the service was excellent. We went for a 4 courses menu that included two great extra mise-en-Bouche. We were offered to do some cheese tasting in between courses. This was excellent but charged on top of the set menu. Something worth keeping in mind and that perhaps the waiters should warn customers about. This said it was a perfect experience and highly recommend everyone to try it!
