La Fleur de Sel

On our cruise to the Caribbean we stopped in Le Havre where we decided to go to Honfleur. As weather was not expected to be the best the aim was to have a wonderful French lunch there. And with the decision for La Fleur de Sel we did everything right. Small restaurant with a nice enterior and excellent staff made the lunch superb. Also from the lunch itself every course made with excellent ingredients and taste.

Very disappointing meal. Nice setting in this historic street at the heart of Honfleur and a cozy restaurant. The service was impeccable but the food nowhere near Michelin quality. The flavours were bland and the component ingredients not well matched. The main course of turbot not particularly impressive - how fresh was it? The wine list was astronomically expensive with no reasonably priced house wine or wine by the glass options. No way does this merit inclusion in the Michelin list

Recommended by a local and did not disappoint! Beautiful, calm dining room with attentive and polished but friendly service. Interesting and well executed menu. Excellent value.

New small hotel and restaurant, we didn’t eat but can not recommend the hotel side enough. Very comfortable pleasant well appointed and reasonably priced . We will definitely be back . Thankyou

Wonderful gem. We stayed at their newly decorated 2BR and it was fantastic. Madam Guyon is a very kind host she was very welcoming and ready to serve all the time.

a wonderful experience and a well-executed lunch, tasting sensations from the delicate textures of shellfish, excellent fish. The work of the girls in the team is admirable, everything is clear and on time - bravo! will always want to come back here

We ordered 4 children’s meals. We did not expect fillet of beef, but the meat was extremely tough. In one case he could not eat it. My steak was also poor. Tough and full of gristle. My in laws are beef farmers and we eat out regularly. We commented on the beef and the owner didn’t bother engaging with us and charged us in full. The desserts were very good but overall the meal was disappointing. I would not go back or recommend it.

Amazing atmosphere. Uncrowded comfortable setting. Soft music. Food came at the perfect slow, relaxing pace. Small appetizers that were not part of the order added to the rythm of the meal. The white fish was perfectly cooked. Everything was great. We were in France for two weeks and his was the unanimous choice for best dining experience

What a surprise. This gem is tucked into a quiet street back from the historic harbor. Our first impression was a cozy neighborhood restaurant filled with regulars, not tourists, who knew precisely why they were there. Despite the casual setting, the food was every bit as good as several highly rated restaurants we had recently dined at in Paris. Any attempt on my part to describe the dishes in our chosen tasting menu would not do them justice. All were superb. Smart, but not too precious. This chef understands the proper balance in fine cuisine. Overall, an excellent experience. Bravo.
