"A longtime family favorite, La Fonda Latina serves a mix of Spanish, Mexican, and Cuban dishes, including tacos, burritos, and quesadillas, along with paella and Cuban sandwiches. The cantina offers five locations throughout Atlanta. The group behind La Fonda also own another family favorite: Fellini’s Pizza" - Beth McKibben

"There’s a special place in our heart for spots like La Fonda. No matter if you’re on a date or deciding what to feed your star midfielder after the big game, they always come through. Though there are five locations of the laid-back Mexican-Cuban cantina around town (We miss you, Howell Mill! We see you, East Atlanta!), we generally heed the call to slide over to Ponce on sunny days. We know it has as much to do with our kids enjoying the upstairs patio view as it does them loving the cheese quesadillas more than their tablet. But we understand the sentiment. La Fonda’s arroz con pollo is probably the best in the city." - DeMarco Williams

"The Howell Mill Road location of La Fonda Latina is now permanently closed ahead of its relocation to East Lake later this spring. The Latin food restaurant takes over the former Lake and Oak BBQ space at the corner of 2nd Avenue and Hosea Williams Drive in East Lake." - Beth McKibben

I’ve been here at least 10 times now and I had to make a review because it’s been fantastic EVERY 👏🏾 SINGLE 👏🏾TIME! I order the arroz con pollo and order my boyfriend the ropa vieja! Prices are affordable, drinks are plenty and I never get tired of coming. For drinks we buy the pina colada frozen margaritas! Just do it! The outside is beautiful and the inside is relaxed but still a fun time! And yes, they take Apple Pay.

If you are hungry, this is definitely a place to go because portions are insane big. We had there two Cuban sandwiches, guacamole and the plantains and it was way too much. Just the sandwiches are quite a lot but they are tasty and I liked them. Also the plantains are in my point of view a must order and try, I liked them a lot. Just the salsa and guacamole were a bit plain and lacked deeper flavour and seasoning.

My family and I absolutely love La Fonda. All their locations have straight consistency! Fast service, friendly staff! The food is very delicious and affordable, don’t hesitate to try this place! The ponce location in particular has a very nice outdoor seating. I will forever come here. 1000/1000 :)

This food was simply ok. This is not really authentic Latin food. The flavor wasn’t there. The mango margarita was pretty good. The service was good and we enjoyed the patio. I won’t be back.

Probably the fastest service I’ve experienced. The Mojito was delicious and went well w the chips + salsa they had while waiting for your food. The Cuban sandwich was delicious! The bread was crispy and fresh, while the meat portion of the sandwich became a blanket of goodness bonded by melted cheese. The salmon enchilada was pretty fire as well. Nothing like a delicious enchilada to slap you silly w new taste in your mouth. Food so good it’s hard to enjoy when you’re wolfing it down.

La Fonda may be the best thing on this part of town. Even though the service is stretched thin on Saturday's, the wait is totally worth it. My friend who has family from Cuba even said this reminds him of grandmas cooking. The food here is so delicious, and the portions are to be taken serious. Also very affordable! Definitely recommended!

Delicious food. Had paella for the first time, the taste was really good. The place was lit. Good and quick service. It was very crowded when we visited, so finding a parking spot took time.
