La Grande Boucherie - Review - South Beach - Miami - The Infatuation

"La Grande Boucherie’s lovely patio has the power to make their decent French food more enticing. The restaurant started in New York and expanded to other cities like Chicago with significantly less success. The South Beach iteration makes fine versions of niçoise salads and steak frites, but underneath the patio umbrellas and lush palm trees, dinner becomes a swanky garden party. We can forgive them for the slightly overcooked salmon because we’re too busy photosynthesizing and clinking our big martini glasses. The inside has a slower pulse. Especially if you end up in the massive upstairs dining room next to the giant piano sans piano player. So come during the non-summer months for a spritz, a burger, and an impressive view of a giant art deco building. Otherwise, if great French food is what you want, look here. Food Rundown photo credit: Rachel Bires La Salade Niçoise It’s one of the more refreshing dishes here. The thick slivers of ahi tuna absorb the tangy red wine vinaigrette, and it’s a pleasantly light way to start a meat-filled meal here. photo credit: Rachel Bires Les Escargots They get points for being the biggest escargots we’ve ever had. We just wish the garlic butter and parsley would’ve seeped through these massive suckers a little more. They’re not worth $29. photo credit: Huge Galdones Foie Gras Torchon The foie gras discs are smooth and packed with flavor. But it's a fleeting moment that lasts all of two minutes. photo credit: Huge Galdones Prime Steak Frites It’s topped with a generous slab of herb butter that oozes throughout the entire plate. Each juicy bite produces the same feelings as a runner’s high. Bonus: It’s the cheapest steak on the menu. photo credit: Huge Galdones Wagyu Burger Sitting outside and chowing down this thick, decadent burger is, objectively, a perfect way to spend a Saturday afternoon. photo credit: Rachel Paraoan Saumon Rôti There’s nothing remarkable about the salmon. It’s just fine. Maybe even a little dry. photo credit: Rachel Bires Profiteroles The confectionate sugar on top of the choux pastry repels the chocolate sauce like Scotchgard. And the choux pastry tastes old. Skip this and end with a cup of tea or coffee instead." - Mariana Trabanino

A Taste of France in the Heart of Miami – A Stunning Culinary Experience at La Grande Boucherie From the moment we stepped into La Grande Boucherie Miami, we were transported to an elegant Parisian brasserie, complete with stunning French aesthetics, warm lighting, and a vibrant yet sophisticated ambiance. This restaurant is a true masterpiece, seamlessly blending classic charm with modern refinement. We began our evening with an exquisite selection of drinks—the Phoenix, a beautifully balanced cocktail, St. Martin’s Summer, which was refreshingly light, and the Tulum Mexican beer, crisp and smooth. These set the perfect tone for the culinary journey ahead. To start, we indulged in the three-cheese platter, thoughtfully paired with the three-meat platter, offering a rich combination of flavors and textures. The Salade d’Endives was refreshingly crisp, and the Poulpe de Méditerranée (Mediterranean octopus) was tender and impeccably seasoned, showcasing the chef’s mastery of French cuisine. For our main course, each dish was a standout. The scallops were delicate and perfectly seared, while the fish of the day, branzino, was light yet deeply flavorful. The Wagyu burger, served with crispy fries, was nothing short of decadent—a must-try for any burger connoisseur. Ending on a sweet note, the cheesecake with raspberry sauce was creamy and tangy, the mousse au chocolat was rich and velvety, and the hazelnut and pistachio ice creams were incredibly smooth, capturing the essence of authentic French desserts. Every dish was a work of art, and the service was impeccable—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about the experience they provided. Whether you’re looking for a romantic dinner, a celebration, or simply a night of indulgence, La Grande Boucherie Miami is the perfect destination. We cannot wait to return for another enchanting evening of French culinary excellence. Highly recommended!

My mother and I came here for lunch, and from start to finish, our experience was really great. We had a reservation and arrived a little early, but the staff was accommodating and seated us right away. The entire team was friendly, and our server, Chic, was outstanding--his recommendations were spot on, and he was more than happy to answer all our questions. The restaurant itself is stunning, with a beautiful ambiance that mixes the chic from France with the beach vibe from Miami. We sat on the outdoor patio, which was gorgeous and decorated with plants and flowers, creating a cozy yet elegant Miami vibe. We started with drinks. My mom had the Tulum beer, and I had the La Vie en Rose cocktail (Chopin, Lillet Blanc, Lychee, Cranberry Purée, Brut Sparkling), which was absolutely delicious and refreshing. Along with complimentary bread and butter, we ordered the prime steak tartare (Beef tenderloin, capers, cornichons, shallots, quail egg, crostini ) and foie gras torchon (Onion marmalade, cherry, toasted baguette). Both were well-seasoned, rich in flavor, and perfect for the warm Miami Beach weather. The portions were also generous and great for sharing. For our entrées, I had the prime steak frites(10 oz Prime grass-fed NY strip steak, herb butter, pommes frites), and my mom chose the côtelettes d'agneau (Roasted lamb rack, potato gratin, garlic rapini, tomato/rosemary jus). Both dishes were phenomenal! The meats were cooked to perfection. Tender, juicy, and flavorful. The presentation was beautiful, and the portions were more than satisfying. I especially loved the gratin potatoes from my mom's dish. Even though we were already quite full, we couldn't resist trying dessert. I had the chocolate and framboise tart (Valrhona 62% dark chocolate ganache, raspberry gel, fresh raspberries), while my mom chose the tarte au citron (Vanilla crust, lemon curd, lemon crème légère, fresh lemon segments). Both were excellent, although I was too full to try hers, she loved it. Not overly sweet, beautifully plated, and the perfect way to end our meal. Overall, we had an amazing experience. The food, service, and ambiance were all top-notch. I highly recommend La Grande Boucherie and will definitely be coming back!

La Grande Boucherie has a cool, classic French atmosphere that makes for a memorable first impression — elegant with a touch of old-world charm. The vibe is definitely stylish and Instagram-worthy, but getting to our table felt like navigating a bit of a maze. We were seated in what can best be described as a “bird cage” tucked into a corner — cozy, but clearly part of an effort to squeeze in as many tables as possible. It’s a trend in Miami restaurants lately: beautiful settings compromised by the push for maximum occupancy. Another group seated upstairs wasn’t thrilled with their spot either — they were vocal enough that a manager had to get involved. The place is also candlelit, which adds to the ambiance — until the sun goes down and you realize you need a flashlight to read the menu or see your plate. My eyes aren’t what they used to be, but I know plenty of folks older than me who would’ve really struggled in that setting. On the food side, the highlights were definitely there. The bread was excellent, warm and crusty like it should be. The foie gras and French onion soup hit the mark with rich, traditional flavors. The Caesar salad was underwhelming — not bad, but forgettable. Lamb chops, on the other hand, were a standout: tender, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. We finished with the cheesecake and key lime tart for dessert — both solid choices that rounded out the meal nicely. Overall, La Grande Boucherie delivers on ambiance and some strong French staples, but the seating situation and a couple of average dishes keep it just shy of exceptional

La Grande Boucherie in Miami is an absolute dream! A stunning French-inspired dining experience set in the most beautiful garden — romantic, magical, and the perfect place to escape the buzz of South Beach. The ambiance is elegant yet relaxed, with twinkling lights and lush greenery that make it feel like you’re dining in a Parisian courtyard. The food was exceptional from start to finish. For starters, we had the pâté and the octopus — both perfectly prepared, flavorful, and beautifully presented. For mains, we ordered the scallops and the filet mignon with broccolini and purée. Every bite was pure perfection! The scallops were tender and rich, and the filet mignon was cooked exactly to our liking — juicy and full of flavor. The broccolini was perfectly crisp and the purée smooth and delicious. We ended the evening with an incredible dessert that was as beautiful as it was delicious — the perfect sweet finale to an unforgettable meal. If you’re in Miami Beach, this is truly a must-visit spot for a special dinner or a romantic night out. Can’t wait to return!

Had a lunch-dinner for the 1st time here. Very rich, beautiful place. Onion soup was amazing, must to try. Tartar was ordinary, wouldn’t take again. Octopus and lobster pasta were delicious. Service was slow, waited for main dishes more than 20 min after we finished appetisers. Overall experience was good. Coming back for terrace views.

Gabriel was an exceptional server, very attentive and kind! He recommended a delicious wine, the Bordeaux blend. My favorite was the filet mignon that melted in my mouth! We also ordered the steak tartar, foie gras and confit de canard that was very good but the portion was very small. For dessert we had the profiteroles and those were just ok, the dough could have been lighter… Nice atmosphere.

What is spectacular lunch here a few weeks ago for my girlfriend's birthday. We enjoyed everything that we ate. It was an absolute French feast! They started with espresso martinis. Mine with tequila and hers made it with vodka, my appetizer was their signature escargot and my friend got the French onion soup. For our entrees, I got their LES ST JACQUES RÔTIES which was heavenly. The scallops were delicate and cooked to perfection. All of the accompanying vegetables, absolutely complimented the flavor of the scallops wonderfully. My friend got the lobster linguine which she LOVED. For dessert, we both got the pistachio basque cheesecake with apricot sauce. We took them home. I absolutely devoured it for dessert later in the evening. The service was fantastic. The major D was helpful and our servers were absolutely attentive! They were able to answer every question that we had. We opted to sit outside because it was a lovely day, but the inside was rather gorgeous. Old world charm with art deco vibes as well. It was truly a spectacular meal and I would love to go there again

An absolutely amazing place! Everything exceeded my expectations—the service, the food, and the ambiance. I had the French onion soup, which was not only incredibly delicious but also served at the perfect temperature, allowing me to enjoy it right away without waiting for it to cool down. The Niçoise salad was wonderfully fresh and well-balanced, with lightly seared tuna that brought a delightful taste. And the lobster linguine was equally delightful, with a perfectly balanced flavor. The cocktails were a creative twist on the classics—bold, intriguing, and absolutely delicious. A truly exceptional dining experience!

Yelp
There is one biggest contrast in dining that is most evident in American dining relative to European nations and it has nothing to do with the food itself. That stark difference is, of course, the gorgeous patios found on the coastlines of Greek Islands, the narrow walkable streets of Rome or the intimate cliffs of Italian Riviera. While majority of American restaurants have a patio area facing the roadway or an obscure parking lot, Europeans have this figured out a lot better. Intimate settings, beautiful views, attentive landscaping to separate from distractions and architectural masterpieces around. This is where the new La Grande Boucherie Miami comes in to say bluntly: we can do just as good and maybe, even a notch better. La Grande Boucherie is a relatively new concept, opening in NYC with the first location in 2020. One can only theorize what a year that must have been to open a restaurant. The original location was featured in the Sex and The City reboot and expanded into several other locations in New York. And, as natural progression goes with many restaurants, from Le Jardinier to Joel Roubichon, things start in New York and move right down to Miami. The Miami location is fresh, opening in January 2025 in a truly breathtaking Art Deco masterpiece of a building from 1938 by renowned architect Henry Hohauser. Every table on the patio allows guests not only to be surrounded by dense tropics, fully separated from the road, but also take in this architectural marvel. There is something to be said about enjoying architecture at a slow pace while eating a dinner. Oh, dinner, yes, there is that too. Classics like Duck Confit are executed with a perfect level of attention. Delicate, juicy and flavorful duck here may just be one of the best out there. Chase that down with a great Chatenauf Du Pape and you've got yourself a dreamy evening of tropical vibes and unmistakable Miami architecture infused into a world class French meal. And, skipping desserts would be a foul, so do make sure to get the Basque Cheesecake and do not leave without a Crème Brûlée.

Yelp
The best part if our experiance was the ambiance and the appetizers. The foie gras was amazing! Expensive but amazing. The frnech oniin soup was also a stand out. The service was slow, we went at an off hour so it wasn't crowded and the had a flag down the waiters to get their attention for everything. The mains were a disappointment. I had sea bass and it was a small whole fish, not very good. It was not the chunk of buttery goodness that is normally served as sea bass. The burger was ok, not the tasty waygu we were w expecting. Over $200 later, it was a bit if a let down. Place is beautiful and the outside area is gorgeous.

Yelp
The food was hit or miss unfortunately. Highly recommend Les escargots and the octopus. Steak was cooked to medium well (ordered medium rare) Was not impressed with the steak tartar. The presentation and ambiance were great, but the service subpar. I can't say for the rest of the menu - it's probably worth trying, but in my opinion, for the money it could've been better. Typical for south Florida however - I feel like most of the high end restaurants don't really care about being outstanding, because people are going there to keep appearances.

Yelp
This restaurant is stunning! A triple threat with ambiance, food/drinks, and service. I came here for happy hour which is at the bar only (sad because the outdoor courtyard is so cute!) but still had a nice time. The bartender/server was so friendly and helpful with the menu. L'Apero charcuterie was the perfect appetizer and they also gave a bread basket. The bread was so fresh and delicious I literally ate it plain. Would love to return here for dinner to try some of their steaks and frites!

Yelp
Absolutely outstanding! The ambiance, service, and the food were all amazing during my family's visit. We always sample each other's food and there was not a complaint to be had. You start with some crusty bread with a side of whipped butter and sea salt. You are then served appetizers, which we had the escargot and tartare to share. Both were outstanding and served with some more crusty bread. For entrees we had the filet mignon, duck confit, and the beef bourguignon. The meats were cooked to perfection, with all 3 being fork tender and juicy. The sides paired well with meats and overall the flavors were on point. We finished off with two desserts even though we were already quite full. LOL The cheesecake was to die for while the house creme brûlée was interesting. I did like the flavor as I'm into all things Asian, but I would imagine it's an acquired taste. I'd highly recommend this restaurant for a date night, special event, or just a weeknight meal! Service and food are both 5 stars+++!

Yelp
Great ambiance - bar on the bottom floor is great to grab drinks while you wait for your table. There is a second bar and lounge area upstairs, but we didn't visit that area. Bartender was very helpful and made great recommendations. Our waiter for our table seemed a bit overwhelmed... Food was good, when I ordered the NY Steak, the pepper sauce was supposed to come on the side, however when they brought it to the table - it had spilled on the plate. Didn't send it back, because we were waiting for it already for a bit.... We have visit the location in NYC, the food is better.

Yelp
Le Grande Boucherie totally lived up to the hype. We came to celebrate our anniversary and were wowed! From the moment we were welcomed and sat at our table, everything felt elevated. We got to the restaurant a little early, so we sat at the bar for a few minutes and enjoyed two drinks. The drinks were really great. For dinner, we started with the steak tartare and escargot, both classic, both executed really well. The tartare was super fresh and well-seasoned, and the escargot came in the most indulgent garlic butter. For mains, we had the steak frites and the ribeye. Both were cooked perfectly and full of flavor. The frites were crispy and addictive (honestly, I could've eaten a whole bowl of just those). And then came dessert. We couldn't decide, so we got both the crème brûlée and the Basque cheesecake, and good thing we did. The crème brûlée had that perfect caramelized top and silky custard underneath. The Basque cheesecake was unreal. Creamy, rich, and honestly one of the best I've had. Service was solid and the space itself is beautiful. Shoutout to our waiter Valentin! Le Grande Boucherie is perfect for a date night or something a little more special. Would absolutely come back!!

Yelp
Dinner service was phenomenal! We arrived during sunset, valet parked & sat outside in the romantic courtyard. I love that they don't rush service. My boyfriend & I had a relaxing, inviting dinner. The venue is gorgeous & even prettier at night! Our waiter was well informed about the menu. Staff is attentive and works well together. We started with well balanced cocktails--I overly loved the La Vie En Rose. The bread is served with butter & coarse salt, the perfect touch. My Caesar salad was yummy. The D'Endives salad was unique & packed with flavor, I'm glad we tried something new. For my entree, I had Prime Steak Frites. The steak was cooked perfectly, flavored well & topped with yummy herb butter. My boyfriend's salmon (Saumon Roti) was crisp on the outside, juicy on the inside, and served atop veggies. We eat Jamaican escovitch all the time so it was cool to try the French version. Dessert was amazing! We were full but couldn't stop eating. We had cheesecake & the sauces they pair with them are almost drinkable lol. We'll definitely be back! Our experience was 10/10 from the decadent ambiance, to the amazing service, to the outstanding food quality. The interior is gorgeous & has a 2nd level (reservation required) with its own bars. I love luxe decor, it makes for the perfect date night. The venue is huge & still expanding!

Yelp
What a beautiful french garden getaway! The stunning pink flowers, greenery, and white lights made for such a beautiful evening. Every person from the hostess, to the server, to the manager were extremely happy and friendly. We started with the bread service that came with fresh bread, french butter (if you know you know, best butter in the game) and sea salt. Our amazing server, Ivan, recommended his favorite options on the menu. We started with the french onion soup-- the broth was dark and hearty and there was a copious amount of fresh gooey cheese melted on top. It was a big bowl and filling. For mains we had the filet de boeuf with seasonal veggies. The meat was tender and cooked to perfection and served with a delicious gravy-like sauce. We also had the filet minon, which was pepper crusted, and also covered in a gravy but also peppercorns. The mashed potatoes were the best i ever had--so soft and smooth and buttery. We opted for a side of shoestring fries that came hot. I am not a dessert person, but this dessert was exceptional and ended up being my favorite part of the meal. We had a creme brûlée that was very tasty, but do not miss the profiteroles! They are an absolute must! Their pastry chef makes the croissant/eclair like sweet dough, and there is vanilla ice cream in the middle and topped with warm dark chocolate. So decadent and perfect. I cannot wait to return to try their wagyu burger! Welcome to the 305, we are so happy to have you. Merci!

Yelp
Even better than New York location! I had great food in Manhattan location, but this one in Miami is definitely beyond that. They have a gorgeous yard, tons of different plants, it's really nice to dine in such beautiful garden. We were there on a Thursday night, it's full but service was fast. All waitresses are friendly and super polite. We ordered the food, within 5-10mins they were served. Tuna salad is very fresh, cheese in French onion soup is gooey and creamy:) My husband really enjoyed the filet mignon, super soft. I do prefer the duck leg that I ordered, it's sweet and savory. My favorite part part is the crème brûlée!! lol. I finished the whole bowl of it, yes it's a huge portion. I was tell my husband that I feel it's even better than the one I had in Paris... I could definitely come back here even just for their crème brûlée! Highly recommend to try their duck leg, ( filet mignon as my husband's opinion) , don't leave without ordering their crème brûlée! :)

Yelp
Such a beautiful restaurant inside and out! We made reservations for a Sunday night but were surprised to find out that was not necessary. We were one of a handful of tables those few hours we were there but could make sense since it is still new to the area. For appetizers, we shared two french onion soups, les escargots, and la salade nicoise. We were big fans of the soup but were kind of mixed on the snails. Nicoise was also good but we've had better at a restaurant nearby. Entrees were shared family style. Personally, my favorite dishes were the poulet roti and wagyu burger for their juiciness and umami flavors! The boeuf bourguignon was too salty and could have benefited for more mashed potato to absorb the excess salt, however it was incredibly tender. Saumon roti was also cooked well but not anything immense. Lobster linguine was a little to acidic with the tomato sauce. Not a huge fan of steak, I thought the filet de boeuf was not my favorite. Overall, our waiter was wonderful and truly went out of his way to help us take group photos at the end of the night. The food was good but had aspects they could adjust especially given their extravagant prices. Would like to come again the next time I am back!

Yelp
Great food, great ambiance! The entry way of the restaurant is gorgeous, as is the interior and bar. This is a great date night spot with yummy food and unique cocktails to match. I tried 1cocktail, a mocktail. the walnut salad, and the steak and fries, My steak was perfectly cooked and marbled. The fries were crisp and fresh. The drinks were strong! the mocktail was creative and layered (not just juice like some restaurants offer) and i didn't miss the alcohol. The steak however was the star of my meaI and I would def come here again and make the drive from Broward for that alone. Also, the portions are actually large! There are a lot of touristy restaurants on Miami Beach with crappy food. This not one of them! Highly recommend!

Yelp
Bringing a piece of France to South Beach, La Grand Boucherie impresses from beginning to end. Stunning design both inside and out, you'll find privacy and elegance at every turn. Whether dining in the beautiful garden or inside the art-deco inspired bar, you'll be surrounded by picturesque design. An absolutely stunning restaurant and experience - from beginning to end, our meal and experience was top tier. Highly Recommend: La Vie En Rose Cocktail, Soupe À L'oignon (French onion), Prime Steak, Lobster Linguine, and the Mousse au Chocolat. The staff were incredibly welcoming and had fantastic recommendations. We had reservations for two in the garden. We were quickly seated, given a selection of water to pick from, and provided with an expansive wine and cocktail menu. La Vie En Rose - an absolutely romantic and sweet cocktail, matches the stunning views of the garden by being garnished with dry roses. Highly recommend ordering at least one during your visit! We were also provided with a selection of breads, all delicious and were the perfect holdover until our soup and salads arrived. Soupe À L'oignon was, by far, the best French onion soup I've had since visiting France itself. Honestly, it could have been my entire meal, it was that good and filling. The main course featured lobster linguine (large portion of lobster, delicious creamy sauce) and the prime steak served with a side of fries. For dessert, we split a huge bowl of Mousse au Chocolat. I say "bowl" because it was truly served in a large bowl! Definitely enough to serve 4-5 people, or two girls who are obsessed with chocolate. A fantastic way to end your experience at La Grande Boucherie. As said before, an overall wonderful experience - we loved it so much, that we've decided we must return again soon for brunch! Indoor and outdoor seating available, gorgeous decor and atmosphere. Valet available and paid street parking nearby. Reservation highly recommended, this place is very popular for both brunch and dinner!

Yelp
Lovely new place in Miami Beach. The outdoor seating is very nice, and indoor bar is cozy. Started off with Octopus & escargot for apps - octopus was nice and tender, not chewy and good flavor. Escargot had a good texture and the sauce was not bad. Main course selections were the Boeuf Bourguignon, which was very tender, and the Prime steak frites. The prime steak didn't even need the sauce, as the steak itself was very good. For dessert we ordered the Pistachio cheesecake and Mousse au chocolat. I honestly expected both to be better. Would try something else next time. Finished the night with the PJ Breeze non-alcoholic cocktail, which was nice and sweet but not too sweet. The service was very good, very attentive.

Yelp
I came here on a Tuesday night and it's the perfect date night spot. The outside seating is vibey and really sets the mood for a romantic evening. Service was great, our waiter was super attentive and gave us excellent recommendations. It was my first time trying escargot, and while I was a little hesitant, I was not disappointed. It was cooked perfectly and the sauce was delicious. The wagyu burger was also pretty good. Definitely a place I'd return to for another date night!

Yelp
This place deserves more than 5 stars! My dining experience was absolutely wonderful. You feel like you get thrown right back into the golden age of Paris just that you're in the middle of lush Miami vegetation. We sat outside for an early Sunday dinner. The outside space is gorgeous as well as very serene with lots of palm trees. Our service was amazing! Our waitress Anneli was so sweet and on point. She gave great recommendations and checked on us throughout the night without being too invasive. Everyone from the hostess to the bussers were very nice and sweet with my son. Now to the food: spoiler alert - it was amazing! You must try the French Onion soup! It has the perfect bread cheese crust and is delicious. We also had the fresh endives salad. I can totally see why the Prime Steak Frites is their top seller entree. It was divine! Perfectly cooked with herb butter on top. I also tried the scallops which are a lighter option. I rounded up the meal with the Chocolate Framboise Tart. I definitely want to come back here especially after seeing the gorgeous upstairs area that only opens on the weekends!

Yelp
La Grande Boucherie is the newest hotspot in South Beach Miami. As soon as you step into this gorgeous property, you'll be greeted by the friendly staff and whisked away to your table in a beautiful garden setting. They also have indoor seating but we're in Miami so it's all about al fresco dining. But the real star of the show was the food. Each dish was meticulously prepared and cooked to perfection. There wasn't even one dish that we didn't like here. Even the fresh bread with their housemade butter and salt was delicious. Also, don't skip on the cocktails cause they were simply fabulous. @boucherie_us is open 7 days a week for lunch, dinner, and even brunch. Highly recommend the following: CÔTELETTES D'AGNEAU Roasted lamb rack, potato gratin, garlic rapini, tomato/rosemary jus LES ESCARGOTS Snails, shallots, lemon, parsley, garlic butter PRIME STEAK TARTARE Beef tenderloin, capers, cornichons, shallots, quail egg, crostini LES ST JACQUES RÔTIES Scallops, cauliflower, onion-caper sauce POULPE DE MÉDITERRANÉE Octopus, pepper condiment, confit petite potatoes, lemon vinaigrette MOUSSE AU CHOCOLAT Dark chocolate mousse, white chocolate feuilletine disc, cocoa nibs, served with Valrhona dark chocolate sauce and mixed berries coulis BOUCHERIE CRÈME BRÛLÉE Black sesame crème brûlée, Cantonese caramelized black sesame BOUCHERIE OLD FASHIONED Wild Turkey, Altos Añejo,Lavender, Plum BOUCHERIE MANHATTAN Basil Hayden's, Rémy Martin 1738, Cinzano 1757

Yelp
Dinner at La Grande Boucherie was such a lovely experience. The ambience is beautiful, romantic, cozy, and full of charm. It really sets the tone for a special night out. From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel so welcome. They were attentive without being overbearing and just really made the whole evening feel relaxed and enjoyable. I started with the onion soup, which was rich, cheesy, and comforting in all the right ways. Then I had the steak frites, which was super flavorful and cooked just right, with crispy fries on the side that I couldn't stop eating. For dessert, we shared the profiterole and the cheesecake, and wow.... both were incredible. The profiterole was light and airy with a delicious chocolate sauce, and the cheesecake was creamy and so satisfying. It was one of those meals where everything just hit the spot.

Yelp
A truly delightful dining experience at La Grande Boucherie Miami that will quickly transport you from Miami to Paris without the jet lag. The ambiance is both charming and romantic, beautifully blending a Parisian touch with the elegance of an Art Deco building. The expansive al fresco dining area, surrounded by lush greenery, created a serene atmosphere that shifted us from the fast-paced energy of South Beach to the sophistication and ease of an upscale bistro in Paris. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the hostesses, who were incredibly gracious and complimentary. Our waiter, along with the entire staff, was attentive and professional, ensuring a pleasant dining experience. We ordered a selection of dishes and thoroughly enjoyed our meal: drinks - la vie en rose, sparkling rose, chemin de la pomm (mocktail) appetizers - soupe à l'oignon, poulpe de mediterranee main course - filet mignon au poivre, filet de boeuf dessert - profiteroles, Basque cheesecake with caramel sauce  I absolutely loved the Basque cheesecake! La Grande Boucherie is a must for a date night or your next beautiful Sunday brunch.

Yelp
I had the privilege of dining at La Grande Boucherie's Miami location and it was a delightful experience. From the moment you first walk in the seating and decor transport you to an al fresco elegant French bistro. Once seated, we were greeted by the manager, Paul, who provided excellent service and great recommendations on the menu. We started off with cocktails; La vie en rose which was subtly sweet and an old fashion. Both were prepared nicely. Now onto the food, for starters we had the escargot which was unlike any other I have had and I absolutely loved it. It was not overly greasy nor did any one spice over power its taste. The steak tartare was divine, served with crostinis and a side salad both were great pairings. For main course we opted for the rack of lamb which was served with these delicious potatoes au gratin which were cheesy and crispy and also the filet Mignon au poivre served with mashed potatoes that were silky & smooth. Both dishes are a must order. Lastly, for desserts we had the crème brulee which boasted a light hard sugar topping that gave a nice crunch and the profiteroles served with a delectable chocolate sauce. After we finished dinner, Paul invited us to tour their upstairs lounge which is open on the weekends and their event space which was recently renovated and great for larger groups. All in all it was a great experience and i would highly recommend for your next outing!

Yelp
Magnifique! Miami Beach has been further elevated with the addition of this gem, La grande boucherie. I've seen it endlessly on social media and knew of their national prestige, I'm now certain of it myself after a magical dinner. From the moment you walk in, you're transported to a dreamy destination followed by a culinary experience that will make you feel like a star. The entrance sets you up for your experience, a gorgeous building with one of a kind architecture and attention to detail in every corner. Incredibly picturesque for the influencers of Miami. The red room we were in was by far one of the most beautiful and charming rooms I've ever seen. Michelin quality service- our evening was spent in Elena's care, she was not only personable but also warm and kind as if you have known her forever. Elena was accompanied by Tyler who makes excellent wine suggestions. Their French manager Niko checked on us and engaged like we were VIP guests. They treat you like family here. At this point the food didn't even need to be impressive but each dish had me convinced this restaurant goes beyond Miami standards. The food is divine. French onion soup. Steak tarter. Wagyu burger. Steak frites. A French menu that will satisfy anyone with its depth and versatility. For a sweet finish, their dessert list is unmatched I encourage anyone looking for an exceptional dinner paired with a unique French Parisian atmosphere to see for themselves why this new Miami spot is on everyone's list!

Yelp
TLDR - a gorgeous venue with delicious french food and attentive and warm service. Get the Canard Confit , and the Mousse au Chocolat . You are in for a treat from an ambiance AND culinary perspective at La Grand Boucherie (@boucherie_us). The garden terrace boasts luscious greenery, with delicate spot lighting and overhead string bulbs to create an intimate and warm ambiance . On the weekends for dinner, they open up the second floor dining area where you are seated amongst lush, velvet burgundy upholstery that makes you feel like royalty . The food matched the decor with elegant traditional french dishes. The ever-present butter we love in French cuisine was a hit without being too overpowering. The escargot was a 10/10, while the canard confit (duck) is what I will be coming back for. For dessert, you cannot go wrong with the mousse au chocolat for 2 (more like 4), but my eye is on the basque cheesecake for a future visit . The details and thought put throughout the restaurant's decor is matched by the care and craftsmanship put into each dish. Thank you for a lovely dinner! We will certainly be back- perhaps for brunch this time

Yelp
Lunch at La Grande Boucherie felt like such a beautiful escape! From the moment I walked in, the entire staff made me feel welcome--everyone was friendly and greeted me with genuine warmth. A huge shoutout to our waitress, Sinclaire. She was absolutely the best! Her bubbly, friendly personality and helpful attitude truly made our lunch date extra special and fun. It felt like hanging out at home with friends, but with top-notch service and incredible food. I also noticed how attentive the support staff was--every detail was handled seamlessly. You can tell this place has a lot of regulars; it was so cool to see guests walk in and have their orders almost ready without asking--those VIP touches really stand out. The food was fantastic, with perfectly portioned plates (something I really appreciate--I'm not a fan of excess food). My absolute favorite was the La Vie en Rose cocktail, beautifully garnished with tiny roses. I honestly couldn't get enough of it! We also indulged in a few desserts, which were just as amazing. I've visited their location in New York and was thrilled to see the same high standard here. I'll definitely be back--highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a chic, elevated dining experience!

Yelp
Where do I begin? Wow, what an experience. The place is absolutely beautiful. There is garden seating, indoor seating on the first floor and even a fancy vintage upstairs seating area that is intimate and beautiful. There is also a bar on both levels of the restaurant. The service from the moment you Valet, to the welcoming hostesses, and everyone you come across gives stellar customer service. The real star was my server, Mirjana. She gave great recommendations and was super attentive (along with other people who would check in) frequently. The Manager even stopped by to ask how our experience was. The menu had delicious options for both food, wine and craft cocktails. Our favorites were the French onion soup, literally the best I've ever had and the Gruyère cheese in it was amazing; the steak frites very flavorful and did not need anything, and the milk chocolate caramel tart, so creamy and delicious. It was also our first time trying escargot, and needless to say we're fans now. They had a good garlicky, butter and salt taste. I also had the black sesame crème brûlée, which different but if you are a fan of black sesame like I am, you'll enjoy it! This place was definitely a treat, if you're ever in the area and are wanting to have delicious French cuisine, I would absolutely recommend this place. This restaurant is good for a special occasion, intimate date, or even an all girl's bday dinner or a just a sexy spot to grab drinks after work. We came on a Wednesday evening and it was packed, so I recommend making reservations in advance. Also, shot out to the valet service guy who even offered us 2 seats, while waiting for our vehicle to arrive. The service here from start to finish was out of this world!

Yelp
What an amazing dining experience! Anneli, your service was exceptional, thank you so much. Her warm hospitality and attention to detail made our experience unforgettable. Now let's get to the highlight of the evening... the food. The bread with butter & salt ( complimentary ) was so good. The French Onion Soup was the best i have ever had - highly recommend. The Lamb Chops were cooked to a perfect medium , juicy and delicious but i will have to say the Lobster Linguini was my fav. Highly recommend this beautiful restaurant if you are in the area of Miami Beach or in Miami period.

Yelp
Take a trip to Paris without leaving Miami. Have one of the most delicious high end French cuisine right in the heart of South Beach. From the grandiose entrance, thru the patio, thru the front bar, to the second floor, you will enjoy art on the wall, beautiful chandeliers and red drapes...You'll be mesmerized! To start, we had the SALADE D'ENDIVES (salad), PLATEAU DE FROMAGES (cheese platter) and LES ESCARGOTS (snails). Sounds like a lot but it was the right amount to get us started to the entrees: LES ST JACQUES RÔTIES, softest Scallops ever! With cauliflower. onion-caper sauce. And we also had the CÔTELETTES D'AGNEAU. A perfectly roasted lamb rack, potato gratin, garlic rapini, tomato/rosemary jus. Finger licking good! After sun tanning at the beach, walk or parking or valet but This is THE SPOT to go to in Miami Beach. If you want to try something different than those tourist traps and looking for quality? Then you must try this! Oh and ask for the greatest server Ilija, excellent service, provide us with recommendations, 2 thumbs up!

Yelp
Excellent meal at La Grande Boucherie, as I celebrated a friend's upcoming birthday. Arrived at 7PM on a nice evening and was greeted and seated promptly in the lovely outdoor courtyard garden area. Enjoyed a wide range of food from appetizers, entrees and dessert. Started off with a basket of bread, served with butter and salt. I ordered the Caesar salad while my friend had the French Onion soup. Both were delicious. Next came the entrees with my friend ordering the bone in ribeye and I selecting the steak frites. Both were good, cooked medium rare as ordered, though between the two I favored the ribeye. I enjoyed the meal with an excellent Cabernet. My friend does not drink alcohol and opted for a Coke. The star of the show might have been the Chocolate mousse dessert, which was an excellent way to cap off a wonderful dining experience. Following dinner we toured the inside of the restaurant, which was closed on this weeknight for dining, and enjoyed viewing the meat display as well as tastefully decorated second floor with plush seating, stained glass lamps, some huge chairs fit for a King, and artwork. The restaurant is also working on a third floor which was still under construction. There were a couple of bar areas for those wanting a drink and/or light fare. Between the food and ambiance, I would highly recommend and definitely return to La Grande Boucherie.

Yelp
Dining in during a weekday is 100/10 recommended. For starters, we arrived for an early dinner, and had the opportunity to sit outside and really enjoy the Miami Beach calmness and weather. The guests dining around us had to be locals to the restaurant as I overheard a few guests make comments about the excellent service, food, and overall vibe - making our first time experience really one to look forward too. We started off with a Malbec and Old Fashion, which I would say is the best Old Fashion I've tasted, with its unique hints of lavender and plum. The octopus was extremely tender and juicy, the scallop, cooked to absolute perfection! The Cesar salad wasn't an ordinary Cesar salad, the lettuce was fresh, but what made it stand apart was the subtle hints of lime in every taste. As for the steak frites, I typically ask for it to be well done, and this is the first time a well done steak was well seasoned, cooked to my liking, and was very juicy and easy to eat. The entire staff was so incredibly kind, including the hostess and two managers who checked in on our table, and a few tables around us. There are very, very few places I feel strongly recommending as my favorites, and Le Grande Boucherie made the top 2 of my list.

Yelp
Forget everything you thought you knew about fine dining in Miami; La Grande Boucherie has taken the playbook and tossed it out the window to offer a totally unique dining experience that makes you feel like you're worth a million bucks and transported right to France! I had the privilege of trying a number of dishes at La Grande Boucherie, and I'm already counting down the days to literally anyone's birthday so I can have an excuse to go back. The venue is gorgeous, with limestone flooring throughout the outdoor seating area and a beautiful smattering of bougainvilleas and other local plants. I enjoyed taking in the scenery while I sipped a La Vie En Rose, a lovely cocktail made with lychee, cranberry puree, and a dry sparkling wine that gave the drink a nice fresh taste without being too sweet. For hors d'oeuvres I tried the Prime Steak Tartare, Les Escargots, and Poulpe de Méditerranée. All of these were absolutely INCREDIBLE dishes: the Steak Tartare was flavorful and fresh, with the soft meat pairing perfectly with the crostini to create a perfect bite every time; the Escargot was an explosion of flavor, so good that my sister and I had to ask for more table bread just so we could sop up all of that delicious garlic butter sauce; the star of the starters, however, was the Poulpe de Méditerranée, a dish with the most tender octopus I've ever tried in my life, so much so that I was cutting it with a fork! For entrees, my sister and I split the Prime Steak Frites and the Les St Jacques Rôties. The steak was a perfect medium temperature, served with a rich and creamy béarnaise sauce that complemented the richness of the meat and blended nicely with the garlic butter melted on top (and was great to dip the crispy fries in). The scallops were literal flavor BOMBS, exploding with succulent sweetness and lavishly soaking up that delicious onion-caper sauce, paired nicely with the cauliflower to create a dish worth writing home about. If you can believe it, we had room for dessert (barely!). We tried the Chocolate/Framboises Tart, a perfectly semi-sweet, chocolatey and fruity ending to such a rich and decadent meal. As incredible as all the food was (and it was truly incredible), the meal was elevated to a 100/10 by the service. Everyone from the hostess to the servers delivering dishes and refilling waters were so kind, welcoming, and professional, and my sister and I felt so special being catered to in such a comprehensive way. A special shoutout is in order for our server Ilija, who was so friendly and has an encyclopedic knowledge of the menu, which he used to make excellent recommendations for us. I'm requesting to be in his section the next time I have the pleasure of dining here. Au revoir, La Grande Boucherie!

Yelp
La Grande Boucherie, setting the stage for french restaurants in Miami that several others can learn from. I had the pleasure of enjoying this beautiful restaurant on a Sunday night as a dinner date and despite rainy weather, the outdoor patio was absolutely gorgeous. Inside, there are 2 floors and the second is decorated gorgeous, red, velvet, & super romantic. Our server was very friendly and gave excellent recommendations. I started off with la vie en rose as he recommended and it was lovely, great cocktail to begin an excellent meal. For appetizers, we ordered the poulpe de mediterranee (octopus) les escargots. The octopus was a generous portion served alongside potatoes and mixed greens. Octopus was cooked perfectly, very tender & flavorful and had me not wanting to share. Escargot was equally as good, nice and buttery. For the entrees, I had the Les St Jacques Roties (Scallops) & my boyfriend ordered the Entrecote Grilleeles (Ribeye). The scallops were delicious & came recommended by my server, seared to perfection and accompanied by well seasoned cauliflower in an onion caper sauce. I would order this again. My boyfriend enjoyed the rib eye steak which he said was cooked to perfection. I will add that all the food came out with good timing, not too rushed & not too slow. To end our dinner, we shared the Mousse au Chocolat - please leave room for this. Absolutely decadent, flavorful, & a good portion size to share with a few people. Overall, excellent refreshing experience to visit a restaurant in Miami where the service, food, & ambiance are all top notch, well done!

Yelp
I just had an amazing evening at here! My partner and I sat outside, and the setting was absolutely beautiful - the greenery and flowers created such a great atmosphere. Our waitress, Elena, was fantastic and had the best recommendations. We started with an Old Fashioned and a La Vie en Rose cocktail; the Old Fashioned was hands down one of the best I've had - not too sweet, just perfectly balanced. For appetizers, we had the oysters and foie gras. I've never seen such a generous portion of foie gras before - definitely a dream, though a lot to start with! My partner ordered the entrecôte grille, and I had the filet au poivre. Based on what we ordered, the ribeye (med rare) was a little overcooked, but my filet was absolutely perfect (rare). We also shared a bottle of wine, which was delicious, and ended the night with a lemon tart and black sesame crème brûlée - both unique and so good. Huge thanks to the staff for making it such a fantastic night!

Yelp
I recently had the pleasure of being invited to dine at La Grande Boucherie for my first official food critic experience, and let me say--what a way to start! The restaurant resides in an historic building in the South of Fifth neighborhood, and the ambiance alone is exquisite. We were seated in their enchanting garden area, framed by twinkling lights and lush greenery. Our waiter, Valentin--who, yes, actually hails from France--was as charming as he was knowledgeable, setting the tone for what would be an authentically French culinary journey. Now, let's talk food. We began with a trio of classic French starters: the escargots, huîtres (oysters), and steak tartare. The escargots were rich and garlicky, bathing in a decadent parsley butter that practically demanded bread for dipping (which, thankfully, they provided). The oysters were briny and fresh and served with one of the best garnishing sauces I've ever tasted. But it was the steak tartare that truly impressed--hand-cut, expertly seasoned, and topped with a silky quail egg yolk that brought the whole dish together. A textbook example of French technique, done right. I don't even normally like steak tartare but I enjoyed this one. For mains, I ordered the côtelettes d'agneau (lamb chops), and my friend had the steak frites. The lamb chops arrived perfectly medium-rare, with a gorgeously caramelized crust and meat so tender it practically fell off the bone. They were juicy, succulent, and plated with elegance. My friend's steak frites were just as strong: a juicy, flavorful cut paired with golden, crisp fries that had the audacity to be both light and indulgent. We finished the meal with a cheese course, which was thoughtfully curated and beautifully presented--a proper nod to French tradition. A perfect digestif to a stellar meal. Now, I wouldn't be doing my job if I didn't speak plainly about the Basque cheesecake, which was the one misstep of the evening. As someone who has lived in Spain, visited the Basque Country, and tasted more Basque cheesecakes than most people have had birthdays, I can say with confidence: this was not it. What arrived at the table was a very good New York-style cheesecake dressed up with raspberry compote and misidentified as Basque. It lacked the creamy custard center and caramelized crown that define a proper tarta de queso vasca. In a restaurant so committed to French authenticity, this felt like an unnecessary detour--and one that doesn't quite land. My recommendation? Let the French cuisine speak for itself and remove that item off the menu. Despite that small miss, the evening was overwhelmingly exceptional. La Grande Boucherie is more than just a beautiful space--it's a love letter to French culinary heritage, translated gracefully into the language of Miami. From the service to the setting to the strong execution of the classics, it's a restaurant that both locals and visitors should experience. Merci beaucoup for the invite!

Yelp
This hidden gem felt like an escape from the city--its lush patio, surrounded by flowers and trees, created a serene ambiance. The Steak Frites and mashed potatoes were absolutely divine--so flavorful I wanted to uncover their secret ingredients! Service was just as exceptional. The manager and staff ensured a top-tier experience, and special shoutout to Gerardo's menu knowledge was impressive. Exquisite dining at its finest--I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
We came to check this new Parisian style restaurant, a staple to the New York franchise, for a date night, this place did not disappoint, we were greet once we arrive and sat right away. the waitress was helpful in the selection of drinks. We decided to go with a Cabernet. We were given the menu and started with the appetizers I had the prime steak tartare and the hubby had the les escargots both were delicious. Now to the main course each of us had the Prime Steak frites a 10oz gras fed ny steak with pommes frites which are technically fries, the steak was definitely a 10/10 very tender, juicy, it definitely exceeded our taste buds. For dessert we had the pistachio cheesecake with a apricot sauce, now for this one thing i would just change just a tad bit is the sauce, I would definitely change this for a caramel sauce this would take it to another level. . After dinner we walked around the restaurant and the feels were very European. The upstairs where the piano is looks like a speakeasy. On weekends there is a brunch with live music. Definitely recommend coming for a date, anniversary. Overall service and food were great.

Yelp
My fiance and I came on a date here and it was amazing. Everything from the ambiance to the service to the food. We ordered the escargot and the prime steak tartar for appetizers. The escargot were top notch! Best we ever had! The tartar was not the best I ever had, but still delicious. For our entree, I ordered the filet mignon with peppercorn sauce, which was cooked to perfection! And the sauce was the best peppercorn sauce ever! My fiance or the steak and fries, which we werent a huge fan off because the meat had lots of nerves that made it chewy. But the winner of the night is for sure the desserts! The lemon pie was like magic in my mouth. It melted away like butter. We also got the basque cheesecake, which OMG- best cheesecake ever. We got it with the chocolate sauce, but honestly, that cake does not need any sauce. It is perfect just as is. To drink we had a thick bodied wine (bordeaux) and pinot noir that was recommended by the waiter and they were perfect for our meals! My fiance also got an old fashioned, which he said was the smoothest he's ever had. I highly recommend this place, especially for a date! At night it gets pretty dark, but that's what makes it so romantic. Like a candlelight dinner. Oh and shout out to all the amazing waiters, especially Gerardo (hope I got his name right!). Such tentative service. Very happy I came. This restaurant has a lot of money signs, but it is for a reason. The service and quality of the food is truly exceptional.

Yelp
An impromptu family dining-out night landed us at this beautiful restaurant, which seemed more like an affluent French-style home amidst the other restaurants in the area. Restaurant/Ambiance: The restaurant seems to be divided into three areas: The garden, the French-like bistro that showcases a beautiful full-liquor bar [inside] and a second floor, that has more like a "Moulin Rouge" feel to it. As part of the charm, it, also, boasts a meats Dry-Ager where they display the optional cuts/types of meats. At the time we went [ a Wednesday night], the only seating option available was the garden area. Albeit, pretty [tons of foliage] but we're still in Florida and it doesn't matter how pleasant the weather is, bugs will, always, include themselves into your dining experience. Overall, the restaurant truly is beautiful and it sets itself for a romantic night out - to a celebratory occasion - to just a fancy family outing. Service: It seemed like the restaurant was a bit understaffed; albeit, it was a weeknight but it didn't seem to be full to capacity. There was an unhurried, lax, feel between food courses and drink orders. But - given that this is a French restaurant, this may be part of their signature style - an unhurried charm vs. their faster-paced American counterparts. Servers: Kudos, and more kudos, to our charming server Elena. She was truly a delight and treated us with such an accommodating and professional manner. Her food recommendations were truly on point and none disappointed. Also, Ana, who was helping Elena, was a delight to deal with and a true professional, as well. These two ladies made the outing even more memorable for us. Food Ordered: *Poulpe de Méditerranée [$28] -- It was one of the best octopus dishes I have ever eaten. I normally don't order octopus because it has the tendency to be rubbery/chewy but this one was tender, perfectly cooked and flavorful to the last bite. The buttery coffin petite potatoes and the lemon vinaigrette just added to this amazing dish. Truly worth ordering! *Salade César [$19] -- Very well prepared, creamy, and enough, what seemed like homemade croutons, in every bite. *Soupe À L'oignon [$18] -- This was truly a traditional French onion soup that will not disappoint anyone that is a lover of this soup concoction. *Prime Steak Frites [$54] -- This 10oz. grass-fed NY strip was perfectly cooked to specifications. It was tender, and the herb butter melted into the steak adding to its savory taste. The golden pomme frites were also a hit. *Filet Mignon Au Poivre [$63] -- This pepper crusted filet was melt in your palate delicious. The comfort-food pairing of the mash potatoes only added to its rich flavor, and it was all brought together with the rich peppercorn cream sauce. *Entrecôte Grillée [$74] -- This 12oz grass-fed ribeye will not disappoint any meat connoisseur. It's robust in flavor and the seasonal vegetables just added to the delicate richness of the dish. *Profiteroles [$17] -- This is a must-have dessert! Airy in the center, filled with a creamy vanilla ice cream and topped to perfection with decadent dark chocolate. *À Partager Mousse Au Chocolat [$25] -- For chocolate lovers, this is one to try! The mixture/balance of the chocolates and the mixed berries made this, also, a perfect ending to a wonderful meal. Overall, a delicious dining experience that is worth trying and a very nice addition to Miami's finest restaurants!

Yelp
This place opened just 6 months ago and has been completely renovated. They have a fantastic outdoor seating aka the garden which is nice if you don't mind some bugs. Service is really good, our food came out very quickly. From drinks that I tried I definitely prefer the barrel aged negroni, maybe a bit steep on price but super smooth, one of the best negronis I had in a while. Food wise, I would order the tartare again, I just didn't like the composition, the toastie were really small and over toasted. But escargots made up for it, would definitely get that again. For entree I had the rib eye which was cooked very well, exactly medium rare. Desert I decided to try the black sesame brulee and it turned out to be way too sweet for my liking. Afterwards we took a quick look inside, they have a really nice second floor dining area which we hope to explore next time.

Yelp
I came to this fab place and a few weeks back and just now getting to share what a great addition to the South Beach area La Grande Boucherie is. It is absolutely beautiful! The entrance of the restaurant is a gorgeous garden area where you can dine and although we were inside I cannot wait to come back and be outside. When you walk into the covered area there is a lovely bar and dining tables towards the back. The second floor is a more upscale, opulent dining room and small bar. You just feel fancy being here. The service was top-notch! Ask for Valentine as your server, he is so friendly and attentive. We also had 2 or 3 of the management staff come by and ask we were enjoying ourselves, which was quite nice. All the food was exquisite, but be sure to have the filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection and the mashed potatoes are some of the best I have ever had. The lobster linguine was perfect! Nice amount of lobster and the sauce was the perfect amount of tomato. For the dessert we had the profiteroles and they were probably the best I have ever had! Not to be forgotten is the endive salad and delicious french fries! Make sure to visit and I promise you will be wowed!

Yelp
La Grande Boucherie has entered the scene in South Beach. As soon as enter, you notice the 1920s-inspired decor that feels like stepping into another era. The place is stunning, with red velvet, gold accents, and cozy dim lighting setting the perfect mood for a night out. We went on a busy Thursday night, and the energy was great. We kicked things off with a dirty martini (honestly one of the better ones I've had) and a refreshing gin grapefruit cocktail, along with a three-cheese board and beef tartare. Both were delicious and the perfect way to start the meal. For the main course, we shared the steak frites and a Caesar salad. The steak was cooked to perfection, and the crispy fries made the ideal complement. The Caesar salad was fresh and tasty, too. For dessert, we tried the Boucherie crème brûlée, which had a black sesame twist. It was interesting, but not something I'd order again. Overall, the meal was fantastic, and the service was friendly. Excited to see how this NYC favorite does in Miami!

Yelp
The Experience. This place is for those looking for an experience in taste. You would have to have gone through a variety of tastes to know what I'm talking about. The salad was perfect. The salad, yes. What was perfect was the dressing and how it dressed the salad to taste savory, not overwhelming and not too little. The NY steak was cooked perfectly. I wish I could go back and order a different temperature for the steak, since here they know how to cook a steak. At other places you have err on the side of caution. Last but not least the crème brûlée was one of the smoothest crème brûlée's I've ever tasted. The service by Romi was great. The only constructive criticism is for the intro bread to be softer to the bite and not so crunchy/hard. The rest of "the experience" was great. The place lends itself for you to have a great time whether sitting inside or outside.

Yelp
From the moment we arrived for our reservation, we were warmly welcomed by the hostess and staff, who promptly guided us to our table on the second floor. The decor is nothing short of breathtaking--it transports you to an opulent, bygone era, setting the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. Our server, Paul, greeted us with a smile and immediately set the tone for exceptional service. We started with drinks--an Old Fashioned for my boyfriend and the PJ Breeze, a mocktail, for me. My boyfriend, a self-proclaimed bourbon connoisseur, was thoroughly impressed with his cocktail, and my PJ Breeze was delightfully refreshing. For appetizers, we opted for the steak tartare and escargot. The escargot, bathed in a rich garlic butter with shallots, lemon, and parsley, was divine--made even better by the fact that we didn't have to wrestle them out of their shells. The steak tartare was equally impressive, featuring capers, cornichons, shallots, and a delicate quail egg on top, served with crispy crostini and a fresh side salad. A generous portion, perfect for sharing. For our entrées, we initially ordered the roasted rack of lamb and the entrecôte grillé, but unfortunately, they had run out of the latter. Paul suggested the prime steak frites instead, and it turned out to be a fantastic recommendation. Both the steak and lamb were cooked to absolute perfection--something that, in our experience, can be hit or miss at Miami restaurants. The steak frites came with a side of perfectly crispy, golden fries, while the rack of lamb was tender and flavorful. The only slight critique? The rapini could have used a touch more seasoning. A must-order side: the potato gratin. It came with my boyfriend's dish, and we were blown away by how incredibly rich and flavorful it was. We're still thinking about it days later! To end on a sweet note, we asked Paul for dessert recommendations and settled on the Basque cheesecake and the profiteroles. While my boyfriend adored the cheesecake, the profiteroles completely stole the show. Both desserts were served with a luscious side of chocolate sauce, which took each bite to the next level. Overall, this place is a gem. The ambiance, service, and food are all top-tier, making for an incredible dining experience. We loved it so much that we've already booked a reservation to celebrate my boyfriend and his mom's birthday next weekend! If you're considering dining here, do yourself a favor and go--you won't be disappointed. Highly recommend!

Yelp
What a beautiful courtyard. The outside dining has white tablecloth's and French music to set the mood. Sofia, the hostess, was attentive and asked for feedback several times. After discussing the options r my server, Loick, I ordered the fixed price lunch menu (note: be prepared it can differ slightly from the online version) and selected a white wine from Alsace. The Caesar salad arrived promptly with a seeded baguette and butter and corse salt. The bread has a nice chew. The salad was crisp but slightly heavy on the dressing; the croutons were nicely garlicky and there were two anchovy fillets discretely tucked on the side. My steak arrived with the caution that the plate was hot - it was smoking hot. The meat was cooked according to my request. This is typically a tougher cut of meat and flavorful, but this was rather sinewy. The accompanying sauce was only warm but the tarragon flavor came through well. The potatoes (and celery root?) were creamy and flavorful. Always appreciate a good steak knife. The steak was accompanied by a salad which was not reflected in the menu; wish I had known when making my course sections. The salad was composed with mixed greens (some of which were not the freshest) and while nicely tart, again too heavy on the dressing. After consulting with the waiter about dessert options (ice cream or madeleines - which he recommended), I decided to take his advice. What an interesting presentation. A generous portion with three varieties of cakes: pistachio, orange, and traditional; all slightly warm. I couldn't finish it. One of each at the end of à three course meal would be more than enough. Sofia indicated that she would have typically removed my salad from the bill, but since I ordered the fixed price menu, she couldn't separate it. So she comped my glass of wine - smart solution. She explained they had only opened two weeks ago and were still fine tuning operations. Very gracious. I liked this restaurant (not just because of my bias for French food). Once the kinks are worked out, this place will take off.

Yelp
La Grande Boucherie was one of the most anticipated NYC-to-Miami restaurant openings of 2025. Known for their classic French fare, extensive list of absinthe-based cocktails, and beautiful decor, they have no problem blending into the South of Fifth neighborhood and its ultra competitive dining scene. My wife and I normally don't go out on Valentine's Day, so being able to snag a reservation the day before to try out the restaurant seemed like a great opportunity to do so! From the moment you step inside the courtyard entrance and into the bar area, it's clear that no expense was spared. The grand archways, romantic lighting, and Art-inspired design give the space a Parisian elegance that feels right at home in Miami Beach. Whether you're seated indoors beneath the dim lighting or outdoors on the lush, greenery-lined terrace, the ambiance strikes a perfect balance between sophistication and relaxed charm. Here is what we ordered: Cocktails: - Fraise Crémeuse ($18) - Boucherie Old Fashioned ($20) - PJ Breeze mocktail ($14) Appetizers: - Les Escargots ($22) - Prime Steak Tartare ($24) Entrées: - Filet Mignon Au Poivre ($63, Filet Mignon) - Cuisse De Canard Confit ($42, Duck Leg) Desserts: - Mousse au Chocolat ($25) - Crème Brûlée ($14) Every dish delivered the quality and flavor you would expect from a high-end French restaurant. The Escargots were covered with garlic and lightly buttered, while the Prime Steak Tartare, served with an egg on top, was delicious and rich. Both appetizers were a good portion to be shared. For the main courses, the Filet Mignon was cooked to a tender medium perfection and bursting with flavor due to the peppercorn cream sauce, and the Duck was a hearty, well-executed dish where the tender duck confit was complemented beautifully by the seasonal vegetables, smooth parsnip purée, and a sumptuous Comté-infused jus. The cocktails were a standout as well. The Fraise Crémeuse was an absinthe-based cocktail that offered a refreshing and not overpowering blend of strawberry and cream, while the Boucherie Old Fashioned boasted a bold, spirit-forward complexity that any whiskey lover would appreciate. The altos añejo and plum infusion make this Old Fashioned on the sweeter side of the spectrum and unique. The desserts were also delightful! The Mousse au Chocolat was extremely decadent and enough to split between 2-3 people, and the Crème Brûlée was very creamy and perfectly caramelized on top. We finished the Crème Brûlée but had to take about half the Chocolate Mousse home to save for the day after. A special mention must go to Anneli, whose exceptional service made the evening even more memorable. She took her time walking us through the menu, was patient as we made our choices, and offered insightful suggestions that truly enhanced our dining experience. While there was a bit of a wait to be seated (30 minutes for us), a growing pain of such a popular new spot, and a need for extra fans in the outdoor area during the summer heat, these are just some small observations I made for improvement during what was an overall fantastic experience. La Grande Boucherie is a welcome addition to South of Fifth, bringing a touch of Paris to Miami Beach's vibrant dining scene. The food can be best described as solid with an excellent vibe. With French food, there is no need to re-invent the wheel. We're already looking forward to our next visit and exploring more of what the menu has to offer, especially their daily Happy Hour selections!

Yelp
We didn't eat here but our experience was very lovely with the bartender. She had such a beautiful personality. We had just had dinner and stopped by a drink. We got the absinthe and she was just chatting with us and told us a lot about the restaurant. I will definitely go back and have dinner here. It is off season so it wasn't busy but I'm sure this place has a great ambience.

Yelp
My husband and I had the chance to dine at La Grande Boucherie for a pre-valentine dinner and I have to say I'm in love. The outdoor seating is chic and laidback BUT request upstairs indoor seating and wow you are met with dark, moody and sexy vibes. we had foie gras and octopus for appetizer( the foie gras and onion marmalade on toast was out of this world!) and steak for dinner. I have to say the quality of the steak was amazing. Overall the steak was tender and delicious. For desert we shared the sorbet. The wine list was extensive and the cocktails looked amazing but I saw a dirty martini on another Yelpers review and Im so happy I ordered it. Wow I have to say my favorite dirty martini in Miami. Absolutely blown away by the attentive service. I noticed managers walking around making sure everyone is taken care of. I can't wait to come back for another date night!

Yelp
Living in Miami and especially in Miami Beach, it is very hard to find a nice place to eat with good food and exceptional service. Well finally I have found one. My cousin and I decided to treat ourselves as a little Valentine's celebration and chose this place because it's beautiful and had good reviews. Our server Chik was so sweet and attentive that I will be sure to ask for him next time I go. Food was sooo good and they have an extensive drink menu that includes non-alcoholic options, which is super important for me since I don't like to drink much but like to have a cute NA "cocktail" on hand. Highly recommend for special occasions or for brunch with the girls.
