La Grillade Gourmande

During our recent visit, we had the pleasure of dining at this exceptional restaurant for both lunch and dinner on the same day. Each meal was a delightful experience, with the cuisine surpassing our expectations and ranking among the best we’ve had in years. The chef’s personal touch, visiting tables to ensure satisfaction, added a special charm to our dining experience. By the end of the evening, the staff felt like friends and family, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. We eagerly anticipate our next visit and will wholeheartedly recommend this establishment to friends traveling to the area.

Suggest to book online if you would like to dine here. Service was good as we got into the shop. Ordered their €42 menu. We really enjoyed the broccoli soup!! Got the foie gras for and additional €5. Both the entrees were good especially the scallops. Fish was very good but the chicken fell abit short and on the dry side. Quite a long wait for the dessert ( about 25-30mins, understandable as the shop is full ), quite disappointed with thejr moelleux au chocolat after a long wait as it was not hot and the ice cream was not to my liking. Pineapple gratin was on the sourish side as well. As the shop was full, it was on the noisier side.

Does what it says on the tin to a high standard. Husband and wife who care about doing things well. Thoroughly professional simple good food, good cooking, with the emphasis on traditional grilled meats. Pleasant dining rooms, inside and out. Friendly professional service. Bustling atmosphere, no musak 🙏. Need to book well in advance, especially weekends - and unfortunately it’s a telephone call or email, no online reservations.

Highly recommend. Accommodated a table of 10 ppl with a reservation. Food was immaculate, perfectly cooked and beautifully presented. Chef was hands-on all night; greeting his diners and bidding them farewell. We left with a memorable experience of warm French hospitality.

We were here last weekend and absolutely loved it! Had escargots for the first time and they were excellent. We came with our daughter of 10 months old and the staff was so lovely to her too. If we go to Epernay we definitely come back here.

Delicious food, wonderful service, great atmosphere ( we had a perfect summer day and were seated outside). You should make reservations ahead of time. If you’re looking for a perfect French cuisine, this is the perfect place.

Wonderful evening, met the chef in the Irish pub across the road just before service then served magnificent food and good value.

What a fun evening - glad we booked as it was full. Lovely food, lovely team and the menus were excellent and good value too. The wine list was fun and we loved how they used the bottle labels as the listings! Would highly recommend (and don't forget to book!).
