Yelp
The cutest, detail oriented coffee shop I've been to in a while. The detail is embedded through the shops overarching yellow theme, from their sleeves, lids, yellow lettering, to even their yellow truck parked outside. As a unique color of choice, the shop stands out, making it a desired coffee destination in Dallas, I'd have to say that's what drew me in at least.
Upon walking in, the yellow scheme adds to the positive, happy, sweet vibe this coffee shop provides. If you are into dark and mysterious coffee shops, this would not be for you.
Seating is open concept, benches/tables and lots of natural lighting. Not great for when it's crowded, but I think best for catching up with your people, not necessarily for getting work done.
Apart from the environment, the next thing I noticed was the higher quality choice of cups, plastic wear, jars they use to house and serve their products. In some ways, the cup your beverage is served in just makes it seem worth the price you paid, which isn't cheap.
The product itself was excellent I ordered a matcha one time and an americano the next time. In my opinion, matcha was better than the americano. The matcha had a good earthy flavor and not sweetened additionally unless requested, which I prefer. I got what I asked and paid for, with average service I'd say.
With that being said, not necessarily a coffee shop for those who like unsweetened things, their speciality is their flavors specifically in their matcha and latte beverages. Hence, if you are a black coffee, plain matcha, straight espresso to an americano drinker, this coffee shop isn't really for you in my opinion. The americano was a bit bland to be honest.
Regardless, would recommend visiting. Will be giving it a 4 because like I said the yellow sweet vibes are amazing, and if you like sweet coffee or matcha then this place would definitely hit that 4 rating, but if not into happy, sweet drinks then, you're screwed. Still think it deserves a 4 because of the quality I received at the shop and it does have good pastry's and breads. (Ordered a croissant it was good, not airy, well layered, had a crisp outer layer, but not crispy enough to crumble which I prefer, however, that may not be considered a traditional croissant, I still enjoyed it.)
Check it out for sure!
