The 34 Best Coffee Shops For Getting Work Done In Los Angeles - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Yes, we're rolling our eyes at the name and technicolor beverages. But La La Land Kind Café in Santa Monica is the chic, minimalist escape you need whenever your pass at NeueHouse expires. There's a pleasing, all-white aesthetic (think high ceilings and minimalist décor) that is so sparse you're coaxed into a sort of zen-like trance. Plus, there are plenty of places to sit: at the bar, on the sprawling wooden patio, or in your car while pretending to be at home for a Zoom call." - brant cox, sylvio martins, cathy park

La La Land Kind Cafe - Review - Santa Monica - Los Angeles - The Infatuation

"Yes, we’re rolling our eyes at the name and technicolor beverages. But La La Land Kind Café on Montana in Santa Monica is the chic, minimalist escape you need whenever your pass at NeueHouse runs out. There’s a pleasing, all-white aesthetic (think high ceilings and minimalist décor) that is so sparse, you’re coaxed into a sort of zen-like trance. Suddenly, the words just flow out of you. Spreadsheets fill themselves. And your boss is randomly giving you a thumbs up over the internal messaging system? Life is good here. Plus, there’s plenty of places to sit: at the bar, on the sprawling wooden patio, on indoors and outdoor couches, in your car while you pretend to be at home for a Zoom call, etc." - Kat Hong

WHAT A CUTE PLACE?! I did not know the hype of this store until I travel to la and saw the line of people at every la la land I saw. I chose the matcha latte squared (I wish it were less sweet) and the lavender matcha cloud and cacoa chia pudding banana( so good) The place has plenty of places to sit and enjoy the road. I love this vibe

Coffee: Do you love me? Me: O heaven, O earth, bear witness to this sound, and crown what I profess with kind. Without further ado let’s begin this kind coffee review. :D La La Land Kind Coffee is a popular corner coffee shop on Montana ave in Santa Monica. It’s known for their exquisite bright white and yellow signature, ostentatious decor and delightful coffee. This shop is a Dallas-based coffee shop. I came on clear, cool early Summer’s day with my mind focused on one thing - new coffee adventure. And it lead me to La La Land Kind Coffee. It was very early Sunday morning, hence, there was scant of humans hovering the store. I was perfunctorily greeted by a young male white staff at the counter. I perused their impressive coffee and food menu. And decided to grab a hot Latte. Minutes later, my latte was ready and took a sip. It was bloody good! Every axons and dendrites were stimulated. Interior design and special layout were brilliant. Seats both indoor and outdoor were comfortable. Service was spot on. Atmosphere was relaxing. Prices were highly competitive but expensive truth be told. Overall, it’s the most luxurious coffee shop I have ever visited. I highly recommend you visit.

Google
The space is beautiful and the branding is so on point. But let’s zoom in on the coffee — and especially the espresso — and it falls a bit flat… not even for a flat white. Sadly. But a strong concept and definitely worth the trip. Next time I’ll try the signature beverages

Google
Kind Café really lives up to the name. The bright yellow branding is such a happy, inviting front, it immediately sets a good tone. The vibes were excellent, and there’s a nice variety of seating options both inside and out. Just a fun, feel-good place overall. (really appreciated the late closing hours!) Got a latte and it was perfect. Definitely excited to come back and try more from their diverse menu.

Google
My new fav coffee house in Santa Monica. This place has all the feels!! The latte’s are so good (in cups you find hard to throw away, they are so cute) love the avocado toast! Great place to bring friends, read a book, work..or just be!!! (And be kind!)

Google
La La Land Kind Cafe immediately stands out with its signature bright yellow theme, which makes the space visually striking and absolutely Instagram-worthy. Both the interior and the outdoor patio are stylish and inviting, and even the small decorative details add to the charm. The drinks themselves also feature touches of yellow, making them easy to spot and very photogenic. The menu focuses mainly on a wide variety of coffee and tea drinks, with their lattes and matcha creations being especially popular. I decided to try my favorite, the strawberry matcha latte, and it was such a treat the beautiful pink and green layers looked cheerful and uplifting, and the taste was just as delightful as the presentation. I noticed they also offer light bites such as toasts, which I didn’t try this time, but I would love to return and spend more time enjoying both the drinks and food in this cozy, creative atmosphere.

12-12-2025 - my experience here has gotten better every time. Maybe because summer is hot and not so hot anymore. Super chill atmosphere. Really great customer service and the coffee is really good. I am hooked! Thanks La La Land... plus I like the messages on the cups.. Reminds me to be nice :) Super hott! Midmorning out here in n outside Patio 🥵 no shade out here! aturday July 19Tables clean this morning 😊 Update: July 18 2025 Got here early of course tables dirty asked to have one wipes down as I was told to do last time I brought this to their attention but went to purchase croissants and when I came back there was too much sun!! It gets super hot so moved to another table and had to clean it. The chic didn't go around to check and clean the other tables Wow!!! 😲,how lazy can you get... Is there a supervisor checking around... dissatisfied Super pissed!!! 😡 Update July 3 2025. - really sucks that I make purchases here and have to always clean off the chairs and table every morning... It takes time and it sucks.. can they clean them off every morning before people arrive... really lame... UPDATE 6/35/25. - Outside Patio unbearably. HOT!!! 🥵 Starting around 10 a.m. No trees or shade. They NEED more and DARK colored Patio umbrellas. Light umbrellas the sun filters through easily. I know BECAUSE I have purchased many in the past. 🥵 🌞 ☀️ Chill spot 😎.... Power wash would be nice And maybe wiping off the chairs and tables before people get there in the a.m. ✌️

Google
YUM! This place is so delicious. I was working the Tom’s pop-up and during my time I got to try the avocado toast with Burrata cheese and chili flakes (pictured), the Nutella toast with bananas and strawberries(not pictured), the strawberry Matcha and La la latte which are both pictured and we’re both so good and the croissant cookie, which was amazing as well. The coffee and food at this place is seriously unmatched.

Yelp
I have a simple metric for whether a coffee place is for hardcore coffee aficionados - whether they have pour over coffee, esp. with an option to select single origin beans. La La Land does not do pour over, but they specialize in creative drinks that are made for Instagram, but do not compromise on quality. I was recommended the Einspanner with almond milk while the kiddo had hot chocolate. The barista was kind enough to offer the toddler a cup of whipped cream. Service is top notch, while the ambiance is clean. La la land is fun to sit in and enjoy the coffee. The location (Montana Ave) makes it a scene to check out the latest fashion in Santa Monica, Brentwood and the influencers. It's super busy, and very dog friendly. The baristas chug along and keep the conveyer belt of high calorie, creamy goodness flowing at full throttle. Would I go there for serious coffee? No. Would I go there to enjoy a blended drink and enjoy being around a lot of creative people? For sure. You feed off the energy, all the photos being taken, the unique yellow shades that don the minimalistic, almost Japanese chic without the zen. Theres cozy couches and the place is very kid friendly. TLDR: Looking for a 'scene' and a decent blended cuppa, La La land won't disappoint. Tip: Park for free in the side streets North of Montana, or there's metered parking if you are lucky on Montana Ave.

Yelp
A cute coffee spot that really brings forth the aesthetics with their white decor and signature yellow pops of color. Started in Dallas and have expanded to Nashville, Houston, and LA. The name represents a dream world. "Place where kindness is priority." The attention to detail here is spot on from the decor to even the straws which are heart shaped. (How cute is that?!) They offer both coffee and matcha drinks and have fun seasonal drinks on rotation. They also often have collabs with other brands. The most recent one was with Touchland. There's seating indoors and outdoors for you to enjoy your drink. They also sell croissants and toast. Variation of sweet (ex. Hazelnut toast) and savory (ex. Avocado toast). The baristas here are friendly and fairly quick. Parking can get tricky when it's at busy peak times. There is street meter parking available.

Yelp
I am the person who was told I wasn't welcome in your establishment because of what I was wearing. I reached out via the corporate site and haven't heard back. I have part of the interaction on video. It was appalling. And then a manager tried to gaslight me - tell me the employee didn't say to me what she actually said multiple times because I asked for clarification in disbelief. I literally had just ordered and was waiting and she pursued me - came up to me from across the room and proceeded to disrespect me. I asked for an apology and I was told I was picking a fight. You can tell how rude and out of line the manager was from the video I have. The whole experience was disgusting and not okay.

Yelp
A very different coffee shop. Came in for the Disney collab and left pretty disappointed. The kids meal was pretty cool? I got the fruit punch and the pancake (I think lol) pancake was delicious!! I was very pleasantly surprised! The drink I did not enjoy. Also for the lala latte which I didn't really like either, maybe I didn't order it correctly because it tasted too bitter. Staff seemed to be having a rough day. 'Merch' for the collab was weird as it was just products you would have to buy online from each of the stores, nothing was actually available to purchase in store. I personally will probably not be back.

Yelp
I had only ever been to the Dallas locations, so I was excited to see one opened here! The interior is super modern and chic looking, whether it's the walls or the chandelier near the back. Upon arrival, the staff did warn everyone that the wait time was about 15-20 minutes because they had a surge in mobile orders due to an app promotion. I was able to get my drink and food in less than that, so I was satisfied but appreciated them giving customers a heads up. I tried the Salted Caramel Latte with less sweetness and thought it was good. The Avocado Truffle Burrata toast was amazing! The flavors all came together so well and I was very happy with the portion size. I would definitely come back again.

Yelp
I placed a pickup order for this location and it was pretty packed so I had to wait. I was in a hurry and I understand it being busy but having wait over 15 minutes from the time I set was pretty annoying since I had done it for a reason. I came specifically for the matcha and was really excited to check it out after all the hype but I was extremely disappointed. We had the banana and strawberry cold foam matchas and did not like either. They both tasted like straight up milk and we could not taste the matcha at all. They were extremely watery and milky and not even sweet at all. I almost can't believe how popular the matchas are here after what we got today. I wanted to like it really badly so it was upsetting especially after paying $15+ for the two drinks. This place did not live up to the hype.

Yelp
This coffee shop is so cute! From the decor inside to the little tables outside, no detail is overlooked. Even the straws are in cute little heart shapes. This location was very busy so it took a long time to get a coffee. And parking in this area is not the easiest. The late was delicious but very sweet. Next time I will ask for half sweet for sure.

Yelp
Thought this place would be overhyped but it lived up to the hype! It is a such a cute shop with indoor and outdoor seating/ ordering. The menu has a large selection of special lattes and good flavors. I tried the banana latte and it was so delicious. I did not try the food but still lots of toast and bakery selection. Would definitely recommend.

Yelp
Such a beautiful, bright, and cheery cafe with delicious coffee and tea options! I absolutely loved the design of the cafe abs enjoyed the plentiful seating options. Luckily turnover is high, so you will likely be able to find a table after ordering. Although the order line may be long, drinks and food options come out quite quickly. I wouldn't be deterred from them being busy, as the staff members definitely seem to be pros. I wanted to order the salted maple latte, but they were out of the salted maple syrup. Luckily, they still had their maple syrup so they made me the alternative, which honestly was amazing. The perfect balance of coffee and sweetness. I loved that they offer milk alternatives for all drinks and that essentially every latte order could be a match latte order. The versatility will definitely bring me back!
google avatar

Yelp
~ HEAR ME OUT ~ I love how they give back to the community and spread positivity BUT their drinks need a little improvement. I ordered online to pick up and it was super fast! There's lots of outdoor & indoor seating with aesthetic vibes. I got a matcha w cold foam & a coffee with oreo cold foam. It was o k. I USUALLY MAKE MATCHA DAILY. Their matcha was a light color green and tasted like those cheap instant packs than what I make :(. The coffee was watered down. I really wanted to like it bc the place was so cute.
google avatar

Johanna S.

Yelp
Really cute coffee shop on Montana. Ample indoor and outdoor seating. The baristas were nice and my latte was very good. It can get quite busy.
google avatar

Kevin C.

Yelp
Their Chai latte here is overpowered by the cinnamon in it. I can taste the Chai but whoever was making this drink, I wonder if they dropped the cinnamon shaker in or something. Maybe normally it would've tasted better but the quality control on this day was terrible.
google avatar

Yelp
Admittedly wanted to not like this place because of the massive line thats always formed outside of it, but have to say, it's pretty dang good. I stood in line for it, knowing I had time to kill and wanted to see what all the fuss was about. The cafe is bright and white with yellow. I ordered an iced la la matcha latte with the dairy free coconut cloud. The wait to order took a while but once you place your order, it's ready pretty quickly. The drink is adorable in their cup with a yellow straw formed in the shape of a heart. You can't help but think it's cute! And I very much enjoyed the matcha, it was delicious. And it's nice that they have a dairy free option for the coconut cloud on top of the drink - it's good!
google avatar

Tonya M.

Yelp
The cups are so cute, it's next to impossible to throw away!! Our latte's were so good..along with our avocado toast. A fav coffee hangout!!!
google avatar

Judy S.

Yelp
The vibes are immaculate. Seating indoors and lots outdoors as well. Very dog friendly - there is a doggie menu. Their matchas are delicious and lots of different tasty varieties if you like your matchas fancy. Drinks also come out pretty quickly. The only downside is that the line gets pretty long and doesn't move very fast. Clearly I missed the memo on the toast, will definitely go back and try it out to see if it bumps up to five stars.

Yelp
Cute corner store!! We tried the matcha at the laneige event at the grove & rly loved it, & thought to stop by in Santa Monica since we were in the area! There's plenty of metered street parking, $1.25 for 1H! We went on a Saturday, & it was packed! But I didn't mind the wait since I had time to look at their merchandise! They had clothes, hats, and mugs in case yall are interested! You can also check out the items on their website! They also serve food like pastries and toasts! Service was straightforward, but since it was our first time here we just expected it to be more welcoming, but nonetheless, we waited around 5-10 mins for our drinks. We were waiting outside at the pick up window bc it was too busy inside, but didn't hear our order get called.. idk overall service wasn't rly there.. anyway We got a large La La Matcha Latte with oat milk & cloud foam, $8.25. The drink overall is very lightly sweetened and was overpowered by the creaminess. This is one of their popular drinks, but I was disappointed ngl. I couldn't rly taste the matcha either. Next time I'll skip the cloud foam & ask for extra sweetener. We also got a large Perfect Latte, $7.20, and it was better! We could taste the matcha more in this drink, but it's still very lightly sweetened. This drink wasn't creamy at all even tho it has milk in it. I should've mixed both of my drinks bc one was too creamy, the other wasn't creamy at all loljk! Overall, aesthetic wise I'd give this place a 10/10, it's a great spot for photos especially if the outdoor patio was open! But the drinks are okay. Maybe it's just the location?
google avatar

Samuel O.

Yelp
Just a delightful cafe, and I'm grateful for it. Starting from the top, there's plenty of street parking, the location is very bright and welcoming and there's also outdoor seating. Service pretty standard, but I was more amazed with how thoughtful the owner was with the simple cups. They clearly thought in advance for people that want to walk around with their drinks by providing a lid. The drink is also well insulated so so that it will maintain its heat or cold temperature. There are also holders so that customers don't have directly come in contact with the temperature of the drink. I think combination of the environment and the thoughtfulness of the owner makes experience even better. The flavors are great. The drink was well balanced (not too sweet or bitter) and they offer enough variety to keep customers interested. Highly recommended.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop on Montana - clearly a neighborhood favorite! Came here for a midday pick me up. Super cute and chill ambiance - seems like a nice place to have coffee and work or study. Plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. Staff were friendly and service is pretty quick despite how busy they are. I was hoping to try the avocado toast, but they were sold out. Ended up going with the hazelnut toast. It was okay. Also tried the Strawberry Fields Matcha latte - yum! Will definitely be back to try their different matcha lattes.
google avatar

Ajay K.

Yelp
It feels like this cafe was made only for Instagram and little to no thought was given to the beverages/food menu. The staff didn't seem knowledgeable about the different items on the menu and could not make appropriate recommendations. I was skeptical about the quality of the matcha so I just got a simple chai tea which I was told would not be too sweet - but it came out full of sugar. It looks like they just added some chai syrup to milk and gave it to me - there was no tea! It's safe to say that I will not be coming back here or to any of the other branches of La La Land.
google avatar

Monique P.

Yelp
Such a cute and Instagrammable spot in Santa Monica! The drinks are creative and delicious--especially the matcha, which is the best I've had. The staff is super friendly, and while it's a little pricey, it's worth it for the vibe and experience!

Yelp
I've been dying to try this coffee shop so when the chance presented itself I took it. Location: Its on the corner of a busy street. There is plenty of street parking around the area. Actual venue is very cute. Aesthetic decor. I walked in and it wasn't too busy. Surveyed the menu and chose the Strawberry Matcha drink. Cashier was polite and friendly. I stepped off to the side to wait for my drink. I waited a couple minutes and noticed they weren't calling out names for orders. I walked up and my drink was waiting there. Thought that was weird. How was I going to know when it was ready? I walked out and took a sip. Honestly terrible. Tasted like strawberry nesquik milk. I paid $7 for it. Honestly not impressed. I'm willing to give the Grove location a shot but this one is no longer on my list.
google avatar

Yelp
(Rating is closer to a 3.5/5) Aesthetic coffee & matcha place in Montana. Always very busy as it's quite popular, so expect a bit of a wait. But the service was friendly. The menu has a variety of drinks (and alternative milk) so there are options for everyone. And there is ample seating both inside and outside. I tried the La La matcha latte and personally found it wayyyy too sweet. I would've asked for no sweetener if I had known how much the standard amount is. Any matcha flavor was pretty much hidden beneath the intense sweetness; just felt like I was drinking a cup of sugar. I'd be willing to maybe give their coffee a try next time but I would most likely would not get this drink again.

Courtney K.

Yelp
I was excited to try this place, got the banana matcha drink and it was pretty good. However when I went to go pick up my drink after my name was called, I was at the outside pick-up window so I confirmed the name and the worker gave me the dirtiest look (my party also noticed it) when she realized I was at the window to pick it up rather than inside. Like huh?
google avatar

Diego S.

Yelp
Service was very fast. Both drinks and the chai croissant were very good. Place was full inside but lots of outdoor seating.
google avatar

Nha T.

Yelp
Nice cafe with unique offerings of coffee and tea. I had their pumpkin spice latte which was creamy, fragrant, delicious and had a great fall flavor. I also tried their strawberry fields drink which was great as well. The matcha and strawberry flavor complement each other well. I came here on a Sunday morning and there was a long line so expect to wait a while during weekends. There is a small parking lot in the back but also it's located in a neighborhood so you can look for parking closeby.
google avatar

Jessica G.

Yelp
Used to be my to-go when staying at Brentwood as the Montana outlet was literally just few blocks away. I loved the neighborhood and the chillin vibes especially on weekends with people walking around and stopping by for either to-go or enjoying the ambiance and I was surely with the latter crowd. I have always been prepared when visiting during weekends since the waiting time would be quite lengthy, so pre-order by app it was! My top 2 were their Perfect Latte for hot drink and La La Latte for cold one, though occasionally I went for Upside Down or their seasonal drinks. The first one came with their house made syrup, while the second's signature was their cream top. I wouldn't say they served best coffee in town, but decent enough to enjoy for those fancying sweet coffee with fun twist on the mixture.
google avatar

Dhanushree P.

Yelp
Absolutely love my experience at la la land kind cafe, Courtney was so friendly and gave me great recommendations! I got the perfect latte and the cookies and crème, both were stunning! The strawberry toast was alright, a little soggy unfortunately. But the aesthetic and the drinks are superb, 10/10 recommend!

Yelp
I want to Preface by saying that I love this place, I come here often. I have always had good experiences here even during events. With that being said writing this review is hard, but I had the worst experience today with my order being backed up. Lala land is having a collaboration with Mickey and friends so I ordered their kids meal. I set the pickup time for 11 am by the time I arrived the staff had told me they were really backed up and it would be another 20-30 minutes. Mind you many people were complaining because most people are working and have to get back to their job. I calmly left and told them I was going to come back for lunch and they assured me it would be ready by then. I came back around 12:40 pm and the lady that was helping me which, she was pretty rude told me that someone took my order. So now I not only wasted my break time, the entirety of my lunch hour was gone as well. I had to wait again for her to make it, and on top of that I had asked her to please make me a new drink because it was sitting out for an hour+. She did make me a drink but did not fill up the entirety of the cup like the previous order. I asked why it wasn't filled more up and she said that's just how we fill up the cups. That was clearly not the case the other cup was filled up right and she probably did that out of pettiness. It's unfortunate that I have to write this review, as I've been a long time customer of this specific store, and have loved coming for the last couple of years. I hope they can do better for their customers. The photo below shows what I mean about the drink not being filled up.

Yelp
Love this place! Great coffee in such a cute neighborhood. The merch is also adorable!

Yelp
I have been here 2-3x now and every time I have enjoyed it. Sometimes the line can be long and daunting, and it is always crowded on weekends, but this cafe is a whole vibe. For those of us that grew up in the area, we will always remember the iconic Starbucks that was here but this is a pleasant replacement. The seating has taken over the whole sidewalk area stretching down to the parking lot. I recommend the banana cream top latte or the upside down latte. They have lots of options for milks. The banana cream top latte can only be done iced. This was SO GOOD. The cinnamon, the banana taste=heaven. Also, I have had a blueberry muffin and almond filled croissant here, and both have been great. The almond filled croissant is perfect for sharing. Can't wait to be back. Also, I wish they would open some locations in Orange County :)
google avatar

Yelp
I can see why they have so many positive reviews. First time coming in, loved it! The drinks were really good, service was great. I ende dup getting a matcha drink, which I thought had a unique taste and stood out from the other places I'd had it at. I liked the white decor to the place, the place was clean and eveyrone was super friendly. Looking forward to coming back.

Yelp
I found a glittery fake nail chip at the bottom of my matcha--absolutely revolting. Asked for extra milk because I paid for an extra shot and a tall blonde barista gave me the dirtiest look, filled up an entire cup of milk, and then placed it on the counter without saying a word. Wasteful and rude. This is a close-knit neighborhood. Do better.
google avatar

Yelp
Cute corner cafe with tasty matcha infused lattes, fruit coolers, and seasonal pumpkin spice lattes to experiment. We had the matcha cappuccino and lavender bloom matcha latte which were both good but the latter was much more tastier. They do have a few light breakfast items including avocado toast (we ordered the Burrata avocado toast which was fabulous), as well has hazelnut toast topped with fruit. Big plus is that they're pet friendly. Added a pic of Emma an adorable golden doodle. There are a few seating areas indoors with a center couch and coffee table. Additional seating outdoors but not sure if that was for La La land customers or the restaurant next door. Would definitely visit again.

Yelp
Servers washed out cups before mixing my latte for a nut allergy - so I rate this establishment nut allergy friendly! La la Matcha Latte was delicious and I can only say it went down too quickly.
google avatar

Olivia P.

Yelp
The staff here is working hard because the line was long and the wait time after ordering was speedy! I got the latte with the cream top and it was really good. Super pricey but good nonetheless. Also they gave my dog a pup cup, which was nice, and they have a lot of nice indoor and outdoor seating.

Have been going to mighty Pilates upstairs and wanted to stop by. I uploaded a pic of the menu. The strawberry matcha and I think it was butterfly pea tea matcha. They were both really good. Packaging of the drink is cute and sturdy.

Yelp
Stopped by Lalaland Kind Cafe and tried the Strawberry Cloud Latte. The drink was pretty and fun to look at, but the flavor was a bit light and watered down for my taste. The space itself is beautiful -- bright, airy, and full of charm -- so it's a nice spot if you're looking for a cute place to hang out, even if the drinks didn't completely wow me this time ...

Yelp
coming from oc it was definitely hard to find a matcha spot in la that's good, at a reasonable price, and doesn't have insane lines. this place hits the spot for sure. while i still miss the cafes from back home this is definitely my go to spot when i am looking for a matcha nearby! there's a free parking lot in the back but spaces are limited! there's also metered parking in the front and a neighborhood on the side you might be able to find parking at! the pickup window is on the side of the building which is nice for mobile orders! get the app to get reward points :)

Yelp
This is specific a 1 star due to service. I visited this location on Saturday 4/26 @ 9:23am. I ordered a lululemon chai latte and the Hazelnut Toast along with other drink items for my friends. The drinks came out pretty quick. I noticed lots of food order started to come out but none were mine. I waited ~ 10 minutes to check in to inquire about the status of my food order. When the barista brought more food and she looked at all the names of the orders and none were mine. I noticed the time stamps of the order and they were all much later than mine and didn't bother to inquire about my food order or share she would follow up about the status. I asked a different barista about my order ~ 5 minutes later to another employee packaging food delivery orders and she ignored her. This is crazy how her own peer ignored her. I expressed my concern about my order taking more than 15 minutes and the barista replied " that's fair." I then followed with can you inquire about this please. She went back to inquire and shared it would be another 5 minutes. So now I was waiting ~ 20 minutes for my hazelnut toast. Finally a different barista brought over my food and when I inquired about the extended wait time she replied " oh the printer broke & I guess your order didn't print." She didn't even offer to reconcile the situation until I asked for a refund due to the wait time. I asked if she needed additional information to help with the refund she ran off to the register and yelled across oh I can look through the transactions for your name. I was so disappointed and disgusted about how this situation was handled. That it took taking to three different baristas to inquire about that status of my food order. I understand things can happen but it would've been better to be honest and transparent about what happened to the printer so I'm not standing waiting for almost over 20 minutes. Additionally she acted like she didn't care and I was bothering her. I'm still waiting for the results of the refund. Hope you have a better experience than I do. But the food and drinks were good as least that's a win!

Yelp
Made a stop at La La Land Kind Cafe with coworkers and I tried the "perfect latte" for the first time and it was... perfect. I'm not exactly sure what the secret sauce is, but it was really good and I would recommend! As always, friendly service and cute ambiance.

Yelp
I come here at least once a month and I always order the same. My boyfriend and I share the Nutella toast with berries and the avocado toast with the burrata and chili crunch oil so that we can get some savory and sweet flavors. I also almost always get the lavender matcha in iced or cold. Everything tastes fantastic. Sometimes it can be hard to find seating because it's such a popular, yet small, place. Highly recommend for a quick brunch.

Yelp
Really great coffee spot that is talked about a lot but I think matches the hype. Tried a couple of coffees and enjoyed there lattes. Highly recommend their banana foam on the top or any banana flavored items as well. Ambiance of the place is very relaxing and fresh. Feels clean and inviting with an outdoorsy setup.

Yelp
A cute cafe with lots of drink options! I got an oat milk latte with the secret sauce and it was okay. For $8, it's super pricey. There's complimentary still and sparkling water on tap. But you really pay for the ambiance at this location! There are sooo many seats - inside along the windows, a conference table in the back, bistro seating along the outside wall, and a separate outside patio. A great place to work, study, or chat with friends. The vibes are cute and very LA - hence the name. The staff are very friendly, patient, and kind. They were working so hard to get everyone's orders and to keep the place clean for all the patrons.

Yelp
I wanted to study at a coffee shop today and decided to study at La La Land. Super cute and modern looking inside and they have inviting outdoor seating too! I stayed inside to focus on some studies and was happy to see they had a larger table with more study space available. They had a nice chill house playlist going that wasn't too loud which was nice for studying. I ordered the strawberry fields drink with oat milk which was both cute and tasty. If you want it sweet (like me) then make sure you stir it! The young lady that served me was very friendly and polite too. I would definitely go back to try more drinks.

Yelp
Super cute and trendy spot for a coffee date! Avocado toast is spread with a generous amount of avo and their drinks are sweet and tasty! Service is also amazing - they took my initial order incorrectly but were super kind about getting me the right drink. Definitely coming back to this location!

Yelp
My absolute favorite coffee shop in LA. I had heard raving reviews from my friends and family from Texas about La La land. What drew me to La La land apart from their bright yellow cups was their mission to help former foster youth by hiring them as employees. Now on to what you really wanna know, they have hands down the best coffee you'll ever have. My go to is the La La latte. A simple vanilla latte with your preferred milk but what makes this drink spectacular is the creamy topping. Their signature cream top is a yummy whipped creamy deliciousness that makes the drink unforgettable. My absolute favorite is their seasonal banana cream top latte. I love me an iced la la latte with banana cream top! Also they have great iced teas, matches, croissants and some super delicious avocado toasts, pb and j toasts with berries on top, and my personal fave, the toast topped with creamy burrata.

Yelp
This was a super busy and popular cute little coffee shop! They have a prime corner location in Santa Monica so I can understand why it was so busy. They have a lot of outdoor seating so you can enjoy the nice weather. There was a line to order but it moved fairly quickly. You can't see the menu until you get up there, so the line could definitely move faster if they had a menu hanging up to look at while you're waiting. If you don't like feeling rushed, you better decide what you want ahead of time! We stopped here on a whim so I had no idea what I wanted yet and just settled on a French Toast Matcha. It was okay but not the best matcha. The quality wasn't great, as you can tell by the color itself, and the drink itself was on the grainier side because of the cinnamon. It would've been better if they did like a cinnamon foam or cream on top to avoid the grainy texture, or maybe the drink is just better as a hot version. Despite the lackluster matcha, I'm still giving a 4-star because my husband's Cookies & Dream Latte was so good! Super creamy and tasted just like an Oreo flavored latte. I love their cute cups and the bright decor inside. It's very inviting and feels like a very L.A. place to get coffee.
