Great food! The lengua and tuétano sopes are delicious. Get a pulque curado if they have. I highly recommend the churros for dessert, the cajetas and guava sauce are excellent. Atmosphere is ok, kinda quiet.

Food is very delicious. Menu guide book is only Spanish. But staff is very kindly support and explain.

We ordered the queso birria and it was superb. A bit pricey for where we were at; 3 tacos and 2 waters for about $15 USD. However, the taco presentation was excellent, and the salsas were on fire! Now, the not so good part. Not sure if the hostess or person that day was having an off night but she wasn't the most welcoming. Actually a bit off putting, like she was doing is a favor but seating us. It was a Saturday night, so maybe that was the case? Who knows? Maybe we need to try this again for the food.

This place is awesome; it's my wife's favorite and it never disappoints. The food and drinks are amazing and the service is the best. The drinks...! 🍹❤️

Great food at a really good price i had to try the Taco Chapulin and let me tell you its really delicious its just basically roasted grass hoppers but delicious and i really recommend sope de chicharron prensado with a freshly made agua de guayava and thank you to all restaurant personnel for the attention to detail

Today’s dinner pick is little more luxurious Mexican foods which I’ve never tried. New and stylish Mexican foods. Try it and yummy.

I left here a changed woman... 1000/10 , The juiciest, most flavorful quesabirria I have ever had in my life and I'm not exaggerating in the slightest. I started off with the El Chicano cocktail which was refreshing and naturally sweet. My dad ordered the torta de arrachera (forget to get a picture before he scarfed it down) and just from one bite i can say it was so packed with flavor. You can tell the chef/s have mastered their craft with this menu. Service was great and the ambiance is edgy yet cozy and welcoming. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone and everyone!

I'm a frequent business traveler to Mexicali, therefore I try different restaurants quite often. I found this place walking distance from Hotel Araiza. Place is small so I recommend reservations, the main chef and owner advises that. The menu is small but very tasty. I didn't see a lot of vegan options though. I'm not but my wife is so I'm always looking for a good place. My top plate was the Lengua w tuétano sopes. My feel good dish was the taco de tripa crunchy but tender at te the same time. My I could do without is the taco de camarón capeado, it meets expectations but being from Bajá it's nothing extraordinary. I had the pan de elote for dessert and it was just ok. I must say though that I'm not a fan of pan de elote to begin with so don't pay to much attention to this last one. I hear the churros for dessert are delicious though. I did not have them because it takes 10m to make. In closing I will come back to try other dishes but as long as there's no wait time, which I imagine there would be during peak times and days. 4 out 5 .

Amazing food. Little pricy for Mexicali. But it was great food and perfect seasoning. Try the sopes. They are mind blowing. Will definitely come back.

This a great place to dine. This a modern take on the Mexican cuisine. If you're Mexican, this will most likely be smaller sized portion since this is gourmet food. If you want to see a modern twist to the old fashion plates that Mexican cuisine offers, then this is a place to go. It is not very expensive for the presentation and finesse that you see in the dishes. Mezcal selection is quite varied. I'm no Mezcal expert, but I did drink two of them and was very pleased with the flavors in the mezcal.

So good so far, drinks are great no to many Vegetarian options but drinks are the deal !

This is the best place I've been to in years. Congratulations to the Chefs. You're on the right track. I will bring you many many clients
