Serving Midland since the 1980s, La Misión pairs old‑school plates with a roomy cantina and weekend breakfast. Its move to Tradewinds Blvd was covered by the Midland Reporter‑Telegram, and it remains a Visit Midland staple for tacos, fajitas, and the Don Armando burrito.
Needed to feed my need for tacos and this place did it! Ordered the combination taco plate. 2 hard shell tacos and 2 cheese enchiladas with rice and beans. This did not disappoint! Sweet tea was amazing and the service was great! Definitely recommend this place and they also have a buffet.

There was a wait, but not very long at all. They get you in rather quickly. Bright colored decor. Good food and service.

Combination Tex-Mex plates galore. I was not a big fan of my San Antonio plate. Avoid their crispy shell tacos. Literally just an Old El Paso shell with ground beef & veggies. The entree wasn’t very memorable. Service was great and very attentive. Drinks were cold and hot the spot.

This is the best little cantina in west Texas. The food is outstanding and the beer is cold. I come here whenever I travel to midland.

Our waiter seemed to not like us very much. We had to ask for every refill we needed. As a waiter, it is part of the job to anticipate. The service here is usually fine, but this trip was the worst service I have had anywhere, in quite some time.
