La Nonna

Absolutely incredible! My husband and I had a beautiful 1st year anniversary celebration at Pasta Della Nonna ! The entire staff made our celebration so beautiful and personable. The food was incredible, delicious and plentiful! The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive. The bar was extravagant and the bar tender was friendly. We had such a great night and can’t to come back!

My mother and I appreciate the delicacy of culinary arts and fine dining. We have traveled to different parts of the world and visited a wide variety of restaurants. We have been to Italy for culinary tours and cooking classes. We can quickly distinguish the good from the bad, even before stepping in and tasting the food! We recently stumbled upon La Nonna in Little Italy, New York City, on our way home from Europe to the States. We walked the streets of Little Italy and were quickly welcomed by a kind-looking greeter at the restaurant’s entrance. I wish I had gotten his name because he made a strong impression on us as we debated which restaurant to dine at. I just had a gut feeling his restaurant would be good! We told him we would return the next day, and as promised, we did. When we returned the next day, the greeter recognized us right away. He took us inside of the restaurant and quickly seated us at one of the finest spots, overlooking the main entrance and next to the bar. Wanting to try something extraordinary, we ordered the lobster seafood pasta. Although it took a while for the kitchen to prepare the dish, it was well worth the wait. The photos and videos didn’t do it justice—the dish was absolutely delicious! The blend of flavors lingered and wrapped around our tongues. I wish there were a vocabulary to describe just how good it was. Despite being stuffed, we decided to try their desserts, opting for the chocolate truffle and tiramisu, which we paired with coffee. Again, they were delicious. While there are many restaurants on that same strip, you must make a stop at La Nonna. It will be worth your time and money! Thank you La Nonna for giving me and my mother such a great dining experience! We know we will see you the next time we stop by NYC again!

Oh my gosh, run do not walk to Little Italy! We ducked in to have a reprieve from the rain and got desserts and lattes only. Then we headed down the street to our reservation. The vibe was off. We kept talking about La Nonna Pellegrinos so we paid for our drinks and ran back: best decision ever, best food of our trip. Service was next level, felt like regulars!

It was a truly hard decision to make during lunch-Chinese or Italian? And Chinatown and Little Italy are just divided by a street! So we were still stuffed with bagels and Little Italy was still further down the road so we decided to do Italian. And we did not regret our decision especially when we chose La Nonna among all the other tempting Italian restaurants in the area! Do try the pizza with capers and anchovies! And combine it with the vongole pasta (we chose white sauce). All the flavors will transport you to a small town in Italy while in the heart of Manhattan!

Unfortunately was a bit disappointed with this place, the interior and exterior made the place look good and looking forward to the food but the service here was not great, the plates on the table had grease and the water served was not clean. While waiting for the food a waiter dropped a glass cup behind me and the glass fell into my shoe and didn’t clean the glass under the table. The wait for the food was long, Everyone else who came before and after me got their food first and my table waited an excessive time. The servers gave other tables bread and we had to ask for bread or they wouldn’t give otherwise, the bread was stale and not chewable, but the pasta I ordered was really good no complain with that, and when all the food was done we asked for the check multiple times and was not given the check.

Nice and cozy restaurant, the day was cool, ideal to be on the terrace, the lasagna was delicious, but the penne arrabiata was too cooked for my taste.

My friend and I were looking for the full tourist experience. After looking at 3 different lunch menus waved in our faces as we walked down this street, we picked the nicest hawker and it was lovely. The waiters were funny and flirty, happy to answer our questions and chat as they walked by. The owner even came by to say hello. The free bread is good and crispy, the free tomato focaccia bites were better. I got the veal cardinale, which was rich and filling. I finished with tiramisu, which was good, cause it's tiramisu, and it was a big portion.

Been here a few times and the food quality is good as always. Nicely seated on sidewalk overlooking my bike. The staff is very friendly. Started the night off with baked clams, followed by Veal Scaloppini for my niece and linguine Al Pomodoro for myself. The clams were average but the veal & linguine were delicious. We both cleaned out the plate and any sauce remaining was soaked up with bread. La Nonna is one of the better restaurants on Mulberry St. 👍👍

Got the Super Dinner Special and the Fettucine Alfredo was to die for! Easily split it between two people. And for apps we got Bruschetta and the Cesar Salad. Both good, but would skip the salad next time as it's just a normal salad, nothing special. ONLY note, it did take a little while to get our food. But I felt like it was normal for an Italian restaurant, just give yourself extra time if you have plans after just in case. But 10/10 I'm coming back. Server was very nice. The espresso martinis on the happy hour are SO GOOD. Typing this review as I sip down my second.

3.5. Satisfactory impromptu choice for an early dinner/late lunch while in the area. As a native New Yorker with an Italian heritage, I always said that most restaurants in Little Italy can be hit or miss or "touristy". It still holds true to this day. While some restaurants are supposedly better than others, when I want my Italian fix, I typically dine outside Little Italy. On a gorgeous Autumn day, we decided to settle at La Nonna--a random choice. Most restaurants have lunch specials but it can turn out to be a bait and switch once you view other items on the menu (although it doesn't have to be). My selection was Capellini Primavera and the other was Gnocchi with tomato sauce. Our server, Oscar, was very welcoming, courteous and accommodating with some of my requests. We sampled the Chianti before placing our order for this smooth and satisfying wine choice. When the pasta arrived, I noticed the generous portion. I've had Primavera many times. Theirs had a light tomato sauce with the following vegetables: zucchini, carrots and broccoli. Vegetables were cut rather large and slightly undercooked, but overall, I enjoyed it (18.95 price point). The Gnocchi was $17.95 and satisfying as I tasted one. We ended up not selecting anything from the $14.95 lunch menu. We were satisfied with our meal, wonderful service and the gorgeous weather added to the experience. I'd recommend if in the area. It might not be your most memorable Italian meal, but it will satisfy your hunger.

Stumbled across this charming restaurant walking down the street of Little Italy. We were drawn in by their varietable Menu, with a $16.50 pasta special! We were greeted and seated within moments of looking at their sample menu. SINGLE-HANDEDLY, the BEST pasta my brother and I have EVER had. I loved it so much, I wanted to walk up to anyone in the street looking for a bite to eat to eat at La Nonna!

The servers were exceptionally courteous, treating me with such attentiveness that I felt like a VIP, enjoying a truly luxurious experience. The pasta was exquisite--perfectly cooked to a tender texture, just the way I prefer it. I opted for customizing my rigatoni pasta *arrabbiata*, which added a delightful spicy kick to the dish. My kids ordered fettuccine Alfredo, and the sauce was "pretty good " said my son. Outside, the winter chill and festive Christmas decorations created a picturesque backdrop, enhancing the ambiance with a cozy and joyful charm.

Today I decided to have lunch and the service and professionalism from staff was outstanding. Mr. William , waiter was kind and very attentive to my concerns. I was here over a year ago and the service was not great. For someone who travels and eats in many restaurants it was a pleasure to come and eat at LaNonna Restaurant, at Little Italy in NYC . I have been coming to the San Generro festival since it started for 50 yrs. Though a lot has changed I will recommend LaNonna Restaurant. Today is a week of the San Generro festival..

Last minute dinner option and I was glad we stopped here. Many Italian places along the street with similar specials and dishes. Decent service, hot and good pasta. Al dente. Seasoned well. Would definitely come back. Portion was slightly small but okay for the price in NY. It was loud since the doors opened right onto the busy street. Good for someone who's not well versed in Italian food and fell for the tourist trap.

Dinner in Little Italy was a good choice tonight. The lights were strung up and twinkling and the atmosphere was so festive even one store had live Xmas accordion music playing." There are men at cafe entrances eager to have you dine with them. Truthfully I thought I was entering the restaurant next door but just followed the man to a sidewalk table. Not a biggie. Kind faces that were welcoming was good enough for me. All the employees we came into contact had cheery smiles. Service was fast enough and the food came out piping hot. The dish presented to me was not clam linguini but the server graciously took it back and we apologized to each other. My order appeared a few minutes later. So many clams, even two in each clam shell. Looked great but the cooking wine was over powering. I guess I'm too used to Italian versions from Hawaii. I ate all the clams and the pasta was left. One worker said softly, you didn't like it? I shook my head side to side. He said I'm going to tell the chef. I pleaded no but he said, he has to know. Hubs said his meatball special was good. He cleaned his plate leaving only a piece of bread. So many eateries within the few blocks of Mulberry Street. Come at night, it's all lit up and dazzling.

La Nonna is a restaurant located in Little Italy that offers traditional Italian cuisine in a friendly and relaxed atmosphere. I visited during the San Gennaro festival, and the area was bustling with activity. Fortunately, I had made a reservation a week ahead of time, which was a good thing as the restaurant was busy. Upon arrival, we were quickly seated at a table for two. We started with a Sicilian Chianti, which was served with fresh homemade bread and butter. We decided to skip appetizers and share three different main dishes: Rigatoni alla vodka, Italian sausage with onions, peppers, and potatoes, and Pollo Lucia, which was battered chicken with shrimp in a lemon butter sauce. Of the three dishes, the Italian sausage stood out as the special of the day. Although the service was a bit slow that night, it didn't matter as we were enjoying a lovely dinner with delicious food and friendly service. We plan on revisiting La Nonna soon.

The food was amazing. We started with the fried zucchini...and wow. You've never had it like this before. That's all I'll say, don't want to ruin the surprise. The complimentary bread was very good too. I got the rigatoni...so flavorful. I ate every last bite. My wife and kiddo got the spaghetti and meatballs...and devoured it. Despite how busy it was, the service was on point. Fantastic meal all around!

Very delicious food. The spaghetti is house made and you can tell! The sauce reminds me of family made red sauce, very flavorful! The meatballs had ton of flavor and very large in size. The staff was super kind and welcoming to our party of 15 with almost no notice, and treated us soooo nicely. Everyone enjoyed their food with no complaints. Even the dessert is great! Try the tiramisu! The restaurant was not too loud but the perfect size for many people. Nice family restaurant.

Love this place in little italy. Ordered the seafood player which feeds 3 but I ate almost all of it myself because it was that good! Their diet coke was the crispiest diet coke I have ever had oddly enough. Coming back when in NYC.

Don't waste you money on this place the waitress and busboys are the worst at customer service Sense the 20% it's included on the check they don't care to check on you if you need anything else like soda,tea or anything else,they act entitled to their tip without caring at all for customers,they lack multicultural education,I'm a Spanish speaking person thinking this place would have treat me better for speaking their own language,but not at all they only treat white people and tourists nice leaving locals as irrelevant,shame on this employees for discriminating their own culture,goes to show they're lack of multicultural understanding,I've been in many restaurants that treat you with amazing customer service regardless of your nationality or the way you dress up.

Me and my mom decided on this place on a whim and were pleasantly surprised to experience quick and attentive service during lunch hour. The restaurant was clean and the food was delicious. Definitely would go back to try something else and add to my comprehension of the place but the prices are fair and the service was great overall.

We went on a Friday night, we were a group of three. We had made reservations just in case, but it seems like they can also sit you if you don't have a reservation. The service was great, our waiter was patient and spoke in a calm voice. Everyone was dressed nicely! The food was delicious, I had the pene allá vodka and it was sooo good. We had the calamari and burrata as an appetizer they were both very fresh and the calamari was perfectly cooked.

This restaurant was recommended by a friend & all I can say it was fabulous! Start with their fresh warm baked focaccia bread. Pinot noir & sangria. Entree Veal with side of meatballs & seafood risotto. Dessert tiramisu & chocolate? with vanilla gelato. Tiramisu was our favorite. The service was amazing! Enjoy! Enjoy!

Food was amazing! Service was ok but never asked for a refill on our beverages/wine but other than that it was good. This restaurant is a pretty nice atmosphere with a hint on true Italian ambiance but this is coming from a Californian lol!! I would recommend.

Had a fabulous meal here. We were actually heading to a different restaurant in the area and went for a walk, while we waited for our table to be ready. We passed by this location and were very impressed by the menu, so decided to go inside. We were sat quickly and got drinks within a few minutes. The manager Luis (not sure of the spelling!) was just amazing. He offered some suggestions when we told him what we were wanting and my husband ordered the My Way seafood pasta dish which was absolutely superb. I ordered the Rigatoni alla Vodka (I like the simple things in life!). It was delicious. The service was excellent l, the food was first class and the drinks were great. We just loved our experience and will absolutely be back!

Great atmosphere with excellent food. If you pay attention, you'll notice paintings on the back wall of some of the waiters. Neat things like this throughout the restaurant show you just how authentic and family oriented it is! We ordered the Penne Alla Vodka and Chicken Alfredo Fettuccine. Food was out quickly and platted neatly. Penne alla vodka was excellent. Tons of flavor with a generous serving size. The fettuccine was a bit dry, but had good flavor. It is a small establishment, so it's gonna be petty packed in there. I'd rank the entire experience a 4/5. I would return

Atmosphere - Very Good. Located in the heart of (what is left of) Little Italy, the restaurant has a Italian trattoria feel to it. There is a sidewalk covered dining area that has about 8 four tops. Service - Very Good. Our server was pleasant and fairly attentive. Food - Very Good. We arrived just before the window closed for the lunch specials. There was about 6 specials and they all looked great. However, I was in the mood for veal, which was not on special. I decided on the restaurant's version of veal piccata and I was very pleased with my meal. It came with two nice sized pieces of veal and a side of pasta. The lemon sauce was delicious and the veal was very tender. I had a glass of wine with my meal and the pour was generous. Overall Value - Very Good. I loved the atmosphere and the prices are very reasonable, especially considering the generous portion sizes.

We stopped for a late lunch/early dinner on a Thursday and easily found an outside seat. The atmosphere is very nice, with real flowers all around the outside area. Service was very slow getting us a menu and to order. There are many lunch specials before 4 pm, which are pretty much pasta, but priced well. We were given a bread basket and butter. I started with a glass of Pinot Noir which was a good pour. I settled on the Penne A La Vodka. My food arrived quickly and was nice and hot. The pasta was cooked perfectly, and the vodka sauce was good. Definitely worth a stop.

The restaurant is in a great location, in the heart of Little Italy, and the prices are low but the quality of the food reflects it, however. The pasta tasted reheated and the service wasn't very amiable. Save your time and appetite for one of the many other Italian restaurants on Mulberry street.

La Nonna is a gem that you can find in Little Italy. The atmosphere was lovely, but most important, the food was delicious. The servings were perfect and filling. If you are looking for a place to dine, look no further and visit La Nonna. Unfortunately the service could use some improvement. After dinner we sat there waiting for our ticket..after waving someone down, we waited over 10mins to pay.

Great lunch with my brother. La Nonna had a nice patio right on the lively Mulberry street but we opted to sit inside. We ordered meals off the lunch menu including the manicotti and fettuccine Alfredo. Portions were very large and very cheesy! Service was good and we never felt rushed. For dessert we ordered the Cappuccino Gelato Truffle. It was a great choice, but we also recognized that there were a lot of other great dessert options on the street though such as Cannoli King or any of the little gelato stands.

Absolutely amazing food! The wait staff was so attentive and kind! Great location and the music and open air of the space was wonderful!

In the heart of Little Italy, this spot was such a treasure to find. The outdoor seating area is so cozy and the heaters were perfect to take the little chill out of the air (November is quite chilly). They had a specials menu, which consisted of their best pasta dishes and were under $20! The Penne a la vodka was amazing. The flavor of the sauce was dead on! I would love to visit this spot again, if I'm ever back in the city.

My husband and I came in after it was recommended by a family member. The lunch menu had great choices and prices to match. It has a very traditional Italian restaurant like setting with nice low lighting. I had the ricotta ravioli and it was delicious. The service was top notch as well.

This tiny place was such a surprise to us. The food exceeded our expectation and the atmosphere took us back to Italy. Service was a bit slow and can't say they were really friendly but the food made up for it. The pasta e fagioli (the soup) was just as good as my grandma's and I had to force myself not to order a second portion. If you're planning to order only one thing, go with the soup.

I came here during the feast of San Gennaro. It was understandably busy as it was a Friday night. Calamari was fresh, juicy, hot, made just right! The best thing I had that night. Red sangria was very tasty! Entree: took an extremely long time to come. They were backed up due to the traffic from the festival. Mom had gamberoni oreganate. (Shrimp stuffed with breadcrumbs made with white wine and tomato over pasta). The shrimp had a weird smell and after taste. The dish was also lacking flavor. I had the penne di pesce. It was a very generous portion with a lot of seafood. The shrimp also had a strange smell and taste unfortunately. The dish did not wow me. I'm not sure what it was. It wasn't horrible but the sauce needed love.

The restaurant lies on the lively street of Little Italy, and a man encouraged us to get a table. Thus, I went here with a party of 8 on a whim and was not disappointed. We didn't have to wait either. They have dinner specials with an array of different kinds of pasta from rigatoni bolognese to penne alla vodka all for a reasonable price of 16.95. We ordered two calamari frittis for the table and it was excellent. The calamari was golden, crispy, and not chewy at all. The sauce accompanying it was also perfectly spicy. They also gave us complimentary bread which was also tasty and not stale. I ended up ordering the penne alla vodka, which was timed perfectly after the appetizers. The portion was perfect and I enjoyed my pasta very much. My entire table was also satisfied with their meals. Everything was flavorful and tasted very authentic. Above all, the service was excellent. Our server, William, always checked on us and would always refill our drinks without us asking. He would also clear the table for used plates and everything seemed very professional. Our server also memorized our order without needing to write it down. All in all, it was an extremely pleasant experience dining at La Nonna and I feltreally welcomed eating here.

We decide to come in & check this place out after walking around the area. It was a warm day out so we just stuck to water this time around. Appetizers we got the Mozzarella della casa , fresh mozzarella with chopped tomatoes , basil & bruschetta this was great , nice tasting mozzarella all together was very good. Main dishes we went with the Capellini di Pomodoro angel hair pasta with basil, olive oil , garlic & marinara this was very good, great tasting sauce & pasta. We also had the Pollo Scarpariello boneless chicken , sausage & potatoes in a white wine & olive oil sauce nice tasting chicken dish went well with the pasta. Decent looking place, service was good & prices were not bad we enjoyed our meal.

Before the pandemic. $12.50 for a sit down hot lunch plate in a lavish restaurant in New York City!? Came here twice while visiting the Chinese Museum nearby. Found out about this place only because we used our Hilton vouchers from attending timeshare presentations. 10/19/2018. Wife ordered the manicotti formagio and I ordered the rigatoni alla vodka both from the $12.50 luncheon special. My meal was decent with rigatoni noodles in a vodka tomato cream sauce. Did not taste any sausage nor mushrooms. Wife's dish was noodles stuffed with cheese. 05/08/2019. Wife ordered the ravioli de casa, and I ordered the rigatoni alla bolognaise, both from the $12.50 luncheon special. The ravioli de casa was only a half dozen cheese ravioli in a butter sauce with spinach and tomato. The rigatoni noodles came in a meat sauce, with plenty of ground beef. Both meals came with hot out of the oven bread, in one case with raisins. Gorgeous restaurant decorations, lovely ambiance, beautiful presentation, attentive service, clean bathroom. And at $12.50 excellent value, authentic down to the small portion size we saw in Italy. Would I come here again? Yes, but wouldn't attend any more timeshare presentations!

Amazing, home made noodles, rich sauces and affordable drinks, definitely worth a stop.

Little Italy is always a must for us every time we visit the city. Our favorite places are those that give us that old school, Italian home feel. This time our daughter we let our pick and she picked La Nonna for a late lunch. It was everything we were looking for, hoping for and wanting. They were busy(it was 2 days after Christmas ) but as soon as we walked in we were greeted and sat immediately (party of 4). Even though they were super busy our service was on point and we never waited for anything. It really did have that warm cozy yet alive with music and conversations that would find in a big Italian family. The complimentary warm focaccia and Italian bread was the perfect start for the amazing meal to come. For appetizers we ordered the stuffed artichokes and the special Burrata bruschetta. They were both delicious but the artichokes could have used a little less bread crumbs in my opinion. I would order both again! For the main courses and on the recommendations from our server we ordered the veal marsala, baby clams in a white wine sauce with linguine, calamari and muscles and a red sauce and penne alla vodka. I honestly can't tell you which was my favorite because they were truly all delicious and cooked to perfection!! My Malbec paired nicely with each dish. Even though we were stuffed we had to order dessert. My husband's favorite is tiramisu and he said it was the best he has had in a long time. From the dessert specials of the day my daughter and I ordered the pistachio gelato and cappuccino gelato. Both were amazing. It does break my heart that it seems Little Italy seems to be getting smaller and smaller each time that we visit. So please when you are in the city take a moment to go to there and try the amazing old school vibe and delicious food. I promise you will not be disappointed!

Amazing, amazing, amazing service. The host is incredibly nice and his staff are so polite, charming, and at your service. This restaurant has been open for 30 years. It was packed outside and inside but the food came out so fast. Beautiful decorations and staff! The food was incredible. Everything was goood and fair priced.

I came here with a few co-workers for lunch. It was a quick in-and-out lunch, with their lunch specials. The food was overall "okay," and nothing to ride home about. The prices were standard, city prices, so it was not terrible. We ordered the lunch special items: veal Marsala w/ spaghetti, Shrimp Parmesan w/Spaghetti, Chicken Parmesan w/Spaghetti, and Chicken Penne. The Marsala had a weird taste, as the sauce and mushroom had a sour aftertaste, and not so much the deep flavor it was supposed to have. The veal was breaded and thin, but all I could taste was the breading and the veal was hard to cut into. I had to scrape the plate with the knife as I was cutting into the veal. The spaghetti was the only savior of the dish, so I ate mainly that. Not sure if the other dishes were good, but the agreement was that it was just alright. Not the best in Little Italy.

The food was a mixture of class and delight,something only a few places can match in quality. The service was amazing. The atmosphere was nothing far from a classic Italian restaurant. La Nonna is without a doubt the best Italian restaurant in little Italy.

Their pizza isn't good little to no sauce straight cheese and bread. The only okay thing was their pasta cause it had sauce lol

The food here is incredible. A very good lunch deal and service is quick. The ambiance is beautiful and fits the vibe of a normal Italian place. It's a must go to for lunch! I recommend to Ravioli.

I got the margarita pizza, top 5 I've had in my entire life. However, the staff seemed very rude from what I saw. But the feeling in the place made it feel like I was truly in Italy. Overall, 4/5 stars

A fun little spot in Little Italy. Great service and vibes. Rigatoni alla vodka and fettuccine Alfredo were good. Burrata was also tasty. Much better Italian spots elsewhere in the city though at this price range so probably won't go back, but it was still fun especially because of the area it's located in

We eat in Little Italy whenever we go back home to New York. Usually we go to 2 other restaurants for dinner that have become our favorites over the years but we decided we would try a different place for lunch and I am so glad we did. We ordered mozzarella caprese as an appetizer which was fresh and so good and the chicken parmigiana, sometimes this dish can be a hit or miss either to mushy or too crispy but this was deliziosa! The chicken was cooked perfect the pasta and the bolognese sauce aka gravy on my pasta was perfect. I love that they bring you two types of bread while you are waiting, the bread was so good we ordered another basket. There are a lot of great of great restaurants in Little Italy but this is one that is worth going to.

We stopped in a bit later in the evening without reservations and they were able to get us in with about. 30 minute wait. It was a busy night but yet they were able to get us seated right away and bring drinks and food in a quick manner. I ordered the lasagna and my gf ordered the pasta fagioli. The food was very good. Plenty of flavor. The staff did a wonderful job of taking care of us despite the fact we were a large group with many requests. They did an expert job of handling our requests for drinks and additional bread. Good job! We will definitely be back.

My experience at La Nonna in Little Italy was nothing short of a nightmare. The manager's behavior was shockingly rude and completely unprofessional. I went here with my roomates and our pasta came out in a substantially smaller proportion compared to the people sitting around us, even though we ordered the same dish (penne alla vodka). When we pointed this out to the server (later found out he is the manager also) he blamed it on the fact that it was served in a different dish. They went back to the kitchen to put our pastas on the same dish as those around us, and yet it was a much smaller proportion. We mentioned this again to the server and he completely blew up. He continued to raise his voice at us and ask us, verbatim, "Do you think I'm stupid?" This level of hostility towards a customer is completely inexcusable and downright disgraceful, even if he felt the amount of food was the same. He left the table angry and when I finally spoke up, everyone at the table too scared to, I was gaslit and yelled at again. Never once did I raise my voice at him as I was explaining how his utter disrespect made me want to leave and to take the pasta off the bill as I didn't take one bite. He argued with me and tried to say I didn't want to pay for the pasta because I didn't want to pay for the pasta, which makes no sense at all, as I again did not take one bite. Honestly the portion wasn't that huge of a deal for me, and I was gonna let it go and eat my pasta, until he demonstrated that immature and disgusting behavior of yelling at us at the table, he yelled so loud the people around us stared. It was humiliating and quite astonishing that a place like this remains in business with such abysmal customer service. After reading the other reviews, this seems to be a constant theme so do yourself a favor and avoid La Nonna, an absolute disgrace to the city's dining scene

Service was absolutely fantastic. The staff here offered to let us inside early so we could warm up and stay out of the cold. The food was was great, large portions and very delicious. The environment was nice, decorated nicely and warm and friendly music playing. Would absolutely recommend this place staff and food was amazing. Very kind and welcoming place to come enjoy great food!

The place has potential to be better. We waited 1hr and 15 minutes after sitting down to get food tonight. The water servers were very polite and kept giving us water and bread as we waited. I received my pasta and you can tell it was rushed. Rushed even after over an hour wait! Water waiter told us they were short a cook that night. Majority of my plate was uncooked garlic pieces that was quickly thrown in with no time to cook to get the flavor. It's shown in the picture. My partner loved his carbonara pasta which actually wasn't even on the menu which was nice!

Website prices do not accurately reflect what they charge. Ordered a sandwich for pickup that online said was $11.95. When I went to pick it up and pay they charged me $18.95. Very shady, not practices of an upstanding restaurant. Would not recommend giving them your business.

A cute little Italian place in little Italy! Super chill and delicious food absolutely loved it! Customer service was amazing everything was cleaned and spaced out you're not eating on top of other people which i also loved! You must try La Nonna when you're in town! They also have lunch deals which is also pretty good

Food was great, nice atmosphere and phenomenal service. Definitely will be back Lunch special is a very good deal.
