Yesterday I try typical Colombian food. It was Chicken Chuzo and Arepas with meat. What I can say? It was totally delicious! Nothing expensive but really great experience! Amazing, simple yet delicious food. Beautiful old house. Great location. Traditional old music. Only minus is that you have to pay in cash- no card payment possible.

This place is a gem in medellin. Be ok with waiting for a table, for service to be a bit slow for the food to be great. You’re there to hang out, chill back, bites, chat and drinks in a setting that transports you out of the city. Live slow vibes. Most crappy reviews are foreigners that dont get it.

Chill place to have appetizers among friends… the mini empanadas and cheese sticks are so cute and pretty tasty. The menu and parking is limited and they only accept cash.

I don't really understand this place. It's up the street from where I live and I went there with my family and in laws to check it out after hearing great things about the empanadas. The empanadas were ok at best (I would give 3/10), the cheese sticks and chicken was *horrible*. Service was horrible as well. After waiting 20 minutes with hand raised so I could pay and get the food to go (so that we could go eat somewhere else), and with multiple servers making direct eye contact with me but not acknowledging me, I brought the food to the register and paid there / got it packaged.

This bar is like spending time in a country house but in the middle of Medellin. The bar only accepts cash, so be prepared. The food menu is basic, Empanadas, Palitos de queso, and Chuzos de pollo. Liquor is extremely well priced. Service is great, and normally a dish of fruits is supplied when you order your alcohol. For price and ambience this place easily rates 5 stars.
