"Both locations of the bakery are offering to-go six-inch cakes for sale, including flavors such as funfetti, red velvet, and chocolate-raspberry-pistachio. Orders can be placed online or in-person for pickup and curbside pickups in three to four days. Bonus: there’s a drive-thru setup at the South Austin location" - Nadia Chaudhury

Super cute little coffee shop! First time visiting and really enjoyed their Vietnamese latte, morning bun, and gluten free cinnamon pecan muffin. Staff were friendly and great customer service! It is a little small with only two tables inside and outside but for a group of four people it was perfect to chat for a bit. Would come back!

Best Macarons you’ll have. My favorite is the birthday cake, but truly all of them are good. They are not your normal hard exterior ones, they are larger (fuller) and more airy. In fact, I’m going to grab some on the way home. Highly recommend. Try to get some early, they sell out relatively quick during the day.

Used to come here all the time a few years ago but we moved far away, now we almost never make it in. As a special treat I brought my daughter today and I really regret it. Crobrios were completely uncooked in the middle (see picture) and the guy they had working there tried telling me the morning buns they had were Kouign-ammann, which we specially came for on the weekends. Apparently they don't do that anymore... Very sad. Several of the macarons we got were old as well, we thought they were surprisingly hard until we got a few fresh ones that were soft and delicious. Would never go back, and they need to take drastic measures if they want to retain customers.

Google
Given a 6 pack of macarons as a gift from friends and they are hands down the best I've ever had. Really enjoyed the macarons softness with a satisfying chew to them. The fruit flavored (cherry?) were exceptional, with a bright and clear fruity smell and taste, perfect level of sweet, with a delicious smooth and light filling. 5 stars for a quality product and mouth watering taste.

Google
They have macarons to DIE for! Every flavor is delicious and all the pastries and cakes are delicious that I’ve tried (my favorite has been the chocolate cherry croissant!) I wish they had there coffee flavors more in stock but I’m still giving them five stars ⭐️ on my review :)

Google
Love, love this place! It's such a cute French bakery, which reminds me so much of our visit to France and exploring the many bakeries there. We have tried practically most items on their menu and especially love their macarons (there are so many great flavors to choose from), croissants, eclairs, and cookies during our weekend trips out of the house. We've had such a great experience with their baked goods that we used them over the years for birthdays and special occasions. It's also a plus to learn that they use ingredients that don't have all the preservatives you find in most baked goods these days.

I’ll be back but will skip the macaroons. I got the lemon and brûlée tarts and both were fantastic! So, sooo good! That said, I was super disappointed with the macaroons in both taste and texture.

Google
07/21 update: I recently tried the chocolate crobrios, which is a donut made with croissant and brioche dough, filled with vanilla bean pastry cream, and covered in chocolate. I’m obsessed! This was such a unique pastry. Their macarons are yummy too. I especially enjoyed the dark orange one which I believe was their salted caramel flavor. It tasted just like brown butter. 07/11: I got a bag of 4 almond croissants for $4 using the Too Good To Go app. A single croissant usually costs $4.50, so I got great value for the amount of food I received. I was hoping to get more variety of pastries, but the croissants were absolutely delicious. They’re buttery and filled with a sweet almond paste (and I don’t usually like almond flavored desserts!). The croissants tasted great even after freezing them. For anyone unfamiliar with Too Good To Go, it’s an app that combats food waste by letting you purchase affordable surprise bags of leftover food from your favorite local restaurants and grocery stores. Bags typically cost around $4 to $6, and they're called “surprise bags” because you never what you're going to get.

Yelp
Went on Saturday for some pastry's and they were delicious. Every bite was crunchy and filled with flavor. Their pastry case is filled to the brim with yummy looking pastries. The waitress was very sweet and helped us find the best options, she was even ready to make substitutions if we needed. The restaurant is well placed in the domain so the scenery is gorgeous! Great for people watching or good conversations.

Yelp
Just found my favorite peanut butter cookie. Yum. :p Found this place years ago and continued to patron every once in a while for their dry-style turkey croissant. Plus, they have offered a goat cheese item once in blue moon--so rare, and so helpful to folks with lactose intolerance and milk allergies. That might've been my main motivator to go back year-after-year, hoping to see a goat-cheese quiche again. The only other thing I'm tempted to get occasionally is the morning bun--'cause cinnamon. :? It's relatively thick and heartier than others (not just eating sugary air). My only regret after purchasing the cookies is the price. ($__$ ) This place is expensive, and it's not the place I'd recommend for ...almost any of its typical offerings. There is, however, a bit of a novelty draw because they change up their menu regularly, not just seasonally. Still, if I don't like the base set, my expectations for the changeups aren't too high. Regardless, I'll continue to patron randomly. It's easy to park, and the shopping center has plenty of food-food options if I want to pickup something savory to go with my sweet. And maybe I'll one day see "goat cheese" in the case again. :)

Yelp
This used to be my favorite bakery. I would go way out of my way to stop there for coffee and pastries. The past several times I have been the pastry selection has been very limited. They also removed any option to warm up your purchases. In addition, the staff used to be incredibly friendly, but now are extremely unhelpful and seem like they do not want to be there. Additionally, the quality and taste of the coffee has greatly declined. Items there are pricey, and used to be worth it, but due to limited choice, poorly crafted coffee, and unpleasant service, I'll be taking my business somewhere else.

Hal F.

Yelp
We got there in the afternoon, between 2-3, my friend wanted dessert. There was nothing left they said. The cases were basically empty, with a couple of items left. Bakery with no cake, pastries...etc. Really disappointing!

Jenna J.

Yelp
Will not go back! I have a $50 giftcard that I received and they would not honor it because they said they changed ownership. However, they are still operating as if they are the same business with the same logo and business name. Then I asked if I could talk to a manager and then they made me wait 20 minutes then said they were too busy to talk to me and had me leave my name and number on a napkin with a dry erase expo marker. I cannot believe how this was handled. This was at the burnet location.

Julie E.

Yelp
The pastries and desserts in this cute little establishment are out of this world! Definitely stop by and grab a macaroon!

Yelp
Ever since I heard about Cronuts (A cross between a croissant and a donut) being trendy due to a new york pastry shop making them viral I've always wanted to have something similar- But I knew they had become patented. After digging around for a while this pastry shop off Burnet popped up as potentially having a take on the idea, but with their own twist- Called the Crobrio (Croissant+Donut+Brioche?) I won't lie, it's absolutely devastating how good this thing is. Imagine a donut with fluffy, buttery layers inside coupled with a decadent vanilla cream filling...And not the cheap kind mind you, proper European style with the rich yellow color. Any time I'm in the area I have to stop and get one with an iced tea. I would absolutely five star this place if it wasn't so pricey, but at the same time I do realize the amount of work that probably goes into making desserts this complex needs to be priced in. I've tried their other pastries as well and they are excellent. Croissants, eclairs, savory croissants as well. It's a higher caliber pastry so expect to pay a little more for them, but it's worth it for me! Probably one of the best European style pastry shops in Austin, 4.5 .

Cilicia L.

Yelp
We were greeted immediately when entering the shop in the early afternoon. There were a selection of pastries, but our focus was on the macarons. They are mine and my son's favorite. So much so that they are what he requested as a souvenir when I went to Paris. These macarons rivaled the ones I enjoyed in Paris. The cookie is crisp on the outside and tender inside, and the filling is smooth and creamy. We enjoyed all of the flavors we purchased: rose, orange cardamom, lavender, and lemon honey. I highly recommend.

Bertold K.

Yelp
Cute little bakery with high quality pastry. My son definitely enjoyed the almond and chocolate croissants. Many varieties of macaroons are also available. Coffee is also delicious. The place is small, so seating options are limited. There is plenty of parking outside.

Jennifer N.

Yelp
Seriously the best bakery in town! They always have a great variety of baked goods to choose from. The macarons are the best here cooked to perfection. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. We love coming here on the weekend.

Steve W.

Yelp
Plenty of reviews about this place, but I thought I'd add a couple things others didn't. First of all, there's lots of parking, however, their hours are 8 AM till 5 PM every day which means if you're looking for something on a very early commute, you're better off at a convenience store. You could also go to Lonestar kolaches just a few blocks away on Anderson Lane since they open at 5:30 AM. Like any bakery, it's best to get there early for a better selection. I got there after 2 PM on a Saturday and there wasn't much left, but I did pick up some blueberry muffins ($4.50 ea). The interior of this place is very small (smaller than the width of a bus). with only a couple spots to sit at and I did not see a public bathroom. The croissants are very good and you can get them with chocolate inside or baked with turkey and cheese (along with other variations). I did not spot any kolaches or breakfast sandwiches. However, if you go to their website, you can order specially made cakes and other items including quiche items. One thing I did not spot was a menu on the wall, or any prices on the items in the display case. They at least have a coffee menu on the wall. After your goods are bagged up, and it's time to settle up with a credit card, yes, that tip screen will be waiting.

Fletcher R.

Yelp
Good food. Friendly staff. We got a macaron, morning bun, and other pastry. It's worth the calories.

Shayer S.

Yelp
Yikes! Truly one of the worst places in Austin. Went in around noon on a Sunday. There's not a lot in the display so we picked a slice of funfetti cake for $6.50 and pumpkin spice Eclair for $4.25. It's pretty pricey. We took one look at the macaroons and they did not look to appetizing. My wife called it at the time without even buying that this looks pretty old and stale. We bought the food and went into the car. This is really for the kid and he took one bite and he said it's yucky. So we tried it and he was right! It was so stale! The frosting is all hard and you can just tell from the picture that it's really old and stale and just not appetizing at all and so we ended up having to throw it away. How do you serve something this old at this price, is there no quality control? The pumpkin spice Eclair, while not stale, was not particularly good. The bread was too dense and hard and the cream wasn't particularly tasty so all. Overall, it was just a very disappointing experience. I don't know why this place would exist with so many other great things in the surrounding area. It just feels mismatched and we definitely wouldn't come back and would advise you the same.

Yelp
One day I had a SERIOUS hankering for a cronut and La Pâtisserie came through for me. What they have is actually called a CroBrio and is like a cronut with a filing in the middle. DELICIOUS!! It was so good, they had plenty on a Saturday morning around 9am, and the lady at the register was so nice. I also tried a big fluffy chocolate croissant which was delicious. The pastries were 5/5 on flavor and quality. The crobrio was a little small but actually felt like the perfect little treat to satisfy my craving. They also have macaroons, coffee and other pastries as well. A bit on the pricy side but it's a quality pastry in Austin, so still worth it. The location is small but mighty (but I can see how they could easily run out on a busy day).

Niharika G.

Yelp
Walked into this bakery on a Sunday morning! It was full of fresh macarons, croissants, and other classic French pastries. Initially, I was so excited! I tried the five different macarons: which were all just okay. The orange and rose flavors were the better of the bunch, but I was disappointed in the price and texture of the macarons. Each macaron is $2.50, which is expensive. On that, they were not crispy on the outside or chewy inside. It was more bready in texture. Will come back to try different pastries and hope for better quality!!

Emily T.

Yelp
This place gets busy so be prepared for a bit of a wait when ordering, there was only guy at the front when we were there. Holysmokes! The crobrio is my new favorite thing, the chocolate glazed one was a bit too decadent for my taste but I loved the cinnamon sugar one, these are also filled! 10/10 coming back to try more of their menu!

Yzabelle O.

Yelp
La patisserie has delicious French-inspired treats and is the perfect place for everything from croissants to macarons. Everything is made fresh daily! They have such a great variety of treats + pastries such as this delicious Coffee Religieuse. The puff and crème are light and airy, full of coffee flavor and just the right amount of sweetness Coffee Religieuse: Two pâte à choux filled with coffee crème Cold brew with oat milk The coffee they brew is Stumptowncoffee and their cold brew is smooth + strong. Perfect to accompany your pastry of choice *50% off all croissant items after 3pm EVERY DAY* #lapatisserieatx is open 7 days a week from 8am-5pm

Ryan R.

Yelp
Great place to pick up some macarons. I got a 6-pack to have some variety and was fairly pleased with all of the macarons. I only wish that the chocolate was available as they were still waiting on it to finish cooling. The lemon was a tad too lemony for me but I'm sure a big lemon fan wouldn't mind it. Overall soft, slightly chewy, and was still good after being in the fridge for a couple days.

Ticu M.

Yelp
I special ordered the cake pictured. The email confirmation I received when I placed the order said that I would receive another email once the cake was ready to pick up. I never received any other communication from the bakery, so I called to find out if the cake was ready when I ordered it to be, and it was. The cake was less decorated than the cake pictured on the website, so I was a bit disappointed. I emailed the shop to say that I didn't receive the product as it was represented on their website, but they never got back to me. All that said, the cake and chocolate ganache filling were delicious! The icing on the outside was not as tasty, but good. I also don't think their macarons are made well enough.

Jane R.

Yelp
YUMMY pastries! I typically eat gluten, but I tried the blueberry GF scone and a GF muffin and both were DELICIOUS. Arguably, one of the best muffins I've ever had. If you're looking for a quick place to pick up some good pastries, this is your place!

June L.

Yelp
Service was great. The pastry was dry. Would not be back. The barista suggested the eclair over another pastry saying she preferred it. I didn't eat it, it was so dry. Just scooped out the cream filling. The cappuccino was ok, but I was there for the pastries and would not go back just for coffee. The location is ok, inside is small, tidy. 2 tables outside, but you're looking at the parking lot. There are so many other places to get good coffee and pastries with a better view.

Lexi S.

Yelp
I ordered the almond croissant, 6 macaroons and the cream puff. The cream puff and macaroons were ok, I got it delivered, it was cracked, different sizes and all kind of tasted the same except for the almond flavor which was overwhelmingly almond. It's really odd that you don't get to pick the flavors of your macaroons when you are ordering online. The almond croissant was pretty good and I had to split it up over three days, on the third day it was still pretty good when heated up. It was pretty pricey though for what I got and I wouldn't recommend the cream puff. I also got the Vietnamese coffee which was pretty good

Aude L.

Yelp
I had gone here to order croissants in the past. Those were pretty good, although not the freshest I've ever tried. Since it was the end of the day, I was pretty satisfied with this. However, we recently came back to order an assortment of macaron with the intention of ordering a bunch for our wedding. Unfortunately, they were a bit of a disappointment. The shells were dense and doughy, and did not have a crisp outer shell or a delicate, chewy middle. The inside tasted very buttery, but like not much else? Like you were literally biting into a piece of sweetened butter. And as a whole, they were excessively sweet and we had a hard time identifying the flavors because the sugar was so overwhelming. We felt obligated to try a bite of each flavor-but they all tasted very similar. Macarons are not Walmart cupcakes. They should not be dense, doughy sugar bombs with a boring flavor profile, especially when you are spending $2.50 each. The pros: they are quite large and come in fun colors. We ended up going with another tastier and more affordable macaron baker. 2/5 for the sad macarons. 4/5 for the croissants.

Mariana G.

Yelp
I recently tried the chocolate crobrios, which is a donut made with croissant and brioche dough, filled with vanilla bean pastry cream, and covered in chocolate. I'm obsessed! Yelp
If you're looking for stale and refrigerator cold pastries, this is the place and bonus, they're pretty expensive too! We have been to there downtown/south location, but for the burnet location, this was our first visit and definitely the last one! I preordered yesterday for picking up today, in the order it says, we get a mail when the order is ready but you don't get mail nor there phones work! Lady at the front counter told, she'll call here associate as she's the one who put my order together, and associate hadn't put my order together yet and it was past my pick up time as I was waiting for my pickup mail. so then they took a cheap paper bag and dumped everything together other than cream puff (Kouign amann, beignet, pecan maple morning bun and crobrios) and handed me over saying, it's all sugar, what an enlightening! Oh god! All the pastries were cold as if took it out from the refrigerator. So had to warm them up in oven ourselves! Cream puff: i felt, it was not a day old, it's days old, me and my kiddo took a bite and spit it out before swallowing, it was old, stale and such a strong strong smell of eggs. Beignets: honestly it looked like beignets, but it dint taste like one and god knows what it is, I wasn't expecting the beignets you get in new Orleans but nor this one either! Kouign amann: it's a stale sugar caramalized edged crossaint with absolutely no crispiness what so ever. Crobrios : this was decent, but refrigerator cold, and cream wasn't filled fully, definitely not a worth $5.50 worth. Pecan maple bun: same stale, cold crossaint bun with pecans, but was eatable! So go to a grocery store and pay 1/4th of what you pay here, warm it up and definitely tastes much much better than this place! Definitely don't recommend this place to anyone!

Vy T.

Yelp
First time I ~really~ tried macarons, and this place gave me a great impression of these cookies! Great price for even greater taste/quality. I love the packaging! The cookies were just the right texture and chew, not overly sweet, just right. My favorite flavors I've tried so far are funfetti, pistachio, and wild strawberry! Hoping to try more new flavors in the future! A must try! Will return soon!!

Yelp
I came in the late afternoon after stopping at taco deli so it was fairly quiet, just how I like it. The pastry display offered a few things, but clearly they sell out fast, so the earlier the better if you want more choices. I ordered 3 macarons and they were soft and creamy, absolutely Devine! I paid about $7 for the 3 macarons, 2 vanilla and 1 salted caramel. I have eaten macarons across the USA and these are by far the best ones I've had. The good news is I now have a place for great dessert, the bad news is that I am now spoiled. There is seating inside and outside and has a quiet and peaceful ambiance to it.

Shradha A.

Yelp
This location is their main kitchen. There's a lot of variety beyond macarons (of which there are many options too). On their regular menu, they have 6 types of croissants, several cakes sold by the slice, a few tarts (pies) and of course, beverages. I was surprised by the gluten-free options - hazelnut cake, scone, etc. I tried the gluten-free cranberry scone but their gluten-free flour has that after taste/ texture of the bitter sawdust that early gluten-free flours used to have but thankfully, the industry has since innovated to improve upon it so substantially that you often can't tell the difference between gluten-free and regular flour. Here, that difference still stands out loud and clear, unfortunately.

Paul L.

Yelp
Ordered from their website a chocolate cake and 6 crème puffs for pickup 4 days later. We paid through their site, set the time for pickup etc. My wife made this order for my birthday. When we arrived to pickup the items they had no idea about the order. I do not blame the girl working as I feel like she was in over her head. The place looked like it had been hit hard. The front cooler was broken so items were in containers with the container lids open. Texas is hot in summer and flies are all over. There is no helping it. But flies were landing on all the "fresh" food. Something we were taking in as the young lady was looking for our order. My husband sat down and put his arm in some sort of liquid on one of the tables. Everything was dirty. Again, it looked like this place had been busy and she was the only one there. She called two different people as it seemed the manager wasn't on site or answering the phone when called. Order was never made. No cake for his bday and Father's Day... refunded our money and that was that. They gave us a crème puff and eclair. Both didn't taste very fresh. We own two local businesses in the area, and would have been mortified with this type of mistake. I did not get that vibe from the person on the phone. Whoever owns this business does not care anymore about it. It is very evident. I have been to this business before, maybe a year or two ago, and I very much enjoyed it. Something has changed, they do not care.

Nanisi W.

Yelp
The service wanted to be good but it just wasn't. There was no one in there except for us and it took a very long time to get our coffee and pastries. (One of the coffees was the Vietnamese coffee which is premade) I'm not being a Karen, it literally took 20 minutes to get one latte and a Vietnamese and a few pastries. And then didn't even get all of the pastries we ordered. Can't recommend this place unfortunately.

Heather B.

Yelp
I enjoy the croissants--especially the pistachios ones. The chocolate ones are quite nice as well. The problem here is service. Every time I've come in, the employee behind the counter seems annoyed to be serving me. I want to ask, do you need to be somewhere else? They can at least pretend to give a damn about customers.

Elizabeth G.

Yelp
Depending on the time of day, this place has astonishing pastries and macaroons! If you come too late...poof...They have disappeared! This place could provide custom cakes as well as 6 packs of macaroons for a special event that can be used as favors. The surroundings are not fancy, but there are a couple of bistro tables out front. Inside is standing room for orders. The tasty treats are what folks come here for!

O B.

Yelp
Disappointing. We are french and were looking for some french desserts for a birthday... Saw photos online of a beautiful pasty case full of the classics (éclairs, millefeuilles etc..) and pastries. Went there on a Monday around 1pm, and it looked like they were closing. Empty pastry case with the light off, an assortment of stale looking croissants, and 4 flavors of macarons/ some of which were smashed and damaged in the case. Blasé staff, and cold/ uninviting atmosphere. We left with a few macarons since we had made the trip there, but definitely won't return.

Sonal G.

Yelp
I had high expectations out of this place because they apparently pride themselves in their macarons, but unfortunately that is also where they fall flat. I was hoping to find the one place in Austin with really good macarons, but I was sad to find very inconsistent, bready, bumpy macarons that did not express the French finesse that I was expecting. Having made macarons myself at home and having had them in Europe, I know it is a difficult thing to do to get them perfectly right, but it is unfortunate that they were just not done right here. A macaron should be crisp outside, smooth shells, chewy inside with a perfectly stiff inside cream that doesn't all come gooping out when you bite into it. Other desserts were also okay, but I expected more. They also forgot one of the pastries we ordered which was sad to find later on.

Grace G.

Yelp
I used to be a regular here and the food was good. Not great, but good. I ordered today and was SHOCKED by how bad the food has gotten. The macaroons were all stale. The beignets were even worse. The tasted like they were a week old. The lemon blueberry scone tasted and smelled very eggy. On the whole I would not recommend his place to my enemy. Very disappointing.

Angela C.

Yelp
I live in the neighborhood and I've been a customer for five years, but since the new owner took over this place has gotten worse and worse. Poor macaron selection, pastry selection has shrunk, decor changed for the worse (why would you spend money to make it worse???), they aren't even open posted hours all the time, and most importantly for me, the coffee. I love their espresso, but the last two times I came in and ordered four shots they gave me a double long shot and called it four shots. The first time I thought it was a mistake, but I asked about it the second time and the person said that her manager had told her that two long shots was the same as four regular shots. This is so not true. I'm sorry LP, but I'm looking for a new place to get my coffee.

Frances D.

Yelp
Avoid this bakery! New management is clueless on customer service. Had to wait over 15 minutes and left without getting anything due to system malfunctions. Owner offered no solution.

Kathy Z.

Yelp
I've tried several of the pastries here, and I've never been disappointed. The crobrio is my favorite. It's super easy to order online. They do practice social distancing and since the shop is small, only a few people are allowed to go inside at one time. I placed an order the night before and was able to quickly and easily pick up my order the next morning.

Joanna C.

Yelp
I've been frequenting La Patisserie for over 6 years, ever since my college days. I've honestly lost count how many times I have been here. La Patisserie holds a special place in my heart, as I spent many mornings and afternoons getting my sweet fix or needing some comfort. It always excites me to come in and take a peep at their display case and what's available. You can never go wrong with their macarons! The lavender, pistachio, and rose are such classics and my all time favorites. Their cream puffs, salted caramel eclair, and crobrio are all also incredible. Thanks La Patisserie for always being a source of yummy comfort for me all these years!

E. A.

Yelp
I pray this bakery returns to glory but ever since new owners and new management it's dog water at best. I really liked the old manager and the new ones seem to be the new Austin folk and I do not enjoy their lack of Texan hospitality. I also miss when the macarons were actually fresh what happened yall. Bring back the goated management!!! Absolutely distasteful

K U.

Yelp
I love la patisserie! I finally tried this place through the app "too good to go" and am so glad I did. I have always had my eye on it while swinging by tacodeli next door. I got an assortment of pastries and all were super delicious and very fresh. The cheddar croissant was amazing!

Anthony M.

Yelp
Who doesn't enjoy a nice piece of pastry in the morning? Whether you're in the mood for some cake or some macarons, you can find it all at La Patisserie, Austin's only authentic, from-scratch French pastry shop. With so much to choose from, I got a little bit of everything such as the: - Mint Chocolate Drip Cake (seasonal): Good tonality of richness, which has you wanting to take more bites. Not overbearing in sweetness and a good balance of chocolate and mint! - Cinnamon "CroBrio" (Croissant-Brioche Hybrid Donut filled with Vanilla Bean Pastry Cream): This one was really unique to me. I like the fusion of the two pastries in both the texture and flavor. I was hit with a surprise vanilla filling because originally I didn't know it was filled! So good though. - Orange, Honey, & Almond Bun (Seasonal): Think of this one always like a croissant. Interesting mix of sweet, tart, and nutty flavors and fun texture to bite into. - Blackberry Kouign-Amann (seasonal): This one was my favorite. Think of it as a denser version of the croissant, but filled with a blackberry jelly. - Toasted Almond Eclair: A classic! - 6 Pack Macarons (from left to right): Vanilla Bean x2, Pistachio, Bailey's Irish Cream, Mint Chip, & Lucky Charms. My favorite had to have been the Lucky Charms and that's because I'm a sucker for anything cereal. Holistically, they offer interesting flavors to choose from, so you can't go wrong with anything! All in all, you can tell how much work is put into these pastries. Not just visual or structural, but also in flavor. High quality ingredients and good balances of flavors all around. Nothing was overpowering in sweetness which was great. All in all, I was highly satisfied with what I got.

Yelp
I told my husband that I was anticipating a taste of France. He was jealous when I sent him the photo of the macaron in the box. Rose, honey lemon and pistachio were the flavors I picked. I started with the rose and found the flavor not fragrant and light. It was more over powering and almost astringent. I expected the texture to have a sort of crispness that I have grown fond of from other pâtisseries. Over all I found the macaron to be overly sweet. With that being said these macaron might be more geared to American tastes. They did not do it for me. I found them to be somewhat strange and lacking some of the attributes one would look for. I wanted a croissant but they were out. So I ordered a bun with orange. Honestly the description escapes me. It was really tasty the orange was candied and over all I liked it. I would have liked it more if the pastry was more lightly crisp and flaky. I will try this place again I might prefer the cakes.

Yelp
Always fresh, great service and delectable pastries. Really high quality coffee service as well! Recommend the Pistachio Latte, so yum. Has small bistro seating outside but pretty small inside.

Yelp
Loved the macaroons. Much better than the central market brand (sorry!). I have been to both locations and had great experiences at the small bakery. We have gone back three times in the past 3 weeks. Oops! Happy to support local businesses during covid.

Yelp
They had cakes day of. The chocolate noir cake was sooo good. Listen to them when they say to leave the cake out for awhile before eating. It softens up and was so moist and delicious. I also had their raspberry and pistachio cake and the raspberry was overpowering. I really want to find a cake that highlights pistachio. But still good. The staff is friendly but be aware, it is pricey.

Yelp
Lovely fresh pastries and they serve Stumptown coffee! I came here as part of TooGoodToGo, and will be excited to come back again. Large selection, so there are many things to try. Vegan and GF options as well.

Yelp
Go somewhere else!!! We have tried various food from this bakery since they opened in our neighborhood and are finally giving up. The croissants are the worst- dense and a strange flavor, not the traditional light, flaky and buttery. The cakes are not flavorful, the muffins can be very different sizes with soggy bottoms, among other complaints. The macarons are the only decent thing they make. We really wanted to like and support this bakery but not with the sub par quality of the food.

Yelp
The croissants - butter, chocolate, mini pistachio, and any seasonal ones are just excellent. The laminated layers of dough and butter are chewy and fluffy all at the same time. This is my happy place. Not to mention, the macarons which are impressive in their own right. Cardamom Honey Orange, toasted almond, and pistachio are a couple of my favorites.
