"La Pecora Bianca is The Smith of casual Italian restaurants—which is to say that it’s useful if you need a perfectly OK place to eat dinner. Any of their locations works for a solo pasta and wine experience, but the Midtown East one is especially convenient if you work in the area." - hannah albertine

"La Pecora Bianca is like an Italian version of The Smith - it’s never going to be a destination spot, but it’s a very useful fallback. The pastas are good, but we like the charcuterie and antipasti best (the creamy burrata with ramp pesto, in particular), and it’s very possible to make a full dinner out of shareable small plates, especially if you come with just one other person and sit at the long bar. Keep this in mind for just about any situation - whether you’re with clients, parents, friends, or a date." - Matt Tervooren

We really like the service here, very professional and friendly. The meatballs and pasta that we got were as good as we expected. The only letdown was the steak, the fries were good and generous but the steak was more medium/welldone (at both ends) rather than the medium rare that we asked for.

Google
The pastas were chewy and delicious and flavorful without being too overpowering. Highly recommend crispy brussel sprouts. The cauliflower appetizer was just mediocre. We asked for bread which was not great and cold. The tiramisu was delicious and huge! It could feed 5-6.

It was so good. Sever was kind and nice. Food taste was two thumbs up. But I felt like the food was coming out in a rush. Generally, I'm satisfied and I'm thinking of visiting here again. :)

We had a great experience! The food was exceptional, and the service was good. We were a large group, and everyone left happy and satisfied with their orders. Definitely recommend getting the tiramisu—it's a must-try!

10/10 food and service but we had to leave early because it felt like a SAUNA inside

My only reservation with this place is that the portions a little on the light side (especially for a bigger boy like myself). Make no mistake, the food itself is excellent. The arancini is a great appetizer although I'm left wanting more. Both the garganelli and bolognese are delicious, and made even more so with the addition of buratta - and all homemade pasta which is big points for me. I haven't had the dessert but I have no reason to believe it's not good. I don't think this place is overpriced because the quailty is there, however slightly bigger portion sizes would definitely make me feel like I'm getting more bang for my buck. All in all a solid choice for a nice dinner/date night. (Also my picture doesn't do the garganelli justice, but it is indeed excellent).

I love this spot! Great food, courteous and friendly staff. Very convenient location, perfect for a business lunch and a nice cozy dinner atmosphere. The interior is classy while the prices are reasonable. No need to make a reservation for lunch, but I'd recommend getting one for dinner. The bar area is nice and spacious in case you don't have a reservation and need a drink while you wait for a table. I love the bucatini and burrata and their salads are actually filling. Good wine selection too. They have a nice private dining room for rental with a very professional event coordination team.

Great food as always. A big fan of their Penne Alla Vodka and Tiramisu!

Yelp
I've dined at this location of La Pecora Bianca a few times. It's popular during the weekday during lunch as there are office buildings nearby. Like several other La Pecora Bianca locations, they have a nice lunch special. It's $30 for two courses. I'm making a note that I've dined for lunch and ordered the same items at several locations and I've found the food to be pretty consistent and the service to be very good. Ordered, 2 course lunch special: The roasted cauliflower appetizer- this is the best appetizer they serve in my opinion. The roasted cauliflower is tender and serve atop an aioli flavored with Calabrian chilis. What makes this dish standout is the addition of pickled raisins and pine nuts. The little crunch and sweetness adds a very nice touch. The cauliflower portion size has varied but overall it's been a nice size. Caesar salad with shrimp- I ordered this salad with the shrimp on the side. They gave me five shrimp, which was a pretty generous portion, although another location gave six shrimp. I recommend requesting that they bring the protein on a separate plate because that way the warm shrimp, chicken or salmon won't wilt the lettuce. The salad had breadcrumbs, cheese and a tasty and creamy dressing. I'd return to La Pecora Bianca for lunch. I enjoyed their offering and the vibe, service and decor lends to a positive dining experience.

Yelp
Very tasty! I am not from NYC, but my coworker took me here while I was in town. Based on my personal food preferences, I didn't fall in love with most items on the menu at first glance. The gramigna pasta was the item that was the closest to my personal taste and I was SO HAPPY with my selection. It's been a month since I was here, and I'm STILL thinking of this pasta. I have tried to recreate it at home and based on memory and can't get it right. I just recently looked it up online and found the restaurant has an instagram post with their recipe!! This specific cut of pasta paired with the sausage/broccolini is perfect. The mouth feel and taste is everything. I want to bring my BF here so he can have a taste, but for now, I'll try again and recreate it at home! The tiramisu was okay. Not the best I have had and was overwhelmingly big. Apparently it's tiramisu for 2, but it seems more like tiramisu for 4 in my opinion. It's too much cream/dairy for 2 people! I only rated this place a 4 and not a 5 because the tables are so close together and not spacious/intimate enough. But I guess that's just NYC....

Yelp
The food at this Italian restaurant is mediocre at best and definitely overpriced. It's more like the fast-food equivalent of Italian cuisine--uninspired and not worth the cost. The only redeeming factor is the décor, which is why I'm giving it 3 stars. Still, I wouldn't recommend it.

Yelp
Stopped by for the Restaurant week deal - a 2-course lunch for $30! If I have a craving for Italian food, the first place I'd think to visit is La Pecora Bianca. I'll admit, I haven't tried many Italian places in the city and LPB has a few locations across the city, so it's an easily accessible restaurant. I'd say it's a good place to take a group or friends visiting town. This day, I ordered the meatball app and the rigatoni pasta dish. The meatballs were so filling and had great flavor. I was stuffed by the time the rigatoni came out so I decided to take it home since I was full and was running short on time. It wasn't a big deal but service was a little slow, although they were friendly. The rigatoni was delicious as expected. I heard they're known for it. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the sauce complimented it well. The interior design is what people might call "Nancy Meyers inspired". Great space and full of natural light.

Yelp
La Pecora Bianca is my GO TO spot for take out. Their delivery is always amazing and tastes just as good as dining inside the restaurant. Their food is delicious and their service is super fast and everything is affordable! The whipped ricotta is my ABSOLUTE FAVORITE. It is mouth watering and the bread that comes with it pairs so well and is so perfectly seasoned. I always get the whipped ricotta no matter what. Their vodka rigatoni and garganelli pastas are so good too. The brussel sprouts look weird but taste amazing. The meatballs and broccolini can be skipped. I have ordered from here multiple times and definitely will continue to do so. I need to try more of their dishes, I love this place so much!

Becky C.

Yelp
Everything we ordered was really yummy. Brussel sprouts were maybe a tad too sweet for our liking but we still enjoyed it. Pasta was delicious. Our server was very sweet and attentive. We sat outside because I had my dog and she gave her a water bowl and some cheese. She made us feel very welcomed. We only sat outside but there was a lot of seating, our area was clean, and I love the color scheme of the restaurant.

Yelp
The food is good, not great. I get that it's supposed to represent simple Italian food but I really didn't feel like it lived up to the hype. I ordered a rigatoni and asked for protein, they offered a chicken breast piece on the side. The pasta was quite creamy and nice, the chicken, on the other hand, was extremely dry, bland and overcooked which ruined the experience of the pasta sadly. The tiramisu for 2 is like tiramisu for 5. It also felt very dense and heavy. Did not have the light, airy and fresh aspect I usually expect from a tiramisu. Unless you're in a big group that could share, I'd recommend skipping, you won't be missing out. Service was pretty nice, the waiter was sweet and gave some good recommendations on drinks and food. The restaurant itself has a very nice ambiance. Love the wall with Italian cookbooks on shelves.

Yelp
My husband and I came here with our 2 good friends for dinner. We made reservations since it gets really busy. It was super packed and loud. It was hard to hear one another talk cause of how close you're seated to other tables and the noise. Our server was attentive. I got the strawberry spritzer but I didn't like it. We got the zucchini fries and meatballs for appetizers which were good. I thought it was kind of silly that the 3 meatballs ($18) cost more than our cocktails ($17). We asked for bread but our server said that the only bread they have is the one that the meatballs come with but it was just 2 pieces of toast. The table next to us got a bowl of bread with olive oil so that was slightly confusing. For our entrees, I did the tagliatelle bolognese and my husband did the chicken parmesan. The bolognese wasn't bad but not the best. Also, there's only 2 single stall bathrooms so the lines were long and not much standing room. Overall, for how much it cost with the ambiance I probably wouldn't go back.

Yelp
I arrived around 5:15 pm on a Wednesday and sat at the bar for an early dinner. Service was cordial, good and it wasn't crowded as yet. I ordered a Woodford ($2.00 up-charge) Old Fashioned which ended up being $21 for a half full glass. For dinner, I ordered the Roasted Cauliflower appetizer and the Garganelli pasta and requested all to be served together. Service was prompt and food was delivered hot. The Cauliflower appetizer had good flavor and the vegetable was not overcooked. The Garganelli house made pasta was tasty and fresh. Both were smothered in oil, perhaps too much for my taste. Next time, if there is one, I would ask for less oil. The bill was presented by using the App Sunday. I scanned a code and the invoice popped up with tip suggestions. I selected 18% but as you can tell from the bill, it is more like 20% (19.58) and I was charged $.49 for using the App. $81.40 total for a solo meal. Lots of choices here in Mid-Town East for Italian and investigating other options will be fun.

Yelp
La Pecora Bianca is an Italian restaurant, and their Midtown East location is on 2nd Ave bet. 50th & 51st Street. We came here on Cinco De Mayo 2023 for dinner because there were long waiting times for places in the area that served Mexican cusiine. Although we accidentally stumbled upon La Pecora Bianca, we were pleasantly surprised and had a good experience. La Pecora Bianca has beautiful yet simple decor that includes the restaurant having lighting all throughout the place. The menu has pasta dishes, ameican dishes, salads, appetizers, etc. The burger was juicy, and the french fried were crispy. The Gramigna - curly pasta, house-made sausage, broccolini w/ chili flakes - was flavorful. We shared Olive Oil Cake for dessert, and it was light and amazingly delicious! We sat at the bar and enjoyed the delicious food along w/ their nice ambiance. and had excellent customer service. Having dinner here before continuing our Cinco de Mayo evening festivities was cool. It is on my list to return to La Pecora Bianca to try other dishes as well as to have more of their fabulous Olive Oil Cake! Website - lapecorabianca.com Instagram - @lapecorabianca Hours of Operation- Mon. - Wed. - 11:30am - 10pm Thurs. & Fri. - 11:30am - 10:30pm Sat. - 10am - 10:30pm Sun. - 10am - 9pm La Pecora Bianca also has locations in Soho, Bryant Park & the Upper East & Upper West Side.

Yelp
Incredible, fast and friendly service. Amazing fresh and authentic Italian food. Large selection of fantastic wines and desserts. Great ambience.

Sandra E.

Yelp
Terrible service. No one checks in. Drinks were super slow. Food came out cold. Won't be going back. Wish had a better experience.

Madison M.

Yelp
We loved the handmade pasta and burrata! Cocktails were also good. Our server was very nice. I do think that there are other really yummy pasta bars to try in the city!

Ceci C.

Yelp
My friend and I wanted to have brunch in a cute place, and decided to eat here! The inside is super nice and modern, and there was more than enough seating to go around. Just a quick tip, you can get a free cocktail when you order an entree for brunch! It's a solid deal!! I got the gramigna pasta, and it was so good. Their pastas are all housemade, and you can tell. I've never seen a pasta shape like this before! It went well with the lavender spritz, which was super cute and kinda funny looking with the long stem of lavender they speared through it. My friend got the eggs benedict, and enjoyed it as well! She cleaned her plate pretty quickly. We'll definitely be back!! Honestly, the free cocktail with each entree deal sealed the deal for me!

Laura B.

Yelp
The food is consistent and good but the UES location does not pick up the phone and it's impossible to get a delivery. The midtown location is much better.

Milo C.

Yelp
My server was so nice! I came here to meet a friend and got some pasta and a glass of wine. He recommended a good glass of red. The ambiance is warm and inviting and there's lots of room. Prices were okay but the service and food were great.

Maggie C.

Yelp
Had a great Sunday brunch with friends here! Everything from the food choices to the service to the atmosphere/decor of the restaurant was wonderful. We ordered the gramigna and meatballs to share for two, the pasta was perfectly al dente and the burrata was such a bonus. The gramigna was seasoned so well and I enjoyed the sausage chunks and broccolini pieces. The meatball and sauce were also delicious, fresh and perfect tanginess. Finally, we got the tiramisu to share among the four of us - we were pleasantly surprised by how ginormous the bowl was! Overall, I really enjoyed my time here and would check out other locations to try their menus/specialties.

Yelp
I just stopped by here last night for a very pleasant meal, had a great time overall. The place was absolutely packed at dinner time on a weeknight (around 7:45 pm), so it's clearly a popular spot in the area. Got to try a series of appetizers (Burrata, Brussel Sprouts, and fried calamari) - all of which very tasty. Would have been happy just dining on that alone. Someone ordered a bottle of "Il Sasso" red wine, which was phenomenal. I ordered their LPB Burger as my main and it was pretty solid; I read raving reviews online and wanted to try it, but it didn't quite live up to the hype. A decent burger, nothing I'd go out of my way to get again. More impressively, they served us a huge bowl of Tiramisu' for dessert - could have easily served 3-4 people with that alone. Probably some of the best Tiramisu' I've had outside of Italy. Service was attentive and polite, and the ambience is pretty neat. Overall they took good care of us and I'm happy I was invited out here. Next time I come I'd like to grab a place at the bar, a nice glass of wine and some more of those appetizers for sure.

Sue B.

Yelp
Gluten Free? Rejoice! I came in around 730 on a Wednesday. The place was packed inside and outside. Nice moody lighting for dinner. It is quite loud, so be prepared. I sat at the bar. The bartender gave me fantastic service. They offered me a taste of the wine (Sparkling Brut Rose) I inquired about and it was fantastic! I had seen on the website that gluten free pasta was available upon request. I asked the bartender if it was any good (in which case I'd order from a different category). They assured me it is made in house daily in one shape (a sort of gene lol) and that it is delicious. They are also gluten free, and eat it often. I ordered the tagliatelle with GF pasta and added burrata. I. Am. BLOWN. AWAY!!! It takes like some of the best house made pasta I've ever experienced -- not just GF, but ANY house made pasta. It's truly delicious and I'm beyond thrilled. Everything else about the delicious was fresh tasting and delectable, but I just can't get over how good the GF pasta is. RAVE.

Tom S.

Yelp
I remember seeing @ mironovanastasiia (ig handle) eating a pasta there. It looked so delicious I couldn't wait to try this place out. The meat was 5/10. Looks better than tastes :) the inside was packed. Overall nice ambiance. Will get a pasta next time

Betsy S.

Yelp
I always like this place though it is very noisy. We were 4 and our waiter was mostly helpful until the end - he copped a little attitude which I figured because he had too many tables. I ordered the fish which is always very good - there was pasta at the table and of course, drinks and wine! E didn't have dessert here and that was fine. This restaurant has several locations in NY - so we know what to expect. They do honor your reservation so that was a plus. Definitely make one as we were there on a Thursday night and it is a busy evening for dining! They do hav a lot of candies, and there is a Mediterranean vibe happening here! Very cool. I saw a lot jars of lemons and olives around! That's kind of cool. Check it out. A bit pricey but worth it.

Tessa S.

Yelp
The ambiance at night is very beautiful. My servers were attentive and made sure everything was just right. You can tell that the pasta is fresh and every dish is a good option. The tiramisu is so creamy, but it can definitely feed more than two people. I recommend coming for dinner rather than brunch.

Emily M.

Yelp
Celebrated my sisters 26th birthday here and had a very nice night. At first it's very loud walking in, not great for a large group, but the 5 of us were tucked into a room in the back where the noise was significantly less, which we liked. The food, specifically the made-in-house pasta, was absolutely delicious. It's hard to find Squid Ink Linguine and then for it to be a 10/10 was seriously special. The rigatoni vodka was perfect and we really enjoyed the drink selection. The restaurant let us bring a small birthday cake and we're very attentive to our time crunch trying to make the last Ferry back to Jersey. The service was a little slow, but in a nice relaxing European way that I wish we could have enjoyed more.

Amanda P.

Yelp
Met a friend for dinner the other night and we both ordered the tagliatelle bolognese. I added burrata to mine. Absolutely delicious! The sauce wasn't too acidic or too sweet and the homemade pasta was just delicious. Service was typical NYC service. I enjoyed the low key ambiance, it was easy for us to have a conversation and catch up. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area

Melinda H.

Yelp
Came here because a friend made reservations for a big party of 8 and it did not disappoint! All the pasta is homemade and everything was delicious. We ordered several appetizers to share. Roasted cauliflower/zucchini/calamari/meatballs: We ordered the above for appetizers to share and it was perfect! The cauliflower and zucchini were fried perfectly and seasoned very well. Calamari was fried perfectly as well. Highlight of this dish was the dipping sauces that accompanied with the app. Meatballs were yummy too. Came with two pieces of bread dipped in marina sauce. For pasta: Gramigna: this mushroom pasta was delicious! Pasta was curly and had a peppery buttery sauce. We added a burrata to this dish and it was so good! Rigatoni: this is a classic vodka pasta and was also delicious. Pasta was cooked perfectly and sauce paired well. Spaghetti: this was a Cacio e pepe dish and also prepared very well. I usually don't like how creamy this dish can sometimes be but i felt like this dish had the perfect amount of sauce/cream. Tiramisu: highlight of the meal was the tiramisu! It says it's for two but my table of 8 people shared it and it was perfect. Tiramisu was sooooo delicious and sweet. The sheep at the top made it so cute too! They have many locations in the city. We went to the one in midtown east. Restaurant was spacious and get airy which i liked. We came on a sat at 5pm with reservations. It quickly filled up! I would recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone!

Sydney B.

Yelp
Came here without reservations on a Saturday afternoon for brunch during a cold rainy day. The vibes hit different on a cold rainy day in a good way. The service was great. My waiter was friendly and the food service was quick. I recommend the ricotta app and add a burrata to your pasta!! Great place for affordable Italian food.

Craig B.

Yelp
Service and cuisine sensational Noise n/g needs accoustical ceiling tiles But I'd weather the noise to get their delicious food!

Jared O.

Yelp
First time visiting here from Los Angeles, just found it walking , a beautiful space , bright and welcoming , very attentive staff and a great vibe . I chose calimari and roasted egg plant both were tasty and delicious. This is a very nice restaurant and I give kudos to the management and staff for a wonderful visit .

Dhriti N.

Yelp
The place is definitely very well decorated and is a nice atmosphere for a celebratory dinner. The food however was not worth the price and mostly mediocre. The vodka pasta which I found to be raved about was mostly bland and lacked flavor. The roasted eggplant was my favorite dish we tried but it was still nothing exemplary. The servers were friendly but service wasn't the quickest. But if you do go, tiramisu is a must-try!!! It says serves two but easily serves 4 and is soooo yummy

Ruina Z.

Yelp
Great Italian food in a fun and trendy setting. I've been here once for dinner and once for brunch, and have thoroughly enjoyed both meals. It's stylishly bright during the day and romantically dim in the evening. The menu isn't expansive but has a nice selection of good dishes - from eggs benedict on the brunch menu to delicious tagliatelle. Their tiramisu is adorable (see picture) and a must-get for me! Service was always efficient and courteous.

Hilary O.

Yelp
Im just going to start out this review by saying I love pasta lol. I'm very happy I chose this location , it gives an upscale ambiance upon entrance with dim lights and candle lighting, perfect for evening reservations, birthday outings or a date night out . For appetizers, we got the cacio e pepe balls, and whipped ricotta . The cacio e pepe balls had so much flavor, initially thought they were pasta balls , but after one bite quickly realized it was just cheese and I was not mad at it one bit! Rating 9/10. The whipped ricotta with truffle honey was just so good I love pairing of ricotta and honey served with warm bread , it's so hard to mess that dish up . Rating 8/10 For entrees we ordered the linguine and Rigatoni . Both dishes came out extremely hot , as if just taken from the pot in the kitchen , I love fresh food . The linguine had a great taste , it was citrusy , full of flavor, one thing to mention, it does come with olives , which I did not know since it wasn't mentioned on the menu , but if I were to get it again, I'd get it without the olives , the shrimp in the dish was so so good though!! Rating 8/10 The rigatoni was classic , hearty, full of flavor and I preferred it over my linguine. 9/10 For drinks I had a french 75 and my boyfriend had an old fashioned, french 75 gets a 8.5/10. Overall, great dining experience, everything was great with the exception of the sneaky olives , I would definitely come back!

Gabby C.

Yelp
Love this place! Went the other night & ordered rigatoni vodka & chicken Milanese. Both were delicious. We also got the brussel sprouts (not pictured) which were insanely good. Last time I came here I got the cacio e Pepe which is also a favorite. Service is great, waiters are so nice and attentive ... food is even better.

Richard S.

Yelp
Our son used to live in Manhattan and now lives in Brooklyn picked La Pecora Bianca because it was near our hotel and he had been here numerous times previously. For starters we chose the Local Burrata with cherry tomatoes, basil pesto, and country toast, good choice. For mains, my wife selected the Scallops with summer squash, pine nuts, capers, golden raisins. She really enjoyed it. I opted for the Linguine Puttanesca with squid ink pasta, shrimp, and chili. Bursting with loads of flavors. All their pastas are made inhouse. We also had the Brussels Sprouts with rosemary honey, lemon, and chili flakes, great side dish. I truly recommend La Pecora Bianca with 3 locations in Manhattan for a memorable dining experience.

Stefan P.

Yelp
Very good Polpette (meatballs) and also Spaghetti An Italian restaurant can often be judged by its plain red sauce spaghetti, and this place delivered a very good tomato sauce! Also to be noted was the very tasty bread with a crunchy crust! I ate at the bar and had a great convo with the knowledgeable Rafael! Update: my next meal was Spaghetti Bolognese which they kindly made for me (I didn't want papardelle) The sauce was amazing but I caution you, VERY RICH! Get ready for a food COMA!

Linda L.

Yelp
Very very good italian food - fresh, yummy and beautiful room / vibe... There is even a pretty private room in the back , I think K Pop/ drama movie stars had reserved it the night we were there - they arrived in 2 blacked- out , luxury Sprinter vans. Great service from our lovely and kind waiter : Alex !!!!! Highly recommend.

Emily L.

Yelp
Love, love, love the pasta here! They make all of their pastas in house and it definitely taste like it. We started with the calamari and fried zucchini, and ordered the tagliatelle, the linguine with clams, and the branzino for entrees. I would highly recommend everything. The pasta is seasoned perfectly with the right balance of sauce to pasta and the all the right flavors. Must order- zucchini, tagliatelle, and tiramisu. Onto the desert which is its own story. The tiramisu "for 2" fed all six of us with more to spare. They obviously know how huge it is and expect there to be leftovers as it is served in a plastic container and they simply bring out a lid for you to take it to go. It's the cutest as it comes with a sheep design with the chocolate powder on top due to the restaurant's name translation into "white sheep". We also had the olive oil cake, some sorbet, and some gelato which were all delicious. however, if you only have room for one, get the tiramisu. The service was pretty solid overall and the atmosphere was nice. We actually had two big groups and were hoping to be sat next to each other (both booths next to us were wrapping up) but they didn't even let us get the request out which was a bit of a bummer. They were a bit slow with water refills (the bottle, not just the glasses).

Leyla A.

Yelp
Superb service at this location! Wonderful and pleasant staff ready to assist you right away! Our waiter made our experience amazing with his service and recommendations. Whipped ricotta is the best! Pasta was great too and love their selection of wine! I was able to find a reservation for outdoor for Friday easily. They have a lot of tables so easy to get seated as a walk in too.

Tonya H.

Yelp
Overall great experience. Bestie and I shared a few dishes to include the meatballs l, brussel sprouts, pasta with mushrooms (delicious!!!) And the kale salad. The pasta was very garlic forward in which I'm a fan! Customer service was on point and prices are what you would expect for the area. Not able to take pics due to lighting outside. But if ur on the fence, don't be and walk on in:)

Sasha E.

Yelp
I had lunch here with a friend on Wednesday. It wasn't super busy, approximately half the tables were full. Service was great and the waiter checked on us frequently. While the menu appears to be limited, the options are fantastic. I don't think we tried anything we didn't like. The star of the show was definitely the campanelle. Highly recommend you try it if you haven't already had it. Coming in a close second is the vodka tagliatelle pasta. The portion sizes are decent and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of food. The space feels clean and open. It's very updated, fresh, and has lots of natural light. I am sure that this would also be a great place to go for dinner. Based on the tables, they should be able to accommodate both big and small groups.

Leona G.

Yelp
Excellent food and service was amazing! Our waiter Agustin was very professional and well mannered. will definitely be back again!

Joanne W.

Yelp
Everything about the place was wonderful! The drinks, the apps, the entrees and the service. We were a party of 7 including 2 out of towners and everyone enjoyed their meals. Some of us had pasta others had chicken Milanese. Our server was excellent! I asked for a slight addition to my meal and he accompanied it perfectly! The restaurant was packed but we were not rushed at all!!

Great solid Italian option in the area. You really can't go wrong with any of the items on the menu. I tried the appetizer special (spicy stuffed arancini), and the gramigna pasta. Flavorful dishes with decent portion sizes, and friendly staff!

Yelp
The food here is good, but I think you can find better food of the same style elsewhere, alongside better service and vibes. The waiters here are typically inattentive and I feel like the wait time is just a little bit longer than it should be. The prices here are mid-range, so I never expect too much, but it would be nice if the service was better. I like their pasta and appetizers. They're good, but not great. Try not to get seated in the back/basement, they'll forget about you

Yelp
The food was lovely. The ambiance pleasing (Note: I was told by my companion it is usually much more crowded; it was Passover.) The service slow. Took some time for our waitress to ask if we wanted a cocktail. When she brought asked if we were ready to order...not yet. But when we were ready she was nowhere in sight. The meal continued apace.

Yelp
Words can't even fathom to begin how much I love La Pecora Bianca. Hands down one of the best Italian restaurants I've had in NYC, ever. The champagne we ordered might have helped with the enjoyment but I can't wait to come back here and try one of their wines! Roasted cauliflower- Delicious, and had a yummy sauce. Highly recommend. Rigatoni with burrata - Phenomenal, perfection, delicious flavors. Must order. The special we also had was the tagliatelle with truffle slices, and this might have been better than the rigatoni. It was smooth, flavorful and 35 dollars worth of bliss. I hope they add this to their regular menu. For dessert, we ordered the olive oil cake. It came with homemade vanilla cream and apple compote, ugh so delicious I still have dreams about this cake. The cake was perfect, every bite was incredibly moist. One of my favorite dinners to date in NYC, La Pecora Bianca is a must-try!

Yelp
Delicious food, kind, pleasant staff, & a cozy atmosphere. The spicy limoncello margarita was sooo good, as was all the food. This place is close to my apartment and I've also been for brunch before. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
Came here for lunch with little to no expectations, considering the average reviews. It is one of their many locations scattered throughout the city, this one is in turtle bay and mid-priced. The crowd is a mix of diplomats and embassy folks (the UN is close by as are many foreign embassies) , a handful of wealthy-ish ladies who brunch on weekdays and some corporate types who work at Midtown- Park Avenue. I came here armed with reservations which is unnecessary. Atleast on a weekday. The food was surprisingly good even though we didn't get anything other than two entrees (we weren't very hungry). We also got a Chardonnay and a vodka drink off the menu. We got the branzino and the Campanelle pasta. The campanelle was earthy with mushrooms, garlic topped off with Arugula pesto. The branzino was good too, could have used a bit more seasoning but it was light and flaky on a bed of arugula, capers and green olive salsa. The service was great, the wait staff was very kind and accommodating. My only gripe was that my Chardonnay pour was disappointing for $17. Not like I was expecting it to be a lot but I felt shafted. I'll be back for the Campanelle and other pasta dishes as they all looked promising.

Yelp
Waitress was a doll, however it took over an hour to get my pasta. I was really disappointed with the whole meal, I had to ask for bread when I saw other people being served it near me, I ordered a Caesar salad where it wasn't even chopped. I got the new shrimp pasta and it was really gross and ended up making me sick later that night. There was barely any shrimp and were undercooked, the entire thing was drenched in lemon juice and too cheesy. Really not good at all as it later made me sick...

Yelp
Thank god for La Pecora Bianca in the neighborhood. It's a stylish bright spot that could be a casual hang out for Italian fare or go later for a more romantic vibe. It is on the pricer side but delicious indeed. Apps & Salads are around $17, Pasta dishes $19-$25, mains $24-$36, lowest price being the burger/fries. For brunch, apps/pasta are on the menu along with typical brunch fare from egg dishes to pancakes. No kids food options but they do have high chairs. I appreciate the friendly atmosphere and overall great experiences I'd had La Pecora Bianca.
