"La Petite Bretagne makes few concessions to its London locale: this is a traditional outfit, serving a solid selection of French crêpes and galettes filled with the likes of duck confit and Raclette cheese. For a belt-busting finale, order the Belle Hélène: vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, pear, chocolate and almonds. Holy crêpe." - Emma Hughes, James Hansen

Was so glad to find this french crepe restaurant that’s still open 7pm on a Sunday when I was craving for real desserts. We ordered two sweet crepes: one with caramelised apple and vanilla ice cream and the other with dark chocolate sauce, pear and fresh cream. Both crepes were delicious and exactly what I wanted. Coffee was nice too, everything was reasonably priced and the staffs were so friendly and attentive. This will be my go-to french crepe restaurant in the area. We will be back again!

My favourite crêpe place in London! Feel like going back to France. Their savoury and sweet crepe are so good and the price is reasonable, highly recommend this authentic French crepe.

Delicious galettes and crepes made with quality and fresh ingredients. A real taste of France in London! Affordable prices, great service with a friendly atmosphere. I’ll be back!

Little gem of a creperie round the corner from the Lyric Hammersmith Theatre. Good range of delicious savoury galettes, cups of Breton cider, quick friendly service on a Saturday night.

Been several times as I park nearby. Has a real authentic feel - tight space and great atmosphere. The crepes and service with a smile are 10/10 - coffee is great. We stopped on a Sunday morning and it was nearly full but when we passed it again around 1400 it was full. Would go again.

It’s been quite a while since my previous visit so I thought I’d go again. As with my previous experience, staff always had a lovely welcoming smile and were polite to all the customers. The prices have gone up since my last visit, but this is the same everywhere. I went shortly after they opened. It was not busy but the ambiance was good as they had some music playing softly in the background. The staff came to my table to take my order and asked if I had any dietary restrictions. There are vegetarian options available on the menu also. They also have daily specials that are written on little blackboards and set on each table. I ordered a Complète and a cappuccino. It did not take very long before everything was served. The galette was made perfectly. The texture was soft and combined with the ingredients of the Complète, the flavour was spot on. Every bite was just so perfect and satisfying all the way to the very last bite. After I finished eating, the staff came to remove my plate and offered to show me the dessert menu. I ordered the Nutella and Banana. Again, the crêpe was made very well, it was soft and delicate with a perfect amount of bananas and nutella drizzled all over the top. It did not take very long to finish as it was so tasty. I paid at the counter but you can also ask them to give you the bill at your table. Cash and credit card are accepted for payment. They charge a 12.5% service charge on your bill. When you pay they give you a free toffee which is quite nice. I’m already looking forward to my next visit. If it’s your first time there, there give you a loyalty card to collect stamps. You get one stamp for every crêpe you order and when you collect all 9 stamps, your 10th crêpe is complimentary. The opening hours shown on the card and the menu 8am - 10pm are incorrect. On the door, it says 10am - 10pm and the kitchen closes at 9:30pm.

After fond memories of several visits to La Petite Bretagne pre covid, aka a few years back, I eagerly returned when visiting London. However, my recent experience left me somewhat disappointed. Upon entering, the charming ambiance remained unchanged, with the aroma of freshly made crepes wafting through the air. Excitedly perusing the menu, I ordered my favourite, a classic ham, cheese and egg crepe, accompanied by a decadent jam-filled crepe for dessert. Unfortunately, the service fell short of my expectations this time. The once attentive and friendly staff seemed preoccupied and inattentive. It took longer than usual for our order to be taken, and even longer for the food to arrive. When our crepes finally arrived, they lacked the finesse and flavour I remembered. However, by no means not enjoyable. The jam crepe, once a divine indulgence, tasted disappointingly bland, lacking the richness it used to have. Overall, while La Petite Bretagne still holds a special place in my heart for its past excellence, this recent visit left me yearning for the outstanding quality and service of years gone by. Perhaps it's a case of resting on laurels rather than maintaining standards, but I hope they can recapture their former glory in the future. I would however still recommend.

A great discovery! Just oposite Hammersmith and City tube station, there is this cute French crepe place. I went at around midday and I had the place for myself but in 20 min, the place was really full! They have take away option, which is great! It’s a small restaurant but great option for a brunch, office lunch or treat yourself. Service was top notch, super friendly and chatty staff, very helpful, always with a smile in the face. I had the Complete savoury crepe (ham, cheese and egg), and a Nutella crepe as dessert and there were incredible. I’ll be back!

Yelp
We were looking for something different for a gluten free breakfast and we're lucky to find this restaurant. My wife had a crepe with Emmental cheese, ham and spinach and I had the Fruity Sweet crepe gluten free with strawberries, raspberries and banana. Both were large and delicious. Service was great, friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is cute.

Sarah B.

Yelp
What's there to say really? They do a solid crepe. Family favourite is currently the veggie!

Jeff C.

Yelp
Great food gluten free options and served made to order. Didn't expect to find a gem so close.

Yelp
Our tour guide dropped us off in the area and we were looking for a place to eat. We didn't want to venture too far from the Tube entrance. I noticed this crepe shop from across the street and close enough to the Tube and I was curious. We walked over to check out the menu and decided to stay for lunch. The savory crepes were reasonably priced starting at £8 to £11, but the duck crepe costs a bit more and the sweet crepes were from £4 to £6. They also offer dessert waffles, small salads and wine/beer/cider by the glass. Our server told us that they did not receive the order today and so they may not have all the ingredients, depending on the crepe ordered (honesty goes a long way!!), but she did say she could substitute ingredients (smoked ham in lieu of regular ham). We ordered the traditional, raclette, alsacienne crepes, plus a nutella crepe for dessert. They had a menu special of a savory & a sweet crepe with a beverage for £14-that was a good deal. Each of the crepes were unbelievably delicious...I have not eaten such a delicious crepe in the U.S., not even close. The crepes were enormous by my standard and seemed over filled and bursting with ingredients. It was so large that I had difficulty finishing....such a waste, but I did the best I could. The flavor was perfect--I didn't need to add anything. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! I wish I wasn't here on such a short stay, otherwise I would definitely return. It's a small cute little shop, seating for maybe 20 people. The crepes are made in the front of the window, you could watch, if you had the desire. If you don't come here for the crepes, come here to relax and have a small salad and/or latte or cappuccino. What are you waiting for? Food: 5 Ambience: 5 Cleanliness: 5 Staff/Service: 5

Yelp
Really tasty French Crepes, freshly made, the little place is always packed with people.

Yelp
I am hardly a connoisseur of french cuisine - this needs to be stated up front. Having visited La Petite Bretagne for breakfast today I am really eager to get to know it better! The crepe (or perhaps more accurately Galette) I ordered was a savoury L'Anglaise featuring Stilton Cheese, Apple, Walnut and Ham neatly wrapped in a buckwheat pancake. The combination of salty cheese and walnuts with a hint of apple sweetness works like a charm. A most satisfying experience. I certainly will be back!

Yelp
I love this little crepe shop so much. It's quaint, cute, and very French! There isn't much space inside so it can get crowded fairly quickly but we've never had to wait. I've had the Savoyarde and Tartiflette crepes, and I would recommend both! Cheesy, meaty, and savory... What more could you want?! Also if you're worried about whether a crepe will satisfy your hunger? Don't be! The savory crepes are pretty big so you can rest assured... Otherwise there is a good selection of sweet crepes to choose from! Only reason I knocked off one star is because they didn't have waffles or coffee because both machines were broken. I could've spared the waffles, but the coffee was the last straw (or last star I should say...!)

Alicia Y.

Yelp
Nice and quiet little cafe. They've got a good variety of savory and sweet crepes to choose from. Portion is big and very filling, I was all crepe-D out would have gone for their sweet crepe but maybe next time They have a good savory + sweet crepe + one drink deal for £12.95. It's definitely enough for two unless you're not the kind to share

Jessica S.

Yelp
Cute and small crepe place. It's a very nice place just outside of Hammersmith Underground Station. The interior is beautiful and the staff is very nice. Small pictures are on the wall and you can see the cooks making the crepes. It's very homely and you feel welcome immediately. There is a large variety of sweet and savory crepes. My friend ate a savory one (ham, lettuce and mustard) I ate a sweet one (white chocolate and raspberries) and we were both delighted by how great it tasted. The prices were a little high, but it's London so you can't always expect to get a bargain. If you want to try something different. Something you might not necessarily get everywhere and something that's enough for dinner, you can go there. It's filling and very tasty. I would highly recommend it.

Yelp
As other reviews have said, it's a small place with weird acoustics and therefore loud. Food-wise, there's an offer for £12.95 or £15.95 for 2 crêpes and a drink. After we ordered, we were told there was no crème fraiche. We asked if we could replace the crème fraiche with something else and they didn't seem bothered so we got extra cheese instead. The crêpes took longer than expected to arrive, but were hot, decent in portion size and tasted good. The dressing on the iceberg lettuce "salad" was horrible and mustardy though. The sweet crêpes were poor and represent poor value for money too compared to the savoury ones. Glad they came as part of the deal. Different ice-cream as advertised, tinned fruit, raw apples and bland. Drinks wise, the coffee was rubbish, poorly made and in quality. The apple and raspberry juice was from a bottle, just plonked on the table, not shook, not open. No offer of a glass so we had to use the glasses on the table. Plates took ages to be cleared away and there was no communication about payment so we left our plates at the table and paid at the counter. Overall, the vibe is good and the savoury pancakes delicious but the service was poor and I'm not sure I'd return.

Yelp
This is a charming cafe near the station and not far from where we stayed during our recent trip to London. I was walking past it one morning and saw the sign that you get a complimentary hot beverage with a crepe during breakfast hours so I decided to have my breakfast here. They had wifi so I was also able to check emails while waiting. I ordered the speculoos crepe with a cappuccino and enjoyed it while reading my book. Their savory crepes looked delicious as well and I wouldn't mind going back next time.

Yelp
Myself and my husband stumbled upon this little gem on our last morning in London. A very cute little breakfast spot with delicious food, friendly staff and more than a little je ne sais quoi! Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Quick glance: + authentic Brittany crepe + set menu available + takeaway or eat in + friendly staff Full review: My French colleague brought me here for lunch, and I can imagine this is where people from Brittany go if they are hankering after crepes like they have it back home.If you can't decide between sweet or savoury crepes, why not have both as part of their set menu! And if crepe isn't your thing, you could go for waffles (but why?!). Wash it down with fresh juice, a coffee, or maybe a beer. The choice is yours.

Cassondra W.

Yelp
Yummy beautiful crepes. The cappachino was also wonderful I was tempted to add gingerbread flavor to it. It is order at counter service but they bring you food to you cozy table. They also do Togo coffee for the person on the go. Would recommend a visit if you are in the area!

Christopher T.

Yelp
Delicious crepes, and delightful service! A bright way to begin our day :) I especially recommend the Nutella/banana crepe, and the americano was perfect.

Alex G.

Yelp
The best crepe that I had in Europe. Buckwheat crepe, potatoes, creme, goat cheese and mushrooms.

Yelp
Perfect location with window view, great food, large size coffees and overall goodness!

Yelp
I'd wanted to go in here for ages so one morning I took my boyfriend along for breakfast. Luckily it was empty when we went in because there is only seating for about 10 parties. Very cosy and atmospheric inside and the staff are French which adds to the experience. A huge choice of crepes on offer, both sweet and savory, so it took us ages to choose! I went for feta spinach tomato and pesto while my boyfriend chose bacon cheese and egg. Both very tasty, but with 2 drinks it came to £23 which I thought was overpriced for breakfast. The crepes were tasty and filling and I do want to go back to try another flavour. It started to get busy around 11.30 so I guess it picks up then and seating would be an issue. Cute place, but small and pricey.

Azmeena N.

Yelp
HIGHLYY RECOMMEND customers to visit. Absolutely love this cute crepe shop. Great tasting crepes and waffles.

Diana P.

Yelp
Dry crepes, no space to move or sit comfortably (ended up sitting at a long, crammed table with perfect strangers). Definitely not a fan. Won't go back a second time.

Richard K.

Yelp
Lovely looking place, they do a great takeaway and have a nice area for seating. The crepes themselves are really nice. The buckwheat mix they use produces satisfyingly thick crepes and the fillings are a nice selection of simple, fresh options. The chevre with ham and mango chutney is really tasty. More importantly their Kouign Amann are absolutely delicious, at £2.90 a go they aren't cheap and there's enough butter in one to make me seriously concerned for my arteries but they make them fresh and they're fabulous. Last time I was there I managed to get one fresh from the ramekin before they were even boxed. A great place for lunch and their sweet crepes are a really nice occasional treat.

Chloe W.

Yelp
Really delicious authentic French crepes. The owner is french and great. Staff are friendly and it's got a chilled vibe to it that makes it perfect for a quiet lunch with friends where you can talk. Also great for a yummy afternoon snack either to take away or stay in with a nice cuppa on a cold day!

Kirsty R.

Yelp
A really lovely place - the crepes were delicious and good value, and the service really lovely. We were in a bit of a rush, and the staff were brilliant at making sure we made our show in time! Definitely book - there aren't very many tables so it gets full up quickly. I'll definitely be back!

Mari T.

Yelp
Very cozy place, friendly staffs and very tasty crepes! I had banana & Nutella and added strawberries...perfect for late night snack after watching the show at apollos. Will definitely go back:)

Sant K.

Yelp
Simply the best - uber friendly staff (friendly staff are as important than good food) delicious crepe - salted caramel with ice cream - A must eat and be destination for all that's go through Hammersmith

Omar A.

Yelp
Not really experienced with creps but enjoyed this very much would come again I enjoy savory food vs sweet so having something besides nuttela was great

Matt B.

Yelp
A cute little crepe cafe situated in the middle of Hammersmith. They offer sweet and savoury options. I tried the salted caramel crepe, and was not disappointed. It was so tasty, and if my waist line wasn't already expanding from many meals out, I would have gone back for seconds. They offer a meal deal of 2 crepes (one sweet and one savoury) at reduced price. The staff are all really lovely too. Definitely a winner, deserves numerous visits.

Chris D.

Yelp
Very Good crepes but expensive and always very hot in it. You can also buy products like kouignhaman but it is very expensive too! I love crepe, would be my favorite place if it was a little but less expensive, that is why i am giving only 3 stars!

M. J.

Yelp
Very cosy and enjoyable place. Arrive early to secure seats as the place is small. Savoury crepes are good and filling. Service is quick. Decor is cute. I work nearby and that is perfect for a quick sit-down lunch, but unfortunately I don't go often anymore because you exit smelling like you've sat in a kitchen...
