"There are several good reasons to make a special trip to this winery, not least that its sauvignon, pinot noir and shiraz regularly win major awards. The most obvious, however, hits you as soon as you walk through the restaurant and onto the sunbaked lawn, with its extraordinary view out over the beautiful valley of Franschhoek. Take a tour with the vineyard’s owner, John, who will narrate the story of the farm (it burned down in 1984) and his relationship with the vines. Then settle down on the lawn, sip a glass of wine, and thank the lucky stars that brought you here."
||We arrived to a warm welcome, greeted with a glass of champagne and introduced to the lovely team. We were then escorted to our rooms and given a tour of the beautiful property. Our room, called Foufi, was stunning – everything from the coffee and tea station to the minibar was complimentary. We were also delighted to find a lovely bottle of Shiraz, generously gifted by La Petite Ferme.||||Dinner was absolutely exceptional – every dish was to die for – and the service was, as always, impeccable. The views were breathtaking, and breakfast the next morning was equally impressive. A truly memorable and luxurious stay!||

We had the honour to celebrate a wonderfull weekend at La Petite Ferme last weekend in Franschhoek. From the first step into the Hotel we felt very warm welcome and taken care of. The two nights stay was just perfect. every staff member was polite, looking at details and made us feel special. Our room was a dream. Even in the room everything was set up perfectly. We only can say thank you "La Petite Ferme" for this experience. The Dinner experience on friday night was also special with set up and how the staff did take care on us. concerning quality of the food there is space to improve. Breakfast was an experience by its own. If we could we would just sit forever and enjoy. Wine tasting: highly motivated presenter with lots of knowledge and patience on what she is doing. we really enjoyed it. So all in all it was a perfect weekend. thank you very much

If you are looking for luxury and privacy in the beautiful village of Franschhoek, La Petite Ferme is the place. We had a spacious suite (Africa) with it's own plunge pool and panoramic views of the Franschhoek valley below. Their restaurant is also top notch with the best fillet mignon I have ever had. Service was excellent at both dinner and breakfast. Loved the place and would love to come back. Oh and they offer tea and cake int he afternoon and also wine tasting right there!

Check in was smooth. The different rooms have different names named after people/ pets etc in the owners past. Very spacious although the room that my daughter stayed in as open plan - fine for a single person- but sharing that room with a partner will be awkward to say the least. |There are 2 swimming pools.||Breakfast was good and they quite happy to get you combinations that are not on the menu. ||Supper as good although if you vegetarian or halaal your options are quite limited. Chef Lance was kind enough to make us an excellent Seafood platter the second night. ||Sleep quality was good. ||Easy 3 min drive or 7 min cycle into Franschhoek main road. Bit of a climb up the hill coming back.

Levi is a fantastic host who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. He went out of his way to ensure we had the perfect spot to enjoy our drinks, offering great recommendations for both drinks and bites while sharing wonderful stories about the farm.
Our three-course dinner was a true delight—both visually stunning and incredibly flavorful. Every dish was crafted with care, and the combination of flavors was simply outstanding. The wines are great. A truly memorable experience!
The view while having diner is truly stunning. Make sure you opt for a reservation.

La Petite was the experience that I didn't know I needed! The panoramic landscape was stunning and really helped to make the stay very peaceful. The wine tasting event was lovely and breakfast was my favorite meal of the day. The salmon sandwich is probably the best I've ever had. I wish I could have stayed longer because the property really is fantastic.

We celebrated the 60th birthday of my mother here with the Chef’s Table Experience dinner. It started with a glass of bubbles in the beautiful garden of the restaurant. You have a magnificent view on the Franschhoek Valley, incredible! The dinner is a truly lovely experience with chef Peters. It offers you a private experience where the chef comes and explains all his dishes to your table. He makes time for a chat & he is truly passionate about the food he brings to the table. Dishes were incredible (& large portions!), so you will not go home hungry. All the staff is very kind & they treat you like you are the VIPS. I would highly recommend this restaurant & especially the Chef’s Table Experience.

Beautiful! We stayed two nights in a suite overlooking the vineyard. Fireplace, private pool (although too cold for that) and amazing views. The service was outstanding. We only did room service for the “cake of the day” - delicious. Ate in the restaurant for all our meals. Food was wonderful and the portions VERY generous. Our favorite was the sea bass and corn-potato soup. Avron, the front of house manager in the restaurant bent over backwards to provide outstanding service. We ended our stay with a wine-tasting. Heinrich did an amazing job. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. His priority was to cater to the guest. We didn’t get to spend much time in town as it was pouring rain- but if you can visit Franschoek, I would highly recommend this lovely boutique hotel.
