Canadian Doughnut Chain BeaverTails Opens Metro Detroit Food Truck | Eater Detroit

"A limited-run, cash-only ice cream stand has set up shop at La Pita and operates from 11 p.m. to 3 a.m. during Ramadan, serving Instagram-styled bubble-waffle cones like the Unicorn Dream — ice cream scooped into a bubble waffle with unicorn candy toppings — the Around the Campfire with a chocolate bubble waffle, ice cream, and toasted marshmallow toppings, and even a cone topped with a cotton candy cloud." - Brenna Houck

My wife and I just had dinner here. This place is fantastic. The food is unbelievably great. I had the lamb chops medium rare and they were absolutely fantastic. Monica was our server and she did great work. She was very attentive and had the food right out to us. She could not have been better. I cannot recommend this place enough.

This is one of our family’s favorite places in Dearborn. Last night my husband and I had a little date since it was such a mild October evening. We enjoyed sitting on the patio and eating our favorite house Specialty chicken Shawarma with hummus, steamed vegetables and roasted potatoes. You can also have it with rice. It comes with soup or salad and two side dish choices. You also get a choice of 3 different types of salad. We chose Fattoush. Mmm Since I am gluten-free and my husband is low-carb Deena, our server was very accommodating when she offered to bring sliced cucumbers to dip in the hummus rather than a basket of pita bread. She had the right balance between checking on us enough, but not too much. Also the atmosphere while classy ( inside) is down to earth enough to be family friendly. The table next to ours had a group of youngsters who seemed to be enjoying themselves. Even though it seems expensive it is high quality with very generous portions. We split one meal and were satisfied. It was just the right amount of food for us! Thank you La Pita.

The service was fantastic. The food was absolutely delicious. We had a side of garlic and hummus with the fresh bread. Their bread is so good the chicken shawarma sandwich was perfect Our server was very attentive and anticipated OU needs. Highly recommend.

Fresh kebabs. The kibbeh was delicious. Hummus was good consistency and flavor. Food comes out quick. Recommend if in Dearborn.

The environment, food and service is never disappointing. The restaurant manager Mr. Dbouk helped me plan a small surprise family gathering and it was amazing! Thank you

It's worth going for the hot pita bread alone! All the classic Lebanese dishes are available, including vegetarian and vegan options. The fruit smoothies were fresh and flavorful. We tried the carrot/honey and the apple juice. Both the salad and garlic sauce were bursting with flavor and a bit addictive. The entrees were excellent, and the portions were generous. Our only criticism is that the sandwiches (wraps) were a bit smaller than expected and somewhat dry. Overall, La Pita is a solid choice and one of the better options in the area.

Always great Hummus and Shawarma. I live outside MI now, but La Pita is one of my go-to places for good Middle Eastern whenever I come back to the area. Also, our server, Monica, was wonderful and kept us well stocked with drinks, food and sarcastic humor. Overall great restaurant and great service

my $14 appetizer beef grape leaves were as small as the lemon slice they came with and somehow thinner in width, only 6 grape leaves about 2 inches long at most. very disappointing and not filling, had to gorge myself on pita and garlic sauce to make up for it. total rip off imo definitely not enough to be considered an appetizer, which is meant to be a shareable dish, definitely should've been filling enough on its own and i've had bigger better actual lamb grape leaves for much less. not worth it!!
