Had a wonderful experience. Food was delicious. Many healthy options available and some delicious pizza for sure! Maddie, our server, was so kind and took her time to explain the menu and best seller dishes. Atmosphere was nice also. Will definitely be back.

This use to be my favorite pizza restaurant. But I went today ( haven't been in a few months) and the spinach dip was good, they have recently started charging move as it is now in a smaller container. Then the pizza was terrible. It was served to us at best warm. And cheese didn't even cover all of it. And we were the second couple of the day to enter the restaurant at opening. In the past the pizza is always piping hot with yummy stringy cheese.. not the case at all. Prices have gone up and quality has went down tremendously. When I voiced my concern to our waitress about less cheese and it being only warm she was like I know.. ownership changed a few years ago.. and we were like, no, just a few months ago it was delicious. She said she apologized and that was about it. We won't be back. I realize that sometimes everyone has a bad day including restaurants but there wasn't an excuse. WE WERE LITERALLY there at almost opening time with only 1 couple there in the restaurant besides us. They were VERY STINGY with cheese and Ive never had to ask for extra cheese. We will now be on the search for a new pizza restaurant . This is a photo of the pizza when it arrived at Table. Adding to the response to their response. The spinach dip use to be a deep bowl just 6 months ago. Now's it's a 3" ish small dish . So yes, it has definitely changed to a smaller size.. and I'd love to hear your excuse as to why the pizza quality has changed; way less cheese that doesn't even cover the entire pizza and somewhat over cooked. . Yikes. Bad for business to be inconsistent. Maybe you don't have a great team of cookers or you have decided to put less cheese, or maybe you have decided to let the pizza sit for 15 minutes before bringing to the table. Either way, we won't be back. I spoke with a few of my friends tonight that agrees that it's went down hill these past 3-6 months. I won't be recommending. I hope you make a few changes for the better to keep customers happy . When you were struggling, my family was a huge supporter.,. We love supporting local businesses that value their customers

I've been here a handful of times and the service here never disappoints. Tonight was a surprise with live music and a relaxing atmosphere. This is a great place for date nights. Especially if you want a nice place for drinks and pizza. The appetizers and food is really good too. If you want pizza I highly recommend here. Especially if you want cauliflower crust pizza. Sooooo good!😋

First time customer and I wasn’t to intrigued. I was craving some great pizza so I ordered based on google rating & location convenience. I ordered the slice Pizza Du Monde . It didn’t seem like freshly prepared pizza, more like a box pizza someone just tossed peppers and onions on top. & I also ordered the meatballs . I got what looked like store brought breadsticks , nothing like pictured . & the meatballs were not tender. The flavor was still pretty good so not all bad. My next best advice is include silverware and napkins in all orders. I feel like that should be pretty standard , especially if I’m delivering a tip. Ambiance was nice and place was clean. Just wouldn’t be my first choice .

Google
I wish I could rate this with no stars. Visited this location today, after hearing raving reviews from friends in the past. We walked in and stood at the empty hostess podium for several minutes while all of the employees made eye contact and never acknowledged us. We were finally confronted by a waitress in passing, who quietly told us to seat ourselves. Other customers walked in behind us and experienced the same thing. After waiting for over 10 mins, without anyone coming to our table (it was obvious that no one had been to our table yet) we decided to leave. No one seemed phased that we did. I would love to review the water, but sadly we weren’t even offered that. Others walked out behind us after experiencing the same frustrations. Would recommend wearing a high visibility choice of clothing, as it might have increased our chances of being served. We won’t be back.

Lunch here was delicious 😋 we ordered a medium Bellagio pizza and wanted to sub anchovies for bacon that was in the same price tier, well not only did they not get the order right , they charged for the additional meat but didn’t subtract the cost for the meat that was taken off, so yeah that wasn’t a pleasant experience. The interior is nice and clean, there is also patio dining! We got the Bleu cheese and beet salad which had a fantastic dressing on it and the candied pecans were yummy!! Pizza was also good. I’d probably come back, and just be clear on menu charges etc.

My husband and I are going to La Pizzeria for 2 years, and we always enjoyed it every single time. The food is delicious. We love the cauliflower crust pizza, the pasta, the appetizers, the drinks, especially the Apperol Spritz, and the most amazing thing is their people they are very kind and their attention is amazing.

Google
My first time going. I ordered a slice of pizza and the Cajun Alfredo pasta. The pizza was pretty good but my toppings fell off. My pasta was too spicy and I like spicy food. I couldn't eat it. I told my waitress and she was very nice about it. She gave me an option to take it off my bill, adjust it so it wouldnt be as spicy or make me something else. I asked for regular Chicken Alfredo. A lady brought it out, maybe the manager but she didn't identify herself. I tasted the food and it was too salty. I couldn't even eat it. I let my waitress know that I couldn't eat it. She apologized and said that it depends who is cooking ans sometimes it is too salty. I asked for my check and paid the bill. I was very disappointed and will probably not go back.

Yelp
I love this place, I love their pizza! Atmosphere is really great. One tip, whatever you are giving change back to a customer, usually if it's a small amount, never ask them "do you want your change? " That is very tacky. Give them back the money. If they want to send it right back over to you then they will do it. That hummus with the cucumbers and the pita is absolutely Amazing.! I'll be back!!

Yelp
My husband and I had lunch at LaPizzeria last week and it was delicious! The service was great and the food was even better. Will definitely go back.

Yelp
Full Bar Service atmosphere was great. The bartender looked up the drink I requested and made it for me. Wish I remembered to take pictures of the food. The burratta was excellent.

Yelp
We were driving around thinking we wanted Italian and looking on Google Maps. This place was the closest local restaurant next to Olive Garden, so we decided to give it a try. So glad we did! Hubs had Spaghetti and meat sauce, I had pecan-crusted chicken and we both got a side Caesar salad. Every single thing, including the iced tea, was delicious! The service was spot on and the restaurant itself was clean and elegant!

Yelp
We had an amazing pizza today, but it was a do-over b/c the toppings were so sparse that I did not accept it so the manager on duty offered to make it again. I explained to her, that that was not their standard, and their pizzas have always had a generous amount of toppings. We were grateful that she offered to make it over - that is the good service that we'll remember when we explore our choices - and there are LOTS of restaurants to choose from. They course corrected on the do-over and actually overdid it a bit, but they weren't leaving anything to chance and wanted to please. Done and done, though I didn't ask for twice as much, just a healthy amount for a $30 pizza. However, I was advised that if I wanted what might be considered a normal, but generous amount of toppings, I would need to order double the amount next time. I guess this is the new norm here for a pizza - which last I knew was flour, olive oil, pizza sauce, cheese, 1 protein and 4 veggies. What makes all of this so negative, is that we've been patronizing this spot for literally 25 years - since they opened! Once upon a time they were the only game in town save for just a couple other Italian - locally owned pizza restaurants. We've been loyal throughout its many owners and there have been many. We've celebrated birthdays, anniversaries and New Year's Eve fam dinners. It was our go-to spot, but like so much in this culture and economy La Pizzeria has lost its soul and its conscience. It's been 6 months or more since we last ordered from here and after today, it will likely be as long before we patronize this place again. Dining in last time was horrible - maybe 2 years ago when they had a fly problem - we left before ordering.

Yelp
If you can battle across Ambassador Caffrey Parkway and get here, you will get some good food. They have pizza, pasta, sandwiches, and other classic options. Entrees are a little pricey but I think you just have to keep up with inflation. Food came out fast after ordering. Pizza is good and crust is amazing. They use fresh local bread for all the sandwiches that has great crunch. Pasta was wonderful with a giant portion.

Yelp
Food and service were great. Can't wait to go back and try other things on their menu besides pizza. I wish they still had roasted garlic as an add for their pizzas. That's all that my shrimp pesto pizza was missing.

Yelp
Holy gooseberries, this place great!! Why can't we have a pizza like this in New Orleans?? I think La Pizzeria and Deano's are the best pizza places from NOLA to Laffy! We ordered a half and half pizza. Half for hot and spicy and the other was the meats. Something about Lafayette pizza where they shred ground meat (or maybe the shred the sausage) on their pizzas and it tastes so good! I think the fresh toppings is what makes this pizza different from others. I like that they are not skimpy on their ingredients either and there is a large variety. The pizza crust is crunchy as well, maybe they put butter on it? I don't know the toppings are so good that I barely noticed the pizza dough. I hope this place keeps doing what it's doing because it is perfection in my book.

Yelp
Love this place! Great food, quiet atmosphere, great wine! My favorite dish is the Portofino. Chicken Piccata also great. Mozzarella with bread (Burrata) a great start. Pessimist wine - a Pessimist is never disappointed.

Yelp
The worst lasagna for $18, if you can call it that!!! NEVER AGAIN will they rip me off. Ignored by 2 employees before someone finally took my order. Piss poor management in my opinion!!
google avatar

Katelyn N.

Yelp
This used to be one of my favorite spots but I stop coming for awhile when they switched owners because it wasn't as good. I decided to give it another try and was pleasantly surprised! Staff was friendly and food was great, portions were huge! So glad I gave it another try will definitely make this a usual spot. My favorite item was the Arancini, SO GOOD and crispy and the sauce was amazing definitely recommend!

Yelp
La Pizzeria WAS one of my top three favorite restaurants in Lafayette. It was my "go to!" The service was always fantastic, the owner and her family always greeted us like we were family. They always had us coming back for more because the food was fantastic, super consistent, and damn good!!! Since the restaurant has changed owners it has definitely changed in quality, consistency, and it is quite disappointing. . First major complaint, WTF IS UP WITH THE CHICKEN???? Do you guys remember how good the grilled chicken used to be? It had so much flavor and I wanted it on everything but now you guys are serving chicken that is so dry I could choke, some of it is glued together, it's REAL BAD!! Even the knew fried chicken that you are putting in the Caesar wrap is terrible. I didn't give up on you all. I decided to sub the chicken for grilled shrimp. Lol. Where do we live? These shrimp have to be Chinese. I can get better shrimp at a gas station. I want to love your restaurant again and I still try you all out every blue moon to see if anything Has changed and this last time was not acceptable. Suggestions: Grilled chicken pesto pasta salad- Bring back the House-made dressing, the juicy chicken, and the flavorful tomatoes. Chicken bacon ranch pizza- Bring back the real chicken and over all better ingredients. Chicken Parmesan- I just don't know what to say about that glued together creepy piece of undercooked meat. Desserts- What happened to the chocolate chip cheesecake ‍ I do have some good things to say!!!!! The new langlinais knotted bread was great!! I'm looking forward to trying the baked apple brie. The spinach and artichoke dip is not exactly the same but it is holding strong and I order it every time. A friend of mine was raving about the cheese curds So they are on my list to try. I hope you receive my comment as Constructive criticism because I'm rooting for y'all even if you don't think I sound like I am. Thanks for listening. One more thing, why are the portion sizes different if I eat at the restaurant vs if I order take out? Might want to check into this.

Yelp
Incredible lunch! We tried the brie appetizer. Best I've had! The sandwiches, pizza, and calzones were all delicious! We are definitely returning! I highly recommend!

Carly O.

Yelp
The pasta was too salty to eat and the apple brie thing was gross. I would never retry this place.
google avatar

Carla B. P.

Yelp
We enjoyed the Brie Very Berry summer appetizer or dessert it's the perfect combination of flavors. We also enjoyed the atmosphere, service was great.

Cameron W.

Yelp
We ordered the cheese curds and a large "build your own" pizza for pickup. The cheese curds were great! The sauce that came with the curds I could eat by itself. Our pizza was cooked perfectly and was made exactly the way it was ordered. The staff was very friendly and our food was ready on time. The space is clean and looks great; we will definitely be dining in next time!

Sarah T.

Yelp
Food was amazing and service was fabulous! Ambiance was really nice! We will be back!!

Yelp
When I'm craving pasta, this is the place to go. We started with crab cakes golden fried with this amazing sauce on the side. For entree I ordered chicken Alfredo it's my favorite- it's loaded with chucks of tender chicken, fresh mushrooms, spinach, and whole cloves of garlic. What's cool about the garlic being served this way is that if you want more garlic taste you can mash up the cloves and mix it up. Alex our server was super sweet and recommended an amazing dessert for us to try.

Anne H.

Yelp
Worst pizza in town. Not what it used to be. Ordered garden of Eden veggie pizza. Hardly any veggies on it!! Soggy pizza. Will not be back. Server was great.
google avatar

Vanessa M.

Yelp
12/8/19 I ordered Ragin Cajun pasta. Menu stated it had a spicy Alfredo sauce. Does that look like any kind of Alfredo? It was entirely too spicy and can we say greasy? It was gross. My shrimp were buried under all that pasta in that grease. The only good thing was the cheesy garlic bread. I would not return to this establishment even if I were paid to go!
google avatar

Janet H.

Yelp
This is one of my go-to places to eat in Lafayette. The service is always friendly, and the cocktails and food is always amazing. Some of my personal favorites include the hummus, calzones, La Pizzeria martini, and ALL of the desserts!
google avatar

Donnie W.

Yelp
The worst pizza ever!!! It looks like they cooked it in a microwave. First time I ever order a pizza took one bit then trash the rest! Score 0.0.

Eric G.

Yelp
The Red Hout & Spicy Pizza is so good. I ordered it on Waitr and got $5 off using code Local5!
google avatar

Mandy H.

Yelp
Went for our anniversary. Ordered a strawberry margarita and a regular one. Both were excellent. The spinach artichoke dip was da bomb - cheesy and gooey and craveworthy. The Superiore and American calzones were hot and tasty. Lauren was the best waitress. Definitely ask for her section. Can't believe it's been years since I've been here. Can't wait to go back!

Jus R.

Yelp
The blue cheese bacon beet salad is amazing! The humus as always is on point. So good!! I cannot live without the Garden of Eaten pizza!!
google avatar

Emmy A.

Yelp
Will definitely be back based off of my visit tonight. Naomi was our server and she was sweet & attentive. Food was awesome!! We got the Ragin Cajun Pasta and the Boudin Pizza (limited time for Mardi Gras season) Both delish.
google avatar

Donna N.

Yelp
I just had a semi healthy meal of griddled veggies (squash, zucchini, mushrooms, and tomatoes) and chicken. It also included pita wedges with hummus and salsa. I could have given myself a pat on the back if it would not have been sprinkled with cheese and accompanied with white wine. Nonetheless, I was proud of myself for not ordering pizza. My waitress was attentive and nice, my food was good, and I have enough leftovers for a couple of small meals. The restrooms were clean and tidy and there was plenty out outside seating to take advantage of the comfortable October evening. WIN!!!
google avatar

Nick D.

Yelp
By far my favorite pizza place in Lafayette. The meat market has SO MUCH meat on it, it's crazy. The crab amore is also great. You also must try their spinach dip......takes 5 hours to make each batch, always fresh. They also offer a really good lunch special. The owner is very sweet, along with the staff. I've been a regular for years and I don't plan on changing that.
google avatar

Ashley R.

Yelp
The customer service and food has definitely gone down. Our poor waitress seemed to be the only one there and was struggling to keep up. Basic things like pouring wine when a table orders a bottle were missed, which are crucial when you pay for bottle service. The good was just okay, it wasn't great like we've had in the past. Lasagna, was better than stouffers, but dry and lacked flavor. Meat market pizza was good, but it's hard to mess that up. Overall, if it stays this way I don't see them open in a year. Too much competition in Lafayette.
google avatar

Keith C.

Yelp
Nothing to praise or recommend! Service was very, very slow. People at table next to us called out for a waitress to first help them after waiting 10 minutes. Grilled Four Season pizza is a great concept but crust was like thin cardboard, tough and tasteless. Chicken Marsala was so salty that I couldn't eat it. Place looks nice but everything else deserved zero stars
google avatar

Jay R.

Yelp
Pizza is nothing special at all. Tastes like it came from the frozen section at the grocery store. This place used to be a lot better several years ago but it's gone downhill since then. Sorry I wasted my money.
google avatar

Justin M.

Yelp
Been a while since I've been here just don't order the burgers. Taste like a frozen patty just not quality. Also it took 40 minutes for this burger. Very disappointed with the service. Manager didn't even bother to offer any apologies either. Stick to the pizza or calzone you will be ok probably since that's what they are known for. But likely I won't be back.
google avatar

Adrienne L.

Yelp
Best Italian food in Louisiana! Get the chicken Alfredo, you won't regret it! Excellent service, great atmosphere, PHENOMENAL FOOD.
google avatar

Richard B.

Yelp
Tried their new location in Carencro and was not impressed. Had the shrimp au gratin which was not seasoned very well. I could probably do better in the frozen pizza section of any grocery store for a lot less than $30. Maybe they have some issues they need to iron out, who knows. I will check the reviews next time I am headed out of Lafayette.
google avatar

Jo T.

Yelp
This place on Ambassador Caffery, they changed sandwich bread and the way they used to fix it, Not good any more!
google avatar

Elizabeth H.

Yelp
This is a great local restaurant that has been around for awhile now. They have great pizza's and salads. Also a must try is the spinach and artichoke dip, it is sooo delicious!!! Although I heard they have new owners, on my most recent trip the spinach dip tasted different but still good. I think they may have added bacon but I thought it was great the way it was. If it is a nice day I recommend sitting outside for sure! Also on Friday and Saturday nights they have a guy that plays his guitar and sings on the patio. He is pretty good and makes it a fun evening.
google avatar

Haley R.

Yelp
My sister and I had a late lunch here on a Saturday. We decided on outdoor dinning which was nice because it was a beautiful day. I did briefly step inside and there wasn't much of a crowd, so we apparently missed the 'lunch rush'. We had a couple of Bellinis, the hummus appetizer, and the Pizza Du Monde (added black olives). The Bellinis were good and the hummus appetizer was awesome--I would definitely re-order it next time. It wasn't the best pizza I've ever had but the crust was thin and crisp, they went light on the sauce, the flavors were on point, and I did find it very tasty. I read some of the other reviews and surprisingly their complaints were about the service--our waitress was nice, attentive, and all of the wait staff seemed friendly enough. Maybe I went on a good day? I had a very good dining experience there.
google avatar

Elizabeth C.

Yelp
almost always get their low carb pizza...it is delicious. I never knew that I like eggplant till I had this pizza. the sour cream dill sauce that comes with it is wonderful.
google avatar

Bobby S.

Yelp
Easily some of the best pizza I've ever had. Now it is a little pricey but worth the price.

Collin D.

Yelp
The food and atmosphere are A+++ hidden gem spinach's and artichoke dip is a must every time
google avatar

Stacey G.

Yelp
Been here in the past and pizza has always been good! We got the garlic cheese bread which was very light and not over filling. Then we had the pizza du Monde. It was tasty with good flavors. Only thing I wasn't a fan of was the crust. I like a thicker crust and the traditional crust is a thin and crispy crust. It was good just not my fav crust! Overall a great pizza place!

Christy W.

Yelp
Horrible service. Called in an order for pick up and was told it would be ready in 25 Minutes. 50 minutes later with only 3 tables in the entire restaurant I get an attitude and a pizza. The other person waiting for a take out order waited 15 min longer than was told for their order as well.

Mark N.

Yelp
When I started coming here I had my own "booth". Now I have to show up early to enjoy the staff.ask for Jamie! Amazing!

Derrick L.

Yelp
This was once a good place to eat. Don't waste your money. Pizza was under cooked and service was bad.

Lea N.

Yelp
I can not recommend this pizza to anyone. We tried the Crab Amore and the Meat Market pizzas and will not try another. The Crab pizza was extremely fishy- the crab was not fresh. The meat market was better- but not worth the price. We will not go back- there are so many better pizza options in the area!
google avatar

Taylor P.

Yelp
I've gone several times since the new ownership and have had nothing short of a spectacular experience. I always get the Guiltless Pizza with a few substitutions or the Crab Armore on their whole grain crust. The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming because of the energy and smiles disbursed from the servers and managers. If you are around the area, I highly recommend stopping by.
google avatar

David M.

Yelp
Pizzas, Calzones, Sandwiches and Salads are great.... Portions are big and not overpriced. The only thing really lacking is service. I've been several times for lunch and have had the same inattentive aloof and slow service. Forgotten orders, entrees before appetizers and the like. Given that I know what I'm going to get I now order take-out and make them wait. The food is really good but I get better service at a McDonald's and I hate McDonalds.
google avatar

Leslie G.

Yelp
OK so.. its not the best pizza but it certainly isn't bad... and the humus was actually pretty good. I personally like it better than most pizza places around here ( people are gonna hate me for saying this ) but Cajuns don't know pizza I'm sorry Baudoin yes.. fried foods yes.. pizza no..(braces for stones to be thrown) I just haven't had any pizza around here that was anything close to what I would call great.. and I have eaten deano's and all the other local haunts.. and frankly they just aren't all that wonderful.
google avatar

Chris B.

Yelp
I eat here at least once a week for lunch, and I have never had a bad meal from LaPizzaria. I highly recommend the grilled chicken Caesar wrap. It's a great deal and comes with amazing waffle fries. The Grilled Chicken Pesto Pasta Salad is the absolute best item on the menu. It is not your everyday salad! I recommend splitting it between two people, unless you have a hearty appetite. The portions are HUGE and are worth every penny. They recently changed ownership and I am very pleased with the changes made by the new owners. I highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner!
