La Pizzica - Italian (Apulian) Restaurant & Pizzeria

Really nice place. I went with my team last night, and had authentic Italian food and really good service. Everyone loved food at this place. I really recommend to visit once if you never went there. I am sure, You will be keep finding reasons to go there.

This is Italy. Convivial Italian staff. Italian food to die for. OMG, so love this place. If I had to eat here for the rest of my life…. Life would be perfect. Been here a few times….late lunch and supper. Fungi Trombetta is my favourite. The owner loves a chat and is the most passionate foodie I’ve ever met. Fab gluten-free labelling on menu too. Thankyou

I booked for my birthday, for a big group (10), and all of the food was absolutely incredible! Some of best Italian food that we’ve tried in London. I definitely want to visit the Puglia region of Italy now. The pastas we had were particularly good - and freshly made- and they had so many specials/interesting wines. The staff were also so friendly and patient, even though quite a few of us arrived at different times, and we took a while to sort out our orders. I couldn’t recommended a better place if you’re trying to book for a lot of people, it had a great family feel too. (Plus all the food arrived warm and pretty much at the same time!). They also let me bring my own cake! (Always good to know!)

Great focaccia 10/10. Calamari is good too. We had pasta which were average but pizza seemed to be definitely popular.

Wonderful! A great place to host a teenage birthday party. Beautiful atmosphere. The room downstairs was perfect for a gathering for 20 but can hold more. Gianluca was so helpful and accommodating. Food and drink was excellent. Staff especially Giovanni were lovely and professional. Will definitely come again.

I recently dined at an excellent Italian restaurant. The pizza was outstanding, and the staff were very professional. Gianluca, the owner, is truly remarkable. I'm grateful for the experience.

A wonderful find. A nice variety of home cooked Italian with freshly made pasta. Charming owner, relaxed service and no doubt a nice atmosphere when full (we were eating at a quiet time on a Friday afternoon).

I do really want to take my time to write the worst review I can for this place. I booked for a new year eve dinner for 2 people and one child. Let’s start with the number of tables that were over the max number that the room can contain. As consequence it was so loud that it wasn’t possible to talk on the same table. Now the menu. 2 fixed menus (and we didn’t know in advance that was a fixed menu). One lets called it normal and one for vegetarians. I took the vegetarians. On the menu they wrote 3 different starters as 3 different items. To save on the quantity they practically brought those things on a small plate with: a 2x2cm piece of aubergine, a sub-millimetres cut zucchini and some other 1x1cm vegetables. Entree: 2 pieces of 2x1cm fried pizza dough serve on a cup a bit larger than an espresso cup. Pasta: literally 3 ravioli with butter. (This is not a gourmet restaurant but a family run restaurant). Second plate: few pieces of vegetables and half aubergine stuffed with white rice. Then they wrote on the menu: lentils and panettone (which I guess are the unsold items to remove before expiration date from the deli they also have). I hate both of them and left both. How can you serve lentils? They said: tradition (which I don’t care). Price: £200 of which £21 service charge. (basically the customers paid the waitresses salary for the day). I’ve never complained in my life for a price paid on a restaurant, even the rubbish ones. We left as soon as we could and before the midnight. Here the problem is that they wanted just to rip you off and that’s it. They wanted to just get as much money as possible offering the less amount they could. (Welcome to the modern age). I should write a negative review about the quality not the quantity. I felt robbed. Never again I will put a foot in this place. PS in the attached photos £200 pounds worth of food.
