The manager is a nasty man. He changed the price after bringing the check and the service is very bad. They gave us a menu that said a bottle was $90 and then when the check came they marked it as $130. Also, when they brought the check they said cash only but they wanted to charge us a credit card fee. Horrible service, fraudulent charges. I will never go back.

We ordered "cazuela de frijoles" and "pollo a la plancha" Both dishes were huge and delicious!. The service is very good, prices are not expensive at all. My wife is Colombia and loved the food, she said it was authentic. I also loved it.

Food taste alright I felt like food wasn't really to temperature it got cold really quick although presentation look really good they also offer natural juices I order a mango one it taste like mango juices with water also a little pricey compare to other Colombian restaurants that offer same food I must say places looks really nice and traditional that why gave then 3 star they have an other side of restaurant more like bar area with low lighting but to closed to dining area music to loud not really dining atmosphere

You get a lot of food for about $30 person. Tasted really good and frozen sangria really strong.

We decided to buy a chicken in this restaurant again because some friends invited us last time and we liked. But this time we didn’t like at all Chicken was not fully cooked, morcilla was dried and burned and empanadas taste old and dry. Besides my husband found a hair inside the morcilla. I definitely don’t recommend this place. Don’t waste your money.

The vibes here are party and sports oriented. It's dark in here. There are big television screens with soccer games playing when you walk in, and the walls are decorated in interesting art. I saw a neon sign in the back that was labeled "Devil's Playground" if you like to Instagram cool signs? I walked in around 11 am, and I sat down waiting for my friend. There was a waitress working here who told me that it was okay to have a seat while I waited for her. I think they just opened, and I was the first one here. Then another couple walked in. I sense this restaurant is for younger folks. So back to my thoughts on the lunch here. I found my meal very flavorful. I had ordered a lunch special, bistec encebollado, which is essentially steak and onions. It comes with rice and beans which I felt were so good. Now, the menu is full of different dishes, bandeja tipica, sancocho, soup, steak, chicken, pork chops, pretty much everything at a Colombian restaurant. I found that they people who work here are friendly, but you may have to wait a while. When we asked for extra things like another drink and to-go box, our waitress was able to get them for us and was approachable. It's just that they may not be waiting there for you...it's super laid back. I know to place my order, I had to go find them and put it in at the bar, because I was hungry, but maybe that wouldn't be the level of service you expect especially if you want table service. So bottom line is if you are in a rush, then this is not your spot. There is a lot to like. I would totally go back for the tastiness factor in the food alone. It was my close friend who swore by how awesome this place was, and now I also believe her taste in good food!

First of all, this place has become 2 locations. A restaurant and a lounge called 82 lounge. Ladies!! Be careful with the bouncer. He clearly takes advantage of his job! He tried to pat me down (im a female) we allll know men should not be patting women down. If they're sooooo concerned about their customers safety MAYBE they should start with their bar staff who clearly pops pills while on the job. This place is sketchy. Always watch your surroundings especially if you're not from the neighborhood & aren't familiar with the stuff that goes on in the neighborhood itself. The bartenders are friendly and attentive no complaints there.

My mom and daughter got sick after eating their beans. I ordered the food at 5pm, dropped it off home.My daughter and mom ate it without knowing these beans were spoiled. I get home 2 hours later to eat, open the container and this is what I see, spoiled and bad smelling beans. Rest assured I will never come back to this place. Shame on you for selling food from previous days.

Food was amazing and service was just as good. Only real issue was enjoying the food in the cold , sadly their build out for Covid is not too warm so it made it a little unenjoyable.

Nice place to watch a soccer game when Colombia is playing very lively. Typical Colombian food for the most part but food is great compared to the restaurants around it has a more homely feeling. Restaurant is a decent size.

Please check your receipt when you check out with credit card. They overcharged me without any reasons. They treat you like shit if you don't speak Spanish. Today is my first time also last time to be here.

This place has a twin restaurant in Sunnyside by the same name! The food is just as good and the portions are just as large. The dining room feels larger than the sunnyside restaurant. My dinner: Arroz Con Pollo, Ensalada, Maduros $8.95- Rice with chicken, salad and Plantain. Yummy! This is my go-to spot with my family. I always get the Salmon which always tastes delicious. I've never had any issues with the food and neither has my family. But I will say the service is up and down. Sometimes we get a good server, other times it'll be bad. The passion fruit margarita is good too, but this last time I went it wasn't good at all. I'm going to continue to give this place a try and hopefully they don't mess up the Salmon.

The food is good compared to other Colombian restaurants I've visited. I disliked the fact that they included the tip in your bill regardless of the size of your party. This fact was not featured in the menu nor are there signs displaying this. Additionally, the waitress offered to put our food in a to-go container and she touched my food to ensure that it would close. Very gross and I had to get her attention 3 times because she just kept forgetting to get my bill.

The food is amazing! Great portions sides, great service. So if you're looking for a places to have a good time, this is the place.

Food used to be better. The arepas I got were old and they crumple while I was eating them. I wouldn't recommend this place. I used to eat here years ago and I was very disappointed.

Do not come to the night club here. They rip you off. I came here a while ago for my birthday with my friends and they double charged us for a bottle of aguardiente. My friend paid for it and gave the cash to one employee. The bartender then said no you do not pay. Its a scam. They just want money and instead of the manager agreeing with the customer he wanted to call the cops. This establishment is ridiculous. I will never return. If you don't speak Spanish you are out of luck in this establishment. I will never return.

The food was good, I ordered the churrasco aguatalada, it was yummy. My mom had the chuleta a la parilla and she enjoyed it, brother had the grilled sobrebarriga and he enjoyed his plate as well. So 3 stars for the food. But the service was bad, she was attentive and she sat and was eating while we waited to get our bill. Several times I turned around to get her attention but apparently that didn't work since she continued eating. You want to eat fine, but sit away from the general eating area, let your tables know and have someone else take over them so we're not just there sitting like fools. And when the bill came we knew why the service was bad, they include the tip in the bill so of course they don't bother with good service.

I came here at least two times and I haven't written a review? Shame on me! My bf and I come here because it's close to where I have an apartment...which I still can't live there...long story. I had the grilled pork chops last time which they served with maduro, rice and beans. I had lunch there a couple of days ago and ordered the ribs (Costilla) "lunch" special. My boyfriend both times had the quarter chicken, dark meat, and it was delicious. They have an all day lunch menu. Some are daily specials and some are everyday specials. The everyday specials are only $6.95. It's a very satisfying meal for $6.95. My bf and I are pretty happy with this place being near my apartment, if only I can move in already!!!

Today i just call for delivery. & they take. Moré then 50 minutes to delivery The Food & o just. Live two blocks away From The Restaurant &. I order. BANDEJA TÍPICA & The meat. Was not cooking. WELL DONE. SOO I DONT RECOMEND THIS RESTAURANT. & i call back to complaint. Directly. To The MANAGER. &. He told me. " i going to Send some one to pick -up The meat to put it back to The grill & Send back to you.).... Instead. To Send me a new. & well cooking meat.

The menu is vivid filled with a lot of choices from seafood to steak. I ordered churrasco steak with Tocino and rice & beans. And a Corono Awesome food! Big plates & reasonable prices.

Great portion, let's just say u dont leave hungry. You must try the rotisserie chicken, it is one of the best I've had from a spanish restaurant. The fried pork was delicious! Service is quick & friendly.

This place is good, food is authentic and the portions are really big and two or three people can easily eat from an entree. Order one entree to share and try some appetizers!

Only giving them one star because I have to in order to post our review and let all the readers know how this restaurant operates delivery orders. We have ordered from this location twice before but this last delivery order was review worthy. One good thing about this location is that the breaded fish is good. Other than that, they roll into the epic fail review status. The customer service is the worse for them. Our last order was horrid. The breaded fish we usually ordered arrived RAW. Yes, folks, I said raw. We called them immediately and they seemed shocked. They asked if we were sure it was raw and we confirmed all adults had checked the fish and it definitely was raw. We requested another breaded fish as an exchange and they REFUSED. Their resolution was that they were only going to inform the staff but nothing was going to be fixed within our order. We even offered to pick it up and do the exchange to avoid additional wasted time and they declined. This was appalling. This post is in hopes no one will have to go through such an ordeal. We will never be ordering from this location again and will never recommend it.

I had a great experience for dinner last night. Very reasonable prices for the amount and quality of food you get. The service was great, very attentive and helpful. The food came out fast and was incredibly great tasting. I would recommend this place to anyone in the mood for great columbian food. The portion was way more than I expected and I nearly got two meals out of it, making this a really good value. You can't beat the atmosphere either, the music is lively, its brightly colored/well lit and the staff were gorgeous! 5 stars all day!

I would give 0 stars to this place.. I went there yesterday and this place is horrible.. music is ok. The bartender gave us a really bad service. First the "vodka en soda" that we ordered had 1/2 shot of vodka it was 99% soda! (Overpriced) I aked for the bill for 2 vodka and soda, it was $30 (tip is included on the check). I gave her $40 and she never gave me back my change! I asked her for it and she just ignored us. Then I ordered another round and this time I gave her my Credit card and asked her to keep the tap open. After the 3rd round I asked her for my bill, and she gave me a check for me to give her another card! Jesus! I gave her my CC at start! She knew what she was doing.. another client saw us and came to tell us that be careful because what the bartender does is taking the credit cards and the next day she will go shopping with your card! I had to asked her 4 time for my CC ! BE CAREFUL BECAUSE THESE PRETTY LADIES WHO WORK THERE CAN USE YOUR CARDS FOR THEIR SHOPPING! Do not pay with cash unless you have the exact amount of the bill, if not, you will not get your change back.

This place was recommended to me, so I went with my family, I wish I didn't. The food was not good at all the seasoning was off and the food got really cold right away, it felt like it was microwaved. The utensils were dirty and just the whole experience was not good. I Will not be coming back.

If you ever order delivery from this Restureant. The amount of food that they send is not what it's charged for. For example, me and my daughter ordered delivery that included plantains that were $4.75 and when we checked to see how many plantains we got so i could split it, we only got 5 little plantains. What a ripoff! I'd rather make the plantains myself! They probably like taking advantage of some people because you can't go because it's bad weather or you live too far. That's just straight up rude and disrespectful. I'm never ordering any side from this place. We also called and asked why they gave us so little bit of plantains. I'm very disappointed in this place. When you go to the restaurant to eat lunch or dinner and you order plantains, they give you about 30 or 40 plantains!! I'm very disappointed in this restaurant.

Food was nice, loved how they did the little seating outside by separating the tables, unfortunately they are small which is fine, but they have separate speakers in each one and with the small room and loud volume. It's very irritating and annoying, could barely hear my dad talking to me. Basically came close to screaming just to hear. The rice with beans is pretty good also.

Delicious South American food. I love there seafood cream soup. Bandeja tipica is a native favorite. Pork ,steak . Rice and bean with a fried egg on top. A piece of avocado and arepa .

terrible service, server diana? a total mess, rude and so uninterested in helping, she picked up a knife that fell on the floor, that was stepped on with foot marks with the napkin that it was on and placed it right on my table next to my food! wtf? shameful service and horrible experience, food was good but just the way the waitress acted, bleh. had to ask three times for the sides my dish was suppossed to come with, three times. oh, and she didnt even bother to bring a new knife, ha!

It's actually sad that the food and drinks are pretty good. But the service people here f***ng suck. First of all, everyone here is a racist. If you're not spanish particularly Colombian they give not 1 shit about providing a good service. Not even an outstanding service, but a good one. I'll even take mediocre but nope none of that here. Not only do they have a girl who can't even speak English answering phones for delivery but they won't even get someone who does speak English on the phone to help. Super unprofessional. Then they've messed up my order charging me extra for beef and gave me chicken by accident. Again, can't even state your concerns without an idiot at the desk or on the phone assisting you. Never again am I accepting an order and paying for it before checking. Every time I come here or order from here I leave pissed off. But again, the food is delicious. Customer service here is truly appalling. So if you want your belly full and to be treated like shit, I guess this is the spot for you.

I've been here for breakfast and dinner. Typical Colombian fare. Great food, great service. For breakfast, plates come with a hot chocolate. We ordered the scrambled eggs with tomato and onions, arepa w cheese, and a natural fruit smoothie instead of hot chocolate. We paid extra, but there's nothing like a natural fruit smoothie, made with milk, from a Colombian restaurant! That's what I look forward too! I went with pineapple this time, but they make over 5 or 6 different flavors. The whole meal came to about $13. Plate came with rice and beans, and a Spanish sausage on the side (chorizo). Needless to say, I took half my plate to go. Colombian restaurants are known for big bang for your buck! Big dinner plates filled with food at reasonable prices. That's what I'm talking about!!

My first time ordering from this place, and it will definitely be my last. I called for a delivery, I order a breaded chicken breast with a soda, I got my delivery 1 hour later, it was a very small portion of food, salty, and they charged me $18.50 for it. When I called to let them know, the girl that answered the phone said that she only packs the food and that was not her responsibility. The food is over seasoned, overpriced, very little portions and their customer service even worse. Very disappointing, not a good representation of Colombian cuisine.

Colombia versus Peru.. tied 1-1 it was intense. Dating a Colombian man has basically put me in the position of being a fan of Colombia, shots of aguardiente included. Other than having to literally be pulled out of the way of an ongoing bar fight it was a good night. Colombians can definitely party and this location definitely delivers.

I recieved the worse service ever just a couple of minutes ago. The waitresses talk amongst themselves then what they actually worked. I asked for the soup special which comes with rice, dry chicken and salad. The salad looked old and when I asked the waitress to replace my rice for beans, she said she couldn't do that. I ordered the plate anyway just without the rice and still got charged the same. Whoever manages this place is doing a horrible job. Oh let me not forget that the soup was a veggie soup w/ only 2 pieces of veggies in it. It also didn't help that next door where they have their bar, a guy was spray painting and the entire restaurant smelt like spray paint. I really use to like this place but now I will be looking for a new colombian restaurant to go too.

Went here with a couple of friends for breakfast.The food was good quality at table service, unfortunately I asked for a plate to go and look what they gave me a burned arepa. I thought I would give them a chance and call in order for them to give me a apology or a simple courtesy. The supervisor answered I explained the problem and he simply said that he will talk to the kitchen and to do what ever I wanted with yelp. Can't believe what I heard. I'm done with this place.

Best Colombian food in Queens! My family and I have been coming here for years!!! Great portions, wonderful service and the food is amazing!!! Plus I am super picky because ah-hmmm I am Colombian and this food is like you are back home! Never leave me!!!!!

Came here to have lunch with my boyfriend. I ordered a regular grilled chicken plate with rice, salad, and beans. My bf ordered a soup and a plate of chicken and salad. Over all the food was okay, my chicken was more on the dry side but adding hot sauce made it better. Throughout our meal half way in, out of no where a ROACH appears on our table. We don't know where it came from but it made us loose our appetite. I believe when my bf moved his plate slightly that's when we seen the roach! Yuck! We told the waiter and she automatically tells us it's definitely not from the food but it could of been when they disinfected the restaurant from the other day. But still, disgusting!! They offered us 50% off our meal but we still felt disgusted afterwards. Completely lost our appetite. We won't be coming back!

The food was okay. Came here with a party of 10, there were two other parties of 2s. There was only one waitress and wasn't the nicest or most helpful person. She told us that she had to double check if they had chicken, apparently we ordered the last one at 6:30 pm. We tried ordering a soup of the day and of course, there was no more. I ordered Mora for my drink and they didn't have any. Lastly, we asked for a dessert because we were celebrating someone birthday and we were told that they didn't even have any desserts left. We asked if we can purchase one from outside and bring it in, they told us yet, when I asked for a candle, I was told that they didn't have any. ‍ It's Wednesday, I'm not sure why they are out of everything we ordered. The waitress didn't help the situation as she really didn't apologize for any of the inconvenience. We are used to coming here twice a year but this is certainly the last time we come here. We will try Pollos Mario moving forward.

I must say I love but love Colombian food. The only thing that was good was the rice. They do have good people working there but the food was horrible. Meat came out cold, tuff and had too much fat (40% edible). The sangria was bitter and the shrimps weren't clean. 2stars in my book. Sorry but never ever again.

The prices have increased ! They now charge 5 percent fee on your order if you use a credit card for delivery not sure if you eat in as well ! This place was good before it expanded . They send you smaller portions of food than before as well . It seems like all they did was expand , decrease service and quality of food ! And charge the customers for the expansion

The worst experience ever. If I can give a negative 100 this would be the score tonight. First the waitress brought me the wrong order, as I asked for grilled pork chops, and she brought breaded chicken breast. As I waited 15mins for my food, while the rest of my party was finishing I got my food. The nail in the coffin was, once I got my food I had a roach in the salad. YES A COCKAROACH, RIGHT ON TOP OF THE LETTUCE. Then when the so called manager comes over, he didn't even have words to say. Just a blank stare, until finally managed to say sorry. He offered another meal and didn't even offer any other courtesy to you party who also lost there appetite. Worst place ever, if you are looking for forgetful waitresses and extra protein on your salad from roaches this is the spot.

I drive all the way from the Bronx just to get food from here!! My fiancé and I share there big plate (I can't remember the name) it's a traditional colombian plate. It's so massive that we must share it. We always also order a pitcher of there red sangria. It's not really expensive and the food is really good. Also, the music isn't too loud which is nice.

Food is good but man... calling to place a delivery is a challenge. They usually put you on hold all the sudden and leave you there for a long time, some times not even coming back to the line. Besides that no complains about food quality or price.
