"This weekday option is one of the city’s newer farmers markets and pops up at Los Angeles Historic State Park. There’s a relatively small number of producers (at least in comparison to other neighborhood markets), but expect to find twice as many prepared food vendors. After scoring some seasonal produce, you can grab a deli sandwich at Little Palace Delicatessen, a Taiwanese-style grain bowl from Gu Grocery, and chicken tenders at Cargo Snack Shack, to name a few. Open Thursday, 3-7:30pm." - sylvio martins, garrett snyder

Best farmers market ever!! If I could give 10 stars I would. Every time I come here I become so happy. Nicest vendors, great staff, right next to the park so you can picnic on your bites! What more could ya want?

This is a great farmers market! It is definitely on the smaller side but with wonderful vendors - produce, baked goods, hot food items, and other small businesses. They also offer Market Match, allowing those with EBT to increase their purchasing power! I look forward to going again!

This is a new market with a few vendors but it’s promising to be a winner. There’s crafts, produce, and coffee and po-boy stand. The people are super friendly.

Yelp
This is my updated review of the farmer market. Since the last review, the market has been expanded. There are 4 stands for fruits and local vegetable products from 4 local farms. There are a french bakery, 3 food stands, several stands selling cookies, gourmet dips, sauces, etc. It's a fun activity for all residents in Chinatown areas. Many people walk their dogs and then hang out at the farmer market. We are looking forward to the market every thrusday.

Yelp
It's nice to have a farmers market in the DTLA/Chinatown area especially at lovely park such as the LA State Historic Park. You can certainly take a stroll at the park after. This farmers market is usually open Thursdays from 3pm - 7:30pm unless there's a holiday or event which you can check first at their Instagram page @lariverfm. It is on the smaller side but there are great vendors of groceries, baked goods, and other items. However, it is expensive side despite offering the market match for people who have EBT. Today was my most recent visit and I purchased a loaf of rosemary bread ($12), a bunch of carrots ($3), and 1 lb of tomatoes ($5). The food seems very fresh and you are supporting locally grown produce so it's worth checking out if you are able to. The vendors are very kind and welcoming.

Yelp
I look forward to the beautiful vendors' faces and yummy produce every Thursday. Seriously. The tomatoes are the rodeo queen this week. Accepts EBT + WIC checks + MarketMatch Please tell your parents, aunties, uncles and grandparents. Would be nice to see more elders and people from the Chinatown community here! The park rangers with bullet proof vests on and holstered guns are very unsettling. Always a good day at the market when they're not in sight.
