Huevos rancheros were nasty. Who tf puts bell peppers in Mexican food? Really terrible quality. No sense of pride in cooking Mexican food. We grew up poor and still tasted better food on welfare. Service was really kool though. The homegirl there was on 10. Really attentive and polite. I do gotta say las tortillas were very good

We initially walked in and no one was there to greet us. They have an ordering window so we placed an order, and then we asked if we could dine in. Of course they were welcoming at that point. It's small, quaint spot for Mexican food. Definitely a local spot. We enjoyed the bandas playing on the big screen. Had a total of 4 beers. The beans were cold. Food was okay. I think the enchiladas were too salty but a not bad flavor on either dishes. Would I recommend this place? Will I come again? Unfortunately, no.

New management.. the food is much smaller portions and the prices are higher.. didn't bring me any Silverware for the food.. no napkins waitress was not on point.. not on top of what customer needed took way to long to bring us our food. And Food Was Cold One lost customer

NEW OWNERS My family has been coming here for at least 20+ years... So sad the place is being depreciated by new management. The following are a few things that bugged me 1. I ordered the same breaded shrimp I always do, the shrimp is different and it usually comes with a baked potato, and I asked if I could get French fries with my order instead of the potato. When I got my order for take out, there were no french fries . 2. The shrimp I got was actually soggy, and when I took a bite , I realized these were not cleaned shrimp. The poop line was still in them. 3. The 7 mares soup my father got, was smaller and more expensive. 4. The breaded filete my mother got was also soggy. Sogginess had never been a problem before. When we called the woman over the phone basically said "My bad, I forgot to check your order" $46 for these 3 plates. Don't waste your money here. Sorry that you didn't get to try the food that the previous owners served. I feel so sad I can't even finish the shrimp because it tastes so bad :(

This place is a complete dump. Witnessed on Friday the waitress drinking with a male customer and letting him touch her waist and leg. Waitress kept bringing the guy buckets of beer. No control on the amount of alcohol served. This place is known for having after hours for its special customers. Fights and shots have been heard from this place. The owner I believe named Areli also drinks with customers and encourages her girls give full service to all male customers. I’ll be reporting this to the board providing the pictures I took. Thank you for posting that you and your girls drink with customers. That’s all I needed for you to acknowledge the truth. Please learn to read English I never said your daughters worked at that place. And I am business owner and first class citizen who does things correctly that’s why I’m calling you out on your abuse of power towards your employees. Sooner or later you will be exposed and the corresponding agency will take care of what happens next. You can attack me all you want it just shows the level of professionalism and class you have.

Searched for the best fish tacos in Los Angeles and this one came up. Went and tried them and I must say, they were phenomenal! I ordered 2 fish tacos and let's just say I made 4 out of them. The fish was nice and crispy, the thousand island mixed with chipotle took them tacos to another level. Overall, you will not be disappointed. Definitely a must try, family owned. Don't forget to try the miches!

New owners. Nothing close to what it use to be. If you see any good reviews it's for the ex owners. Save ur money go to taco bell at least they're consistent and have better flavor. How sad☹ use to go since I was 13 years old 32 now.

It's a small place the food is great they serve you big portions in all you order beers are nice and cold you can get a bucket filled with ice. I go their once a week to eat the ceviche and the Mariscada is Awesome!

This humble spot makes the best and most reasonably-priced breakfasts! Fresh eggs, rich cheese, perfect beans... and personable service. Try it when you have an appetite- portions are generous!

This place is so nasty. It has a nasty smell and the food is horrible. The service is not the greatest I'm unless youre a male. Once I received my food there was a hair and when I told the waitress she said it wasn't there and just took it out. Would not be going back. Disgusting place.

This place used to be my Favorite place to have a Refreshing Horchata and have Some Delicious Sea food. But I don't know what Happen to them Cause all their Food change all of a Sudden.. And when I say Change I'm talking about flavor wise. Their Horchata is not the Same it used to be soo Good cause they used to make it similar to a milk shake. Last time I was there I got pretty disappointed. I'm not Returning. But heck I did enjoy it when it Used to be Good.

This place is not the same anymore, overpriced food and drinks, had the burrito de asada so much fat not enough meat, lacking flavor. And they charge an extra 2.00 fees to use y our card boo. Won't be going back bring back the old owners.

Under New Management.. ONE LOST CUSTOMER.. Food Was Cold Took Way to long to bring us the food.. prices when up for portion was small waitress was not on top of what one needed NOT A FAMILY PLACE NO MORE .

This place has good food that is reasonably priced. It's not mind-blowing amazing but it has some solid menu items. 1.) tacos gobernador- some of the I've had in the área and I've tried many; 2.) Shrimp Ceviche- always fresh tasting with just the right ratio between shrimp and evenly diced vegetables. I hate it when places overdo the tomato in an attempt to reduce the amount of shrimp. This place does shrimp ceviche right 3.) taquitos de pollo. My favorite! You get 4 little perfectly fried taquitos with beans, rice and guacamole. Their guacamole is off the hook. Must try. Lastly, they have a good bottle beer selection and the beers are dirt cheap. Knock yourself out and get a whole bucket of beers on ice. Their micheladas are huge and tasty as well!

Update-Today is a sad day! After coming here for so many years since I was a kid La Ronda now has a different owner and even though they have the same menu the food is not the same! Safe to say that nothing lasts forever. Used to be the Best Mexican restaurant!

If anyone ever finds the old owner please let me know !! I want to follow her wherever she is I will never forget the camarones a la diabla or the Chile's rellenos and let's not forget about the horchata the new management is decent but I miss the feel the old ronda had ... I'm truly sad

Great authentic Mexican food for such a great price! You can't beat this place! The only issue is they sell most dishes from $8-$12 (which is super affordable) but they sell you a can of soda for $2. That's a ripe off. Anyway great food!

Waitresses are kind and friendly, food is great but I especially enjoyed their michelada

This place is a great hole in the wall, don't even notice if you don't look hard enough. Overall the food is great, generous portions and great taste. The only reason I'm leaving 3 stars is due to my last visit.... my Bf and I walked in 30 min to close, and as we walked in we got the RUDEST stare down from the "waitress/host". We proceeded to sit down for her to tell us that they had already cleaned and preferred to see us leave than to serve us. No sorry. No "come back", nothing. The waitress never smiles, never acknowledges your sincere appreciation for assisting you, and doesn't make you feel welcome at all. Maybe they need to revisit customer service with this lady. I won't go back as long as she is there.

Didn't be fooled. This ain't Taco Bell. This is the real Deal. Good food and Boss Margaritas in the mini glass. You must check this out. Englewood on the map!!

Been coming here since I was born honestly. Great little hole in the wall family owned restaurant. Great tasting, fresh seafood at really generous prices. My usual goto's are the fried Mojarras (Tilapia) you get two for $11 currently which is a really great deal. Come with a salad or soup and two sides: retried beans, French fries, rice or baked potato. The snapper is really great here too. Parking is street parking but it's surprisingly easy to find when coming here and it's really close to el mercadito if you wanna grab some desserts after your meal nearby. Overall it's a really good bang for your buck where you'll often see families enjoying lunch.

This place is a must go to place. A little gem for seafood in a forgotten corner of East L.A. the shrimp Cocktails are enormously generous and tatare like you made them at home. Then there's the fish. Al Mojo de Ajo (in garlic sauce) is my favorite. Served with a salad a baked potatoes chips salsa and rice. It's so much food you need to decide if your gonna take it home or just give up. I've had other stuff here, but the Fish Plate is definitely my favorite. Yes, the place is old, it's been around for 40+yrs. it might need a make over, but the food is spot on.

Small place but the food is great. I've been coming here with my family since I was a kid. Only place I eat seafood at!

I might honestly have to say that this may be the best and most authentic mexican restaurant in all of east los angeles . With east la having a million mexican food joints that is still an under statement . I finally found my favorite mexican food spot.

Food was delicious....friendly customer service . Although there was only one person taking orders, cleaning, and charging she was amazing and tried smiling as she went along. I would recommend this place, two thumbs up.

This is one of my favorite Mom and Pop Mexican restaurants in LA. You definitely have to try the Fish Tacos and the Caldos. The micheladas and horchatas are the best! Definitely will be back:)

It's a small place, but it's good. I like their cocktel de camaron & the chip + salsa!

Camarones a la Diabla and Camarones Empanizados are delicious. My dad and uncles always come here during their lunch break. The food is great but the place is a bit small, old, and has no parking.
