La Rosa Fine Cuban Cuisine Review - Flagami - Miami - The Infatuation

"La Rosa takes hearty Cuban food, the kind you’ll find at most , and dresses it up. Their dining room is set with white tablecloths and many of their dishes are artistically garnished with edible flowers. They also have the most colorful vaca frita we’ve ever seen—but not the best. It’s missing that quintessential crispiness that all usually have. Not everything is a miss though. Order the croquetas de bacalao, which are light, delicate, and fluffy. And definitely get the star of the menu, the pork chicharrones so fresh they’re still crackling when you eat them. " - Virginia Otazo

10 Best Cuban Food in Miami | Condé Nast Traveler

"La Rosa is out-of-the-way enough that few tourists know about it—and even if they do, they don’t often make the trek from their hotels in South Beach or downtown Miami to give it a try. For many, it’s a special occasion spot, so expect all the noise that comes with it. Try two of the restaurant’s most popular dishes: the carne de puerco and the chuletón de puerco relleno (and don't skip the seafood)." - Jennifer M. Wood

Google
Can’s restaurant because I was staying nearby and I was in the mood for some good octopus mainly because I seen pictures… I want them into my delight. Got a nice version of piña colada obviously got the octopus which was surprisingly flavorful. I didn’t think that it would be enough, but after I finish the plate, I actually got full. That was all before my main course which was steak and eggs I end up taking that to go. The backwards thing about it was I thought I’d be getting one steak and two actually got two steaks and one egg which is great. I felt like the bill was fairly priced and the service was amazing. I drove myself and I’ll definitely be back next time. I’m in Miami staying next to the airport.

Wow! What a gem we stumbled upon, recommended by our hotel. The service was great, warm and friendly. We felt like family. The food was incredible. Portion sizes were very large and everything was seasoned well. Fun spots to take photos too!

Had a small leisure trip to Miami for some museums and sight seeing. Out of every place we visited for food, this place was the best. The service was phenomenal and the food was outstanding. I got the masitas, and the rest of my group got the camarones al ajillo, a liver dish, and the steak salad. All of it was great. Super tasty cocktails. Everything looked gorgeous as well. Not sure when I'll be back to Miami, but if you're visiting, I highly recommend La Rosa!

THE FIRST CUBAN RESTAURANT IN MIAMI, WITH THE SOUL OF 1960s HAVANA I am an Australian, but a frequent visitor to both Miami and Havana, involved in both places as a Professor of Medicine and a Lecturer in Anthropology. I left Havana in 2023, and today was the first time I truly savored the kind of Cuban cuisine I had grown used to in La Habana—a few notches higher in elegance and sophistication than most Cuban-American restaurants in Miami. I was transported back to the many dinners and long conversations in the halls of Havana, and I deeply enjoyed the nostalgia evoked by the cuisine of 1960s Cuba. This cherished culinary tradition is kept alive at La Rosa Restaurant, founded in 1968 by people from the province of Matanzas. I don’t think you’ll find malanga soup with such refined taste anywhere else. I had the grilled fish, and my companion enjoyed vaca frita after his salad. And how can a Cuban meal be complete without Caviar Cubano—frijoles negros, the black beans? I closed my eyes while sipping the black bean soup and could feel the breeze from the Malecón (my apartment was near the Malecón). The dessert took us both by surprise. I had Cuban natilla, reminiscent of crema catalana or crème brûlée—every morsel was delicious. My companion had arroz con leche, a melt-in-the-mouth kind of delight. My stomach was satisfied, my mind coated in the warm nostalgia of my recent life in Havana, and I felt spiritually connected to the rich history of that island just south of here. You will always be in my heart.

I really enjoyed my meal at La Rosa. The food was amazing, the drinks were strong and the service outstanding. What more can you ask? Had the Explosion de Nueva Ropa. The presentation was impressive and the taste.:.wow! I would go back again.

This is a must visit restaurant! We are in town for vacation and we will be back again! The food was incredible, Manuel was a devoted server and we have not experienced service at this caliber for quite some time and helped refer different options based on what we said we like.

Google
The food was 10/10 This was my first time in Miami. I will definitely be coming back! My server Manuel was so patient. Highly recommend 👌🏾

Yelp
The Rabo (Oxtail) was superior in its execution. I would describe it as an elevated version of this dish in that in addition to its incredibly moist, fork tender texture, the flavor was a very clean and concentrated beef flavor. The ample quantities of sauce (yes, this was more sauce like than gravy like) was smooth and velvety. Not a hint of the chunky mirepoix vegetables that likely were the basis of this delectable elixir. The accompanying rice and black beans were as tasty as you'd expect but I was drawn to use the sauce with the rice and eat the black beans by themselves. Some might say sacrilege; oh well... The oxtail empanadas were rich and flavorful though the dough was thicker than my liking but that's just a personal preference. The staff was attentive and accommodating and the ambiance was that of a moderately lit white table cloth old-style family restaurant. Can't wait to experience La Rosa again on my next visit to Miami.

Yelp
This place was amazing! Down for work and found this restaurant on Yelp, DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!!! Started with the ox empanadas - insanely delicious and moist (I usually find empanadas to be very dry). Got a side of the plantains, so delicious. For dinner I got the Cuban beef stew, literally the best meal I have had in 10 years. Wish there was an equivalent restaurant in Boston. Atmosphere was upscale but the prices were awesome! Two us got two apps, each a meal, two spicy margaritas and a beer, the bill was under $100. I thought it was a mistake at first. The waitress was awesome, we tipped her well.

Yelp
The service was amazing! I sat at the bar and Daniella took good care of me all night. I never had to fight for her attention. The food was very good! I loved the presentation as well. They take a lot of pride in their food. I had a margarita and it was quite big! I didn't finish the whole thing. The spot is pretty cute inside. They have a bar, indoor dining area and and outdoor dining area. The items with the red dot on the menu are on happy hour M-F 4-7. I'll definitely be returning.

Yelp
Still my favorite Cuban restaurants in Miami. This is considered a landmark and at least it should be. The food is absolutely amazing and the service is always outstanding. I've been here about 3 or 4 times and it's consistently good. Quality food and the presentation is great. The prices are also very reasonable considering how nice the place is. Plenty of parking too. If you want a classy Cuban experience without breaking the bank, this restaurant is perfect for family night out or romantic date. Will keep coming back.

Yelp
I stopped by La Rosa for dinner for the first time in a while; I've ordered a few dishes on UberEats from them previously, and given they're located across from what used to be a funeral home #oldmiami probably had cafecito while at the visitation for loved ones. Anyway, since I was at a meeting at the airport, I returned on the recommendation of a client; I'd skipped lunch and was famished. They have both an inside seating area with a style mildly reminiscent of the Babylon with tablecloths and even your soda came out in glass cups, as well as an outside area. Since it was chilly, I ate inside. My waitress was pleasant, but sometimes felt that I had to wait a little longer considering the dining room was not full. An 18% automatic tip is included, even for solo diners. Foodwise, the cream of malanga soup with malanga chips soaked in was a great start to warm me up. I originally wanted the grilled chicken with glaze, but at the start of dinner service, it was not ready. I will say that the rotisserie chicken with its citrusy & garlicky flavor was an adequate substitute. Side dish wise, they have a limited selection of which were included with the meal; sweet plantains and tostones were extra. Of the small size moros and yuca, the boiled yuca with its mojo seasoning was the winner. Dessert was a crema catalana (creme brulee) with a crispy crust and berries. This was another highlight.

Yelp
I Hadn't been to The Rosa in like 5 years ago, It has always been good, but these must be new owners. They have really taken it to another level. I love the traditional Cuban food, but with the added flair and beautiful presentation they serve their food with. I had Crema de Malanga, not to many restaurants serve it, delicious. Also ordered the A lo Cubano, the Shredded fried pork was awesome. Portions were more than plentiful, and to be honest, as long as you stay away from Chef Specialties, and fancy cocktails (that all looked very appealing), the prices are pretty reasonable for this above average Cuban food experience. Service was great, always were at our side answering any question we had about the menu.

Yelp
After a long week of work and a travel to Miami, I decided to check this place out that wasn't too far from my hotel and let me tell you, I am soooo happy I did! It was a quiet night and so I had options to either sit at the bar, at a table inside or outside and I chose the bar. The host was kind and the bartender immediately gave me water and some nuts to start the meal off. The bartender also had a variety of recommendations which I took and don't regret it one bit. I ordered the pulpo for my appetizer which was divine--it came in this tasty sauce along with potatoes, onions and capers. They provide bread to dip in the sauce--don't forget to do that. For my entree I got the Branzino. When they bring it out they torch the thyme, check out my video. It was stuffed with lemon and they also provide lemon to squeeze on top. It was delicious. It came with two sides and I ordered yuka and mashed potatoes. They are pretty decent sized and I couldn't finish it all. Lastly I ordered a glass of Sauvignon blanc to pair with the fish and I'd highly recommend that as well.

Yelp
I ordered through Uber Eats fried pork chunks, deep fried breaded chicken and a key lime pie. Received 4 fried pork chunks, dry and one was very hard to eat (the other chunks were tasty) for the price of $19.99. The deep fried breaded chicken was tasty but very expensive for the portion. And the key lime pie... a tiny pie for $13.00. I understand the price increase due to inflation buy why reduce the portions served?

Yelp
This is the BEST Cuban food I have had in soooo long. Appetizers of empanadas stuffed with oxtail tender and delish. Fish croquettes crispy with a tasty dip. Followed by main dish Vaca Frita de Carne... wow!!!! Best black beans were some of the best I've ever had. My friend ordered the lobster tail, sweet and tender and another ordered the Branzino fish it was light delicate white fish, great presentation and tasty. The staff could not have nicer and the bartender mixed a mean mojito- little sweet but with fresh lime juice. Finished up with flan and cemented a great experience. Can not wait to be back.

Yelp
My daughter was hungry and we were looking for someplace new to eat. It was raining and it was one of those weekends where there was a lot going on in Miami. Boat show as well as the Coconut Grove Arts Festival. We were trying to find something easy and away from the crowds. We should have yelped first as this place was good but not great. The prices are Brickell prices in an area where Cuban cuisine is everywhere. The service was good and the food was good, not great. $50 for a churrasco steak that does not come with moros as a side option is not typical for a Cuban restaurant. The servers are nice but they try to push drinks on you over and over again. The croqueta appetizer was piping hot to the point that it burnt my pallet. There was no warning about how hot this was and I was with my 10 year old. The experience was laughable with my daughter as my grandmother cooks better and the bill was $80 again with no drinks and we shared the steak. Steak, tostones, moros, and croquetas. $80 for lunch. No thank you. If you are looking to pay a premium price for Cuban food in an area that is abundant with Cuban cuisine, come here.

Yelp
I will shout it from rooftops how much I love this place! La Rosa deserves to be recognized as honestly one of the best Cuban restaurants in the city! From their cocktails, straight through the whole menu, everything is amazing! The empanadas de rabo are a must! The malanga, the lamb shank, I mean everything was amazing. I'm going back on a Thursday for their Rabo encendido for sure. The service is fantastic. They are all so welcoming and attentive. They are now doing lunch specials, which are a must try. The ambiance is perfect for any occasion. They also have a really cute outdoor seating area. I legit can't wait to go back.

Yelp
When in South Florida, eating Cuban food is a MUST! We went over to La Rosa for a wonderful Cuban dinner. Here's what we ordered: ~Pisco sour ~Moscato ~Croquetas de jamon-Cuban creamy bechamel style ham croquettes with smoked paprika aioli. They had a crispy outside and a soft inside and were so yummy! ~Ceviche La Rosa- chef selection of fresh fish, marinated in a citrus fruit and tiger's milk , onion, pepper and mango mix This was so fresh and had so many great flavors. I also loved the presentation! ~Chuleta regular prime 8oz- pork prime rib with fried eggs and finger potatoes. Served with jasmine rice, Moro rice, black beans I highly recommend this unique and delicious dish! The pork was so tender and had an incredible sauce and went so well with the rich egg yolk. The potatoes were so crispy and seasoned really well. ~Arroz con pollo traditional traditional Cuban rice dish with chicken. Served with fried sweet plantains . This came in a very generous portion and the chicken was so tender it came right off the bone. They had delicious food and a very talented flutist! It was truly a wonderful dining experience.

Yelp
Stopped here for dinner without a reservation. We were a fairly large group so I was glad they could accommodate for us. We got seated outside and it was getting dark so the mosquitoes were quite brutal, but we told the staff and they quickly were able to move us inside! They were super nice and accommodating and all of the food was delicious. There was even live music during dinner which added to the ambiance of the restaurant.

Yelp
Great food, very attentive service and reasonable prices! We were looking for a Cuban meal while spending one night in Miami, and found La Rosa. We had a house salad, the shrimp, and a pork chop. They all had great flavors and husband said it was the best pork chop he'd ever had.

Yelp
Excellent Cuban Cuisine, Miami FL We had dinner at La Rosa during our stay in Miami. This is a nice upscale restaurant with its own private parking lot. They have indoor and outdoor dining with soft dimmed lighting ambiance inside. It was a quiet Wednesday evening but we were seated nearby a party of four who were a bit loud... it's okay, though, they were pleasantly enjoying each other's company with all the laughter. The dinner menu had a little bit of everything with short descriptions along the Cuban dish. I chose the Filete de res 9 oz (Filet Mignon) while the hubby and daughter each ordered the Camarones Ajillo (Garlic Shrimp). Sides were included with the dishes and we chose Arroz Jazmin, Frijoles Negros, and Yuca Hervida... and for dessert we shared the Flan de la Abuelita! The flan (omg) what a beautiful and delectable dessert with all the fruits, Oreo powder and mascarpone cheese. No dessert for the hubby, instead he enjoyed a Cafe Cubano. Everything was delicious and service was exceptional. Overall a very nice first time dining experience at La Rosa. We're planning on returning to Miami in February next year and we'd love to dine here again! It was a nice dinner date with the hubby + 1 LoL! Our middle child joined us. Gracias! Yelp
What a great find for tourist like me. Don't know much about Cuban food but I needed to try since we're here in Miami . Anyway after a long drive from Orlando and a few touristy stops along the way . (Airboat ride... etc). We were hungry. I have r search prior to coming here, where I can take my wife and daughter for dinner . I was looking g for a south Florida food experience and Cuban food was always out there as suggestion. When we got here, we were greeted by a person at the bar and have us seated. The place looks elegant and by the looks of it, it's formal casual dress code. It would be odd if you come in shorts and t shirt. Anyway it's really fine Cuban food when you have to ask on the menu. I and my step daughter had the same camarone (shrimp butter garlic) it was delicious. I hade it along with white rice and black beans. All in all we had a great food experience with LaRosa. The servers were great.

Stu W.

Yelp
If your ever out by Miami international airport and want dinner, I have the place if you're in the mood for FINE Cuban cuisine. From the greeting when we walked in to the good night, it was totally a treat. The food unbelievable, the Sangria the best I've ever had. The chips and sauce outstanding. One of us had oxtail, one had ropa neueva ( take off on ropa vieja. It was dressed in a stuffed red pepper. I had picadillo. All dinners top notch. The finish, the best flan I've ever had. If you go there you'll thank me. It was remodeled awhile ago. Place has been there since 1970. Don't miss it

Yelp
Found this place near our hotel. We have a quick overnight before our cruise and wanted some authentic Cuban food. Read the reviews and had to try this place. I'm so glad we did! We had Empanadas de Rabo to start. Came with a few lines and some really yummy dipping sauce. Oxtail was a great start to our meal! Next our mains: the presentation of both meals was so lovely! The fried pork was really juicy and full of flavor. The pickled onion was a great touch. The stuffed pepper with ropa nueva was really tender, perfectly shredded and full flavor with the tomato sauce. The moros, the yuca, both complimented our mains perfectly. The garlic sauce on the yuca was super tasty. Last was the flan with toasted coconut. Omg what an amazing finish. We also had a glass of wine, a Cuban old fashioned, a mojito and a classic margarita. All the drinks were spot on and really fresh. We really enjoyed this meal! An amazing start to our epic vacation! We will def be back next time we are in Miami!

Yelp
I passed by this restaurant on the way to the hotel many times and finally decided to stop. I had quite possibly the best pork chop I've ever had. It was thick, perfectly cooked and full of flavor. Great bread and rice. The black beans weee good, but just a touch more chili flavor than I prefer. Overall excellent Cuban option.

Yelp
Great ambiance, love the decor and the live music! Servers were very nice and helpful. I ordered the ceviche and it was ok but the vaca frita was delicious! Good Cuban spot.

Yelp
The bread was fantastic and the food was wonderful. I had shredded beef in a red pepper and my husband had the special which was swordfish. The service was very attentive.

Yelp
Food was really good but our server seemed bothered by my wife and I sharing a dinner. We had appetizers and dessert as well but really felt judged by her. Ambiance was beautiful just wish the service had been better.

Yelp
The food was delicious and the service was amazing our server and food runner Dayami (Guajira ) they are both so friendly and professional! The presentation of the food is great! We always sit outdoors, but inside the painting of Cuba is very unique! Definitely recommend this restaurant!

Yelp
La Rosa was a great experience. The food was perfect. We started with appetizers and everything was spot on. Then we ordered our entree's and all of us in the party got different dishes and had to try them all!! 5 star

Yelp
I visited today Tuesday Around 4-5 pm the lady waitress who served me left me Very disappointed, I ordered RABO ENSENDIDO for my self and my son was served 3 small pieces. So disappointing because I come here alot last week I came 3 times they always serve good portions but this was not even descent, before you order RABO in this place make sure you find out how many pieces they serve.

Yelp
I had a wonderful experience at La Rosa Fine Cuban Cuisine. The restaurant is located near the Miami International Airport, which was very convenient for me as I had a flight to catch later that day. The restaurant has a cozy and elegant atmosphere, with white tablecloths and colorful dishes. The service was friendly and attentive, and the food was delicious. I ordered the vaca frita de lechón, which was seared pork with onion, sweet pepper and mojo. It came with jasmine rice, moro rice, black beans and cassava. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the sides were well-cooked and seasoned. The portion was generous and satisfying. I also tried the empanadas de rabo, which were oxtail empanadas with cilantro aioli. They were crispy and juicy, and the aioli added a nice touch of creaminess and freshness. For dessert, I had the flan de coco, which was coconut flan with caramel sauce. It was smooth and creamy, with a subtle coconut flavor. It was not too sweet, and it melted in my mouth. It was the perfect way to end my meal. I would definitely recommend La Rosa Fine Cuban Cuisine to anyone who loves Cuban food or wants to try something new. The restaurant offers a variety of dishes, from traditional to modern, and they are all made with quality ingredients and care. The prices are reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The restaurant also has a full bar, a wine list and exotic cocktails. La Rosa Fine Cuban Cuisine is more than just Cuban cuisine. It is a place where you can enjoy a memorable dining experience with great food, drinks and service. I can't wait to come back.

Yelp
Yes, it's all that and a cup of cafe con lèche!!! Wonderful Cuban food that we will definitely want to come back again. We were looking for a savory lunch before heading out of town, and wanted to elevate our culinary experience from the ordinary Versailles, etc. And we were rewarded greatly. The parking was easy and available. The decor was upscale and friendly but we opted to seat outside on the patio. Lunch menu has many options. Fish fillet was grilled, well seasoned with a nice sauce. Choice of side dishes. Salad was more than your usual side salad with vinaigrette. Yum. Side of rice and beans. I could have more now thinking about it. Since the oxtail was available on select days only for lunch, I opted for the lamb shank off the regular menu. That was the bomb! There was a distinctive crisp that hit the high notes. The flavor was amazing with a thicker sauce. The seasoning could have been toned down but it paired well with the rice and black beans. As you can see with my photo ... let's just say that I was enjoying it way too much before I realized that I forgot to take a pic. Too bad I was stuffed after the shank so we passed on the desserts. The cafe con lèche was was worth it but pricier at $6. Definitely going to come back next time we are in town. I'd even Uber over from the airport, if I had a decent layover.

Yelp
This place came highly recommended by the hotel staff at Holiday Inn. We went in search of great, authentic Cuban fare and we were rewarded with fantastic food, great service and a grand time! Our server made great recommendations and the four of us got different menu items and were pleased with the incredible flavors and awesome presentation of the dishes. The food was hot and fresh and plentiful, too. A great place for enjoying wonderful Cuban cuisine in a welcoming atmosphere.

Yelp
The food is incredible here! The swordfish is amazing, Masitas are good, lobster is pretty good too. Waiters are very friendly and helpful. I would definitely go back

Yelp
The food was flavorful, I've had better Cuban. The service was atrocious. We had to keep asking for our server to get anything. In between we would wait and wait and wait. Then when the bill came after a lot of waiting, they had added gratuity without telling us that. We still tipped 25%, only after did we realize that they had already included gratuity. There were only four of us... Why was gratuity added? Maybe because they knew their service was horrible. I wouldn't call this fine dining. Fix your service or this place won't last. It's a damn shame.

Yelp
Great high end Cuban food. Impressive food presentation. Great tasting and high quality dishes. I always bring out of towners to dine here. Close to airport for pre or post flight meal. This is the real Miami experience. Check them out.

Yelp
What a lively local and well operated restaurant in the Blue Lagoon area of Miami! The food was absolutely delicious and I was grateful to be able to be there on a night that the lamb shank was available. So many wonderful flavors I'll do my best to keep this review simple and helpful. Apps I and you should order: Croquetas de Bacalao, Empanadas de Queso, and Empanadas de Rabo. Croquets read as ham but have a powerful and delicious smoked pork flavor. The Rabo empanadas could be a small plate meal and the Queso version had high quality and quantity of filling. The lamb shank was absolutely amazing! *Not* gamy to taste at all and just such a wonderful slow braised flavor I'm not surprised this is a limited offering through the week. I'm not a big desert fan but the Coconut 4 Leches and Pudin Diplomatico with Berries are a must order and share for the table. Great value for both as well! The service was very attentive and accommodating. However if I didn't have bilingual folks dining with myself it might have been a struggle to convey all my questions and responses. With that, it's a wonderful local spot that even our Uber driver stated "this a very good restaurant" when dropping us off. Do yourself a solid a give it go. I doubt you'll be disappointed.

Yelp
We went for brunch with some friends and had a great time! We ordered our drinks, the bottomless mimosas with passion fruit juice and it was delicious. The cappuccino was delicious too. For my entree, I ordered the croque madam sandwich with fries and it was really good. The rest of the food looked really good too. I'd definitely recommend this place for brunch!

Yelp
Food was good before the pandemic. Portions have been reduced very much. Food is not bad but not the best anymore.

Yelp
My mother and I hadn't been to La Rosa in years, so we decided to stop in for lunch today. While the food was delicious, and the presentation attractive, there were several issues during our visit. - Service: The restaurant was relatively empty, so you would assume service would be good. However, the service was subpar at best. We kept having to call the server over, which was a task in and of itself, because the servers kept hanging out by the bar with their backs to the dining area. At one point, my mother had to get up herself to ask for sugar for our coffee. Additionally, our server brought us the check (without us asking for it), which was to be paid on a handheld computer. He hovered over me, rushing me to pay the bill. It was uncomfortable and unnecessary. - The bill: Our two entrees were a lunch special, which includes the meat and two sides, along with a soup or salad and a soda. I ordered a soda which apparently wasn't part of the special, because I was charged for it and not told. Additionally, their diet soda options are extremely limited, with Diet Pepsi the only choice. Finally, after paying the check, we noticed our 2 coffees totaled $12, which was a shock. A cortadito at $6 a piece? Unheard of. We would consider returning solely for the food, but our experience has soured our inclination.

Yelp
Amazing amazing food!!! I don't do written reviews often but his place was off the charts. We had the lechon, shrimp explosion, ceviche, and chuleta. Best pork chop of my life. Hands down. Milly was our server and she was outstanding.

Yelp
Beautiful little restaurant. The entrées were on point and the drinks were on point. I truly recommend this place.

Yelp
We had dinner here the first night we arrived in Miami for Christmas break. It was Christmas Eve and the ambience is very romantic and pretty. Unfortunately we are no good judge of Cuban food, but Ceviche tastes very fresh and nice and lobster is great as well. Empanada with oxtail filling (?) is delicious (we are not a huge fan, but it is not the dish to blame, because later we had the empanada at some other Cuban restaurants and in retrospect what they have here tastes the best). The service is very good as well.

Yelp
A perfect evening at La Rosa. Food, service, and ambiance all five stars. I had the Fricasse de Pollo a la Cubana and the Choco Exotic for dessert.

Yelp
If you're not eating here right now, the question is WHY NOT??? We're putting this on the list of MUST COME AGAIN! Super cute sitting outside in the patio. Lovely staff. Can't say enough.

Yelp
Went on a weekday and tried different dishes. Though they were flavorful, most of the dishes came under temperature, borderline, room temperature. Easy fix but not a good impression on customers. The restaurant only had maybe just another 3 tables so it's hard to fathom why the food was cold. This is an easy fix and I hope they do. For us, it was a waste of our time and money. Disappointed.

Yelp
I just had one of the most incredible meals of my life!! We are on our way to the airport and by chance found La Rosa on yelp and we were very impressed! The ceviche was one of the best I've had in a very long time. They also have a $14.99 3-course menu that is a fantastic value. The chicken barbacoa was out of this world! Each dish was a work of art and tasted equally as good. Our server was very knowledgeable and friendly, he did not steer us wrong on anything! To top it off they have great cocktails and wine. La Rosa has become our favorite Cuban restaurant in Miami - don't miss it!!

Yelp
Superb!!!! Ox tail in red wine sauce. The sides Yuca, blkack beans....amazing. The dessert= Flan, served on a coconut shell placed on a shallow bowl with a bit of water and dry ice! What a show.

Yelp
When you're in MIA, don't miss this wonderful authentic Cuban restaurant! The staff was very friendly and accommodating, the service was excellent (on a Friday evening at 7pm), and the food was amazing. Very authentic, yet specialized Cuban entrees.

Yelp
Very nice restaurant which we have seen many times but never visited. Our waitress la guajira was very friendy and we will definitely be back. Food tasted very good as well. My hisband had the vaca frita de pollo (pictured). I had the crema de malanga. For appetizer we had malanga chips and malanga fritters. They also give complimentary bread and butter.

Yelp
After many years, made a reservation to La Rosa, to a surprising updated location. The restaurant added an outdoor area but decided to dine inside instead. Service was excellent. Our waiter was attentive and courteous. The food was delicious and the presentation was outstanding. Would definitely recommend this location. Next time we would probably dine in the outdoor area.
