"The huge conservatory of this Rotonde commands a splendid panoramic view over Annecy Lake, sweeping diners off their feet, even before their first bite! Originally from Arcachon, Eric Prowalski adds flavours from southwest France to recipes which highlight sustainably grown local produce. This skilled craftsman deftly unfolds a repertory in which creativity never hampers the flavour, developing a delicious "dialogue" between his adopted land and his homeland. The understated interior showcases a subtle blend of warm materials such as leather and oak." - Michelin Inspector

Absolutely delicious culinary experience, where every dish is clearly crafted with passion and precision by the chef. The attention to detail in both flavor and presentation was top-notch. Attentive service, a gorgeous view that adds to the ambiance, and an overall vibe that makes you want to stay longer. Highly recommend, a true hidden gem for food lovers.

Best restaurant I’ve ever had the pleasure of eating in. My wife and I have eaten in a few starred places and the one thing this had over those was the completeness of the menu. Every course was perfect. We couldn’t pick a favourite dish which is not usually the case. If you’re thinking of eating here.. take action, book a table and enjoy! Also we left with canele- the best we’ve had.

Fabulous dishes, set against a spectacular view of the mountains and lake as the sun sets. Service was great as we started the meal, little less attentive towards the back half of the meal but a very positive experience overall. Figure on 4 hours.

Very delicious and quite an interesting experience!!! I didn't expect that the chef would turn ingredients that I normally don't like into something that tastes really good. The lamb rib with the red wine sauce is absolutely gorgeous. The oyster and the fish tartar is also very very well designed.

We enjoyed an excellent lunch . The three course „around a plate“. Each element prepared perfectly and all well balanced. They made a special effort to give us a great table and a message from the chef as it was a special occasion.

Delicious food and awesome view over the lake of Annecy! Nonetheless, this place used to be more generous in terms of food quantity and service used to be more attentive. Also, I am not a big fan of naked tables in a gastronomic setting.

I spent an extraordinary evening. The entire experience was worth the long flight from Chicago. The gorgeous views, the friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive service was a wonderful setup to enjoy the meal. Every dish was so intricate, complex in flavor, and so beautiful to look at. I felt so many emotions with every bite. I loved how every dish had a special local flavor with a an explanation from the service staff on where it's from. It's food made with love, detail, and passion. Don't miss it. It's these special moments that remind you how beautiful life is!

We ate here while staying at the hotel. It was absolutely disgusting. Very pretentious and over produced. Dinner took 3 hours to complete and consisted of 9 courses. Each containing a bite or two. I have been to other star restaurants in the past and have never had this level of nonsense. Everything tasted like one specific type of bitter cheese or hazelnuts. Not sure how they are able to maintain the star with this mediocre menu.
